Guest Reviews
- Magda (10/5): Unforgettable experience - I had absolutely amazing time in Rawla Mrignayani Palace! The place is beautiful, huge room, super friendly and helpful staff. They made big effort to make us feel special, the welcome they prepared for us was unforgettable experience. We loved it!! The best place we stayed in so far. The stay was too short :)

- Hugh (10/5): Real Gem - Excellent location. Such friendly staff. We didn't arrive till after 11pm and received such a welcome from Mohammad and his team with garlands of flowers and petals on our path to our room. We were upgraded to a magnificent room and it was such old world. Fresh sheets on beds. Very comfortable. There was an open air restaurant. Ate there two nights and food was excellent. My daughter had great fun with owner's child. Met David the owner who explained history of hotel. They couldn't do enough for us. Many many thanks. Nothing to dislike
- Louis (7/5): - Great location, helpful staff, beautiful historic building, lovely and personal welcome for each guest. The fact that they take cash only. It's good to accept different methods of payment.
- Kerstin (10/5): Top Hotel für den Preis - Total süßes Hotel im Palast-Stil. Echt mal was anderes.
- Patrick (9/5): Fabulous location and food - The hotel has the faded grandeur that you expect of a former palace. Our room was especially spacious and comfortable. Like a lot of India's hotels, the cleanliness could be more thorough, but it's more than made up for by the hospitality of our host. They have a delightful welcoming ceremony. I won't spoil the surprise. Food on the rooftop terrace is excellent, both breakfast and dinner. They even offered to drive us to the airport if our early morning taxi didn't arrive, as we had had problems with uber and rapido not turning up. We would definitely recommend staying here. The location is ideal for all the sights. Only just over a kilometre to the metro, which connects you to the railway station. Nothing

- Vysakh (9/5): - The hospitality, Customer service . I love this place even it's old Little bit of dusty I feel when walking through corridors

- Kullkarni (8/5): - Nice home stay close to city palace.
- Gerardo (10/5): - Beautiful place, a wonderful old Haveli, nicely maintained, very close to Hawamahal; with very helpful team. Want to go back soon!
- Chun Man (8/5): Priime location and value for money - Friendly and helpful staff. Room is spacious and comfortable bed. The hotel has a lovely decor with 2 communal courtyards. Close to main tourist attractions, eg 10-min walk to Hawa Mahal. Relatively quiet as it's off the main road. The bathroom is a bit rundown although functional.
- Amy (10/5): If you’re up for a quirky stay and value for money then you really can’t beat this place. An oasis in a crazy city! We l - Location is fantastic - a quiet oasis in a crazy city. The staff were exceptional, they really can’t do enough for you. The food was excellent too - freshly cooked, really tasty and gentle on western stomachs! There was nothing we disliked about the property. It’s certainly not 5 star luxury - the room and bathroom were very dated and there was no shower curtain which meant we flooded the bathroom every time we took a shower! HOWEVER, the property is described really accurately so we knew what we were getting and the value for money is outstanding.
- Maciek (7/5): - Lokalizacja, personel i Panie kucharki Czystość w pokoju.
- Ana (10/5): - Everything! It was a great staying experience. Loved the property ... spacious room, wonderful check-in experience, lovely terrace to enjoy the morning sun, good food, wonderful staff, wonderful service, etc. Location-wise also it is great as it within walking distance to quite a few tourist spots such as the Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Devji Mandir, Kala Hanuman Mandir, Johri Bazar and also cafes and other eateries. Nothing. It was a great stay!

- Tamoha (9/5): Perfect -
- Prajakata To (10/5): - Service and food was nice.
Hot ,home cooked food.
Terrace views are very nice in the evening.
It's a old palace,converted into hotel.
- Badal (7/5): It’s awesome and staffs were of very polite and good behaviour. I can’t forget the fragrance of roses at the welcome not - Super clean and hygienic.
- Kocianova (7/5): Beautiful surroundings, nice staff - Beautiful garden terrace Noise in the rooms
- Gourab (10/5): -
- Vinod Kumar (10/5): - Room and hostilities Didn't find any thing like that
- Alexis Belash (9/5): A great family and a nice home with a history. - A fun and convenient location near markets and attractions. The old mansion is a wonderful maze of rooms rooftops, and quiet spaces. The family/staff we extremely helpful and responsive for all our needs.
- Mojan (10/5): -
- Juan (10/5): - . .
- Ortolani (10/5): - The hotel is an absolutely enchanting old haveli. It's in the heart of Jaipur, but it's very quiet and peaceful. Clean and comfortable, it's hard to leave... All the staff are kind, attentive, and welcoming. In short, an unforgettable experience!
- Allan (10/5): Nice place - Friendly staff N/A
- janardhan (4/5): The shower, the geyser and mosquitos and the behavior of the staff ruined it for me. - The overall vibes of the hotel. The haveli was beautiful. The shower was not working. The Geyser was not working. The room had mosquitos.
- Herad (10/5): -

- Evgeniya (10/5): Magical Stay in a Beautiful Heritage Hotel - This is an amazing hotel — stay here if you want to truly feel the special atmosphere of Jaipur. It’s a heritage property with a stunning interior, and we honestly felt like princesses in a palace!
The staff was very attentive and kind. We ordered breakfast in the mornings and had it on the terrace. There’s also a laundry area available for guests to use freely, which was very convenient.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Pink city, yet peaceful. Also, just around the corner there’s a great chai shop — definitely check it out!
When we arrived, the room was a bit dusty, but it was cleaned properly the next day after we asked — so no big issue.
- Xumi (8/5): Very good - This place is neat and cheap. The normal rooms are average for Jaipur but the whole house has a lot of charme, especially during the nights .Though the more pricy suites are very nice. You can walk in 15 minutes to the city centre which makes it really welll situated. Breakfast was okay but nothing special.
- Francois (3/5): Poor - Quiet location, not far from city palace The hotel was supposed to be relatively quiet but there were some noisy tourists singing at 3:00 am in front of the room door and some dog barking later on.
- Maxine (10/5): Exceptional - Great location for sightseeing. Staff very helpful
We also ate here and was very good.
- Samanta (10/5): Rawla Mrignayani Palace: 10/10 would recommend - Rawla Mrignayani Palace carries with it the very essence of Jaipur, its history, culture and care.
Firstly, we were upgraded to a better suite which was a pleasant surprise to begin with, our stay was short and sweet, the staff, and the owner were exceptionally kind and helped us at each step of the way. If you are visiting Jaipur and want a regal vibe, then this is the place!
- Kocianova (10/5): Exceptional - It was like little oasis in the centre of Jaipur. The food was really delicious, we got a great room, the beds were good. It can get loud at night therefore I recommend wearing earplugs, but thats the case everywhere in india. The staff was very helpful and sweet, we felt there very comfortable i definitely recommend you going there. :)
- Pallavi (9/5): Superb -
- John (8/5): Wonderfully atmospheric, but a little down at heel. Would I go back? Probably yes. - If you like your hotels bland, corporate and without any surprises, then this is not one for you. On the other hand if you like quirky and full of character, then this is worth a try! It is very centrally situated, though it is in a rather scruffy area. The hotel itself is the house which used to belong to the owners' family, and there are photogrpahs of their grandparents in some of the rooms. The core of the house is said to be three hundred years old, and I could certainly believe that. It has lots of pretty architectural features and has a huge sense of atmosphere. Although I was not due to arrive until midnight, the staff all waited up, and when I found the Wifi wasn't working, they rebooted it and it was fine. Certainly, one member of staff could not do enough to help. Oh, in both the rooms in which I stayed (long story, but it wasn't because anyone was at fault) the beds were really comfortable. Perhaps it is just because it is a very old building, it has a rather shabby appearance, with plaster flaking from the walls in places. There were other little niggles like sockets that didn't work. There was a kettle in my room, but the socket by it didn't work. Water was provided, but if you were ever to boil the kettle there did not appear to be anything provided to make a drink. Come to think f it, I don't remember seeing any cups either, but I might be wrong. The bathroom didn't seem especially clean. But, as I said at the start, if, like me, you like quirky, it could be for you, though I never did find out why there was a shotgun by the kitchen door!
- Obey (9/5): Superb - Heritage place ...it was built 200 years ago ...that was so special for me Parking issue
- Ankit (5/5): Passable -
- Vikrant (9/5): Superb -
- Christina (9/5): Superb -
- Devyanshu (7/5): Good - The room which was given to us had two double beds which were comfy.
Overall it was a nice stay. They didn't have jet sprays or handheld sprays in toilet. Rest everything was fine.
- Joseph (9/5): Very affordable and peaceful place to stay and the property is situated at a very prime location - Best location. Very helpful and polite staff. Very humble owner. Very good hospitality and the management team did our warm welcome with welcome juice and garland which was the best part when we first reached the property. Very safe place to stay with friends and family. Spacious rooms and washroom. Home made food was delicious. NA
- Yogesh (8/5): Very good - This property don’t have the jet spray or anything in this property i mean we r in India or Europe not not for Indian’s
- Giulia (5/5): not worth the value. pretty but scarce service. very loud at night and dark alley for the entrance - beautiful building, spacious room and toilet with hot water. central location the entrance is located in a dark and hidden dead end alley , not visible from the main road. getting to the place after dark as a solo traveler, woman, felt a bit uncomfortable, and this was not visible from the hotel webpage. there are a lot of stray dogs in the alley and hanging around the hotel entrance or napping by the doormat -which I don’t mind as they are peaceful - . I spent two nights in the hotel and the second night they hauled and barked non stop from 22:30 to 2 am and again from 4 am onwards, making it impossible to sleep.
the water in the fridge was opened and re-bottled, which is definitely not something you’d expect from a hotel in this price range, as they know well that travelers won’t feel well drinking unbottled water. I asked for a tee bag, as there’s a boiler in the room but nothing to have hot water with, and they said they didn’t have any. I also called to asked for a rickshaw pickup at the station as I arrived after dark, and they said “there are many rickshaw just pick one”.
my trip in jaipur was longer and i decided to love to another hotel rather then extending my stay here, as i don’t think this was worth the money. the new place is less “pretty” and definitely more simple (cold water only) but staff is far more supportive and happy to make your stay pleasant.
- Virginia (7/5): Good location, friendly helpful staff. Property seen better days - They were really helpful and gave us a room with an extra bed as we were friends traveling who didn’t want to share a bed! There was a bath!! The room was clean but a little jaded and dark. The staff were really helpful. Location is good for Pink City. There was a lot of ambient noise, staff talking in corridors and outside our room which interrupted our sleep.
- Basak (10/5): Exceptional - Location, excellent hospitality, value for money.
- Verma (5/5): Passable -
- Francois (9/5): Superb - Very welcome in a 300 years old building, well preserved and renovated. Quiet bedrooms. A big thank you to Ali, who was there at the arrival and departure. Access is not immediately visible

- Roy (8/5): Very good - The ambience and the facilities
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional - This is the 2nd time that I have stayed here.

- Andrew (9/5): Good stay in a good location - Very large room, warm welcome, interesting building, good location
- Hervé (10/5): Perfect perfect perfect - Everything perfect like the first time
- Vijay (1/5): Glorified Home stay at best - Not for Indians
Everything is done 2 keep foreigners happy
-WiFi not working
-No Jet in washrooms (bcoz foreigners do not use jet) but there was no toilet paper as well
-There is no Kitchen or Restaurant (u have 2 select from 2-3 items and order 2 hours before u want to eat)
-If u order from zomato they will not receive ur food at reception , u will have to go down from 3rd floor to pick up food by stairs (there is no lift)
Then they will not provide cutlery and u will have to use disposables
-there are monkey attacks early mornings and evenings and u have take care of your own safety ( my 4 year old was almost attacked, I got to him before the monkey to save him)
- No maintenance of the premises, everything is rusty and broken
- Ajay (9/5): The past and present - The Location and medieval Architectural feel of the place is unique.
- Skaranth (9/5): Superb -
- Praveen (10/5): Exceptional -

- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Property was really close for sightseeing. Room was large and very clean. Staff were great and very helpful. The property has a lovely garden patio - perfect for a beer after sightseeing. Nothing
- Taylor (7/5): Good - So many steep and narrow staircases.
- Raquel (1/5): Horrible experience - Horrible experience. We arrive at 1:30am and not only they don't have pick up service also is not easy place to found. The person who received us he make us wait half hour to give us room (it was 2am!) , we were exhausted from our trip from Delhi and not only he make us wait for room also he ask us to pay for all our reservation (it was 8 days!!) . Finally he give us one room underground and the room had a machine outside of the window that worked all night. We didn't sleep at all. Also he tell us if we want water bottle we had to pay... If you know something about India is that first thing they give you to welcome you is water bottle and chai. Is embarrassing that in a hotel that is not cheap they don't give you at least one welcome water bottle. Next day we tell them we want to check out and they charge us doble. Not recommended. And also is very far from center.
- Karne (3/5): In the heart of the city and accessible to the local market. Overall not a good value for money. - The staff was very unfriendly and not reachable. There is no landline phone or intercom to call the staff for anything.
The room service was pathetic too.
- Heshwinee (8/5): Very good -
