Guest Reviews
- Deana (6/5): Not great - Ok stay. Very basic. Take shower gel etc. Not included. Shower not great. Room cold but heater soon warmed up room. Resembles a HMO. Tatty.
- Vince (2/5): Slum - I stayed here a few years ago and it was always ok, not great but ok.
Its now no more than a doss house, with drunks, drug taking and the usual scum.
It stank of weed, the room was appaling, the bed useless and the bathroom mouldy, smelly and a right excrement hole.
Im easily pleased but I csn assure you avoid this place.
- Medhanie (2/5): - Seems like a homeless accommodation. Heating not working. Smelly house and hallway. Inexperienced staff. I will not go back ever. £63 pound ripp off
- Kevin (4/5): - Not the best to be honest. Pretty run down accommodation, with the look of a homeless hostel about it. Stains on the walls in the room, bathroom door would not stay closed and swung open exposing you to the world. loo constantly filled itself up and overflowed. Room was cold so I had to buy a heater.
- Gessa (2/5): - Very small and noisy
- Philip (2/5): - Sign hanging off wall making noise in the wind all night. Trams right outside window making noise. No remote for tv. No spoons with coffee cups. Toilet door not shut. Don’t stay here terrible hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don't use - Poor conditions in room, 1 towel, 1 mug, bathroom door not able to close. 1 socket at floor level if needed to use - health & safety issue for burns. Curtains did not cover windows adequately so able to be seen from road.
Picture being shown nest to this comment box is not how room was.
- Kwaku (10/5): - It was a mazing
- Leeroy (8/5): - You get what you pay for here rooms are basic but they are cheap, the area it’s in looks a dive tbf but overall was a still a good experience and I probably would stay here again
- Saleh (10/5): - Everything about the hotel and above all very nice helpful respectful staff and manager.
- A9087SAcarolc (2/5): Trevilles Eccles - Do not stay here unless you're not fussy its a hovel, filthy dirty , a dump , my son stayed here after being discharged from hospital as he couldn't get home , I went next day to collect him , I was shocked by state of room, apparently lots of homeless people sent here, lots of men hanging around outside, not the place for vulnerable people as my son was at that time .
- O1950WDdanm (2/5): DO NOT STAY PLEASE!!!! - Even if your looking for somewhere to stay for a Man United match etc DO NOT STAY HERE! We stayed here cause it was slightly cheaper albeit 250€ for three people! On arrival the police were there. The front door was shut and we were brought around a dark car park to a dodgey back door! There was no reception nor curtains in the room! My bed was broke there was two punch holes in the wall and to be honest it seemed like a place homeless people were saying NEVER A HOTEL!!!! Huge domestic fight in the room next door to the point we were terrified to leave and we were three men in one room the guy seemed off his nut! Do not stay here for the sake of 20/30€ more hours ANYWHERE else!!!!
- maggi1973 (2/5): Awful - OK let me start with you get what you pay for , upon arriving reception staff was friendly and welcoming and quickly done got to room and first impressions was more like a hostel obviously had been trying to paint at some point as there was paint on blinds one blind didn't work but can live with that ,the carpet was filthy ,had a table and an office chair that was unsafe to sit on as was broken then came bathroom toilet seat not secure was attached on one side cistern was loose also the shower cubicle not clean at all had mould on tiling ,noise from other room at 3.30am carrying on in hall right next to my room screaming and giggling which fair enough if your drunk etc but this woman was over the top not hotels fault . All in all was first visit and last visit only reason I used this is because was only one in ecckes available I travel to eccles regularly but everything was booked up ,only reason it has 1 star was the quick check in certainly not worth 156 gbp paid ,whole place needs to be ripped out and replaced.
- Shamshair (2/5): Prison cell - It was like staying in a prison cell. As walking up the room all I could smell was weed. My room had stains on the wall. Lucky I managed to find another hotel elsewhere
- Miranda (2/5): Dont book here - Never got in tot he property. Looks like its been closed for a long time
- miranda700 (2/5): Couldnt access the property - Arrived to what looked like the picture fo the plave we booked after its been abandoned for a good few years! horrible surrounding area and the place looked shut down. We didn't feel comfortable in the area at all and as we could (and didnt want to) get in we left and booked last minute elsewhere. Now having a painful battle trying to communicate with hotels.com to get a refund. They have now email, live chat that is never live and a phone number that just sits on hold forever, ( I gave up after an hour)
- Michela (4/5): Worst place and area not for bussines or family - The Hotel seems shut down I had to use the back door, the door room handle was broken, carpet really dirty. I saw the receptionist when arrived and then just a number to call in case of problem. Area is dangerous and no facility close at all!
- Rim314 (10/5): Nice hotel - One of the best hotels to spend vacation with family or friends. Excellent service, food, staff and management everything was best. Keep it up👍 I'll come there again InshAllah. This was my best experience.
- 644murshedk (10/5): Super stay made possible by the staff - Really happy to have stayed here on a match day. The hotel is close enough to old Trafford so it was convenient. Rooms clean and cosy. Liked the free WiFi which was super fast. Happy to recommend and will stay again.
- adamf801 (4/5): Not a good experience. - Me and my partner stayed 1 in this hotel for 1 night in August 2019 and I knew that I was going to hate my stay here from the moment I saw the hotel. The whole premises/entrance looks unsightly and you have to wait at the front door/entrance for somebody to let you in. The hotel room was not pleasant at all, the beds were uncomfortable, the room was very hot and unsightly and the bathroom was very small. Additionally, the hotel room is situated right next to the tram line and so you can frequently hear the trams passing by until late, but this is not a complaint against the hotel because you can see that it is situated next to the tram line even before booking. One positive aspect regarding this hotel is that a hairdryer is provided or alternatively you can request one from reception as I did and the receptionist was rather helpful and pleasant. Overall, I did not have a pleasant stay at this hotel and just felt a little on edge stopping here. Would not stay again even for a low price.
- Tararosexxx (4/5): Never again. - Myself and partner stayed here for one night as we had a weekend round manchester.
When we got to the hotel we couldnt get the front door open and spent ages trying to get it open with no luck.
The man at reception was friendly enough and showed us to our room. However on the way up i spotted multiple dead creatures lying on the stairs.
The walls are advertised as sound proof which is completely false as we were both kept awake all night by the next rooms television of which they kept on all night. The tram track is very disturbing but i knew this before booking so cant complain too much.
The rooms are way too hot and you dont have access to opening any windows which is not great.
Overall a very un comfortable night, couldnt really wait to leave.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay here. - I did not stay in this hotel because when I called the desk no one picked up, when I went there a few hours before check-in, the whole hotel was boarded up. There was no one there. I didn't want to be a single woman alone in an establishment. A man called around 8 pm to ask if I was coming and I said No.
- Bradza1221 (10/5): Too stay - I think the best place to stay in Manchester, nice clean rooms, great staff and superb location. Couldn’t have been happier with my stay. Really would recommend to anyone who needs a safe and clean place to stay in Manchester.
- 868JenniferM868 (2/5): Mrs - Not a great place...no front entrance when we arrived at 11pm only a back entrance and only found it because a lady smoking outside helped us.
The room was very dated and cold, there was blood on the sheets (that was not mine) the shower was covered in mould and the trams outside my window didn't stop till after midnight.
Wouldn't stay here again wouldn't even say the £47 I paid was worth it.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very old and worn mattress in room 102. Other than that it was fine
- mark_embery (8/5): Value for money, basic, no frills accommodation with secure parking and fast WiFi-fi - Stayed at Trevilles as my usual overnight stay was fully booked.
The Trivelles is a basic, room only offering but it offered free secure parking and fast wi-fi.
The rooms have a fridge and microwave so you can buy food at the local Shell service station or go a short walk/ drive to local take aways offering Kebabs, Pizzas and Burgers.
Best option is to order a delivered meal.
There is a traditional pub, The Coach & Horses, a couple of minutes walk away which offers good, cheap beers at £2.05 a pint. No food, only bagged snacks.
If you are looking for a low cost accommodation which is warm and clean with a comfy bed and a shower with hot water and which is a ten minute taxi drive fromOld Trafford and the Trafford Centre, then consider this.
But bear in mind it is basic but it is functional.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Satisfactory for overnight stay - Close to a tram line, noisy overnight. The water was scoulding hot, thermostat not working.
- Stacey (2/5): Expensive and dirty - The room was dirty, there were stains on the walls that could have easily been wiped clean. The bed clothes were stained and such bad quality they were scratching and itching. My mother actually checked for bed bugs twice because she was itching. The beds were uncomfortable and the room very hot and you could not open the windows because of the trams directly underneath. The bathroom had no extractor fan and it smelled damp.
There were holes in the walls that needed filling, the toilet roll holder I assume used to be on the wall but there was a hole there instead.
You couldn't have the kettle and the TV on at the same time and the kettle cable didn't even reach the plug.
If it hadn't been for the amount of money already spent we would have moved after the first night.
The only slightly positive comment I have is that the staff were lovely and friendly
- Terry (8/5): - Good place, room in good condition, easy to access most things.
- Aksa (6/5): - It was a good stay, shower was far too tiny. Locations wasn’t too great as it was unsafe.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Served Its Purpose - Stayed here as a couple. There was a big concert on in Manchester on this particular evening and everywhere was booked up. We were attending a function elsewhere and needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night. The reviews prior to arriving were pretty terrible and I was dreading it, but was pleasantly surprised on arrival. Room a little tired but clean beds and ensuite which made it ideal for what we wanted. Gentleman on reception was really pleasant and helpful.
- Rikkkkky (10/5): Serves its purpose, you get what you pay for (with a few extras) - The receptionist was an absolute pleasure, so friendly, and the gentleman who kindly reminded us the checkout time was amazing, he allowed us slightly extra time due to an ambulance visit late at night, so friendly. The cleaner when we left was not very nice and just let her kid sit sprawled across the hallway meaning I had to step OVER THE CHILD with a heavy suitcase up a step. The walls are a bit dirty but to be honest for what you pay, you can’t complain really. You get your own fridge and microwave which never happens in budget hotels, and it’s in a convenient location near a tram stop. The shower nearly burnt my b***s off though just be careful when having a shower but it wasn’t at all a bad experience. Thanks!!!
- ginny_fwbr26783 (4/5): Bedsit rather than hotel - This was more like staying in a bedsit rather than a hotel. It was a distance from any shops except for a rank of takeaways. There was no communal area, no breakfast provided and no one responsible at night should anything go wrong. Having said that, our room had tea/coffee facilities, a fridge and a microwave which was good but no table to sit at apart from the bed. The fixtures and fittings were either broken or faulty in some way or other.
On the plus side, the WiFi was strong and car parking was available and free which was important to us.
- SamanthaM3170 (2/5): OK if needing a bed for the night - not suitable for lone women - I travel a lot for work, so I am not normally too phased by strange places. Room nothing like pictures, no breakfast, you need ID to check in, no desk, not a great location if travelling alone. In need of a good clean/paint job - the toothpaste on wall was the highlight! No-one on desk after 11pm. Noisy trams outside and blinds dont block streetlights.
- 540aideng (6/5): Fine but daunting surroundings - I arrived late one night to stop over for a connection train. I thought I’d arrived at a barracks, or at least what would have passed as it’s old premises because it was dark and cold looking. The front door is clearly for really important security reasons and gave the impression that there was a real possibility of danger. After knocking cautiously the door plonked open and I got off the street fast. The receptionist was polite and explained everything I needed to know. The room was basic but fine, clean and tidy and smelt fresh. Amenities as you would expect. Windows looked onto the main road and was generally quite noisy (although I did request an upstairs room) Shower was hot, bed was just about comfortable. The location is the main issue it makes you feel aware that something might go wrong but thankfully nothing did. Probably won’t stay again.
- Woody_C4 (8/5): Starting to show the cracks - Stayed here last year and had a good stay so tried again and whilst the hotel is very convenient it’s starting to show a few signs of wear and tear, firstly all members of staff were polite, helpful and friendly, main bed was excellent, camp bed was I’m told by my 14 yr old that it was very uncomfortable, toilet extract couldn’t be turned off and was a little inconvenient and when I mentioned it to staff in morning they said it’s because there are no windows but surely it should be controlled by light switch, just a thought. Carpet had a few stains but apart from that the room was adequate. Breakfast was typical chain mass produced buffet and check in and out was simple and efficient, we stay here to go to a match and visit the Trafford centre and location is excellent.
- I (8/5): - Basic but decent enough. No real issues. Nice friendly staff. Very good for the price but don't expect luxury.
- Oran (8/5): Nothing special but does the job. - Staying for business and exactly what I expected. Basic, but clean and functional. Was woken up on several occasions by other guests in the corridor, as well as the emergency services tending to someone who had taken something "not so legal". Pricey enough for what it was, but decent enough.
- T3314UDmuhammad (10/5): Clean & comfy - “Stayed here few times now, good clean hotel with very comfy beds at reasonable price. Always enjoy great night sleep. Excellent staff and always go out of their way to help. Free private car park and good WiFi too. Definitely recommend the place and will keep on coming for sure. Excellent stuff guys
- LittleMissJetSet2020 (2/5): Avoid like the plague. - On arrival at about 5pm the hotel appears to be all in darkness with all the blinds down. At the front door its like fort knocks with a wooden door like something from the film "taken" I stepped inside and the young lad who checked me in was neither helpful nor friendly. As a solo female traveller i didnt feel comfortable. He neither attempted to tell me where id find my room and failed completely to tell me reception would be closed the next morning or the location of the key drop box which i had to find for myself. Online it says 24hr reception.
So you can tell i was less than impressed when at 2.30am a loud alarm went off in the building and there was no staff around to tell us what it was or wether we should stay put. As a woman on my own in the middle of the night it left me feeling quite scared.
The doors are on a keycard system but there is no internal lock again i found that to be disturbing and i had very little sleep and kept the light on most of the night as i just did not feel 100% safe.
This also came after i went to the bathroom and on pushing the door over found what can only be desribed as bullet holes painted over.
The room was pokey like a reaaaally bad student accomodation and although the bed was thankfully clean the walls had some sort of staining all round.
The tea and coffee facilities were less than adequate...i didnt dare and ended up not bothering for fear of cleanliness.
For £82 for one night I was absolutely Hacked off at the quality of this place. What can only be desrcibed as a house with lots of rooms and not really a hotel. Ive never felt happier to get out of somewhere so fast.
I got about 2 hrs broken sleep all night as the walls are paper thin. And the traffic is very loud.
I will never step foot in that hotel ever again.
Only good points was the wifi worked and car park was free.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly reception, dated hotel, however clean and for what we needed good. Would stay again
- S_Dwane (2/5): Not worth £146 per night! Serious rip off for basic rooms - Not worth £146 per night! This should be 30-50 pounds per night maybe but paying close to £300 for a 2 night stay is a bit ridiculous. Serious rip off for basic rooms with mould and marks throughout the room.
Trams and main road right outside the hotel so you can hear everything even with windows closed....hard to get much sleep.
No shops or bars within a 15 min walk of the hotel so will need to get taxi or tram to city centre which is 15 mins away.
- Tom (10/5): An excellent place to rest your head - I must say I thought the hotel had closed when I first arrived at the tram station. However, my fears were soon put at ease. I chose this hotel because it would provide me a reasonably priced place to sleep. The room ticked the boxes that I wanted; warm, comfortable and clean. This hotel is the perfect choice if you just want a place to rest your head for an evening.
- Bryan (6/5): - The hotel staff were lovely but there were lots of wear and tear in the room and there’s nothing around the hotel unless you get the tram
- james (8/5): Perfectly ok - Adequate for a night’s stay. Noisy because trams go right by the hotel. Secondary double glazing helps but I was on ground floor so feel the rumble.
- Michael (8/5): - For a place to stay and have a hot shower it was fine. They did seem to be airing the place constantly and the air freshener in the room was a little overpowering . Didn't stay in the room too long and accept that isaccomodation only it was fine.
- 310anitaj (6/5): Weekend away for Ed Sheeran Concert - Clean Was not expensive this was reflected in the amenities but no complaints I have payed more and had worse did what it said on the tin. Good tram service from the hotel to town. Staff friendly and helpful when we asked advice on how to get to the Etihad.
- Hattie (4/5): Very tired and not clean - The hotel was ok for a brief overnight stay but - the walls and skirting board were really dirty, as was the carpet, The bathroom was very damp-smelling and the shower head was broken so very difficult to wash my hair easily - there was no hairdryer in the room as advertines. The room smelled faintly of cigarettes and the corridors didn't smell at all nice - damp and unaired. Not the hotel's fault but it's right next to a tramline and also the blinds in the room aren't great and don't block out light from street lamps so didn't get a good nights' sleep.
Disappointing as I've stayed in Trivelles hotels before which have been better.
- Stephen (8/5): Unusual access - Pleasant staff, good room - once I'd worked out how to get in. You have to phone them when you're outside to get them to let you in for check-in as they're on a main road.
- simon (8/5): - Very helpful staff. Hotel was clean and tidy
- Kevin (4/5): Basic accommodation in Salford. - Daughter lives in Salford so we decided to stay close to where she is.
We would have been better off paying a little more and staying closer to Manchester city centre as that's where we spent most of the time.
Our tram fares would probably have covered the additional costs of staying closer to the city centre.
- Christine (10/5): Good stop over. - Hotel was clean and welcoming. From outside did not look inviting but inside was fresh, cool and staff were very nice. Room was adequate. Great value for money.
- Boothy (8/5): Ok hotel just for a night - Stayed for 1 night the room was clean and ok for just a stay over only problem I had was the noise from the trams and the lighting from outer building shining in the room it was like sleeping in the day ....
- Dee (6/5): - Conditions at Trivelles Hotel in reality is not as indicated on the internet;
- Rooms are not sound proof as mentioned
- Proximity to the main Eccles New Road makes it very noisy and disturbing from sounds of vehicles and trains.
- lack of structural safety from likelihood of a vehicle loosing control and diving into the building.
- Ruth (6/5): Great lasg minute booking - I did a last minute booking for my friend and it went just so smoothly. Very flexible andvfriendly staff.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very small and basic. They also charged if you wanted your room cleaned ind re-stocked in-between the 2 nights . This should have been included. No door bell on front door so difficult to access.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not luxurious, but clean and sufficient. - I was in Manchester for a competition nearby.
I needed a bed for the night, and a shower in the morning.
I checked in at reception with a very friendly and helpful staff member. He offered a choice of rooms in different locations within the building, for my own convenience, and asked a little about a my competition.
My single room was quite small, with a Bed, bedside table, lamp, TV, towel, small rail for clothes to hang, tea-making facilities and bathroom with toilet & shower. The bed was sufficiently comfortable, the bathroom was clean although the shower floor had a crack and was letting water seep through on to the floor beneath.
It's basic, but pretty much every I needed was available. Sachets of shampoo and shower gel were provided, although a hair dryer wasn't provided (perhaps I could have collected one from reception - I didn't check).
- William (4/5): Rubbish - The room was filthy and absolutely freezing couldn't sleep through the night because of a cold no heating on in the morning
- Verified traveler (6/5): If you get it cheap, it should be okay. - It was new year so maybe it's different other times, but I only saw one member of staff in two days at check-in.
No big gripes as it was quite cheap, but there's nothing much to recommend either.
Positives: warm, quiet and right next to a tram stop. Fridge and microwave in room.
Negatives: shabby, soulless and poorly maintained.
- Chris (8/5): Good place to stay - It was close to Tram and bus stops. Close to old trafford. Only thing wrong was single room was very small for price paid
- arnie (6/5): not the best ! - having stayed at this hotel many times I have seen a slow deterioration of the place, on 7/12/17 I went to place some fruit in the fridge only to find someone old cheese sandwiches and a mouldy McDonalds burger already in there !!.. there was also people smoking in the hotel which was obvious by the smell which was quite strong. The manager seemed little interested just sat on the sofa on his phone, he just say ' oh sorry about that ' ... I am not a snob by any means but I am very dissapointed...
- Gerrard (8/5): My Stay at Travelles Hotal Salford - Small Basic and Clean Hotel, its does the Job. The Reception staff were friendly and helpfull I was happy with my room it had a TV, Free Wifi, Mini fringe and kettle. The Hotel has a carpark around the back. There is also a Tramline that goes along Eccles New Road. The Area is fairley industrial and I got Taxis everywhere. I would stay there again.
- S (6/5): - Comfortable room. Just wanted a bed for a night. Cheapest room I could find. The area was very quiet. A little out the way but the tram line is just outside.
- Alf (6/5): Manchester stopover - I was generally happy with the hotel except the cleanliness, or lack of it in the shower cubicle. Hose and shower head. grouting needed a good domestos ing too. Other than that I was happy with the room.
- Andy (2/5): 1 star above sleeping in your car or a bus shelter - Tiny, dirty room, right next to tramlines so very noisy, paper thin walls, cracked bathroom sink, tiny single bed, dried blood(?) on the walls.
I know this site is supposed to be cheap but the hotels offered should be suitable for paying guests.
This place is like a halfway house for people who've just left prison!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice place right next to tram station so easy travel into Manchester centre, room was clean and tidy everything expected and am happy with stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - For the price it was ok. My main issue was it is situated right next to the main tram line and they run all night making it difficult to sleep.
- BB (6/5): Fine for an overnight stay - Needed accommodation in that area for just one night and this fitted the bill perfectly adequately. No frills but perfectly ok for my needs. Right by the tram stop with direct links to Media City and the centre of Manchester. Comfortable bed and a decent shower.
- Shirley (10/5): - Was a great hotel would stay again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rooms are not cleaned daily and that means no tea bags and no toiletries. i wouldn't be booking here again
- Humber (8/5): Good value - This hotel is very good value for money and has a good car park and public transport.
- Michael Scott (10/5): Basic hotel - A cheap hotel that's good to get your head down for a night's sleep and that's it. The room was small, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was unacceptably dirty there was a large amount of mildew in the shower and there was a noticeable amount of dust around the sink area.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Ridiculous service. - Lazy staffs, most of time the reception is empty Because staff is busy on his personal phone. I don’t know what kind of hotel was that !? Bed sheets were not cleaned, I could see some marks. I asked the staffs several times to turn the heater on, I was still sleeping in cold most of the nights. when it’s on, the room became overheated, no matter how I adjust it. WiFi was not as good as the reviews said. The hotel is very close to weaste tram stop, but it can be noisy at night times. Overall very uncomfortable staying.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice enough for the price, very clean - Wanted cheap and cheerful so although condition of carpet/walls wernt the best, the room was very clean and very good shower. Room too warm but i supose this couldnt be helped. Was everything we expected so overall pleased and would recomend to anyone wanted a cheap place to stay.
- K (2/5): Very poor. Very disappointed. - Email received that said no need to call to confirm so assumed all was fine. On day we were running late due to work and travelling down from Newcastle. Poor weather. Got call off hotel saying what time i would arrive. I said I'd try to be there before 11pm. Man said OK. On way down son got hungry so stopped to get some food and called the hotel to let them know I'm on way. Man said he wouldn't be there as it would be after 11. I pleaded with him to stay untili arrived. Once we got there the room light didn't work. He replied he can give me a refund!!! At 11.30pm!!. I had to ask for another lamp for the room. Bed uncomfortable. Only one small towel given. Two pillows only. Very poor hotel.
- Matthew (6/5): - Easy to find, and managed to find a space in the car park without any problems. Friendly receptionist on front desk, and reasonably swift check in. Room served its purpose as a last minute low cost place to sleep for the night, however the bed was actually quite uncomfortable. Woke in the morning to have a shower, but there were no towels in the room, and reception was closed, so wasn't able to request any. The hotel is fine if you are on a tight budget, however probably worth spending a bit extra if you want a little more attention to detail.
- Ildi (8/5): Great for a few nights - Everything was excellent but the shower drain. It was blocked and the dirt, hair , etc. was flowing in the shower tray.
- margaret (10/5): Great value for money. Helpful and friendly staff. - Not a single complaint.second time we used this hotel this summer. Perfect to park the car and jump on a tram. 10 minute walk to Salford Quays and Lowery.
- Barry (10/5): A hotel for a work stopover - Kind and helpful staff, clean rooms with tea, coffee, water, fridge and microwave. Just the job
- Verified traveler (8/5): good value for money - Single room - basic but clean and excellent value for money. Shower water is very hot and doesnt cool at all. Free wifi & parking so would use again
- plumbs3 (8/5): bunk beds !! - ordered a double/ twin.. never thought I would get bunk beds !! .. now I'm 50 it was interesting. clean room, hotel is in the middle of nowhere.. felt more like a hostel.. but ok for money..
- Abdalhadi (10/5): High comfort great atmosphere - Very good
- Ed (10/5): Out of the way - If you want to travel by foot to a restaurant. You have a journey ahead of you unless you take the metro. There is a metro line just out front. Was not bothered by it. I would stay again.
- BEV (8/5): A bed for the night. - A no frills experience. But served it's purpose.
- Robert (10/5): Short break - Very nice little hotel with friendly staff and clean well kept rooms
- Simran Ali (10/5): very good stay - good
- mark (6/5): Cheap stay - No frills but secure n clean stay. Location close to metro n bus routes for easy central Manchester access
- Stevo (10/5): Perfect budget hotel! - I needed a hotel for one night after seeing The Courteeners at the Emirates cricket club, and this was the only hotel that wasn't offering extortionate prices. Saw the reviews and was a bit put off, but it does exactly what it says on the tin. Small comfortable room with en suite bathroom, ideal for one night stay. Close to the main road, but didn't notice the noise at all even with the window open. Staff were very helpful, and even brought me biscuits and a bottle of water after I checked in. It may appear to be out of the way, but Weaste tram stop is literally on the door step. If I needed a hotel again in the future, I would definitely recommend for one night. Just perfect. Oh, and it has a microwave and a fridge!
- melanie (8/5): Great - Lovely hotel clean and tidy would stay here again
- Verified traveler (6/5): - If you are travelling with car the location is good, free car park and close to the motorway junctions. There is also a metrolink stop nearby the hotel if you prefer to get the public transport to reach the city centre.
- Dawn (8/5): Overnight stop - Not the ritz but did the job for an overnight stop. Receptionist was excellent, gave me a choice of 4 rooms. Bed was comfy, slept like a log!
- Grace (4/5): - The cleanliness especially of the bathroom was terrible. The shower cubicle is so small that it makes very uncomfortable to bath
- terri (6/5): Budget hotel - Adequate for our needs, friendly staff, shame about tram noise
- Ryan (10/5): - Top notch, friendly, tidy, you had your freedom with the key card to enter and leave as you wished whenever which was quite good considering we weren't arriving back until around 5am on the Sunday. Overall, great little hotel. Good price, if needed i would definitely book this again
- Paul (8/5): Comfortable but noisy - This was a simple and practical night stop and part of a long journey.
