I was unable to open the window in the bathroom as it was inaccessible and there was no fan either to get rid of steam from showers or odour. The water from thetap in the sink hits the outlet directly with the result I was splashed all over and had to chance my clothes.

We were so comfortable. * Beds super comfy, room decor modern and beautifully fitted out. * Room facilities: TV, Mini-Fridge (wonderful), Fridge stocked for breakfast with Fresh bottled OJ, Fresh milk and bottled Water. Tea / Coffee making area consisting of Nespresso Pods & Machine, Kettle, Tea Bags, Sugar, Muesli. Continental Breakfast consisted of Fresh fruit salad, Fruit Yoghurts, Sliced Salmon & Brie with Fresh Brown Bread/Croissants delivered to your door each morning. We were WoW'd by the breakfast and to top it off and fruit bowl consisting of apples, satsumas, plumb, bananas, pear. Guests should keep in mind that items may only be available seasonally. * An early check in was available and much appreciated. * Staff were so very friendly, helpful and professional. * Our room was situated in the Mews and was very comfortable. * The en suite bathroom had a great shower, lovely towels, hand soap and conditioner and shower gel & shampoo/conditioner. * Secure off street Parking is available on a first arrival basis * Anyone travelling in EV can charge their car at the SuperValu which is a few minutes drive down the road. * The Restaurant Food was Excellent and we ate there on both evenings of our stay. Highly recommended and I would recommend booking your table when you book your accommodation as it is very popular. * The location is well placed to tour the local and surrounding areas and there is plenty of site seeing close by to visit. * There are plenty of beautiful beaches to visit. There was nothing we didn't like

• Heidi (9/5): A nice place to stay but was expensive in comparison to other places we stayed on our trip around Kerry. - Our room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable with great touches including the shampoo bars and coffee machine and games table. Good secure parking off road too. We chose this place because of the food reviews. However the food was disappointing with breakfast being below average and full of sugary food including juice, yogurt and pastries and the only healthy option was the granola which had walnuts in so I couldn’t eat it. Some of the lovely local soda bread would have been nicer. Dinner in the restaurant didn’t meet our expectation, maybe because it was a Sunday evening ? The staff were very slow and portions small and expensive.

• Clement (10/5): - First time I have stayed here. A real find. A bit quirky but overall excellent. Rooms come with fridge which vontained some fresh smoked salmon and Brie plus ol and water. Also breakfast is a very good DIY with granola and yogurts provided plus croissants and French pastries, jams etc. Also the hotel has a brilliant restaurant which you have to book as the locals know about it too. The car park can be a little tight and the stairs no lift would challenge the infirm. Overall a fabulous good value place

A perfect overnight stopover whilst on the Atlantic Way road trip. Room was very comfortable and well designed. The restaurant is extremely busy, with limited seating. The “front of house” arrangements could be better organised. However, the traditional style food was outstanding. Compliments to the chef!

• Jeff (10/5): Exceptional - A spacious room with comfy beds and a great shower. Plus there's a restaurant! But the best part is that breakfast is already in the room, and it's a good breakfast. Well, everything for breakfast is there except for some pastries... which the pastry fairy comes along and hangs outside your door sometime in the night. So you can have your breakfast whenever you want it, in the privacy of your own room. Nice!

• David (10/5): Spacious rooms - Spacious rooms with a fantastic restaurant on the main floor. Definitely would recommend staying here if you need a stay on the Ring of Kerry

It was a group booking for 13 people and whilst I understand the ‘light touch’ approach to such accommodations and pre arrival information is sought before arrival, and room and gate access codes provided before arrival, the result of this is a HUGE number of emails which irritated me. And now I get another to provide feedback…Could be greatly reduced by differentiating between group and individual bookings.
