Ian (8/5): A relaxing stay that could have been improved had there been balcony furniture available. - Walking to the hotel involved an uphill slope which,having some mobility problems I found difficult. However the walk to the beachfront was very relaxing as it took us through a very pleasant park and was mainly flat. The room was an excellent size but as I paid extra for a balcony I was dismayed to find there were no balcony chairs and I found the excuse that they were being re-furbished unacceptable when I could see from the outside that some balconies, on patently unused, rooms were properly equipped. One of the sofas in the bar area had been slashed or simply torn and looked out of keeping for a Hilton hotel. As mentioned above - no chairs on the balcony so very little point in my paying for such a room
rockchik (2/5): Don't stay here if you like your sleep. Nightclub over the road. - There's a late bar/nightclub over the road. It was open to 3am. The music reverberated though the mattress it was that loud. We didn't sleep. The family Interconnecting room. It ruined our weekend. We were all so tired the next day we didn't enjoy the day. The only thing you're looking for really with a hotel is good quality bed/bedding and a good nights sleep. Not helped by the staff pretending they know nothing about the nightclub. It's got a trading license. Took me 3 minutes to find it online and know what trading hours they have permission for. Here's some of the excuses from the staff: - we don't know when they are open and closed - we didn't think it would be open tonight. That's why we didn't tell you about it when you checked in - I can't call then to see what time they close. They don't listen to us. If closes soon. Like 12:30am (when I called reception at midnight)
Maritza (10/5): Couple ❤️ - We loved everything. the receptionist was very friendly upon our arrival a very friendly Italian girl. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. the location of the hotel as such is spectacular.
Adrian_COLCHESTER (6/5): Great room but not an entirely relaxing experience - Positives: We had a great room with commanding views over central Bournemouth. The promised sea view was rather distant, but visible. Very nice swimming pool on site. So, quite a few positive elements to our stay, but there were also some negatives. These were mainly anything involving current staff of which there were too few. Areas for Improvement: Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning was quite stressful. It was not just that the restaurant was busy, but that there were guests who were clearly drunk at 9 o'clock in the morning who were being served more beer and forming a barrier to the restaurant. Once inside, despite the egg cook doing his best to meet the demand for omelettes, the breakfast choices were quite limited with no muesli or porridge. Added to this, there was one working but very slow coffee machine which was totally inadequate for the numbers. Staff did their best, but had insufficient resource. Communication was sometimes a problem. In our booking we asked for one bed with two single duvets. This had not been arranged and so we sent a note to reception via the app. The result was that we ended up with a total of four double duvets. Similarly on Monday we returned to our room at around 4pm to discover it had not been serviced. We mentioned this to reception and the reply was - 'you want your room serviced today?' This seemed to be a strange question and I could only reply that it had been serviced on other days. Eventually somebody from housekeeping was dispatched to service our room, but they insisted that they could not enter our room while anyone was in it. So we were banned from our room or balcony for the next twenty minutes. I can understand the rationale for this - to protect staff- but I have stayed in many hotels for many years and it was the first time I have ever been put to this inconvenience. Finally, it may be useful to note that the car park is up a steep hill with steps and no direct access to the hotel. It could prove problematic for someone with limited mobility although passengers can be dropped off and collected at the hotel entrance. If the weather is wet you need a coat or umbrella.
pitsonair (2/5): No sea view, no sleep due to rave music till 2am from club opposite. - The sea view rooms are not sea views. City view with sea on horizon in far distance at best. Not on floor 4 anyway. Balcony overlooks very busy noisy main road. Hotel is 1/4 of a mile from sea.Large Suite nice but musky smell. No furniture to sit on balcony with. What’s the point of a balcony? Was told balcony furniture being restored. The very worse thing is the nightclub across the road that played rave music till gone 2am. Heavy base. Windows not sound proof. Awful nights sleep. Went down for breakfast at 9am. 19 people queueing ahead of us. Very best thing about this hotel is Kian Cross in the restaurant who is professional, gave excellent service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. He’s an asset to your company. Breakfast was good. Hotel addressed all our concerns well and good service was given by reception. Thank you. However we were there for one nights R&R for a celebration and it did not meet expectations of a Sea View Balcony room without a sea view or a chair to sit on and no sleep because of rave music till 2am.

Jo (7/5): The bedrooms and reception staff were great. I think there are just a few issues with the restaurant team. - The rooms were very spacious, quiet and beds very comfy! The reception staff allowed us to check in early as our room was ready - they were very helpful. The chef & waiting staff were having a loud disagreement, across the serving counter - for everyone at breakfast to hear at 8.30am! Then at Saturday lunchtime, the waiting staff in the restaurant initially weren’t sure if they were serving lunch at 1.30?! Then it took a very long time to take our order.

Stephen (7/5): A good stay in general but with a few little issues - It is very central to where we want to go in Bournemouth and a very very very nice location The room was very stuffy the aircon wasn’t working that well the staff did bring a fan up for us but with no window opening we find it very dry and uncomfortable at night and just one very little thing this is our third stay here and I must say why has the bar never got any mint for the cocktails as I said this is very little issue but it is an issue some description.

Staff need to reconsider their approach and customer service as unwelcoming in their approach - reception and spa. We just felt like an inconvenience. Kian ( breakfast) and our maid were the only people to treat us to a smile and welcome - Thank you !! We were surprised to have to pay a £50 per night room deposit as this was not mentioned on booking. Breakfast was disappointing and is much better at the Hampton next door The changing rooms in the spa look tired and need a good clean! Our room was nice enough but the twin beds were noisy with the slightest movement. We had one complimentary packet of cheap custard creams between 2 of us. The shower ( over bath) was disappointing and the head kept falling down. There were no complimentary cotton pads, ear buds etc. The lifts have a mind of their own and don’t necessarily go to the floor you requested without a journey up and down to a few other floors Would we stay again…. No! This was a treat stay away for 2 friends but was not value for money and we could get similar for cheaper nearby.

And made our stay short - Was close to everything which was really handy, and was a lovely size room, All the moths in our room. Was not expecting to wake up to over 10 moth in our towels bed. James (7/5): A good stay in a lovely hotel but would definitely insist on a room on the other side of the hotel. - Stylish design, great room and great facilities, great breakfast too. Unfortunately, there was a outdoor club across the road from the hotel that played loud music and kept us awake until 1:50am!
Gary (6/5): Nice modern hotel but I wouldn’t go back. - The location and view, the staff, the space and very stylish. In the room which was on the seventh floor is showing signs of wear with some of the furniture worn and damaged,the bed was not comfortable.The shower was useless and every morning of our three night stay was a mere dribble and barely usable. The evening meal in the restaurant was very poor and so we only used it once.The breakfast was chaotic with minimum staff,uncleared tables and cold cooked breakfast with missing items and low quality.The buffet breakfast selection however was very good.Only one self service coffee machine which was very slow and always a long queue which was very inconvenient. The hotel was busy with daily conference groups and so we rarely got a seat in the bar / lounge which was a shame.

Bedroom furniture quite worn I.e bed and chest of drawers. Dust in the bathroom underneath the sink and on the shower. No dressing gowns and slippers provided.

147scif (10/5): Olivia is the kindest - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our best stay yet — thank you Olivia and the whole team! We've just checked out of the Hilton Bournemouth — this was our fourth visit and without doubt the best one yet. We had to sit on the terrace and write this before we even left! We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and Olivia at the front desk made it truly unforgettable. She made sure everything we'd pre-arranged was properly confirmed, but then went so much further — giving us a beautiful room, complimentary drinks, and a late checkout of two hours rather than the usual one. And when we got to our room there was a birthday card and a gorgeous box of fudge waiting for us. She really didn't have to do any of that, and it's exactly those personal touches that set this stay apart. The hotel itself was brilliant — the food was lovely, we used the pool and spa, and had a wonderful pampering session in the room together. Our dog was made to feel just as welcome as we were! We also made the most of everything Bournemouth has to offer — a beautiful beach walk where we spotted some ponies, Italian for lunch, a special seafood dinner at a local restaurant to celebrate the birthday, shopping, virtual darts, mini golf, and a few well-deserved cocktails! Thank you to everyone at the Hilton Bournemouth, and especially Olivia — we'll absolutely be back for a fifth time! 🐾🎂

Hotel lacks the extra little touches to make your st - Central location close to shops restaurants and beach, large comfy beds, black out blinds, quiet room and large full power hairdryer in the room. Breakfast very basic, would expect more choice and healthier options. The hotel lacks that extra touch - No vanity packs in the bathroom, would expect some cotton wool and cotton buds in this standard of hotel. Also would expect slippers and bathrobes, small things to make out stay more comfortable

Nice gym, pool and sauna. Great choice for breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. Pillows were so soft both myself and my husband did not sleep that well and got stiff necks. Dinner was a little disappointing with a very tough rump steak that wasn’t cheap!
Claire (6/5): A lovely hotel - A spacious room for 3. Good to have pool with steam room and sauna, and a gym. Great location between the gardens and town and the beach. The air con was broken and despite requests, nothing was done to fix it. We were very hot throughout especially at night that it made us uncomfortable. The etiquette at the pool needs monitoring. A useful swim lane needs to be avoided by children unless they are swimming. The bubble pool needs to be warmer.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely valued and appreciated for my loyalty. I was absolutely delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful junior suite, which exceeded all expectations—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. It made the stay feel extra special. What really set this visit apart, though, was how wonderfully dog-friendly the hotel is. My dog was treated like a VIP guest in his own right, complete with a comfortable bed and a water bowl waiting in the room. It’s rare to see such thoughtful touches, and it made traveling with my pet completely stress-free. Overall, this was a fantastic stay with exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to both fellow Diamond members and anyone traveling with their furry companions.

From the moment I arrived, both Edward and Dave went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care truly set them apart. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They anticipated my needs before I even had to ask and handled every request with efficiency and a warm, friendly attitude. What really stood out was their personal touch. They did not just provide great service. They made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Whether it was offering thoughtful recommendations, checking in to ensure everything was perfect, or simply greeting me with a smile, they consistently made the experience feel special. Room was very spacious but we did pay for a super king room. Bar and spa were great. Requested bath and told by reception we had one but room didn’t have one. The shower floor looked absolutely filthy so this really should be changed as expect more from Hilton.

The pool is very dark & you cant see very well under the water. The room was okay , big king size bed & very comfortable. Breakfast wasn't great, sausages, bacon , beans , hash browns & fried eggs. Parking is up the road at NCP car park. Only one lift for everyone, and the sky 8 bar was closed. Won't be staying again , very disappointed for the cost of £166 on booking.com.
