• annemieke (8/5): Goed hotel met een goede ligging - Prima hotel met alles erop en eraan. Goed restaurant, behulpzaam personeel, mooi zwembad, comfortabele bedden, goede douch en een goede ligging. Door de ligging bet buiten het centrum is het er ‘s avond rustig. In 20 minuten loop je naar beneden naar het het centrum Kandy. Terug kun je makkelijk lopen maar je kunt ook een tuktuk nemen voor een euro. Het ontbijt was echt fantastisch en vooral de egg hoppers zijn aan te raden!
• tilak f (9/5): Super clean place with super friendly staff - The staff were super friendly. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The room was also very clean, tidy and comfortable. Not a speck of dust anywhere. All the necessary toiletries were there. A microwave and other facilities were available. The lighting was sufficient. There were many pantry cupboards, drawers and a wardrobe. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. There was security for my vehicle. The access to the location was not hard. We requested an iron and promptly it was provided. The staff really respect you and assist you in all the possible ways. All your requests are proptly met with. Thank you all the staff Although we booked the room for five, there were only four mugs, four half a litre water bottles and bedding for four people. A chair in the room and a clothes rack would have been useful. The pool had some broken tiles and the ladder leading to it was shaky. The water in the pool was not pure. There was sand at the bottom of it. The food was not worth the money as it was given on a limited menu after paying Rs 1 50 000/= for five people for two nights. Yet, food was without many harmful chemicals like mSG, and was tasty. And they served it with due respect and consideration.

We booked a family room that was exceptionally clean and spacious, providing more than enough room for all of us, along with excellent in-room facilities.Our kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and made full use of the hotel’s amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our family felt welcome from the moment we arrived.The highlight of our stay was the beautiful scenery—waking up to the views of the Kandy mountain range and the Dalada Maligawa was truly special. We also enjoyed a very good breakfast with plenty of delicious options to start our day. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort and stunning views in Kandy!"

We also enjoyed the Glow Package massage at Laama Wellness and Spa, which was a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely friendly and supportive throughout our stay. We had breakfast on both days and dinner from the Alahakart menu, and the food was delicious as well. The pool area and the view were also really beautiful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

• Dirk (6/5): - Rooftop pool was clean and cool with beautiful views. Service was attentive and helpful. Coffee was tasty. Room looked out over a building site, Road noise was disturbing, breakfast was fair, some maintenance issues had not been addressed. There was no attendant at the rooftop pool.
• McFadden (9/5): - I booked full board by mistake, usually favour finding my own spots to eat, but glad I did. The food was excellent, great western dishes with a sri lankan twist, and I requested some sri lankan food, chef obliged. The location is up a hill, 20 min walk or a 1 euro tuk tuk ride, so it's nice and quiet for a good night's sleep, harder to get in the middle of town. I did dome tours and back for dinner and lunch, which you can enjoy by their infinity pool, luxury. As for some comments about leafs in pool or worn carpets, if this is important to you, might I suggest this part of the world may not be for you, and book into your local sterile hotel chain instead. The hotel is lovely, and the staff are charming and helpful. The cheese burger, but silly me for ordering it, plenty at home.

Evening meal service was shocking. As we were not on half board waiter over an hour for a chicken dish and soup, we were the only ones in the restaurant to start! Everyone else who arrived after us served first. Not impressed

En ook de massage is een aanrader! Sommige tegels van het zwembad waren weg/los. De gym bestaat alleen uit 2 loopbanden, en de deur om daar weer weg te kunnen heeft geen klink. Als de puntjes op de i strak getrokken zouden worden, is dit hotel echt fantastische!

They had made an arrangement for us to stay at their sister hotel the Golden Crown hotel. Which was apparently an upgrade but was much further from city centre. Unfortunately even though we had been corresponding directly with hotel they failed to let us know in advance of arrival that our room was unavailable

Мы сообщили, что приедем после полуночи и он радушно встретил нас в позднее время, а на следущий день по запросу организовал завтрак (даже была курица!). На завтрак нам не предложили кофе/чай, но мы попросили и нам все оперативно принесли.

• Aino (10/5): Amazing service and mouth-watering food! - This hotel was marketed as 4 star hotel but was more 5 star when it comes to warm service, setting, cleanliness and especially the mouth-watering food we were able to enjoy both during breakfast and dinner. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and it was served very professionally including beautiful decorations and 5 star service. We also were able to encounter monkeys from our balcony where we stayed inside as advised but saw them play on the balcony which kids loved. The room was huge and provided great views. Sadly the weather was bad so we were only able to swim in the pool the day we were leaving the hotel. Highly recommended! Maybe there could have been some items in the minibar but this was not an issue as they provided everything upon request.

• Zoys11 (8/5): Comfortable in Kandy - Staff were lovely and overall the hotel met our needs for two nights. The room was comfortable, house keeping and reception staff were excellent and the roof top pool and bar area was lovely and relaxing. We had a vehicle and even though parking is limited, security was helpful in reserving a spot for us. Some aspects of the hotel like the carpeting felt tired and worn. Also, while the room was very clean I felt the bathroom needed a bit more of a deeper clean. Also the pool side washrooms and showers weren't very clean and smelt funny.

Es gab ausreichend heißes Wasser und einen guten Wasserdruck Ein paar Mini Stellen im Badezimmer wurden schon länger nicht geputzt, der Wasserhahn war kaputt.

Everyone, whether in the restaurant or at the reception, was always super friendly and helpful. The food was great, including special vegetarian dishes that we enjoyed two nights in a row. La habitación tiene buen tamaño y una cama muy cómoda, el baño también está genial y tiene un pequeño balcón para secar la ropa. La piscina del piso de arriba es un pequeño oasis que nos encantó para última hora de la tarde. La ubicación está genial, en 15 minutos andando estás en el centro de la ciudad y si no te apetece andar en 5 minutos en tuktuk. La piscina podía estar más limpia y no había nadie atendiendo el bar.

La piscine sur le toit était agréable, le personnel était bienveillant, et les chambres étaient bien équipées. Les lits étaient confortables aussi. L'hôtel se trouve dans une zone escarpée, qui est donc difficile d'accès sans voiture. La nuit, il fait donc froid si on va dans la piscine.

Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. Great place to stay!

Der Ausblick auf das heruntergekommene Grundstück daneben auch aus dem Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt und ungepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, jedoch fehlt ein Verständnis für Service. Das Frühstück kein Highlight, sonst ist das Essen nicht wirklich genießbar, Besteck schmutzig. Das Gym besteht aus 2 Laufbändern, das war’s. Aber sie funktionieren.
