• Annett (10/5): Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Freundlich, hilfsbereit, mit vielen Details eingerichtete Unterkunft die unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat! Die großzügig gestaltete Unterkunft, der sehr saubere Pool, die zentrale Lage hat uns besonders begeistert. Erwähnenswert ist der Kühlschrank der zur Verfügung steht und die zusätzlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Damit kann man auch in der Unterkunft frühstücken oder Ähnliches. Eine Bushaltestelle legt in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Касательно владельцев - просто потрясающая семья, которая с трепетом относится к каждому своему гостю и пытается всячески угодить в пожеланиях. Иногда вечерами сидели с ними в холле и общались просто на разные темы.

• Wendy (8/5): Loved the space, the staff were great and reasonably price. - The villa was great for a group, not far from the beach and restaurants. The pool was amazing and the family were beautiful. The place was near a railway and not far from the station so in the mornings when the trains came though the bells going off were a bit annoying.

We would come back. - We were at the Avon villa after we arrived after a long trip and we rested there to recover from the journey. The place was very well located and well run. Nearly like Western standards. We noticed Hadjid and his wife really do appreciate their activity and are very helpful and efficient. Wifi was perfect. the room was perfect. Water pressure can be inequal and more than often on the low side. Something to look at but not a show stopper.

• David (10/5): Ideal place in Hikkaduwa - Ajith and his family have made us feel at home. A luxury! The facilities, the pool and the location just a step away from the beach and the entire restaurant area. We will return! We loved everything!
• Graham (10/5): Exceptional - The location is within a few mins walking to the beach and about 10 /15 mins walk to Turtle beach where you can see turtles from 7 till 9am and 4 till 6pm. Its also so near to the railway track to see the trains go by and all the restaurants and bars plus take a tuk tuk to the tsunami museum and turtle hachery. The family were extremely pleasant, left you to your own devises and helped when needed. The room was spacious, clean, lovely balconey and a communial area just outside room to sit and read in the evenings. Pool was fantastic and breakfast so delicious too. This has been our favourite stay so far and we have been in Sri Lanka for 4 weeks now. Nothing.
• Viji (10/5): Amazing stay, perfect location, clean rooms - Avon villa is centrally situated in the Hikkaduwa , very closer to the Hikkaduwa turtle beach,shops, restaurants . The room is very comfy and very clean and fantastic pool . Good breakfast . Lovely Rice & Curry for dinner . The owners are most welcoming, and they will help you in any way they can , making us feel right at home. :) We will be back again as we felt it home from home. Nothing to complaint.

• Sharon (9/5): Nice room with pool - The room and pool are very nice. And the owners are really friendly. It is a bit further from all the restaurant, but still walkable or a short tuktuk ride.
• Azaria (9/5): Kind hosts and a nice pool - Very kind hosts. Nice room with everything we needed. Beautiful pool, lit up at night and we usually had it to ourselves. Very close to the main street so was easy to get back in the evening. Very good value :)
• Julian (6/5): Nice room and close to the beach but noisy overnight - Great shower, decent balcony and pool with comfortable loungers. Handy to walk to the beach and local restaurants Not the owners fault but it was very noisy which disrupted our sleep both nights. The train line is very close and very loud starting about 4am . The nights we stayed there was very loud music until 2am from nearby properties.

• Robin (1/5): Very dirty and mouldy - the pool was nice, the location was good The room has mould on the wall in the kitchenette. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, there were cobwebs everywhere. They didn't provide any of the basics such as a mosquito net, water, a spoon, tea bags, shampoo. One of the owners let themselves into my room whilst I was out to turn off the air con. They never cleaned the room or offered fresh towels in the 3 days we stayed there.

• Kevin (8/5): Very good - The place was very nice and the host is friendly. Also good place for money The host charged the Booking.com commison from us. So the amount was a little higher than the Booking.com amount and I consider it unprofessional. But it's a very slight problem.

• Souchet (10/5): Exceptional - Very good place, 5mn from the train station, beach, super market, atm. Quiet, confortable, clean and safe. And there is a very nice swimming pool. Staff is also very friendly.
• Lakmal (10/5): Exceptional - All is good , service is very nice and also owner is so welcoming . location wise its very good. There is no drinking water even inside the room, no tea coffee facilities inside the room as well.
