- Rachel (9/5): Gardin oasis in the middle of the city - Everything at Rossco is great. It's in a great location, very close to shops, the markets and the old town. The staff are lovely and helpful and the room is very clean. We had a private king bed room with lots of space, a very comfortable bed and great shower with lots of pressure and hot water. The wifi works fantastically and there are lots of places to relax in the garden and escape the bustle of the city. Highly recommend if you're looking for something budget but quiet and comfortable.

- Coralie (5/5): Basic hostel that needs upgrading - Patio is nice, staff is very friendly Location is good Water temperature and pressure from the showers is good Kitchen basic but functional Wasn’t an expensive stay, but… Private room with basic hostel facilities: *mattress was run down: felt like sleeping on the bed slats but feeling the metal springs, covered by thick plastic protection on the mattress which made noise when moving *not noise-proof: could literally follow the conversation from the neighbors, and hear them snore and sneeze + could hear all the noises from the street *room not super clean: some hairs, lots of dust, sand/tiny stones on pillows from ceiling *towels very old: towels provided had holes and tiny stains that couldn’t be washed out anymore *wifi not always working properly (even for just phone use) *wanted to use the hammocks but these are in a closed dusty area where it’s super hot

- Michael (9/5): - Loved our room, we booked a double but I think we were upgraded to a family room which was very spacious on the upper floor, even had a balcony and hammock. MASSIVE comfy bed, decent wifi, very hot shower. Spacious kitchen with basic utensils, stovetop, microwave and water refills. Nice garden/courtyard space with a fountain and fire pit. Great location - short walk to the main square, supermarket and markets nearby, colectivo to San Juan Chamula. Very quiet at night. Friendly staff and an adorable cat and dog. Extended our stay because we liked it so much! Only minor issue was the shower drain could be smelly at times and the water pressure was poor - it was more like a mister.

- Quijada (10/5): Accesible a todo - El hotel es muy lindo, muy cerca del centro y diversas atracciones, la cama muy cómoda y la habitación espaciosa, además que puedes usar la cocina para hacer algo rápido, tiene estacionamiento adentro lo cual es bueno La limpieza del baño era buena en general, pero note mucho cabello en ciertas partes de la loza y eso no fue agradable

Le service laverie n'est vraiment pas cher et il y a même un billard 😊 La vaisselle qui serait peut-être à changer. Elle n'était pas toujours très propre car mal lavée par les utilisateurs. La partie lavée par le personnel de ménage était quant à elle très propre (sols, frigo, plans de travail...)

It's slightly outside of the centre but for us that wasn't a problem

- Karina (1/5): - No me gustó nada pésimo lugar Pésimo servicio, tienen mascotas dentro del lugar y un lomito tenía su camita al lado de la puerta de la estancia, cuando llegue guardaron mis pertenencias antes del check-in o eso creí, era la habitación asignada salí y dije que no me quedaría ya que no creí tuvieran mascotas y mi nieto sufre alergias pregunté y burlonamente el recepcionista me dijo que no se aceptan mascotas de clientes pero ellos tienen gatos y perros, no existe chimenea como lo anuncian la peor experiencia, no lo recomiendo me cobraron las dos noches y no dure ahí ni una hora.

- Molly (10/5): - We loved the energy of the space, lots of outdoor space with a lovely fire in the evenings. Friendly people and great comfy rooms that have just want you need. Cheap laundry service, relaxing staff, nice pool table. We were there with our little one who’s 7 years old, and he was super safe and comfortable in all communal areas at all times. We loved it here and would definitely come back!

- Selser (9/5): ¡Excelente! - El alojamiento esta muy bien equipado: tiene cocina con todos los utensilios, nevera, mesas, aceite, sal y agua para cocinar. Hay lavandería disponible por un precio razonable. Su planta superior cuenta con un gran espacio para colgar ropa al aire libre pero inteligentemente hay ubicado un techo de chapa blanca que permite la entrada de la luz y evita que se moje en caso de lluvia o rocío. Cuenta con sala de estar con TV con Apps, mesa de billar, juegos de mesa y todas las noches se enciende una fogata. Varios baños disponibles con ducha de agua caliente. Hay servicio de limpieza todos los días y recepción las 24 hs. Las sábanas y frazadas de la cama para dos personas son ligeramente más grandes por lo que puede resultar algo incómodo a la hora de administrar los espacios a los lados.

- Daniel (10/5): Atención - Me encantó la actitud del personal, son muy atentos, instalaciones bien conservadas y el plus se nota en la buena ubicación Sería mejor tener una televisión en el cuarto, ya que se llena rápido la sala de estar, y no hay privacidad, aparte de que el alojamiento de estudiantes hace que se mantengan trastes sucios y no poder usarlos

- TING (9/5): Beyond my expectation, feels comfortable at home. - The public area is spacious with a nice garden , kitchen you can make easy quick breakfast and a terrace for laundry place, the room is spacious, the shower water is hot and one of the most comfortable in the hostels I stays in Mexico within a month. Staffs are super hospitable and always willing to help. Location: Though 18-20 minutes walk from the Ado and colectivo bus station, but the place is within 10 minutes walk to the main cathedral and quite close to Maya weaver museum, local market and big super market in town, and a few minutes walk to the colectivo bus station to villages of Chamula and Zinacantán. Will definitely to come back if visiting San Cristobal again. The room is a bit of dark in the day time, but not big deal.

- Abigail (8/5): Nice staff, nice place - Large room with nice hot shower. Good location near the Santo Domingo Church. Everywhere was walkable. Appreciated the free water and access to a kitchen. Nice areas to sit outside. Lovely, helpful staff. Did a great job on my laundry - smelled lovely. Would have been good if they'd also folded it because it was quite creased. My room smelt quite musty but I got used to it so no problem. The bedroom had no form of heating, so was pretty chilly on cold days. The bed was big but too soft for me really. The Wifi is an open network and requires a username and password. When it works it's great, but i had to do a lot of restarting and reentering each day because it didn't always remember my devices. If they start the washing early then the spin of the washing machine will wake you up. I would have liked some proper mugs in the kitchen rather than just plastic cups, and needs more cutlery, but I always managed to find what i needed.

- Jazita (9/5): Como en casa - Una estancia muy placentera, el personal muy amable, tienen servicio de lavandería y también dejan que usen la cocina y eso está genial, puedes sentirte como eb casa, las habitaciones muy limpias y ordenadas...los baños fueron compartidos y estaban algo sucios pero entendemos que no fue culpa del personal y en cuanto lo reportamos rapidísimo hicieron el aseo. Recomiendo ampliamente el hotel, en excelente lugar y muy bonito también 👍 El perro, un poco enojon pero no muerde, solo me dio miedo

Todos los espacios son acogedores, las camas muy cómodas con sus tomacorrientes para cargar el celular. Tienen hasta una sala con TV, y un lugar de fogata para disfrutar la noche. Y está muy cerca del mercado y el centro. Por momentos se siente más ambiente de hotel que de hostel, por lo que si prefieres un lugar de solo backpackers, tal vez no es el lugar ideal. Pero es solo un pequeño detalle, el lugar es de 10.
