• JENNIFER (10/5): - Very nice little motel, close to everything, but off the main drag. Would visit and stay here again.
• Clare (8/5): - Room looked and smelled fresh a bit spartan; Bed (soft) and bedding nice. Kitchenette - seemed all the basics were there (utensils/settings for 4, a sauce and several fry pans). Table for 2; 3 max. Only suggestion: bathtub/shower - not sparkly clean (bathtub sides, wall). Sh. curtain too long - I pulled it partially up onto the side - accid. causing water on floor. Used bathmat to wipe it up, bathmat showed that floor was quite dirty. (Nice new floors look clean but apparently aren't mopped.) Sugg: curved curtain rod, shorter curtain, caulked/sealed trim work at tub/floor seam, or fixed glass panel - sealed to tub rim - for the front portion of the shower. More (matching) towel racks - over-door rack adequate but cheesy and people are likely to forget things hung there.
• Charisse (10/5): - we had a pleasant stay here in Lake Luzerne, it was just was we needed when we visited Lake George for the Car show. its clean, quiet and you feel safe.
• LISA (10/5): - Nice size room with stove top, roomy refridge with plates, glasses, silverware, plus more to cook with! I was very satisfied with my room & beds, table, chairs. It was a little dark as far as lighting, but I had plenty of light where I needed it. The area was very well maintained. I had a little trouble finding the driveway at night, but might be my eyesight.
• Emma (10/5): - I read many reviews before going to this motel&ALL the positive ones written were true! Guest occupancy was minimal during my stay so I was spoiled by the peaceful ambiance. Eager to return next year or even during certain winter months if it is open.

Hot water was an issue a couple of times, which was a bit of a burden because there was no hot water one of the days and we had to get ready for a wedding. My one big suggestion would be to get rid of the table that has the microwave on it and put a 4 drawer dresser instead. The microwave can sit on top of that and it would allow people to be able to unpack. The room sleeps 4 people so having 1 drawer per person would have been helpful instead of having to live out of our bags for almost a week. We enjoyed our time in the area and would definitely stay there again.

Pool area was messy, cushions dirty, debris not removed from water, there was actually something swimming in it, toys not removed from pool. Chairs outside of rooms dirty. Shower curtains had mold on them in the folds, obviously never opened to clean. Entire room felt wet.

• Martin (8/5): - We stayed 2 nights. It was clean and comfortable. It smelled like cigarettes when we first got there but it got better once we aired it out. The people were nice and the pool was also good.
• Jaclyn (8/5): - Love that the motel is right next to ice cream and mini golf! Had a lot of fun in the pool, and love the fire pits and landscaping around the area. Beds and bathroom was clean but the room floors seemed a little sticky. The beds were soft and comfortable.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Beautiful outside, not beautiful inside - Big front yard, with picnic table and fire pits under big trees, we enjoyed a lot. 15 minutes driving to Lake George, not bad. We booked a room with kitchen. We stayed from Monday to Saturday. The floor is dirty; one of two stoves is broken(owner provided a potable stove to use, but it's not easy to use); the fridge under the sink is broken, but we were not notified. There is another small refrigerator available in the room. The fry pans are poorly used and should be updated long time ago, it is not healthy to continue to use them. Luckily, we brought our own.

• Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Room was musty smelling, even with the door open for over an hour the must smell didn’t go away. The floor in front of the refrigerator was soft. Not sure if the floor is rotting hence the must smell? The linens were clean and bed was comfortable. The shower head could be updated; poor water flow, and I didn’t dare go barefoot in the shower; floor looked dirty but shower walls were clean. I had a problem with a very loud neighbor, called the manager and he took care of the situation. I don’t think I’d stay there again.
• Aaron (10/5): Lovely Family Owned Motel - We really enjoyed our stay here. It was just for one night as we traveled up the east coast from Montreal, but we could tell that the owners are putting a lot of work into fixing up the place. Everything was meticulously cleaned, most things like shower/toilet/bed/tv/fridge/microwave/etc. seemed quite new. Would highly recommend as a terrific affordable option to stay in the area (also, probably a lot more affordable and pleasant than staying in nearby Lake George.)

It's been a long time since I've stayed in a motel setting, this location stuck out to me not only for the price, but the location and overwhelmingly positive reviews! The young woman who checked us in was very sweet and friendly, making small talk with my partner and I and welcoming us for our stay. When we entered the room, it was so bright and sweet! Everything was clean and smelled like fresh linens, the AC was ready and running before we even got in (which was very nice since it was scorching outside.) The linens were very cute, everything was cabin themed with bears, green and brown colors, stain free, and smelled fresh. The bathroom was amazing with a spotless stand-up shower, toilet, and sink. The towels were very nice and everything was so well kept and organized. The mini-fridge and single cup coffee maker, and tv were a huge plus! There was a helpful instruction sheet for check out (which was so easy it took me off guard.) All you do is put the 'service room' sign on the door knob, leave your key on the little hook in the room, make sure the door is locked and you can be on your way! Though we didn't have enough time to use the pool located just outside the rooms, it was so clean and clear! There is a little circle of chairs around an in-ground fire pit near by and everything really sold the 'outdoor camp' vibes. My partner and I will be coming back :)

• Joseph (10/5): Old style motor lodge - Nice 1950-60s motor lodge with a pool. Not fancy but clean and everything was working. Small fridge, microwave. A couple chairs out front. Just what you would expect in a woody, lake environment.

We were the only ones there, so it was a little hard to get needed supplies. I would have liked more coffee pods, but there was no one in the office. We were there on a Monday, though, so it was completely understandable. We will be back!

• Craig (10/5): lovely motel - This is a well run and lovingly cared for roadside motel. Apart from not having ice cube trays or an ice machine, everything was terrific. A vest was left in the room and they tried to contact us before we left the area. As we missed the message, they generously offered to mail the vest to our home.
• Jane (10/5): - This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed here. While we obviously enjoyed it enough the first time to rebook it this year, it has clearly been freshened up and was just lovely. Pool was still open. Fire pit. Grill. Room looked to be freshly painted and everything was just spic and span. Fridge, microwave and ceiling fan (very important to me) all included. Don’t miss this gem in the Adirondacks for a very reasonable rate.

The pool looked very clean but I didn’t get a chance to swim. The rooms were clean and looked exactly as pictured. I highly recommend staying here.

Parking right by door was convenient, and access to 9 and Lake George right at motel. Luke-warm, to cold shower, there was no hot water at night or in the morning. Blanket (really just an coverlet) and sheets were very thin, although cute. It would have been much more cozy and pleasant with thicker sheets and an actual blanket/comforter. Walls are a little thin, was woken up by late arrival and early departure of neighbor.

Soft sheets as well. They have definitely put a lot of time and money into the place. No hesitation to recommend this spot.

Nick and Sarah were both super helpful whether it was things around the motel or things to do in the area. I will be looking to book here whenever i stay in the Lake George area.
