• Trisha (10/5): Great vibe at VIBE - Perfect setting as a launch to the airport. Staff at reception were lovely. Amazing entrance foyer offering various seating, with Barista coffee options. Nice to sit while sorting out plans/emails/phone calls. At night, no problem having a later dinner as menu is available until 9pm, then relaxed by the fire with a 🍷 (bar closes 10pm). Our waiter was a delight, making my son feel very welcome, which was lovely to see. Menu could do with a little revamp. Rigatoni was top notch, but Souvlaki was disappointing.

• Max (8/5): The helpful staff and convenient location make this airport hotel a smooth and comfortable stay. - The staff at the Vibe Hotel have always been wonderful during my many stays at the Vibe. I find they are friendly and helpful in a relaxed and comfortable way. I would say I return to this hotel even when I don’t need the convenience of the airport location because of the staff. I also really enjoy the striking designg that gives the space a unique, almost theatrical feel. They do a good buffet breakfast. I don’t understand the differences in the rooms. I have been given ‘upgrades’ and the room doesn’t seem any different to one I had previously stayed in. It feels unclear, and a tiny bit misleading.

It has a bar and dining area that close quite late which is good for travellers arriving quite late. The hotel is beautiful structurally. There were blood stains on sheets and the carpet had stains. The toilet had urine stains on the floor. The room was covered in dust and not properly cleaned. The service at the dining area particularly the buffet was below standard and the food did not taste nice. Overall, the buffet was nothing to ride home about. This hotel could benefit from a more thorough clean

• Aaron (7/5): Nice hotel, convenient to airport, but not as comfortable as in the past - aircon needs attention! - We’ve stayed at the Vibe for years, every time we travel interstate, as it’s so close to the airport and convenient. Hotel has a contemporary feel and the rooms are clean, mostly comfortable and fairly well equipped, bathrooms are nice, and overnight parking is reasonably priced (if the carpark isn’t full). Helix Bar is really nice, but quite pricey. Stressful to check-in, as there’s never anywhere to park near reception, the “hotel only” outside carpark is always full of non-guests charging their EVs and other cars parked there for long periods. The rooms are always very hot whenever we check in, as the curtains are left open letting afternoon sun in, and the aircon wasn’t working properly again (as with our previous stay a week earlier - must be the same in all rooms?) and failed to cool the room down all night. Because of the aircon not working and the room feeling hot we had to open the curtains to let cold come through the window glass - but this reduced our privacy, and the lights from the airport kept us awake all night. Limited room service menu is nowhere near as good as it used to be, and very expensive, we ordered DoorDash instead. Beds in the “double” rooms are very firm.
