Guest Reviews
- Jael (8/5): The place was nice ans clean with a good size ans location but the heating was on from all day on a quite hot day. - Good size and location! The heating wast turned on on a day when temperatures were quite high and because we arrived late evening even after turning the thermostat off it didn’t seem to cool down until next day.
- Nikola (10/5): Excellent stay, great weather and end of ski season. Couldn't ask for more - Basically, everything. Clean, cozy and well-stuffed apartment. The vicinity of parking as well as the bus station (free shuttle - Library/Museum bus stop).
The price was great too.
Pretty much met or exceeded the expectations.
Highly recommended There's nothing not to like 🙂 The apartment is great.
- Karen (3/5): Whistler was fantastic, the accommodation wasn’t so great - Presented well Aircon didn’t work, dishwasher didn’t work, no access to the Jacuzzi, and no staff on site. It also wasn’t our first choice of accommodation, we were moved to a different site out of town.
- Paul (9/5): Wonderful stay, great location. -
- Jacky (7/5): - Ability to self-catering in an excellent location. Washing machine and dishwasher were good additions. Far too hot and you couldn't leave windows open at night because of road and nightlife noise.
Place was very dated in decor and the Tv had no instructions.
- Kimura Yoo (9/5): Location was super good and the key code system is very easy to use. -
- Katharina (10/5): -
- William (8/5): The perfect spot, close to lifts, market and great restaurants - Great location, really beautiful outdoor space, comfortable bed (unit 72). Good kitchen.
- Veronica (10/5): Soggiorno piacevolissimo - Appartamento super confortevole, letto comodissimo, posizione ottima Tutto perfetto
- BCFan (8/5): My daughter said it's lovely and my boy said he didn't know. I said the cleanness is everywhere. - Cleanness is everywhere!!! Great value for the money! It's conveniently located near the village and has everything you need for light daily cooking. My daughter found it lovely, though my son was unsure. However, the sofa bed is outdated and uncomfortable, causing you to roll toward the middle unless you stay on the edge. The hair dryer and washing machine are old and noisy, and the TV is small for the room size, with a complicated remote that's hard to navigate if you press the wrong button. Check-out is at 10 AM, but check-in isn’t until 4 PM, so despite paying for a full day, you only get 18 hours of use. Overall, the place is nice and clean, but the electronics and sofa bed need timely updates.
- Siva (1/5): - Very nice location Furniture very very old, degraded and very bad condition
- Joanne (8/5): Parking is easy, location was great, had everything needed in the unit - After I turned on the bathroom fan, I was unable to shut it off for the rest of my time there. No screens on windows, so I was either suffocating from the heat inside, or getting bitten by mosquitos & other bugs
- Christopher (10/5): Lovely vintage style cabin - Lovely vintage style property with nice retro Sony sound system .beds were comfortable and lots of space has lovely surroundings Nothing really
- Carrie (7/5): Good -
- Alistair (10/5): Fab time for whole family - Good location
- Isaac (10/5): Exceptional - The location, wasnt too far away from the village and although a little bit difficult AT first, it was a beautiful home with the most welcome feeling. I absolutely loved the little welcome note on the counter. Such a beautiful place for either 1 or 2 people. It was difficult to find AT first.
- Jean (6/5): Pleasant -
- Johnston (9/5): Convenient, clean and good kitchen and living areas - Clean, close to ski hill and village. Dishwasher lower tray would drop down with a bang every time you pulled out the tray. The sofa bed was not comfortable. Small tv.
- Joseph (9/5): Always a good time at Whistler -
- Blair (8/5): Very good -
- Cheryl (7/5): Great place just a little dated and could use a better clean. we loved it and would return. - Loved the sweet the layout everything was great. Property is dated pots and pans were dirty silverware kitchen could use a scrub and the place in general could use a better cleaning.
- Rhona (8/5): Very good - Location, cleanliness and equipment. No instructions on how to get WiFi . Never managed to get tv to work.
- Jorge (7/5): Good - The wash machine and the dry machine. The localization It has just one bed, not two beds as it put in the explanation of the apartment
- Mary (9/5): A wonderful get away with my husband. Beautiful area. - Location and the feeling of being at home. No instructions on how to work the TV. The network given was not available. The weather was very warm and no A/C
- Neil (8/5): Well located Whistler apartment - Property was well located, near Village North & within easy walking distance of the lifts at the base of Whistler mountain.
Had free underground parking, reasonably well stocked kitchen and complimentary washing and dishwasher tablets. A generator for the complex was situated directly outside the property, which was fairly noisy.
- Mark (10/5): We will come again for sure!!! - We love staying at the Lagoons!!! The location is amazing. The condo was perfect. No air conditioning!!!
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zanden (8/5): Very good - The location was outstanding! Only a few minutes walk from restaurants, shops and the Whistler Village.
- Tristan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Beth (3/5): The condo location was fantastic but the condo itself was shabby and falling apart. - The location of the condo was perfect, and the space was good for my family. The condo was shabby and falling apart, many lights were broken, the door knob was broken and there was mold in the showers. The kitchen cabinets were all falling apart and the furniture was peeling or broken.
- Wai (4/5): Tired apartment close to whistler village. Expensive for a very run down 80s apartment. - The location was pretty central and a stones throw from the village restaurants and shops. The shuttle bus was across the main road which was nice if you were carrying heavy ski gear.
The layout of the apartment was good and unit 16 was close to the underground parking door.
There was a cordless dyson. So I was able to vacuum the floors before getting settled in. The apartment had a great layout but was not very clean. The entryway/mudroom. Had alot of Grit and gravel on the floor, and the carpets were stained and there were alot of splatter on the walls throughout the apartment that was not wiped off. The kitchen was fully kitted with enough pots and pains and plates and even a smoothie maker but was lacking a kettle.
The bathrooms were pretty gross. Black mold all around the shower and the shower door. The bath tub had jets which clearly has not been cleaned in a very long time. You can see brown residue on them which means that you wouldn't take a bath when you are there. We were specifically looking for a apartment with a bath tub so that our young kids could bath at night. But that did not happen. The plumbing was really bad. The toilet blocked pretty much every time anyone used it. There was a gross plunger next to each toliet for reference. And the sink did not drain for a very long time.
Coming to the bedrooms. There was plenty of storage space for clothes and the rooms itself was comfortable but the bed mattresses were anything but comfortable. They were very thin and springy. Perhaps 6-8 inches max. Which made for very uncomfortable nights sleep. Pillows were fine.
The hot tub outside was old but a nice touch. But the water was pretty gross and lots of floating bits but the saving grace was it was heavily colrinated
About 30 after reaching home. I get a call from the hotel asking me whether we took a couch cushion. I was a little flabbergasted that anyone would even consider asking especially that the cushions were firstly ugly and dirty. I hope they will not be charging me for this missing cushion
- Martin (8/5): Good accom for two people slightly crowded for 3 but close to every thing - self catered, close to ski bus, village and super market with the fold out bed in the lounge takes up the whole room and no additonal space to socialize.
- Carolline (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (6/5): Pleasant - Kitchen, bedroom and dining room are nice. Prob best location in the whole community. Near 2 bus stops. Sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. It sinks at the middle section, which gives a bad back everyday for the 2 weeks of our stay.
We didn't have enough of toilet paper (given 2+ rolls for 2 weeks) and laundry tablets (3 tablets for 2 weeks). We requested to have extra roll but got rejected; with the price we are paying, we are not deserved for an extra roll of toilet paper? We feel absurb. We ended up buying half a dozen for the last 4 days.
- James (8/5): A good, functional option in a good location - Location is good - can walk into town very easily
The number 4 bus is a free shuttle which collects you nearly outside your door and drops you off near the whistler village gondola / fitzsimmons / excalibur.
Bedroom was a good size
Pull out sofa bed was fine.
Bathroom was nice
Kitchen adequately stocked with equipment
Onsite, free, underground gated parking
Wifi was fine No problems
- Jaeger (10/5): Great stay will come back - Lots of room, good kitchen, washer/dryer, location was perfect Sofa bed not very comfortable, dishwasher is hard to open all the way,
- Andra (10/5): Very comfortable 2 bedroom condo with private hot tub - Our family of 2 adults + 2 teenagers had a very comfortable stay at Stoney Creek - Lagoons unit 14: it's rare to find a two bedroom with 2 comfortable queen beds in Whistler Village. The unit had a extra sleeper sofa in the living room, but we did not need it. I liked the individual temperature adjustments for every room, it helped with comfortable sleep. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated and modern, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with everything one might need. This is an owner condo, and the TLC was obvious from the owner and the management company Whistler Premier. The unit was sparkly clean, with enough towels etc provided. There was a laundry washer and dryer in unit, but we did not use it. The private hot tub was the most pleasant surprise after a day of skiing! The location of the condo is great, right across from the supermarket and a few nice restaurants and cafes, about 14 mins village stroll to the Gondola. A free ski shuttle stops reliably close by, if needed, and the schedule is posted in the unit. We actually preferred this quiet location to other village locations, and we plan to come back. Free underground parking was included, and it was easy to park. We liked everything!
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Specious rooms. Complete facilities. Lobby hotline was helpful. Location was near the whistler village. They even called us about forgetting to leqve the garage key so we returned it in 15min. Minor stuff
1) tight entrance
2) the lamp in the bunker room did not work. The switch was broken. I hope you will get this repaired
- Isabella (10/5): Comfortable and cosy stay in Whistler Village. Living, dining and full kitchen a big plus! - Easy self check-in. Spacious with dining and living areas with full kitchen set up. Messages prior to check in were set using Vacasa links that didn’t work through booking.com
- Katie (9/5): Superb -
- Nur (9/5): Vacation at Whistler - Apt was quite spacey for everyone. Reception not at the compound, hence we need to drag pur luggages to be stored at other compound. Even that, could not store large luggages.
- Raphael (9/5): Superb - Very good location, excellent kitchen equipment, very friendly communication
- Ashleigh (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Leanne (8/5): Very good - Location and setting I thought we had booked a hot tub
- Anonymous (10/5): Had fun, highly recommended if they keep the prices as it is. I paid 350cad for 2 nights for 3 adults 1 kid - Awesome location Nothing actually
- Coral (10/5): Well provisioned place that was really clean - Good for village accessibility !!! Nothing
- Peter (8/5): All good except for lack of communication about keys - We were not emailed or texted in advance that keys were to be collected at a different location from the accommodation
- Linda (6/5): The accommodations were clean and the location is great, moments from the village. - The instructions could have Been a little more clear about how to enter the garage and how to unload our vehicle. Not clear instructions about entering and using the garage. The bed is quite hard yet bouncey. The fridge makes strange noises, but worked ok. The location is great for walking to/through the village. But is also on a walking path that is frequented - not only by daytime passersby, but also the rowdy young adults around 1 or 2 in the morning.
- Tuesday (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nichole (9/5): Superb -
- Nmrp (9/5): Early check out but very good place. - The apartment was very clean, it was cozy and comfortable. Great location. Check out its a pain, garage FOB could be left inside the apartment instead. The time is to check out is too early as well, 10am to be out but 4pm the earliest to enter...
Overall the place is really good, but for some reason Amazon called at 8am while we were there waking us up. The day we were leaving we found 10am early to pack and leave the place tidy.
I would recommend it and come back though, just being picky and honest about cons.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stefan (7/5): Good -
- Veronique (7/5): Good - Location was great The shower made a high-pitched noise when you started it.
There were 2 long stains on the carpet in front of the sofa
- Cheung (5/5): I think I wont stay in Lagoons and wont recommend to others. - Location is good, quiet and close to the Whistler Village The check-in experience was bad... I communicated with the front desk that the reception prior to departure that it should be nearby but at the end it was a bit far away from the apartment and not easy to find the ways by a first time traveller to Canada. After almost 30 mins in the call with the customer services on the 1st day, back and forth with different staff, I finally got the answer that the checkin procedures can be completed at the reception close to my apartment. When my family member finally entered the apartment which was almost an hour later, they then found out the toilet in the master bedroom was plugged!
- Margaret (7/5): Comfortable and staff very polite!! - InThe picture it showed a bathtub. That is the reason I booked it. The staff were not able to change our accommodations. There is a difference between a bathtub and a shower. The picture it showed a bathtub. That is the reason I booked it. The staff were not able to change our accommodations. There is a difference between a bathtub and a shower. ItWas in a very dark area but it really didn’t matter this time because it was raining anyways. Also it wasn’t a bathtub in the picture showed it was and that was extremely disappointing.
- Paula (9/5): Superb - location checking in process
- Wenxiang (8/5): Very good -
- Rashita (8/5): Very good - Overall it’s good and is closer to Whistler village For the check in it was really far from the property and we didn’t have a car and my parents find it really hard to walk with luggage. Also, the sofa bed was not comfortable.
- Larry (8/5): Great location and condo but far to many emails and text messages related to stay. -

- Sonia (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing - The location of the apartment Picking up/dropping off keys was in a different location to the accommodation, this should be mentioned prior to booking. A big inconvenience when you don't have a car.
Very basic kitchen supplies with low budget kitchenware.
The property is very dated and old and needs a lot of maintenance and updating.
- Stephannie (9/5): Superb -
- Nickie (9/5): Superb -
- Eileen (9/5): well priced condo that was well apportioned for a week long stay - comfortable bed, just close enough to walk to gondola, fireplace was nice after day on slopes, washer/dryer worked well, well stocked kitchen and lots of towels. check in not at same location as property. could use a little updating, right front burner on stove did not work
