Guest Reviews
- PhC646 (10/5): The best option - Previously I have stayed at both the Mercure and the B.Western.
Both were grim.
This spotlessly clean small hotel was a far better experience. We had a nice room on the river, one of the better restaurant options is 2 minutes away. Free parking on the road facing the hotel meant returning the rental car at FCO was easy.
Giovanna the owner is welcoming she has a relationship with a taxi company. Also provided is a free breakfast starting at 7am.
I will definitely choose this option next time.
- Stephen (10/5): - Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Very enjoyable. Great close to the airport. I would recommend to stay close to the airport.
- Amit (10/5): - Very nice place. Clean, big, and with many restaurants in the areas. Daniela made us feel like home.
- Michel (10/5): - Everything was great. Staff very nice and helpful
- Carol (8/5): - This was the perfect stay for an early morning flight from Rome FCO. We arrived late evening and were very happy to see an abundance of fun and delicious eateries working walking distance!
- Kimberly (10/5): - Loved this boutique hotel. Staff were fabulous, friendly and very helpful. Room was well appointed. Only issue was hot water pressure was not great but managed to work with it.
The area had several dining options. I wish we could have stayed longer!
- Richard (10/5): - Clean room and overly friendly staff.
- Phyllis (10/5): - We found this gem last minute when we decided to head to Rome a day early due to a planned train strike. Daniela was warm and welcoming from the minute booked the room. ¹. We were so happy we did! We had a beautiful walk along the water, enjoyed excellent food, and poked ariund the shops. Daniela even arranged transpiration to the airport, which is only.
Thank you! We enjoyed ŕ b
- jrech01 (10/5): Fantastico! - Delightful small hotel on the waterfront in Fiumicino, a short distance from FCO Rome airport. Very clean room, balcony with sunset view, great coffee and breakfast! Lots of restaurants on the surrounding waterfront. Owner personally ensures quality of experience and our only regret is not being able to stay longer than one night! Recommend highly!
- Dan (10/5): - 10 minutes from the Rome airport… Wonderful location with a choice of many restaurants. Daniella was a perfect host with help getting a transfer early in the morning to the airport. I must stay if you’re traveling near the airport.
- Jean-Guy (10/5): - Excellent pour 2 ou deux nuitées avant un vol de FCO...
Le service est excellent et que dire de la chambre nommée LINA avec sotn double balcon,,,
Super situé à 5 minutes en taxi de l'aéroport
- Cynthia (10/5): - We loved our rooms, the location, the staff!
- Bailey (10/5): - We stayed 1 night at this hotel so that we were close to the airport. The lady working at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. She provided a homemade breakfast in the morning including a fresh loaf and tart. We were also able to store our luggage at the hotel after check out which was convenient.
- Deborah (10/5): - Clean, well located, friendly staff
- Carlos (10/5): - Very quaint and perfect with proximity to FCO. Nice restaurants nearby. Very clean and wonderful attentive staff. Would definitely stay again.
- Stephanie (10/5): Perfect place for early morning flight - Great location in Fiumicino, close to good restaurants, and close to the airport!
- John (10/5): - The lady who ran this B&B was super sweet and made sure that everything was taken care of! We stayed in a room that overlooked the main road, and was filled with beautiful nightlife and was central to everywhere you wanted to be! Definitely book this place, it’s cheap and convenient!
- Troy (10/5): - Clean,safe,good AC.Breakfast very good.
- Teresa (10/5): - We loved Domus Lina!! What was originally booked as just a place to spend the night before an early morning flight, turned into one of our favorite stays! The woman who checked us in was lovely and the process was quick and seamless. She made arrangements to have a taxi waiting for us at 5:30 am to catch our flight. The property is beautiful and homey. The location is fabulous! We walked along the water and had our pick of so many great restaurants with outdoor seating. I have already recommended staying here to friends who are traveling into Rome in the future!
- Louis (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Khanh (10/5): - The Domus Lina hotel was an outstanding value--the place was clean, conveniently located to the airport with a bus stop close by, had a number of restaurants right outside, and was a relatively easy commute to the main subway station to get to other cities (e.g., Rome). The hotel was located right on a river. The staff (a lady) was incredibly nice and helpful. She prepared a delicious European-style breakfast every day. Overall, would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking for a convenient and affordable stay near the airport and a commute to Rome.
- Karen (10/5): Wonderful hotel! - Small hotel located near river in Fiumicino. Literally steps from many family restaurants and fishing boats on the river. Cabs Fumicino from airport are 20 euro. They pick up near hotel shut tails and are always available. Stay here the firs day of arrival or prior to departure…you won’t regret it.
Rooms are modest, but ours was comfortable with a small refrigerator.
- Natalia L (10/5): - Daniela was amazing at Front desk, place was great!! Amazing restaurants around and great sunset
- David (10/5): - The owners were very kind and helpful. The Hotel was very beautiful and clean.
- Marysha (8/5): - Nicely situated from airport
- Jennifer (10/5): - Personal service fromDaniela was great. Very helpful.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - I can’t say enough about this place. It was convenient. Close to everything and the staff was very kind and helpful. I wish i could have stayed longer.
- Cynthia (10/5): - What a gem! Great room, all amenities, in a charming area with restaurants and cafes. Domus Lina is my new hotel near the airport!
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Close to airport, in Fiumicino. It is an older property, well maintained,in the heart of town, close to a lively restaurant area. There is no shuttle, but a 25 euro (each way) taxi service can be arranged.
- Karen (10/5): - Domus Lina was a perfect place to spend the night before flying home from Fiumicino the next day.
Our room was spacious with a large bathroom and fancy shower, and we even had a balcony.
Our hostess was lovely and kindly arranged a taxi for us for the next morning.
The breakfast had lots of self-serve options and was very nice.
We would definitely stay there again!
- Mary (10/5): - We loved this stay before our early morning flight - the breakfast that we had here was a perfect snack before we head out!
- Misti (10/5): - The Lady at the desk always greeted us with a warm smile and even had a cab waiting for us the morning of our departure. Domus Lina is definitely older but quaint and has the best air conditioning of any place we stayed the entire trip. The 4 rating is because this is the only place during out 3 week stay in Greece/Italy that we felt like the locals did not want us there.
- Companion585201 (8/5): Hidden secret - If constant staff presence and opulent breakfast is your thing, don’t stay here. If a clean, well located, but private stay in modest accommodations is your thing, this is your place. First Fiumicino is Italy very close to the airport, not an airport hotel. The strip along the river is alive with restaurants. It is not geared towards tourists, but politely accommodates them. The hotel will give you a code, an the rest us for you. Beach clubs are a ten minute walk. I really enjoyed my stay.
- Ali (10/5): - Great service, private transportation to the airport is really convenient. The Lina suite is very nice! There’s not much to do in the surrounding area but it’s a very comfortable stay. No noise complaints here.
- Donna (10/5): - Clean, large room, excellent staff, great air conditioning, breakfast in the morning. Would stay again!
- Jaqueline Sue (6/5): - This was like a B&B not a hotel. No one at desk very long need Digital number to entry. Room over busy Resturant very noisy at night.
The lady who checked in me was very brisk and told me three times needed check out by 11:00 am.
Area around has many great resturants. Good overnight stay if flying out FCO Rome. It’s a busy area hotels and restaurants.
- Anthony (6/5): - just an ok place
- Catalino (10/5): - Room was perfectly clean, lady who helped was of great help we greatly appreciate all she did, even arranged a taxi for us to the airport on the day we checked out. Clean bathroom, beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Highly recommend, no complaints. Grazie mille!
- lauren (10/5): - We stayed the night before our flight home to the US. I was surprised by what a nice area it was. Great restaurants and a really lively location by the water.
- justine (10/5): Great hotel - Really nice hotel. Very nice location. Such sweet lady at front desk. Like 10 min from airport really convenient
- Germaine (10/5): - Grazie mucho for the Domus lina staff ,especially Signora Daniella ,she is so sweet and kind.
When i will go back to italie,i will not hesitate to use the same hotel.
Ciah
- Tasha (10/5): - Excellent hotel. Very clean, staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms are very spacious and our balcony was beautiful! The only concern about the area is that there is no reliable public transportation around. You will need to have a car to get to and from if you want to get to Roma. Other than that it’s a great beach town with lots of restaurants!
- Maria (10/5): - Great accommodations! Many restaurant options to choose from. Walkable. Staff was accommodating and helpful!
- Andrea (10/5): - We are so happy that we stayed here. The owner showed us our room, it was very clean. She also opened breakfast early because she knew that we had an early flight. My wife and I were amazed at that. We have recommended this hotel to our friends and family.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Personal touch - Very good breakfast, room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Owner helpful getting a taxi to the airport.
- Gil (10/5): - Very clean, nice breakfast. Great and helpful staff
- Lorena (10/5): - Our host was able to accommodate six females who had a canceled flight, leaving Rome. She was very accommodating, loving and very welcoming due to our situation. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel was extra clean, soft, beautiful, and exquisite.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful - Reception was warm and inviting! The location is fantastic. A beautiful and vibrant town.
- Arthur (10/5): - Excellent choice for people or families wishing to stay close to the airport for the night. The hotel arranged good price transport from and to the airport. The hotel and room were lovely and comfortable. The area is filled with nice and lively restaurants and a great place for strolling along the pier at sunset. The kind woman of the hotel went the extra mile to help us out of an issue as well. Unplanned jewel of our trip.
- Gary (10/5): - The owner offered and provided an early breakfast so I could eat before leaving for my flight home; that made my day! There are numerous restaurants nearby for and it was difficult to choose which one for dinner.
- REBECCA (10/5): - Loved being on a very nice street with a cafe and breakfast bar. Beside a canal and close to the airport. Manager was wonderful.
- Marion (8/5): - Perfect Stay prior to morning flight!
My husband and I were warmly welcomed by Daniela and had a fantastic night's sleep! In spite of being in the midst of several lively dining options, as well as near FCO, the room was very quiet and comfortable. We walked along the fishing docks, on the drawbridge over the river, and dined at Cielo, enjoying excellent meals--the freshest seafood ever! Lots of couples and families were enjoying the area which felt very safe. We even had a lovely balcony with a double swing to enjoy the evening breeze and the sights below. (Our only hesitation, is the step down from the bed area to the door and bath. This could be an issue for older adults with balance/fall concerns.) Taxi service to the airport was arranged by Daniela for the next morning following a very good breakfast with homemade baked goods. We'll definitely return! Thank you, Daniela! Marion & David
- Grace (10/5): - Beautiful! The hostess was lovely. It is a wonderful, unique hotel!
- Nick (10/5): - I spent only one night on the property and after a nice dinner in nearby restaurant I had a very solid and comfortable sleep and woke up in the morning very rested and ready to continue my trip.
- Gianfranco (10/5): - All around great spot!! Daniela was very helpful on everything . Will be coming back for sure
- Jon (10/5): Good location near airport. - A bit funky to get to. We came by taxi late at night, so had to pay a late check in fee, but it all worked fine. The room was nice, the A/C kept us cool although we were unable to adjust it. Nice bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was fine, standard European fare. They were very responsive when communicating prior to our trip.
- Larry (10/5): - Lots of dining options on the front step of the hotel. Highly recommend this location and the Domus Lina.
- Kathryn (10/5): - We stayed one night to catch an early morning flight at Fiumicino. It’s very close to the airport, so that was perfect. This is a jewel of a hotel, a really special place. It’s beautiful, clean, nice amenities, and very comfortable. I don’t smoke anymore, but if I did, I would have loved the little private balcony overlooking the area. Breakfast was perfect, and Daniela even came early so we could have coffee before our early flight. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.
- Khaled (10/5): - Very friendly, welcoming, simple, clean, efficient, safe, nice area and very good location.
- James (10/5): - Domus Lina is a hidden treasure. Absolutely perfect location, with incredible staff and very comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Very convenient: close to the airport (10 mins) and Ostia Antica, with so many restaurants to choose from right there. We parked at the EUR Magliana M (a 15 min drive) and took the Metro to see all the tourist spots in the city. Domus Lina is an excellent choice for the discerning traveller!
- Charles (10/5): - We didn’t have a car yet so no parking needed
- Alfred (8/5): - Lots of places to dine next to the area
- Tom (8/5): - Excellent staff, particularly Pallo at front desk and communication with Danielle. Convenient location for airport and dining. Ostia Antica nearby too. Toiletries are single use plastic packages. Using them generates a tremendous amount of plastic waste. Suggest use of large size containers for a more sustainable approach and probably save owner money too.
- Barbara (10/5): - Domus Lina is a hidden jam. Located within a 10 minute Taxi drive to either the airport or the train station. It was convenient with great restaurants around it and we totally enjoyed our stay.
- Scott (10/5): - Just a wonderful boutique hotel near the airport in Rome. Highly recommend
- Janet (10/5): - I wish we could've stayed another night because this was a really nice hotel. It was spotlessly clean and having a little balcony was a bonus. The staff was very helpful both when we were there and also ahead of time in arranging a taxi to bring us to the hotel from an hour away, then again in arranging a taxi for our trip to the airport in the morning. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I come to Rome.
- David (10/5): - Friendly staff. Close to the airport and the breakfast was good. Perfect spot for a layover.
- William (10/5): - Could not find anything to fault with our stay at Domas Lina. Highly recommend this hotel/bed & Breakfast
- waratip (10/5): - Wonder stay, we loved the place and area.
- Brendan (8/5): - There are a few steps getting to the lift which means if you have heavy luggage you meed to carry them to the lift. Also shower needs a curtain as water splashes everywhere no matter the water pressure. Everything else was good. Perfect restaurants just outside the hotel. Friendly reception and staff. Comfortable bed and clean.
- Cruzergirl576 (10/5): Unique, very quaint - We arrived at Domus Lina and were assisted quickly. Daniela was amazing, everything had so much character, not like generic hotels. It was also located near many restaurants, short walk to the beach over the bridge. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay near the airport
- Antonino (10/5): - Love the place. Friendly service, safe.
- Robert (10/5): - Perfect location near Fiumicino Airport!
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It was nice to have extras like a razor and toothbrush in addition to the usual items like shampoo.
The host and staff are WONDERFUL!
To easily find the hotel: from the main street (along the canal), it's just a few steps behind Follis restaurant, down a pedestrian-only street.
You will find great restaurants, all within walking distance.
Be sure to take a walk along the pier.
- DawnAlba (10/5): Perfect location near Fiumicino - Excellent location: 10 minutes from Fiumicino and 10 steps to the canal, which makes for a nice walk along the pier.
There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and gelaterias within walking distance.
The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.
It was nice to have little amenities like a toothbrush and razor.
Breakfast was perfect: pastries, cheeses, meats, fruits, and even pancakes.
From the main road, the hotel is just a few steps behind Folli Restaurant. Just walk down the pedestrian street between Folli and Sergio.
- ronnie (10/5): - Great place to stay for a layover in Rome. Close to the airport and many amazing seafood restaurants right outside by the fishing harbour
- Meaghan (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Domus Lina! It is easy to get to from the airport, has super comfortable beds and lovely staff! Tons of great restaurants in the area. We will stay here again next time we have a layover in Rome!
- John (10/5): - Outstanding service!
- James (10/5): - So lovely and quaint. Our hostess is wonderful, arranging transportation from port to here that was much cheaper than I found. It is a lively area, would like to have spent more time here. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. Gracie!
- Innocent (10/5): - Excellent service
- David (10/5): - The hostess was delightful, and incredibly helpful!
- Ralph (10/5): - Clean, good staff, surrounded by excellent restaurants. Half the price of the big hotels. They can arrange a taxi for you to go directly to the cruise ship port or airport. Breakfast is freshly baked and brewed!!!
- Kevin (10/5): - Slightly quirky and very pleasant. We stayed after arriving into Rome (FCO) which is very close, before heading to the cruise port the next day. €25 from FCO to hotel and €150 to cruise port. Very convenient. Bed was very firm (which was perfect and comfortable for me).
- Johannes (8/5): - Close to fco
- Francine (10/5): - Good location. Lots of waterfront restaurants very clean. Close to airport
- steven (6/5): - Liked that the room was very spacious and clean and well decorated. However, there was a small amount of mold in the corner of the shower that could have been scrubbed off with a toothbrush. Also, the shower door only covered half the tub and it was difficult to shower without getting water everywhere. we stayed here for one night because we had an early flight and thought it would be better to get a good nights sleep rather than get up so early and come from Rome. That turned out not to be the case. There's a green LED above the door that shines in your eye if you sleep on your left side. If you flip over to the right side there's a bright white LED on the A/C unit. It's like sleeping daylight. Then there were the fireworks that started at 11 p.m. and lasted about an hour. The only good thing about the fireworks is that their noise drowned out the street noise and loud pumping bass that was coming from the pub below our room. We were in Europe for 2 weeks. This was the least restful night's sleep we had there. Also, there's literally nothing to do in the town. If I were to do it all over again we would have just stayed over one more night in Rome, bit the bullet and got up super early and made the trip directly to the airport. It cost a fixed $55 Euros from Rome and they charge $25 Euros from the hotel to the airport.
- John (10/5): - Very helpful staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel. - Very nice and welcoming location. We were met at check in and shown to our rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our host arranged a taxi to the airport in the morning - worked great. A pleasant surprise was the amount and variety of food for breakfast.
- Catharine (10/5): - Surprised to find something so perfect to spend the night going in and out of the airport! I love a marina.
Very comfortable and clean!!!
- peter (10/5): - Great location. Cute place. Good breakfast. Easy trip to the airport.
- Marcus (10/5): - Very pleasant stay
- C. (8/5): - Lovely owners that are concerned for their guests having an enjoyable experience. Very convenient for a night before/after a long flight with its proximity to the airport
- bradbury (10/5): Domus Lina ..a great place to stay - We thoroughly enjoyed out trip and stay at Domus Lina 😃A little gem right in downtown Fumicino…close to shops and amenities.Service was outstanding and Daniella was a wonderful hostess providing a great breakfast and arranging our transportation to and from airport! We would definitely recommend to friends and return ourselves( if time and money allow) 😊
- Stacey (10/5): - Very nice.
- grahame (10/5): - Perfection.
- Patricia (10/5): Wonderful place and very sweet woman - My daughter and I had wonderful experience. It was charming, clean and felt like home. It was so close to the marina and beach along with many restaurants visit. I would stay there again. So easy to get to airport in the morning as only a 5 minute drive.
- John (10/5): - Go without hesitation! Everything about this hotel was perfect. The front desk staff went above and beyond every step of the way. Our room was spacious and very clean. There were dinner options within a one minute walk of the hotel. This is a lovely area along the river.
- Jonathan (10/5): - This hotel was lovely! We weren't sure what to expect, given that it was in a very residential part of town. We stayed there because we had a flight the next morning and it was near the airport. Its a bit out of the way, you have to take a cab from the train station or airport, but its only 10 minutes. It turned out to be a beautiful room, friendly, helpful staff, and a wonderful breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer!
- Joanne (10/5): - The location was outstanding. Good breakfast provided also. Check in was a breeze.
- William (10/5): - Charming small hotel near airport.
Great choices of restaurants just steps away.
Will set you up with ride to airport.
- Sherry (10/5): - Fantastic location!!! Perfect place to end our vacation. Beautiful place with everything you could possibly need. Our hostess kindly arranged our transportation back to the airport and easily changed it for us when our flight was delayed. Thank you we loved our stay.
