li tung hsiung (3/5): Complaint about room issue and service at Yashshree Mall Road hotel. - Nothing. Firstly we paid extra and upgraded our rooms, but we encountered a significant issue with the room that caused inconvenience, especially for our elderly parents. The toilet had no water supply, which made it difficult for us to use the facilities comfortably. The process of shifting rooms caused trouble for our elderly parents, who were already tired from traveling. We understand that occasionally issues can arise, but we hope that the hotel can take steps to ensure the room surely checked before assigning them to guests, especially those with special needs. Secondly, we were disappointed with the service. Despite requesting daily replenishment of tea and coffee packets, they were not refilling it during our stay. We hope that the hotel can improve its service .

My son was sick , so they helped in midnight to take him to hospital nearby and packed us BF on day of leaving. Bathroom were stinking...room we got through booking (double deluxe ) was very tiny..bed could not accomodate 2 adults plus kid...we had several other issues like MCB tripping continously, bathroom was stinking. So we had to finally upgrade room which was then comfortable.I think this is issue as the hotel is in mall road, which is busy area.

On realising the mistake, I contacted the property to make the changes - they bluntly demanded extra charges although booking amount is same. Imagine paying 3K Extra just because u forgot to add number of adults. And this booking was without any breakfast or addon. When the room capacity is of 3 person, why should one pay extra upto 3 persons. They completely harassed us and denied to return advance booking amount in case of cancellation. Too much greed in the administration.

Nirmal (10/5): Exceptional Staff - Exceptional staff! I have stayed in numerous places around the world, and these guys have some of the best staff on their roll. They were always listening, polite, and they reacted extremely fast. The hassle-free travel desk came in handy when we wanted to go sightseeing. The fact that only one keycard could be issued for a family room was a slight bummer. Even though the staff were ready to open the room for us anytime, it was still an inconvenience.

Schakravartibhowmick (8/5): Spacious room, great views and comfortable walk to the mall - I was travelling with my aged parents and chose this hotel because it was really close to the mall. We could walk up to the mall almost every evening quite comfortably. We upgraded to a room with a view and did not regret it. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast spread though not lavish, was quite filling. The morning black tea that we requested them to serve was excellent. The staff on hand always had a smile on their face and were attentive. The extended dining area overlooking the mountains is beautiful and the perfect place to start your day over a hot cup of Darjeeling tea. We will book this hotel if we travel to Darjeeling again.

Sharan (10/5): Best for Family - Just stayed for 3 nights with my family. We booked 2 rooms in reasonable price from booking. both of the rooms were fantastic. 1. Nice valley view from our room. 2. Super clean bathrooms. 3. Room service was excellent. They refilled room amenities timely. 4. Location is great. On the left, upward road goes to bhanu bhaban in 5mins and shortcut to mall chowrasta. On the right 5-7 mins Walking distance to Glenarys, Keventers, Clock Towert and mall market. Highly recommended for family travelers. My family loved this Hotel. The only problem was Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi connection was very poor in this hotel. Btw Wi-Fi problem is everywhere in Darjeeling.

Pooja (7/5): Comfortable stay in central Darjeeling. Offers good views and the food is really good. - Restaurant staff was amazing . Helpful and really sweet group. Bed linens were dirty and not changed from prior occupants when we checked in. There was hair all over the sheets. Although they did change it immediately after I reported it - I’m curious why it wasn’t changed in the first place as it’s greatly unhygienic.

Toufeeq (4/5): - The staff was very nice and friendly. The food in the restaurant was salty and not tasty. There was not enough heat in the cold room in the middle of winter. The space heater was just enough to provide some heat.The hot water geyser gave enough hot water just to wash your face and shave. Then you have to wait another 30-40 minutes to get the same amount of hot water. We could not a shower during our stay. The taxi provided by the hotel charged us a huge amount (INR 1600) for a short trip to a nearby tea garden.

John (6/5): the reception staff very kind , gentle, helpful. the restaurant staff very pleasant, kind , helpful, smiling. love them. - nothing exceptional. real ordinary. it has to be removed from the 4 star category. The personnel are 4 star but the hotel equipment is 3 star maximum. tv didn’t work, we tried to put it on without success. the night tables too low, not practical. the shower is really basic… nothing to hold soap, shampoo… have to leave it on the floor . the lighting in the toilet/ shower insufficient. I repeat: it’s too basic. simply can’t be rated four star
Goswami (1/5): Bad - Food Room No. 101 is full of bad smell. Can not go to toilet due to smell. No lock to close the toilet door from outside to get rid of bad smell. Bad maintenance

Sk (9/5): Good - The room we booked was amazing. Great breakfast....nice staff... totally enjoyed our stay. The room could've been a bit more spacious and it would've been better if it had a king size bed instead of queen size.
