- Lyth (9/5): Great hotel perfectly situated for Ewood park, yet quiet room - We've stayed here several times to attend a Star Wars function at Ewood Park. Its perfectly situated for us to walk across to the event. Rear facing rooms are very quiet, the pub is great and a decent menu with good breakfasts. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Comfy bed. Bathroom needs a bit of updating around the edges, grouting, caulking etc. I find the room quite dark ie the main lights are not very bright but nothing much to complain about its a decent room for a good price.
- Robbie (7/5): Great location for what we needed see you next year - Nice food next door in the Pub staff in the pub and the hotel very pleasant and helpful Nothing
- 538regp (6/5): Sack the cleaner - Very tired bedrooms & bathrooms
Common areas even worse
Needs a full refurb but also needs a damn good clean everywhere
Empty Pepsi bottle left on the floor in our bedroom
Cheap accommodation which is almost value for money
Breakfast OK

- Ian (5/5): Well located for Ewood Park and buses into Blackburn and Darwen - Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Well located for Ewood Park and buses into Blackburn and Darwen Room was in need of tlc, no handle for opening light, tap top missing and a very long wait for some warm water on Saturday morning
- Gareth (2/5): -
- Laura (1/5): Do not recommend - Close to event at football ground. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and dipped in the middle as though broken.
Extractor fan in bathroom did not turn off and was extremely loud all night.
Got no sleep due to the above all night.
Room was dirty, there was a piece of chewed chewing gum on the floor at the side of the bed.
No staff at all on a night or morning in the hotel/reception.
Dust and dirt everywhere on surfaces.
- carolyn (7/5): Good. - No issues, felt comfortable. The doors to other rooms banging shut, I know they're fire doors but a little padding or soft close doors would be appreciated. Better sound proofing from the door. Otherwise no issues.
- Lee (8/5): - Location was great for me.

- Stedon (5/5): Check to see if there's a match on if you're not there for the football: we didn't! - Hotel failed to inform us that they would be full to the rafters with football fans, so getting into the car park was horrendous as it was blocked off. There was no chance of us being able to eat in the restaurant as that was also full to bursting. There were no tables or even a place to stand and the bar was so crowded we gave up after a while. We were attending an event nearby and had to go there without having eaten and our plans for a meal, our event and then drinks back at the hotel bar were ruined.
We understand that the location of the hotel is wonderful for Ewood Park to watch the match, but we just feel that we should've been informed, so we could've made alternative plans.
- Gabrielle (8/5): The staff here are lovely. Really helpful and kind. Good value for money, location is quiet despite being near a road. - Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Food delivered to your room. Comfortable bed, nice size tv. Quiet. A little tired and dated

- Chris (6/5): Cheap for a reason but convenient for a one night stay 🤦♂️ - Location for my travel etc Had to seek staff for the tv remote, lack of communication regarding breakfast times etc and the bed had a huge dip in it where a whale has obviously parked its arse for some time!
- Gareth (7/5): - Dated Black grout in bath room
- Ellis (10/5): The perfect location if travelling for the football. - Friendliness of the staff especially the manager, allowed our friends to stay in their camper van on the car park, we all travelled to watch the Coventry v Blackburn game, great great night. There was literally nothing not to like, maybe the card machines breaking down last knockings.

- yvette (7/5): -
- Hazel (2/5): Appalling. No staff around and no way you contact anyone for help with issue - Overlooking car park and main road, v noisy. No heating working in room, very thin bedding, bed broken. Bathroom tap constantly dripping, toilet handle coming away from wall, altogether grubby Needed working central heating. Felt like being in and ice room trying to sleep on a concrete block
- missvivvy (10/5): Friends catch up - Great place o relax with friends
Come here couple of times a week and the staff go above and beyond
Nick the manager has changed things around for the better
- Martyn (5/5): - I loved how close it was to Ewood Park, as I was there for football. Very handy location I didn't like the fact that you had to press a button & type in a code to open doors around the hotel. It confused me. Annoying

- Dan (9/5): -
- Becky (7/5): - Location ideally what we wanted
- Alan (5/5): If you don't go expecting the Ritz, it's fine. - Pleasant staff, great location, ample parking. Room was tired, bed wasn't the comfiest, but it was fine for the money. The adjoining pub had football on all screens and was deafeningly loud (on a Monday night, to 5 people) additionally they had no cask ale on tap (despite being a Greene King house) no white wine and no ice. Breakfast was basic (no filter coffee) but ok.
- Martin Astley (5/5): - The staff are nice The room was not very clean and the bed was uncomfortable
- Foulkes (9/5): Brilliant place to stay with kids, staff was very helpful and polite. Definitely would recommend - The food and atmosphere Fire alarm going off at 2.30 am
- Ali (1/5): - Food was good. Breakfast was good. Didn't get any sleep. Party going on two rooms down from my room. Spoke to Assistant manager next morning. Complained through booking.com but only received a minimum refund. Would not recommend to any one.
- Sonia (10/5): Was really nice and the staff couldn't do enough for you - It was so comfortable the room was nice and clean and had the facilities to make a cup of tea Nothing
- Linda (3/5): Unhappy - Size of room and location. Trouble getting milk and toilet paper for the room. Deck lamp very unsafe not maintained properly, wall light constantly flicking, black mould round bath /shower,and to cap it all DOG POO IN PUBLIC CORRIDOR no one around to clean it up shocking. Photos with proof.
- James (8/5): -
- Sophie (6/5): - Very spacious room, very clean Shower temperature wouldn't change and was Luke warm. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable
- linda (6/5): Okay because it was pretty cheap - Cheap, good location clean Very tired looking , only 1 door so struggled if went out separate , only 1 bath towel per room , hard to get hold of staff for any queries
- Freedom58515734391 (10/5): Lovely staff. - Came here tonight for tea... food was good .. had the ultimate combo starter, lots of food for 2 people the only qualm was the garlic bread could have been more garlicky but I guess that's just personal preference... my partner had the big melt burger which was good and because Friday is buy one burger buy another for a £1 we took up the offer and I ordered the smoky rancher which was lovely.. ordered a side of mac and cheese which was nice and cheesy....
Have to give a mention to the staff on shift, Keiley and Chloe served us several times on bar and were so friendly and very good at their jobs and we had Ellise serve our table and she was also great... big up to those for making us feel so welcome...
Will definitely come back again
Thank you.
