• Flora E (10/5): - One of the best cottages in the Rustico/ Cavendish area! The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the cottage is spacious with beautiful views. Nice that there's a playground and beautiful path to the water and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet.

On our very first night I managed to lose my cottage key at a concert I was attending nearby and needed to call for help after off e hours - and I was helped with zero hesitation. I will certainly look to stay there again on any future trips to the area and I give it an enthusiastic. 5 stars!!!

• Juliet (6/5): - This is a cute little cabin with two bedrooms and a kitchen. We were comfortable there, but it seemed quite expensive for what it was. I was also surprised that guests were expected to vacuum and take the garbage out to the dumpster quite far away.

• Dale (10/5): Simple Accommodation met our needs - Everything we needed was available in this cottage. Very well stocked accommodation. We enjoyed our 5 night stay there. It was close enough to restaurants and tourist sites in North Rustico and Cavendish. Be sure to check out the red cliffs in the North Rustico part of the National Park.

• Celia (4/5): - Wifi does not work here!!! We tried so many different things and the owners were always coming around and playing with the wifi but it never seemed to work. If you need access to internet, don’t go here. The owners are kind and did everything to please us. The accommodations are decent but one of our pillows clearly smelled like it hadn’t been washed. The dvd player was broken and we ran out of hot water pretty fast. I found it a little too expensive for so many issues.
• Wendy (10/5): - We had a great time. We used as our home base and travelled the whole island. With it being September if you want to go out for dinner you need to make a reservation, as the students have gone back to school, also some of the restaurants have closed for the season. Beautiful sunrises, if you go down the road beautiful sunsets, great golf and beautiful areas to talk pictures. Our host Rose was great!

• Megan (10/5): - This is perfectly located. Just a quick 5 minute drive to North Rustico, where you have restaurants and small grocery store. Cavendish is within 15 minutes with its beautiful beach, shops, Green Gables Heritage Plwace, etc. The owners went above and beyond when we had car trouble at the wnd of our stay. You have pool on site, washer and dryer as well, and the views are terrific. The grills could use an upgrade, but the cottages have good space including full size bath tub and shower unit. Excellent hosts in a stunningly beautiful area. Definitely reccommend Blue Crest.

• Brenda (8/5): - At Blue Crest the cottages are close but angled in such a way as to provide privacy on the deck and a view from each one. There is a lovely walk down to the shore and plenty of room for children to play. The pool was not open during our stay but it looked fine. We found it very comfortable.

The blue crest cottages are close to everything you’ll love to do with your family (Shining water park, Cavendish Beach, Anne of Green Gable, very good restaurants, Sandspit amusement park and more) The cottage was clean but it is a bit old and would require a little bit of updates, but it still didn’t affect the comfort of our stay! Overall very satisfied with our stay! Thank you!

There is a little playground for the kids, and a swimming pool - we weren't able to use it due to cold weather, but it looked very clean and inviting :) Would definitely stay here again!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great cottage, great location, great staff/owners! - I honestly cannot recommend this place enough! We needed a place to stay in the Rustico/Cavendish area, and we found this gem by a fluke - and it's one of the only places open after the season ends. And it's AMAZING! The cottages are roomy and super comfortable. The location is lovely! The owner is very nice and accommodating! The price is very reasonable! I will most definitely stay here again! We stayed in a two bedroom cabin, one king bed in one room, the other room had a queen and a double, I think. There was also a pull out couch. 6 to 7 people can comfortably stay here. Full kitchen, nice washroom, good water pressure...really love it here!
• Blake (6/5): Keep heading down the highway!!!! - We were excited to stay in these cottages as we believe they were on the ocean. Unfortunately, the "ocean" in front of the cottages is more of a cove which appeared to be full of mussel farms. The cottages were very close together which meant that we had the curtains closed the entire time in hopes of having some privacy. The cottages themselves, which we described as "rustic" were sorely dated. The biggest downside to our stay is the policy, which is not posted on the website (but in very small print by the front door), that guests are required to sweep/vacuum, do dishes, take out garbage/recycling, and dispose of dirty towels or incur a 25$ cleaning fee. We were made aware of this policy at 9:45am and scrambled to clean the place as they have a strict 10am check out or be charged an additional nights stay. All-in-all not exactly how I wanted to spend my one night in the Cavendish area. Would have preferred to spend a little more money and stay in a cuter cottage on the ocean with a little more charm.
• KJ (10/5): Lovely cottage: close to everything - A great place! Close to everything that we were looking at ( PEI National Park, celeidhs', fish markets, beaches). It was nice having a full kitchen and BBQ for preparing lunches to go and for relaxing dinners after a day of sightseeing.
• spring (8/5): Nice hotel for the family vacation - Hope that we can stay longer next time. The only thing which could be improved is the sign of cottage name. It is hard to be seen, especially in the night.

• meg (8/5): PEI or you'll miss out. - Easy check in. Easy to find. Clean throughout the entire place. Cleaning supplies. Enough dishes and towels. Easy parking. Good view from cabin. Pretty quiet but can hear the other people in the one bedroom cabins. My only issue would be the bed - hard but springy (hard to describe. Lol) good breeze through the cabin. Wifi worked pretty well. It disconnected a couple of times.
• Rick (6/5): Beautiful Area of PEI - Cottage was quite comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Unfortunately two previous blogs regarding a sticking entrance door and the fact that there wasn't a proper curtain on the patio doors went without being repaired at time of this writing. Owners were very friendly. Restaurants are a few minutes drive away but there are a variety of choices. Overall, adequate accommodations.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place, centrally located - This was a nice place to stay for two nights. It's just a few minutes away from Green Gables. Be sure to read the fine print about check in and check out times. Check in ends at 7 and checkout is 10.
• Jared (8/5): Great option with canoe and pool facility - Enjoyed staying for a couple nights and the pool/hot tub was a nice relaxing way to unwind at the end of the day. Also they had the option to take a canoe out on the water which was pretty neat. Beds were comfortable and staff were very kind.
• Joanne (8/5): Nice cottage. Many in room amenities. - Unfortunately the pool wasn't available during our stay which was one of the main reasons we chose it. The beds/pillows were not comfortable but the cottage had everything we would need for a long or short term stay. Very clean.
• Tina (6/5): - The cabin was clean and located near great restaurants. As with most cabins the kitchen could be improved. The non stick pans needed to be replaced. Also as we were traveling from Alberta it would be nice to have some basics available - paper towels, Kleenex, basic spices, cooking spray, etc. Who wants to buy these things for a 3 night stay? The towels in the bathroom were paper thin and need replacing. Kitchen dish clothes and towels were the same as the ones in the bathroom and there was no dish mat for under the dish tray. The cabins were nice and clean and quiet.

• Naghmana (10/5): My PEI home - Perfect place to stay in PEI, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, living area, and a pool. Not to mention the BBQ, pool, and your own little outdoor space.
• Anny (10/5): Best cottage, best service. - We checked in late evening and the staff was very friendly and kind. We were surprised that they provided the free P.E.I. national park pass for us to use while we were living there. We were all very satisfied, the cottage was very clean, tidy and with a wonderful scene to live there. Will come back next time.
