Guest Reviews
- John (2/5): SMELLY - We were very disappointed, the check in went smooth, but the condo itself was very disappointing. The minute we walked in the building it smelled terrible.Had no clue it was a basement condo or never would of booked it. The linen and couch itself smelled moldy and musty..there was a huge rip in the slider screen.Being a very hot and muggy night the mosquitoes were terrible. We checked out the next day and had to find another place to stay. Being from Massachusetts,we had no clue where to go.We definitely would not go here again
- Tim (6/5): Nice place but in serious need of updating - The location is beautiful - right on the slopes of Mount Snow. It's a great location. We were there off-season so it was quiet.
Our room was clean and nice enough, but the decor is from the 1980s and very dated. Cabinets, bathroom, appliances (the microwave had instructions for softening cream cheese - haven't seen that in a while). The bed was terrible. It felt like we were in the pull-out bed of a camper. I woke up sore both nights. There was no support and I half-joked to my wife the mattress was probably from the 80s as well.
I could have gotten past everything except the bed. It was the one thing that seriously detracted from a very pleasant weekend.
Food in the deli is jaw droppingly expensive...a cheeseburger, soda and cookie set me back almost $20. I could have gone grocery shopping and got two or three meals out of that much. (Maybe this is the norm but I was here off season and don't ski)
- KKW (8/5): Good proximity to ski chairs - Convenient studio with kitchen and amenities
- Verified traveler (2/5): Rooms are stuck in the 80s. - Check in is a nightmare. I first went to the hotel where they sent me to the snow lodge to check in. From the snow lodge you have to drive again to get to the condos. Doing this at night is confusing. To make matters worse the room numbering is cryptic. They need to make this easier.
Rooms are run down. Broken furniture worn out carpets. One of the dumpiest places I have ever stayed in.
Also no wifi. No cell service. Even the landline phones will not make a call to the outside world.
Better off staying somewhere else.
- Rob (8/5): Nice Accommodation, Great Location - Nice clean condo, walk-able to the slopes. We would definitely return as the pricing was good, and the experience good as well. Only downside of booking is that check-in is only guaranteed for 6pm day arrival. So if you want to ski day of, you need to park at the Mountain like a day tripper and handle all of your baggage, etc. to check-in later on, in full ski gear after a day of skiing. This was doable, but not optimal for a family with young children.
- Win (6/5): Not ski on/ski off - I was shocked to know that the shuttle didn't operate as frequently during the weekdays. I had thought this was a ski on/ski off condo. This isn't. Luckily, it was located just up the road to the main lodge.
The address to check in was also misleading which was a pain when checking in late at night. The night attendant at the main lodge check-in was rude and not much help...sorry for disturbing your nap or something. Luckily, the security guys were more helpful.
The facility was dated, but functional. For the prices, this condo should have been maintained better. The shuttle to the main lodge should also operate during the week as well as the weekend. I probably will not be returning to Mount Snow any time soon.
- Joe (8/5): Not ski in ski out. - Room was clean, nice and modern . But it eas not ski in ski outt as advertised.
- Verified traveler (2/5): I don't come back again - This condo I do not recommend to anyone place is very poor maintenance
- Anmol (8/5): Great atmosphere - It was good cozy calm stay
- Harish (2/5): Hairs on beds - There was hairs on our bed
- Verified traveler (10/5): - nice codo with every thing you need to cook a meal. Has a fireplace with assess to wood close by.
- DENYS (10/5): Great Vermont condos - not too far from Boston - It was very pleasant stay at well equipped condo during the peak foliage season.
Condos are spread over the wide area around the Mount Snow base. This is a really great undervalued place to go - spend couple of days in a fall or winter, relax and enjoy your view. Check-in/out process was easy, front-desk friendly and we really enjoyed a real fireplace (wood was provided by the condo).
I would definitely recommend to book your dinner at Two Tannery Road restaurant ahead of time, they have unbelievably great food and service in a historical house.
- Lisa (8/5): Did its job! - The condo was very comfortable. It was not luxurious and there no outstanding amenities. The screen door was broken that led to the porch. We blew a fuse when using 2 blow dryers. It was very hot inside the condo- although this is atypical Vermont weather. There was only 1 fan.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great pring
Great view
Great location
Great Staff
Great knowledge
Of attractions to visit
- Joel (10/5): - There was a small barking dog when owners were out. Pets were not supposed to be permitted. Owner did not provide hotel with correct password for the wi-fi. Everything else was fine.
- Sasha (10/5): - great condo to stay in. definitely will use again in the future
- Elizabeth (10/5): A getaway for summer - Love Mt Snow any season
- Shivakumar (10/5): Really good view and feel of home - The condo we stayed was very spacious with a pretty good kitchen and utensils except there were no coffee mugs. There was enough room for 4 adults and two kids to sleep.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Small and out dated but clean. Only issue: smoke/CO detector is right outside the bathroom so after every shower, even with bathroom fan on and door closed, the CO alarm goes off.
- Michael (8/5): Good size and location - It was good. Condo was a little worn, but overall good.
- dani (6/5): Mixed review - Nice location within walking distance to magic carpet. Condo unit had quite a few negatives though...
The bed was horrible! Big hole in the middle that you would roll into, left me with a very sore back!
The refrigerator door doesnt close by itself and many times was left open because of this. And its quite noisy
The light switch for the dining room table light was missing the toggle and did not work correctly.
Poor lighting
Unit filled with smoke when neighbors in the building made a fire. Had to call maintenance. They were very nice and brought a fan but we had to have the door open for an hour to get it cleared out
Left us with one coffee filter and no salt and pepper. Usually this is standard in a condo
Appearance wise this condo looked nice other than the rug in the living room that was shredded
- Jeppe (2/5): The address is NOT where you are staying!!!!!!! - beware! the address listed for this is NOT the address! we thought we where staying right by the slopes, but when we arrived they send us a mile away to check in and then another mile to where we was actually staying. you are staying in a privately owned condo. it is extremely outdated and not well kept and was dirty. we thought about complaining, but everything else was booked as it was presidential weekend, so we decided to bite it and enjoy the weekend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Really spacious one bedroom condo with beautiful 1.5 baths. Our only complaint was the pull-out sofa. The mattress inside was so bad that no one could sleep on it, not even my 11 year old son. He had to sleep on the floor.
- bryan (8/5): The Pines is more than fine. - THe Pines condo was very comfy and made for a great get-away weekend. The Moover shuttles to Mt Snow were very convenient, as it literally came to our doorstep every 20 min.
- jon (10/5): all thair - condo was grate wounld go back in sec. dishs, pots, pans come with the condo.
- Ruby Dee (6/5): snow tree condo - First condo I was assigned was horrible with no tv in the bedroom and the upstairs sofa was so badly soiled.
The second one was better, but needed cleaning. Spider webs everywhere and soiled carpeting.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dark and flimsy - We were in a basement unit where only one wall was above ground. As a result, the place was dark. It has been a long time since refurbishing; furnishings were cheap, TV reception borderline, hair dryer didn't work, bathroom was only large enough for one person at a time, shower was limp. On the plus side, good wifi and nice firm bed.
- Michiko (6/5): Convenient but a bit lacking - The condo was convenient but the bed was super squishy / lop-sided and the supposedly clean dishes had to be washed before use. The biggest issue we experienced was what appeared to be a smoke-alarm battery-low alert emanating from an adjacent condo. The hotel staff that came to address the issue were very friendly but indicated that they did have access to all units. So, every 5 or 10 minutes, 3 high-pitch beeps were heard which during the day time was not a bother but at night rather annoying.
- Robert C (6/5): Deer creek condo. - Deer creek condo needs major updating in kitchen and bath. That said it was nice to sit outside on the deck and have a proper living room as opposed to a single hotel room.
- Gretchen (2/5): A run down pit... - The condo furniture was ancient and stained, most of the furniture was missing drawer pulls etc., the windows were duct taped and could not be opened in one room, in the master bedroom there was a clear framed picture covering a smashed in wall, the sliding glass door was off the runner and very hard to open or close, a real mold pit with shag carpet, there was no room for the dining table to be opened or the folding chairs to be used. Just don't rent here. Condo 216 needs to be gutted.
- Charlene (10/5): Great Location - near golf courses! - Plenty of beds and in a great location.
- Jskell (8/5): Was Booked in Willow But Upgraded... - We booked In Willow because, from pictures and description it had we were looking for, nothing fancy just clean and wifi is all we asked. We get there, find out they had given us the wrong check in address. When we finally found where to check in, we find out Expedia stated free wifi where there was none, and the pictures were certainly not from the overly shabby place we were standing.
We figure the desk just thought the owner had the wifi password in the unit, drive back to where we check in to see if they have it. We have no other cell service on the mountain and left our young adult son home alone. The clerk understanding offers us the upgrade as if he is so sorry he himself lied (what an incredibly sweet man he was all around to begin with).
So we get to Gen Run and the condo is amazing! Such a homey and comfortable place. It was so welcoming, great touches inside (fireplace, full cable TV if that's your thing, heated bathroom floors, high overstuffed bed, rocking chairs). And located more than half-way up Snow Mt for gorgeous star gazing and walking around.
Even if the condo was not as amazing, I would recommend it based on the desk clerk who was working that night!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great shower, not so great bed and pillows. - Check in was fast and easy. Building was hard to see in the dark as the names were not illuminated. Shower was great pressure. Decor was very nice, but bed was noisy and uncomfortable and pillows were lumpy. Also the AC and refrigerator were both very noisy and made it hard to sleep.
- Patriot (8/5): - I just think it's Alittle pricy but it's to be expected when there is a huge event
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disappointed - Expedia stated that there was a fireplace and washer/dryer and there was not, i would have chosen a different unit otherwise. Also, the units in the building should have not been rented at this time because there was unfinished construction with nails and garbage everywhere. I have smaller complaints too but the construction issue was huge.
- Susan L. (8/5): Great stay with one negative - We enjoyed staying at the Mt. Snow Condominiums. I recommend calling before you go for better directions. I agree with other commenters that the address provided is incorrect.
We were 3 couples in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was not as described, as it had one bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds, and the other bedroom had bunk beds and a twin bed. That was fine with us though and the living room and kitchen were perfect for us.
My only complaint is that the walls are paper thin. The bedrooms were right by a door to exit the building and it slammed shut. When skiers left at 6, 6:02, 6:05, .... 8:10, we heard the door slam and even shake the beds slightly. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared!
- Ronald L. (8/5): Great ski trip - We were very happy with our condo. there was plenty of room, very clean although some of the beds could use a little upgrade. the kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we could need, bathrooms were nice and clean
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We were in a 2 bedroom condo. The rooms were nice but the T.V in the master bedroom did not work and in the extra bedroom there was no T.V so everyone had to jam in the living room and all had to watch the same show on a 21 inch T.V
- Boo Mom (10/5): Great getaway - We stayed at one of the townhomes and it was perfect for a fall getaway weekend.
- Dave (4/5): very basic - room was shop worn, door had lag bolts to secure the dead bolt--looked like someone had trashed the room and "some" repairs were made, ceiling over the kitchen sink had deteriorated a looked like it was ready to fall Fortunately we did not spend much time in the unit
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice condo close to ski slopes - Good condo for a family or group. Slightly difficult to find at night.
Comfortable arrangements, though lacks Wi - fi ( important to me since there was no cell phone reception either) and has minor issues like broken garbage disposal. Heating does not seem to circulate outside air, so we had to keep a window open to get fresh air.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Ski resort in mid-summer - Spacious condo on two levels, 1.5 baths, fully equipped kitchen. Location near Marlboro Music Festival which we were attending. Everything was fine except finding our cabin on a dark, rainy, night after the concert. Nice touches: upstairs room with TV and CD player.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great stay! Room was clean and very comfortable with a great view of the mountain! Will definitely stay again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): review - it was good, everything about the place was homie and quaint...the place needed more regular sized cups and shot glasses
- jack (8/5): great mountain views - nice size rooms with a full kitchen a little dated but clean and well stocked with necessities. Harrimans restaurant at theGrand Summit Lodge was very good and reasonably priced. Would definitely return.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable place and nice people but needs fix up - The condo we stayed in was very comfortable but it could use a little maintenance. In a few spots the wallpaper was starting to peel a bit, nothing too bad but it could use a refresher. Except for that the condo was great. Nice corner wood burning fireplace and a big comfy sectional couch and the bed was fine too. Everything was very clean and they left handy things like a little bottle of dishwashing liquid and dish towel. Kitchen had all the essentials so all in all we had a great stay. The people at the front desk of the main lodge were very nice and helpful. You have to go to the main lodge to check in and get the key (real key - no card).
- Merci (8/5): Hoping to hear back from them as promised - Overall the condo was beautiful. More than enough space for myself and 2 sisters. It was spotless and was outfitted with everything we needed. The downside was no internet access,we also had issue with the condo above the bedroom I was in, when we returned from dinner about 8:30 I heard a fan from overhead, it was so loud I knew I would have difficulty sleeping, I closed the bathroom door and that muffled the sound somewhat.
I was awaken by something falling and making a big clatter, I thought it was in the livingroom but could not recall anything on the wall or furniture that could have fallen and made that noise. When I awoke I went to use the bathroom and had no power in the bathroom, the fan in the condo above us could not be heard either. The vibration of that fan had knocked the aluminum tissue holder off the back of the toilet, that was what had woken me during the night.
I relayed all this to the desk clerk and was assured someone from the hotel would be in touch with me yesterday.I have not heard from anyone via phone or email.

- Dave (8/5): Excellent First Aid Staff - Overall an excellent facility-outstanding first aid staff, my wife severly sprained her ankle, actually ripped some bone I stopped at the front desk, asked where I should go for med treatment, was told there was a first aid station on site They were fantastic. They set her up in a splint, iced it down and gave us directions to the hospital in Benington, VT. They made an unfortunate situation very bearable. We were able to salvage the week-end
- Linda (8/5): Good location. - The condo was more than adequate for a single individual. It would have been nice if I had been informed when I booked the accommodations that I would be paying a resort fee. I may have used the resort facility differently.
