Guest Reviews
- Jo (10/5): Nice renovation occurring. - Newly renovated room on 4th floor. Breakfast was very average.
- Christopher (9/5): Nice place to stay in Dickinson - Nice facility, clean, comfortable quiet room. Nearby grocery store convenient to restock for trip. Quick access to/from I-94 Parking lot a little rough.
- Guest (9/5): -
- Cambrea (1/5): Not grand. - The staff was good about getting me a new room I wasn’t impressed with this stay. I got a dirty room. Food still in the microwave. Shower was not clean. Loofah was left from previous person. The room was filthy. Got to my new room. Got woke up by housekeeping at 9 am and then asked if I needed an extension on check out. I do not need to be charged late check out
- Norene (9/5): -
- Rodney (8/5): - the room was overall clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The baseboards and mop boards in the room and bathroom were missing.
- Jo (8/5): Adequate facility, nice employees. - Help was very nice, hard working. The halls were quite cool. Lots of small maintenance items. ie: squeaky wheels on luggage carts, no base board trim in room, breakfast person did not show up so other employees did their best.
- Trinity (6/5): - Location No complaints.
- Dan (4/5): - Unprofessional front desk, didn't know how to provide a receipt, had to be reminded to fix TV after waiting over an hour, personal appearance looked like they just walked off the street. Area around front desk littered with "stuff" and old room keys. Trash and liquid in the hallway remained for several hours until I escorted desk clerk passed the mess. Poor maintenance, all our faucets were unsecured, holes in walls, noisy AC/heat unit. Cancelled our return reservation.
- Carol (7/5): Worked fine for us. We would stay again. - Breakfast was fine. Location fine. Staff very good and helpful. Repairs were needed in the room - curtains.
- Julie (10/5): -
- Brenda (9/5): -
- Anna (4/5): - The hotel is remodeled recently. Nice new furniture. Those are only good things. There was a plate with food in the microwave, crumbs in the fridge, the door of the fridge stuck to it, the wall had a lot of foot marks over the bed, which could be easily removed by wet cloth, sheets had spots. I also think that the bedding was not changed after previous occupant, based on the wrinkles print on them.
- Virginia (10/5): - Room all fresh and clean and well equipped. Beds comfortable. Front desk very nice and welcoming
- Sviatoslav (10/5): - A very comfortable bed, fast internet, the kitchen is very convenient for cooking, water pressure in the shower, no extraneous odors, a good view from the window, especially in the mornings. - Arlette (10/5): The room is very cute and the bed is really comfortable, I loved it. - Breakfast Options were ok. If there were scrambled eggs.
- Henry (8/5): - Had to request twice to get the TV to work properly. Pavement in the parking lot was broken up in places.
- Anthony (8/5): - Quiet
- David (8/5): - Great service and room, excellent breakfast.
- Danielle (10/5): - Great food, friendly staff!
- Xin (10/5): - The hotel is very good. It's clean and quiet. The room is new. There is laundry facility. There are fridge and coffee in the room. The staff is friendly. I highly recommend this hotek.
- isaac (10/5): - It was a have clean room. The service was excellent
- Lisa Voelker (2/5): - How would any woman feel having the manager say, and I quote exactly, “ everything you say is wrong everything I say is right so listen to me.“ thankfully, another female guest was there to witness this altercation and showed the manager the text Wyndham has sent saying that the hotel did not accept pets. Horrible customer service. Terrible human being. The manager also claimed to be the owner. Also not true. Terrible experience. Terrible terrible terrible. I left rather than stay there.
- Barbara (6/5): - Torn screen, no toilet paper holder, no comfortable chair, no tub safety mat, no plug for bathroom sink, had to call desk for hair dryer. What a shame cuz there's a great staff and could be a nice place.
- Nancy (6/5): - The two people we spoke with at the desk were very nice. We requested extra pillows, and we received them. However, the room we stayed in had a pipe leaking in the sink. We noticed and were promptly removed to another room. The second room didn’t have a king bed, but had 2 full beds. That was ok because it was quieter at the back of the building. We were told that all vanities were just replaced which is why there were no toilet paper holders. The next morning, we came to eat around 8:20 am and the hot breakfast food was all gone! Evidently, a lot of clients are workers who come for breakfast at 5:30 am ate everything except cereal and make-your own waffles. Other customers who arrived after us were also upset that litttle was left. It was disappointing,
,
- Joseph O (10/5): - Very easy to access. Clean and wuiet
- Diane (6/5): - The room was nice. The toilet was loose the bathroom door didn’t lock right. The breakfast did not have any yogurt or fresh fruit.
- Ed (10/5): - Great breakfast, clean
- Pamela (6/5): - Upon arrival could see screen on a window was torn and blowing in the breeze. No remote for the TV in the room. Went to the front desk to get one and it did not work. Staff finally came to the room and needed to work on the eqiupment to get it to work. Next morning breakfast selections were very good. Felt bad for the lady trying to keep the breakfast items filled. She did a good job, while trying to cover people checking out the front desk. Really should have more staff to cover such a busy time.
- Margaret (10/5): - The gentleman at the front desk was helpful and did a great job. The breakfast lady was awesome and did a great job, over and above
- Ronald (10/5): - A nice hotel and close to Medora.
- Jaime (10/5): - Clean and comfortable
- William (10/5): -

- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing Stay - It started when we had to be charged for early check in and I stated it was because we were in town for a funeral. We needed to freshen our clothes after traveling and there were was not an ironing board or iron in the room and no hangers to hang your clothes on. The bathroom door lock was broken (see photo). The shower head was leaky and there was dry wall texture on the bathroom grab bara, paint on the electrical plates. It did look like they were renovating but appeared to be sloppy work. I received a welcome text that said to reply to it if we needed anything and we received no response to our request. The front desk attendant was more interested in his phone then providing customer service. The next day for the breakfast they had no butter, coffee was out and there were no fruit options like a banana or apple. And then there was a fly strip in the breakfast area garbage can, very unappealing. The only good thing is the beds were comfortable.
- William (10/5): -
- Wayne (9/5): - Bed was great. Food was good.
- Dawn (4/5): - The employees were great. The hotel itself was run down. It said it had a gym but it didn’t. Someone was smoking weed most of the evening the smell permeated our room.
The heater/ air conditioner didn’t work.
- Mark (8/5): Two night stay - We stayed here because we were traveling with two small dogs. The fee for the dogs was reasonable ($20 each per night) and the hotel staff was very friendly.
- rufus (8/5): - Clean
- Javier (8/5): - Good property and pleasant stay. Breakfast is good. We stayed in room 129 and our two gripes were: 1. The floor of the room had not been swept. It was gritty. 2. The shower floor was a little slick and there was no grab bar. The shower curtain was too long and partially covered the tub floor. If you stepped on it, you were on an ice rink.
- Arlene (2/5): Do not stay here - Part of this is my fault for not contacting the property to ask for an ADA room for my 91 year old grandma. When I booked this it said free cancellation 24hrs before hand. When we checked her in they had no ADA rooms, her room had no safety handles in the bathroom at all. The next day we moved her to another hotel for safety reasons. I contacted the property and explained what happened, thinking they would have her pay for 2 nights because of the 24 hour cancellation rule. NOPE!! They kept all 7 nights a 91 year old lady paid them, AND were able to rent the room out again. Horrible service to an ELDERLY VETERAN!! Also the owner parks his corvette in the handicap spot. Night employee was on the phone yelling at whoever he was talking to. When I checked her in I told her right in front of the guy at the counter that if she didn’t feel safe in the shower I would find her another hotel, and he never said a word about no refunds for cancellation. I can’t believe Wyndham would treat a loyal customer like this. We will be sure to spread the word that this property does not uphold Wyndham standards.
- LISA (8/5): - The property was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful
- KEVIN (10/5): Terrific - This was a great place to stay. We have stayed there twice in the last couple of weeks. Very clean, comfortable and the best pillows and beds. The breakfast was the best we have had anywhere in the last couple of weeks. The cheese and egg omelettes are the best. Berniece that ran the kitchen was fantastic. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do to make sure you have everything you need. The manager Shah was top notch! If we are ever in the area again we will stay again!
- Gary (4/5): - They will not check you in until 3:00 when we arrive there was 5 other people waiting to check in and when they did start there was a girl that could not speak any English trying to check people in. Finally someone came that could speak English. Door jam at front door need to be fixed could not push luggage cart in. Elevator and hallway were dirty. First time there probably would not go back,
- Dee (2/5): Dont bother - The front desk help in the evenigs should be fired, terrible rude, refused to answer our call from the room. Took forever to check in. The morning staff was very helpful however. The breakfast was sparse. Our whole experience was not good
- Anne (8/5): - Good
- Jennifer (6/5): - When we arrived in our room it smelled trouble and toilet was plugged. The house keepers were working near by had them unplug toilet. I went and bought air freshener for the room. The room still had a trouble smell, finaly discovered it was a plastic laundry basket on a shelf i put that outside in the hallway. Breakfast they were short staff so also not great. This is why i was not responding to your survey. I would probably not recommend.
- ray (7/5): Good location. Right off the freeway and easy to find! - This was a nice property for the money. Standard Continental breakfast. Quiet room and comfortable bed.
- Henry (6/5): west coast trip - couldn't check in before 3 pm.
- Akemi (10/5): God place to stay for the money - The receptionist was friendly and efficient. He upgraded our two rooms without us asking.
- Shelly (1/5): I called to confirm our reservation & it had been canceled due to construction. No one called to let us know 😡 -
- Jonathan (6/5): Newly refurbished but not fully prepared - Was a welcome stay when camping was no longer an option due to cold and windy weather. The bed and room were adequate and comfortable having been newly refurbished. But although it had a kitchenette, there were no dishes, utensils, or silverware available, forcing us to use our camping equipment. The breakfast bar was nice with waffles and biscuits, but lacked any fresh fruit.
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Greg (10/5): - All excellent - thanks!
- Diane (10/5): it was great - the room was large and had a whole kitchen nothing
- Roger (8/5): - The property was ok. Remodel work using good quality materials but incomplete. For example the hotel has nice new hallway carpets but no transition strips into rooms installed. Room 322 has a outlet on wall by window with no cover plate etc. They're on a good path but need to finish things thry start.
- Guest (8/5): -
- Jolene (8/5): Good buttt? - They have done some nice remodeling, loved no carpeting in the room. Contractor needs to do clean up on caulking & painting. Rooms were clean but no vacuuming was done in hallways all weekend. Stairs were dirty, sticky and had chicken bones on them all weekend. Liked kitchenette in room.
- Guest (10/5): -
- Rita (10/5): - Clean rooms great staff nice breakfasts would definitely stay again
- Nancy (10/5): - Friendliness, clean room
- James (8/5): -
- Lorena (7/5): -
- Yri (10/5): - Comfortable. Easy to find Heater really didn’t warm the room.
- Stephen (5/5): -
- KEVIN (10/5): - too many items not put away in common areas
- Lisa (10/5): - good Breakfast
- louis (8/5): - no rack for suitcase to go on
- Lynn (8/5): -
- Charles (10/5): Very fresh and new - Hotel is in great shape for an econo stay
- Amy (6/5): - The staff was very friendly and efficient! The bed and pillow were comfortable. The bathroom was dirty with other people’s hair in the shower. Nothing worked- the tv, coffee pot nor the heat.
- Karen (10/5): -
- Jesse (6/5): - Staff was wonderful.
Unfortunately the room directly above me had dogs, and they were up and down off the bed from 6pm til 7am. Not much the hotel could have done about that.
Area around the hotel is not the best, typical car only outskirts oil country stuff.
Hotel itself is fine.
Staff was great.
- TIM (6/5): - Shower tub was not clean. Had to use my Clorox wipes to clean it
- Cristin (10/5): - Breakfast was good, had a wide variety of items to choose from. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. Would stay here again!
- Leena (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean room with a kitchenette. I was upgraded to a king bed which was very comfortable. Quiet professionally ran hotel, several restaurants a short drive away.
- Robert (10/5): - Shah was an excellent front desk worker, I messed up my bookings but he took care of everything!
- Joseph (10/5): Excellent value for the price. Would definitely stay here again. - The room was so spacious, clean and bed/pillows very comfortable. Front staff person was extremely helpful, cheerful and efficient. Shower pressure was good. First hotel I’ve been to in awhile that didn’t have a hair dryer. I did have my own this time since we were on a longer trip this time. Having a kitchenette, I thought there might be basic food/making and serving utensils but there wasn’t anything. Not a big deal though, just grabbed paper plates, silverware from the bkfst area
- Mary (10/5): Over delivered. - Nice room with lots of space. Loved to big refrigerator. Good Breckfast options.
- Rodney (8/5): - Nice little breakfast
- John (10/5): - Stayed one night on long road trip. Gentleman who greeted me was extremely welcoming and immediately offered a free upgrade from a Queen to King sized bed. Room was clean and comfortable. Can't comment on breakfast as I left without eating. Great value!
- Soeratmie (10/5): -
- Dana (10/5): A nice surprise - We were very happy with our room. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchenette with the full-sized refrigerator was an extra bonus.
We also liked the large elevator.
Breakfast was good. I was surprised to have many options such as eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, yogurt, and more. The property looked a little rundown from the outside. There were ripped screens on a few of the ground level windows. I think they are in the process of renovating as the inside rooms were beautiful. My guess is that they will get to the outside later.
- Diana (10/5): Everything was great - Clean
- Timothy (9/5): - The breakfast didn’t include eggs or bacon or sausage.
- Barclay (6/5): -
- Mary (10/5): Really nice and clean place to stay - I like this Baymont hotel. It’s close to the highway so it doesn’t get me lost. It’s clean and the manager Shah is very friendly and very helpful.
- ILA (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay for the long weekend at the recently remodeled Baymont Inn and suites. The check-in was very easy. Mr. Shah was very helpful knowledgeable, personable friendly. We had a free upgrade without asking.
Bernice in the breakfast area was great and very efficient everyday and was provided excellent service in the Breakfast area. She made sure everything was well wishes checked with the customers in the area to see if they needed anything’s he kept the breakfast items well stocked and constantly checked if there was a restocking needed. I would give her more that 10 out of 10 for carrying out her duties. Thank you Bernice for the excellent service and make our morning breakfast a breeze and a pleasure. We would definitely come and visit again
- Duoachong (8/5): - The only thing I would say is that for hot breakfast, they only had biscuit and gravy so don't expect anything more. Otherwise, it's a decent place for the price you pay.
- James (2/5): - Toilet was plugged when we arrived called and manager brought a plunger and handed it to me! Tv didn't work called and was told to wiggle the wires, finally brought me a secound remote we needed to use one to turn tv on the other to switch channels! sink stopper was stuck shut needed to call to ask to have it fixed. no Kleenex no ice bucket only one chair! hard to recommendthis place!
- Garcia (9/5): - The room was big, clean and beds were comfortable. NA
- Georgia (10/5): - Very spacious rooms, good price, a good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff!
- Georgia (10/5): A great stay! - We came for the Medora Musical. The location was great. We chose the motel because it had the best recent reviews. The rooms were spacious. They have a really nice kitchenette if you were staying multiple nights, including a full-size fridge. Breakfast was good. Ours included sausages and cheese omlets. We were earlier than the planned check-in because we forgot about the switch from Central to Mountain time. They were able to find us rooms that matched the two we had booked and were together so we could check in early. It was much appreciated!
- Mahe (8/5): -
- laurie (2/5): - The property is convenient to the interstate. It is being (poorly) renovated. My first room had painters tape around some edges and the bathroom door was too long and wouldnt close. There was no toilet paper holder, just rolls on top the toilet. Two of the pillows had no cases. None of these deal breakers. The deal breaker was when I pulled back the nicely made bed to reveal sheets that were clearly slept on. I started opening drawers and the room phone , a dirty Tshirt and pair of socks were in a drawer. The manager gave me the room across the hall after 15 gross minutes. The bathroom door closed and the bed appeared to be clean but still no TP holder, the bathroom light was dirty and therefore dull, and the ceiling vent/fan was filthy and without a cover. I left as quickly as possible in the morning, with wet hair as there was no hair dryer.
- Jennifer (10/5): - They are clearly working to update this aging property but our bed was excellent and our room clean. The rate was very reasonable. We were happy with our stay!
- Jan (10/5): Great place to stay when visiting Medora! - Hotel has been completely remodeled- from rooms to lobby- pleasing- clean- bed was awesome- will stay here again!!!
- John Patrick (9/5): Very good - Upgrade to king bed
