- Hernandez (1/5): It smelled like dogs throughout the entire place. I went out to buy air freshener due to the smell. - Location and staff was friendly. It smelled like dogs and wasn’t very clean in general.
- Tonya (10/5): -
- Marva (7/5): - Room was nice Hard to find
- Deja (10/5): -
- Laird (2/5): Unsatisfactory - Cleanliness; no cabinet doors on cabinets; no amenities; no silverware or pans for cook stove; poorly supplied and maintained! Venetian blinds broken and did not have a way to close them for the evening!
- ranesah (1/5): -
- Dickens (10/5): -
- McCray (2/5): - Clean and nice hearted stuff. Not much just a little bit of a place outside of things.
- Dickens (10/5): - All the staff and guess like myself are so nice I'd recommend this to anybody I see that asked me about where to go cuz the amenities are wonderful you got a two burner hot plate you got a full refrigerator freezer you got the bed TV little table to eat at a little some hangers on a shelf that you can hang your clothes in like a closet and just got a full bathroom shower tub sink toilet
- Dan (4/5): -
- Dickens (10/5): - I like the fact that I could cook stuff in the room and it was really a chill place nice people everybody stayed to their self
- Jenna (8/5): -
- Kristina (1/5): - NOTHING AT ALL! dirty & smelly !
- David (4/5): The value was great, but the housekeeper didn’t close the bathroom for to see a good amount of blood on the wall, floor, - Good location; near hospitals/clinics. In-room coffee and mini kitchen were an unexpected plus. Cleanliness was abhorrent! Blood on the wall, floor and back of bathroom door; had to close the door to see it, so didn’t find it until the middle of the night. Mold around tub. When the cleanliness was reported to front desk, the response was “sorry”.
- Patty (10/5): -
- Patty (10/5): perfect! - The staff was amazing in particular Miranda! They were very helpful nothing was clean, and very nice
- Kyler (6/5): - There was no breakfast
- Lori (6/5): - Booked a queen suite it was clearly a full when I asked the staff I was reassured that it was a queen upon returning to the room I checked the fitted sheet and it was a full, no way that sheet woulda fit on a queen bed. No biggiesm just didn't appreciate being lied too
- Deivis J (10/5): - Nice
- Allan (8/5): - Staff was friendly & helpful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible Smell - First off nothing like the pictures & as soon as you enter the room there is this horrible smell! Many cockroaches!! Very disgusting to sleep like that & The bed was not the best & they charge you just to use the WIFI! I DON’T recommend this place at all!!
- Tom (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Megan (6/5): - It was great for the price
- Dre (8/5): - Could not get room key distributed due to machine being broken!!!!
- Courtney (5/5): - Cost and security Each room should have a couch or chair to relax in and not just a bed to sit on for watching TV or relaxing
- Desmond (4/5): - Dirty towels, no shower curtain was present, roach on the wall
- Brandon (2/5): - Staff didn’t show up for over 10 minutes. When they did they seemed upset and in pajama clothes and robe. Whole place just smelled like weed was lit in half the rooms. Had the most sketchy person riding the elevator. The room was at best a 1 out of 5 and very basic. Bed screamed bed bugs. I was in the room for 20 minutes and left the building. Not worth a penny. Waste of money
- Kelvin (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was comfortable The smell of animals was in the room and that was my only problem
- Larry (6/5): Ok - The room wasn’t ready when we got there and no clean towel for the last night we stayed had to ask for clean ones the hotel had a smell in the hallway and the front desk was left untended it was hard to get service
- Brokaw (5/5): Passable -
- Scott (8/5): - Nice hotel, but the street noise was alot.
- Nocona (2/5): - Smelled musty and was very noisy!! People smoking pot and cigarettes outside by the doors which affected my asthma
- Amanda (10/5): - Very friendly and clean
- Shawna (2/5): Very poor - Location It smelled like smoke (cigarettes & thc) all around me, but they said it was non smoking & still refused to let us leave few days early to get out unless we paid another $80
This place is in a good location but more like a section 8 apt
- Kaley (2/5): - Terrible wouldn’t recommend the trash in the parking lot is unreal. Drug deals in the parking lot early morning is insane.
- Henry (2/5): - It smelled like cigarettes all the time, even in the room.
- rod (8/5): - Had all that I needed then my power went out. Full fridge, microwave, stovetop oven and was close to home. Room was comfortable without a noise from other rooms. Front desk staff was helpful and courteous
- Bolinger (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything
- Brad (7/5): Good -
- Gabriel (2/5): Front desk during office hours. - Didn’t stay. Reception works office hours only.
- Anthony (7/5): Good -
- Jenny (1/5): I did not end up staying there because of how disgusting it was! - I didn’t. It was awful, we didn’t stay there. It was extremely dirty, staff was very unprofessional and dirty. Building looked old and rotted. The rooms were filthy. Bug droppings in one mattress, and black pubic hair on the other mattress. There were no doors on the cabinets, walls had mold on them, and it just looked like someone threw together dirty furniture and linens and said “here’s your room”. COMPLETELY DISGUSTED! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!
- Carlo (8/5): - Just few flies non stop in room besides that great stay
- Cody (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Only issue was very uncomfortable bed. No coffee pot. But overall worth the price.
- Adrian (2/5): The dirty hotel - Rooms super dirty.
People smoking marijuana outside the lobby in the front door of the hotel.
Smell dog everywhere in the hotel
Laundry is dirty people wash dogs clothes and floor mats in the machines.
- Edie (7/5): Good -
- Kim (8/5): Comfortable, convenient and hospitable - Close to everything and secure Employees extremely nice To turn on bathroom light you had to turn on over head light over bed
- briancN9294VO (2/5): Beware, not good - Bad experience. Started with front desk talking on the phone with the door rolled down. I had to knock to get someone to check me in. The place is run down with no amenities. You can tell people are living here and trash piled in the hallway, loud noises and smoking. I suspected something was wrong when the front desk lady actually said go look at the room before we run your card. Never been told that before but apparently people come back after opening the door and want their money back and she said they won't refund after running your card.
- savannah (2/5): - Smelled bad of smoke
- Tyshawn (1/5): Horrible! I checked in and right out. - nothing at all. Front desk was okay The rooms smelled, dogs barking, dim lighting, the room was just overall nasty and disgusting.
- Mark (1/5): Bad -
- Mckee (4/5): Disappointing - A few of the workers was nice but not all of them wasn't especially the hotel manager wasn't friendly. The hotel manager was hateful, rude, disrespectful. The hotel manager act like she/he was better than what I was. My hotel room was not cleaned. The cover has holes in it and that's the job of the manager to take care of that and doesn't.
- Gage (2/5): Nope - Not sure what all of the othet rooms look like, but the fact mine looked the way it did and I was given it, makes me think they're all of similar status. Sheets were CLEARLY old/used (scratchy on one-half of the bed), dingy appliances, and overall "bare" feel. Only thing I felt good about was how nice the front desk staff was. This is likely a purchased-to-renovate property. Can't recommend to anyone for a stay
- William (4/5): - The staff was extremely nice and friendly, but the hotel was dirty, inside and out. Was a non smoking room that had clearly been smoked in and had cigarette burns on countertops and tables. Outside in the parking lot there were people doing drugs and stuff littered throughout.
- C.j. (1/5): Bad -
- Samantha (1/5): Bad -
- Lashanda (7/5): Good - Employees, great customer service , area is great Cleanliness, too many dogs, smells real bad in 1st floor. Elevator had dog blood and hair in it for 3days.
- Robert (4/5): It suck - Nothing The bedroom looked like a hospital
- Steven (2/5): - This property is absolutely disgusting. The lobby area by the elevator smelled like urine. The hallways stank really bad. Our bed had 2 pullows that were absolutely worthless. They were really flat. I doubled mine up. There was a roach in our bathroom sink. The room was missing the baseboards/molding. There were no doors on the cabinets in the room. The room and hotel both, looked absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website. Unless you're hard up, DO NOT stay here.
- Dina (3/5): Poor - Our ac wasn't working when we got there. Maintenance was prompt and fixed it within 30 mins The halls smelled of wet dog. And highly of pot. It hits as soon as u come off the elevator.
- LeKeia (2/5): - This property is disgusting and should not even be listed on this site! The front desk closes at 6 on the weekends as soon as you walk in the lobby it smells like death! The staff was not friendly. I had to call to get someone to come check me in and they acted like I was disturbing them. The elevator was dirty the floors were dirty. The only thing in the room that appeared clean was the sheets! The fridge stove the tub even the walls in the room were dirty had stuff all over them. We literally just slept there and barely did that because I was afraid something would crawl on me we didn’t even shower I left and went to another hotel and paid to use a room to get ready! This place was the worst hotel I have ever been in!
- Lisa (2/5): - There was construction, rooms were unfinished, fridge was rusty, bed linens gross. I do not stay there. I stayed somewhere else.
- Lashanda (5/5): Passable - Good location and price It's nasty, smells, like dog throughout, hallway carpet filty, elevator nasty.
- Jennifer (10/5): A must stay - Very clean! The room was very roomy and staff were amazing There pool was down for 2 days and had a wasp sting me when I was out under the pavilion but was quickly token care of!
- Alice (4/5): - Tv didn’t work….maintenance man was very quick to replace 😊
The place was dirty, doing remodeling but rooms weren’t ready, towels were like thin rough cleaning rags but got exchanged and were better
- Quest54810167272 (4/5): No second stay - No fluffy pillows (lumpy, glad we had our own). Towels like rough thin cleaning rags, dirty.. asked for others. Door not adjusted after new floors. Very difficult to open. Had to walk through smokers at entrance, sign said no smoking within 8’, needs much farther. Bed very hard . Lot of dogs..dog hair everywhere.
People were friendly, although had to bring down old washcloth to prove I needed new ones. Maintenance man promptly checked and got new tv when the old one didn’t work.
Understand they were under construction but shouldn’t rent if rooms aren’t ready.
- Kendall (4/5): Disappointing - There’s a black lady at the front desk who’s very rude
- Staycjo (2/5): Gross - It was very dirty. There was no coffee pot in room. We were only given 1 pillow per person. The 24 hour phone number for customer service was not answered during time of need. The toilet paper roll was only a quarter of the way full upon arrival and had to wait til morning for more. Had to ask for more towels, housekeeping is not provided daily.
- Diona (3/5): Poor - Great location and the attendant was nice and allowed me to look at the room before taking my money which I appreciated greatly. I ended up not taking the room. But if you just need somewhere to stay it’s acceptable. Carpets were dirty and it smelled like old cooked food. It was not the cleanest place but if you are in a bind it’s acceptable.
- Valerie (2/5): Run away!! Choose a different hotel! - Worst hotel stay!! Room was very unclean. Towels are not cleaned during your stay or the sheets. If you want them cleaned its an extra charge. My safety was very questionable. I left early and went to another hotel. They offer no refunds.
- Megan (1/5): I will never stay at a Woodsprings again. - They do allow dogs, even large breeds. Location is nice, close to many places to eat and shop. The staff was the worst staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. They were rude and disrespectful, completely unprofessional.
- Megan (1/5): If this is the staff Woodsprings will continue to have, I won’t stay at any of their properties again. - Location was decent, on the line between east side of Evansville and Newburgh. Convenient to get to places. They allow dogs which is why I chose here. The new staff is HORRIBLE. Completely unprofessional and rude. I stayed here in the fall for a couple months and had no issues, but I barely got to stay 12 hours this time and already had problems.
- Tamiko (2/5): - The manager was very friendly and caring. She tried her best, but you can only do so much with what you are given. The concept of the rooms was good. I killed 3 roaches in 30 seconds after turning on the light. The bathtub was dirty and so were the sheets. They moved me to another room. It was cleaner. I picked up the pillows and found one in a nasty dirty cover. After checking the sheets and I had lain down, I noticed the spread was dirty. I don't like giving bad reviews. I am putting this down to good people working in a bad position.
- Rachel (1/5): Worst experience of our lives - Full size fridge Hotel smelled horrible of wet pet and marajana. Kids had to walk around a passed out drunk man to get into building. Only one set of fresh towels for the week. Only one person allowed to used horrible wifi
- Taylor (4/5): Disappointing - Air conditioner didn't work well the hotel stank in elevator and hallways 7
- robert (2/5): - Has a kitchenette but no dishes or pans. It smells horrible of pet urine. I’ve stayed in a lot of places nothing compares to the smell. I wouldn’t pay to stay there again
- Micayla (4/5): a cheap place to sleep. - The Staff was very friendly. Very ran down, hallway had a weird smell, no doors on cabinets & very rusted. the lights were very confusing they all had to be on or they all had to be off you couldn’t just turn one on and the tv was stuck on a guide and wouldn’t allow any buttons to be pressed.
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jahmarr (6/5): Needs to be closer - Its to far out and needs to be closer in the town
- Lapierre (4/5): Will not go back to that place again. No one should have to pay $402.00 for a week stay, plus extra. - Kitchen No breakfast, had to wash and dry our sheets, towels, take out the trash. Constantly having to get new key cards, because they wouldn't work to open for entry. Had to pay $2.00 for each roll of toilet paper, sheets/linen to be cleaned for a week. But mostly, a lot of people staying there were doing/selling drugs and having sex for money. Dogs allowed and dog 💩 poop all around the facility, due to not being picked up. 😭
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth the money - Not worth the money. The pictures make it look way nicer but this hotel is very basic and very uncomfortable. No lamp on the side table. No doors on the kitchen cabinets. No recliner/comfy chair, just a basic metal frame chair. The cleanliness was OK I guess.
- Constance (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and nice. Check in was easy. Everything was very nice.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- laurawR563OV (2/5): Do something! - Worst choice ever! I went to Woodspring Suites in Evansville Indiana to stay and visit my father who lives there! He's there because he has cancer and is dying and has to be close to the hospital! I find out my father is living a nightmare! The room is fine. The location is perfect for him! What is not OK is the new Manager! My dad has been there a long time and has had the same price for a long time! The new manager raised his price from 42 to 79! What the hell!!! If it weren't for the two girls working while the Manager is on vacation I would have relocated my dad!!! They put his price back to normal!! Where the hell did you find that girl! Anyway on top of that the new manager is charging 2 bucks for a roll of toilet paper, she's charging to use a broom, vacuum, a plunger!! To top everything off my dad woke up one day to find a notice, face up on the floor telling him he was due in three days!! He looked down the hall and there was the new manager and she was doing same papers face up in front of people's doors on the floor!! My God have you people not heard of the privacy act? The two other girls at the front desk were amazing! They were polite and understanding! They help my dad anytime he needs it and they treat people with dignity and respect! One night there was a fire alarm and smoke and they got everyone out of the building, gave everyone blankets, made sure everyone was OK! The new manager was nowhere to be found! My dad said he watched those girls walk the older people and handicapped out of the building! Everything turned out OK, but where the hell was the manager!!! The maintenance guy was great! He fixed my dad's heater and he was polite and professional! My advice? The other girls at the front desk should be Managers and that new girl needs to be fired!!! She is the most awful person! She is unprofessional and is more like a prison guard! She has no clue what she's doing!
- Robert (9/5): Superb - I liked the locked doors. You can't get into any door after a certain time except for the front door and I liked that. the bed was pretty hard I mean I am almost 300 lbs and the bed didn't budge LOL I am used to some sink in the bed but nope this stayed tight LOL It was good but I think if I was on it for more then 1 night I would have hurt
- Anthony (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jon (2/5): I won't stay here again - I had to move to different room due a very bad odor smell in the room, pretty sure it was mold. The other room wasn't much better. I lost $130 worth of groceries from the freezer stop working, after telling the staff for over 24 hours that my food wasnt staying frozen. The carpet in the room was GROSS and also smelled disgusting!! The ceiling in the bathroom also leaked so much that our bathroom floor was soaked. The towels/wash clothes were always stained. The hallways always smelled like Marijuana and even came through our air conditioning vent. It's a smoke free environment, or so we thought since the staff mentioned it was and theres signs saying so. I have 3 small children and was definitely not okay with that. I mentioned it to the staff- they seemed to not care, but I guess thats what happens when every staff member lives on sight at the property. We were also told that we didn't pay for nights that we did pay for and were facing eviction, although we showed proof that it was, indeed, paid up. The staff made us pay for 2 nights extra on top of the nights we already paid for!! Then took 3 weeks to give us a decision and refused a refund. Also refused reimbursement for the lost food and all of the other troubles we faced while there. The laundry facility was horrible. Half the time the machines didn't work and when they did, I had clothes that were damaged. New clothes, at that. Tar, grease/oil stains. None of which we are around. The keys to our room always deactivated
- Tenaye (2/5): Very poor - Only pleasant thing about the hotel was the staff. The room it self smelled terrible, sheets had stains, you don’t get a comforter you get a blanket and the pets can be loud. Unfortunately this was my first & last time at this place.
- Turessa (8/5): Very good -
- Le (8/5): Very good -
- Brandon (1/5): Bad - The location Key card to the door needed to be reprogrammed every day, it took 3 hours to get checked in, the manager checked us out the day before our check out date and tried locking us out of our hotel, the hotel staff that worked there lived in the hotel and the hotel smelled of multiple different drugs. I didn't like the cleanliness, the staff, had to wait almost 2 days for bed blankets and towels.
- Megan (6/5): The biggest issue I had was when they started renovating they said that they were starting with my floor and we were goi - The location was nice, very close to my work. The price per week was affordable and the room was a decent size. Also, the fact that they are pet friendly to large breed dogs was a huge plus. The kitchen was great, with actual size kitchen sink and fridge as well as a stove top and microwave. The bed/mattress wasn’t very comfortable. limited option for storage, only had one small dresser and a short shelf mounted to hang up clothes.
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Earazona (7/5): Good -
- Gregory (2/5): - I understand the place was starting to remodel but over all is a complete dump, room smelled awful, room was dirty and had roaches and bugs in it, would like to get my money back if I could, staff was friendly but that was the only good experience, will definitely not stay there again
- 636cynthiaj (10/5): Extended stay for business - I stayed at Woodspring Suites in Evansville, IN from 7/14/22 to 8/14/22 and it was a great experience. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and having the small kitchen and full size refrigerator allowed me to make my own meals instead of having to eat out. The staff was always very kind, professional and helpful. I will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.
- Louis (4/5): Disappointing -
- Roxanne (2/5): - the rooms were filthy and all the carpets were stained the cabinet doors were missing. the sheets had some kind of blue stains on them. The hallways smelled horrible. That place should be condemned! It is too bad such a fantastic staff works in such a terrible place.
