- Kevin (4/5): Disappointing - Location Overpriced. Smelled like a nursing home in yhe room. 3 occupants but only 2 towels. Small bath counter. No bath accessories, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Window blind didn’t close enough for privacy, or open. Beds were very cheap and uncomfortable.
- Marcella (9/5): Plain and simple but a good nights sleep - It was basic but that’s all I needed for one night. If I stayed longer there were amenities for me to cook and store food. I didn’t bring shampoo because I thought there would be some but no worries
- Larry (3/5): Never again would I stay at this place. -

- Ernest (1/5): The shit show continues - Absolutely nothing. Staff was unpleasant. I had spent 4 hours traveling and just wanted to relax in the room. Apparently my demeanor was not to their liking. I was a bit short with them, but did not insult or talk down to anyone.
Was trespassed from the hotel, and they threatened to take my dog and belongings.
- Zere (7/5): -
- Robert (6/5): Looking for a cheap temporary home for a lease? - Pretty average, some things in the room were broken or missing which wasn't much of a concern for my purposes but may be annoying to others. The general cleanliness was iffy but I didn't feel it was gross. They discounted me $30 for the missing utensil drawer which was nice and the staff were all very friendly!
- Deandre (10/5): - Everything and everyone is absolutely top notch beds soft people are nice and knowledgeable location great management is A1...... as in Ashley is the one lol stay at the woodsprings u won't be disappointed
- Rose (10/5): - The staff was immediate in getting things for us

- Johnson (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Bhaskar (4/5): - No hot water. Had to wake staff to check out (no information on early check out).
- Sandra (2/5): - To start the heater did not work and it was 40 degrees outside. Then the hot water was not hot but cool you had to jump in and out. To make things worse the check in time in my reservation said 11 am when we get to the hotel they said not until 2pm, they said they have no clue where Expedia received the wrong check in time.
Front staff not helpful and just rude.
- Cortland (4/5): - When I checked in, the front desk said they didn’t have any rooms left even though I had a reservation. They said they had two handicap rooms available but I couldn’t stay there bc I wasn’t handicapped even though it was 10pm at night. Then they said they had a room with two double beds but it was $50 more. They said I had to call Expedia, cancel, and then rebook. As many of u k ow that is not easy to do day of. They finally gave me a handicap room. U fortunately there was a lot of hair in the shower. And parts of the bed fell of in the middle of the night
- Thomas (1/5): Bad -
- Collier (7/5): Good -
- DONNA (4/5): - Odor of cigarettes in room and hallway. Very outdated. Had a kitchenette with no cups, silverware, coffee pot. Nothing. One small bar of soap in bathroom.
- Robert (8/5): - Didnt like that the water wouldnt get very hot. Bed not very comfortable and only 1 pillow per person which was flat.
- Richard (2/5): - No smoking policy is out the door first thing you smell is weed and cigarettes which my son had a very hard time dealing with. Stayed 2 nights no one came to clean or add towels definitely not returning.
- Jason (8/5): - Overall good. The room was space and not as comfy as I would have hoped. The hallways are very dull and it would be great to see better decor. Affordable and ok
- Mitchell (7/5): Good -
- Marcie (5/5): Passable -

- Winters (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michaelk (6/5): - Conveniently located near shopping hub.
- Francine (8/5): - The room was extremely clean, but it did have a very weird smell to it. It may have been the cleaning products that were not that pleasant but overall it was OK.
- Michaelk (8/5): - The mini kitchen is nice.
- Debose (5/5): Passable -
- Michaelk (8/5): - The room was excellent.
- Scott (1/5): Bad -
- Fernando (2/5): - Didn’t have a remote for the tv and they couldn’t find one. Shower rod was broken down . Just needed work in the room I was in
- Marcie (7/5): Good -
- Jerifa (5/5): Passable - The location was inconvenient, far from the main town. Infrequent buses. Also, no help's available in case of transportation, if needed. Today, I faced a lot of trouble while reserving transportation for my trip.
- Tiffany (7/5): Good -
- Coen (2/5): Terrible - Nothing Room smelled like smoke terribly. Bathroom was terribly disgusting dirty. Was in room for less then five minutes but the hotel is still arguing about a refund.
- Omar (6/5): - Loud guests who would hang outside and talk too long. Half the guests seemed to be travelers and half locals without a place to stay.
- I’m (10/5): - Great
- Midiamond (6/5): - It was clean but tv didn’t work
- Sjuts (7/5): Good - Great location and right on the bus line One pillow per guest is a little stingy and it would be nice to have a bench or somewhere to sit when you are smoking
- Stephen (7/5): TV issues - Price TV was intermittent over the course of the week!
- Jason (1/5): Bad -
- Jose (10/5): - Nice management
- Fabiola (1/5): Great location but not worth the stay - Location Smell, not clean, staff not available at the front desk
- Kamrul (1/5): Bad -
- rex (2/5): - My veichle was stolen from lot. They had cameras on all areas of parking 24 7. There was no one watching the cameras between 10pm and 9am. When i told staff the following morning they sauud they would look at videos. All day long they havent looked at videos when i che ked out at 530 pm. Staff was busy getting ready for reps coming soon. I made a police report and the cops did not follow up ghe following day for camera footage. Do not park any veichles here. They have residents that stay long periods.
- Matthews (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robyn (10/5): - Very interesting establishment full of wonderful people management is the most important part of any company and to hear and see God-fearing people with big hearts running an establishment is a blessing
- Nancy (6/5): - Nothing, very blah, room smelled, unfriendly staff.
Low price
- venkatesh (4/5): In expensive - Smelled bad over all, It was for a college visit, decent location, No reception, reception is just a window, There was a kitchen, Fridege and Micro wave, but no utensils. We requested an early check-in but they wanted to charge $50 for a 45 mins early check in. They finally allowed me to check in without extra. This won't me first choice if I go to Champaign again.
- Meghan (2/5): - Worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Reeks of smoke in hallways and rooms. No hot water no matter the time of day, which has been normalized there. Every negative review is correct, do not stay here. I feel awful for the folks who live here long term, because the hotel owners must think they don’t deserve better.
- Jordan (6/5): - I had no hot water and was unable to shower which was upsetting since i stayed there to b on time for a important appointment.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overnight in Champaign - Booked a suite based upon the picture and description but was just 2 queens.
Managers definition of a suite was different than mine, (being the beds separated from another part of the room) and would not refund the difference between a suite and non suite.
Had some noise issues with room above have had rooms where the walls were thin, but this was more floor to floor.
Youll need to ask for a hair dryer, our room didnt have it.
TV was tiny.
Good refrigerator and shower.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Champaign vacation - The 1st night the police were there looking for parents of a missing child. The weekend earlier in the night the smoke alarm went off and later on in the evening we were awakened by a fight that resulted in a car driven into the building and police activity.
- Molly (2/5): - The hotel is the worst ive ever stayed. The room smellled like dog. The bed was stained and looked like something from a garage sale. The staff seemed to be "high" off something. There was an actual refrigerator in the room, not clean, there was a hotplate or actual small "stove". DO NOT WAIST ANY MONEY HERE.
- Hutchison (1/5): Cancelled stay went somewhere else - Nothing The name fooled me
- Traci (4/5): - It smelled like smoke.
- Altin (1/5): Bad -
- Allison (2/5): - The room smelled terrible. There was no comforter on the bed. Would never stay there again.
- Peter (4/5): Awful - No blankets on the bed Had to go get them. Nit a trash can in the room any where, and the water wasn’t warm enough to take a shower. We will never stay there again. Oh the bed frame squeaked loud if you just twitched and I’m a small person.
- Danielle (1/5): Awful - I did not like it. Was not clean. Non smoking room smelled just like smoke and roaches. Roaches, smoke smell, not clean and staff used foul language and rude
- Berry (1/5): Bad -
- Seandrese (5/5): Passable -
- Douglas (2/5): - This non-smoking hotel smells like smoke, in the hallways and in my room.
The clerk is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. She doesn’t below in any customer facing position.
The clerk and this smokey hotel give Expedia and WoodSpring a bad name.
- Diorr (7/5): Good -
- Ernest (2/5): Only stayed there one night need some kind of refund - Nothing To much smoking on the fourth floor no room service forfree no coffee maker unless You bought one not even coffee in the lobby did not feel comfortable staying there.
- Kermaine (2/5): - Customer service was horrible, hots kept hanging up in my face I was not able to check in
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Guru (5/5): Passable -
- Dustin (4/5): - The room was fine. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke and animals.
- Gary (2/5): - This hotel was filthy. It was noisy. Kids jumping and stomping in the hallway through the night.
- Kikidee51 (4/5): Staying at a low income housing for less!! - There was always someone hanging out outside our room because so many families are living there on a regular basis. There was way too much activity at night outside the front entrance I'm in a wheelchair and I was put in a room where the door to the wash room allowed entrance but I was not able to use the facilities because the toilet was on the floor and there were no support bars anywhere! Why put someone like me in that room and the beds were so high off the floor I had to use my wheelchair for sleeping as well!!
- Susan (4/5): - Although close to an event we were staying overnight to attend, the Queen beds hotel room lacked bedspreads & blankets, the toilet tissue rack was broken, & toiletries consisted of one bar of soap. Despite proximity to the highway, it was fairly quiet at night, a good thing. We had to readjust the a/c as the room was frigid. I slept with socks on, due to lack of covers beyond sheets! The kitchenette included a full sink, fridge & microwave & the room had a sizable area to hang clothing, but there were just blinds, not curtains on the windows.
- Griffin (2/5): - I didn’t even get to stay a night. They called me the day before the wedding that I don’t have a room anymore. They offered no resolutions and were incredibly rude on the phone. Very unprofessional. I will never give business to this company and urge others to avoid them as well.
- Marc (1/5): Took the reservation but did not keep the reservation. Left me stranded. - Nothing. Never got to stay there. The fact that they apparently cancelled my reservation without telling me or Booking.com. Upon arrival, I was told the reservation was cancelled on their end and they had no rooms. I was left without a place to stay.
- Felix Reyes (8/5): - Cleaning
- Jason (4/5): - Smells like cigarette smoke, there are dogs barking, people sitting in the hallways. Appears more like government housing than a hotel.
- Christine (10/5): - The room was exactly what I was looking for. Hotel and room were clean.
Overall no major issues. The 1 thing I did have a problem with was that the desk clerks would not replace full set of towels. Also my stay was myself and 2 kids (so 3 guests) i asked for a 3rd set of towels and was told no. Even telling the clerk to check how many are in the room. She insisted i got 1 roll of towels. Ive never been told no to at least 1 set of towels per guest. That is an issue that needs to be addressed!!
- Diorr (4/5): Disappointing -
- Brian (1/5): Don’t try here!! - Nothing- I have booked this property twice through booking and both times they call and cancel the day before arrival - they couldn’t even make up a new excuse a year apart - they claim they had water pipe issues both times and cancel - guess they realize they could charge more on game day See above
