- melissarS9099QP (10/5): Pet friendly gem, with wonderful staff! - Longtime bonvoy member decided to stay at aloft during a quick overnight to Louisville. Mckenzie checked us in cheerfully and provided local tips and info especially for travel with our pups. This property does not disappoint! So much so that we decided to stay an extra night. Steps from Whiskey row if thats what brings you town, easily walkable to Yum arena or the riversise park area too. Hotel was really easy to find, and we were met outside by Quincy who was all smiles and with a kind offer to help us to our room with a bunch of dog stuff. He was such a pleasure. Room was spacious, with clear clean surfaces, closet, big comfy bed, roomy shower, mini fridge, coffee maker, super efficient a/c, plentiful outlets, and a beautiful city view! Wonderful staff made this stay so enjoyable (both days!). Thank you!

- Michele (10/5): Love Aloft! - Another wonderful stay!! We stay here every trip we make to head south to visit Family as Louisville is 1/2 way to our parents. This hotel is always Wonderful! The staff is great and so nice. The rooms are comfortable too. Check out Doc Crows across the street!! Excellent food. This time they were sweet to give us an upgrade due to the clogged sink on our previous stay 1 week earlier. Big Thanks!! Nothing!
- Michele (10/5): Great Place To Stay! - First of all the front desk staff is amazing! Super helpful & super kind!!! The rooms are always comfortable and clean. We had an issue with the sink drain and they had the engineer to our room in less than 10 minutes. He wasn't able to fix it, but brought back another tool later while we were out for dinner. The hotel location is perfect for enjoying restaurants and shops. Comfy beds and pillows, spacious bathrooms. Great fitness center. I wish we had the time to stay longer!

- Gordon (10/5): Louisville is a great city and the hotel was a great representation of that. - The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the room was very clean and decorated tastefully. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It was within walking distance to all of the major attractions we hoped to see in downtown and made visiting distilleries and tasting rooms downtown easy and safe.

I honestly feel like I’m family with the staff, especially Quincy. He is very prompt, attentive, and responsive with parking valet services. Above all, he is so very kind! I look forward to seeing him and having his support each visit.

- Edward (6/5): Not a horrible choice but not worth the price - The room was clean and spacious. Staff was kind. Location is near some great food choices. Amenities tell you that it has a continental breakfast. You will find out that it does but for a fee. The pillows are horrible. Pool table is nice but the cues were broken or missing the tips. There isn't a full set of bals either. Furniture in the lobby was not kept clean. Got woken up at 3:30 in the morning for the local garbage truck outside my windows. There is no microwave in the room and the small fridge is located under the sink.

It stated there was a continental breakfast "for a fee" however its not a continental breakfast you were just able to order off of a very limited menu

- Jake (6/5): - The carpet in my room was torn up in a spot as soon as you walk in the door. There was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The bathroom door was a sliding door with a 1 inch gap between the door and the wall it was up against, and the door didn’t even shut all the way, leaving at least a 4 inch gap. if there were two people staying in that room, every time someone would go to the bathroom, the other person would hear it and probably smell it. The toilet only flushed properly once out of every three or four flushes. It would usually just mix everything up in the toilet without draining anything out or it would be too weak to really do anything. The rolling chair in the room had stains all over it. This place was supposed to be a nice hotel, but I’ve stayed in nicer motels that cost a quarter of what I paid to stay here. That being said, the staff was very nice.

Their open kitchen concept makes the whole lobby smell of old grease, the smell stays on you. They also charged my card the full amount as “incidental fee”, which was very concerning as that was a significant amount of money while I was traveling.

There were a few things we didn’t care for in the room: (1) The toilet/shower area was separated from the bathroom sink by a door, but there was only one light switch that controlled both areas. (2) The sliding door to the toilet/shower area didn’t close all the way by design. (3) The toilet was very loud, and there was water on the floor around the toilet when we arrived. (4) There were very few drawers for clothes, so if you didn’t bring hangers then you’re leaving clothes in your suitcase. (5) The bed comfort level got mixed reviews. (6) You really had to slam the door to the room to get the latch to catch properly, so twice we left the room door slightly ajar since we didn’t slam it hard enough. Everyone on the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby was spacious, offering of seating in the lobby for us to meet with friends who were also staying at the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel lobby, called Corner, served very good burgers, cooked the food very quickly, and had great service (both the waiter and the bar staff were excellent). However, all four guests who purchased a hot breakfast sandwich at the hotel’s restaurant breakfast place, called Re:fuel, were very disappointed. So, I’d recommend eating at The Corner, but not at Re:fuel.
- Charles (10/5): Amazing weekend - It was an amazing spot right on whiskey row. Everyone i met on this trip the hotel staff, local bartenders and restaurants were amazing. I cam for the bourbon festival in bardstown but i would easily spend a weekend just in downtown Louisville and this hotel.

- Adam (4/5): - I am guessing that the thermostat has a motion sensor to it so we kept waking up through out the night hot. We would wave a hand to turn it back on and it would start right back up.We were also on the second level and constantly heard engine/exhaust noise all night.

- Dean (6/5): - I have stayed in a few Alofts over the years, and in general, they are very good. The Louisville site is a bit of a mixed bag. A great deal of construction is going on in the street area, which makes the hotel noisy (not their fault, but you just need to be aware). The rooms are very good overall, but for some reason, the flushing of the toilets is a bit of a loud experience. It sounds like a firecracker going off in the water. You can clearly hear at night this rather loud flushing sound in your rooms and others on your floor. The other area they could improve is the bar; it's a good, well-stocked bar, but lacks staff to handle any size crowd.

While ordering, it asks for your room number and states “let us know what room your in and we can call your room to let you know your order is ready”. We just ordered 2 cappuccino’s and waited for 30 minutes. I went down stairs and found out.. I have to make my own cappuccino using their machine. Just confusing honestly

- sandrarA2026WR (6/5): Skip the "breakfast for two" reservation option. - The room was quiet and clean, however, buyer beware of these first-world problems. The sliding privacy door separating the water closet from the rest of the room was HEAVY and tje "Breakfast for two" reservation add-on was a bummer: $30 credit toward a limited and poorly stocked/maintained menu of "to go" items only (hot items were wrapped in paper with no service ware). The only coffee available was the free coffee in the lobby/in-room (the espresso machino was broken). They were out of the sandwich option we preferred. The main take-away is skip the breakfast add-on option when making a reservation with Aloft. We are Marriott members, reserved directly through the Marriott site, and this was a quick anniversary trip.

- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect Location for events at KFC Yum Center - We were in town for a concert at the KFC Yum Center and the proximity could not have been better. Great, easy parking across the street ($30), good places for food and drink right outside the front door and we walked the 2 minutes to the concert. We did nothing but sleep in the room but the bed was comfortable and everything felt and looked clean. Welcoming staff. Would absolutely stay again.

The bathroom lacked shelving in the shower for your personal items plus there was nowhere to hang a wash cloth or hand towel by the sink. The view out of our window was the back of an old brick building. We kept the shades down.
