Guest Reviews
- Thaxter (9/5): The staff were so helpful and pleasant. - It was secluded and very peaceful, but not far to get into town Everything was perfect. There is absolutely nothing to complain about
- Hopkins (10/5): - We were completely charmed. had a wonderful stay... felt like a winter dream.
- David (10/5): - One of a kind. Great staff. Wonderful location
- Ken (10/5): One night romantic getaway - I entered the lobby, followed the directions and called and was promptly checked in. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hostess was very friendly and courteous. We were given a map of the grounds and of the general area. The location is very quiet, out of the way in the Pretty River Valley, just a short drive to Collingwood and all the attractions there. I would record a stay when the fall colours are at their peak.
They served a variety of choices for breakfast, buffet style. There's definitely no excuse for going away hungry. We had a great stay, wish we could have stayed longer.
- Carlos (8/5): - We really liked the Inn, except for the bed, very soft, it kept moving all night long, and we could not have a good rest.
Very good breakfast.
- Ann (10/5): - Lovely place will be back, breakfast alazing
- Quinn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jil (10/5): Exceptional - The inn was so cozy and peaceful. Its the perfect place to reset and unwind as it is surrounded by nature. They offered us a map to show all the activities we can do during our stay and I just find it so lovely. They have the pool, the jacuzzi, the sauna, the mini trail, the charming garden and many more. The staffs were so kind and accommodating as well. The inn is defenitely worth the visit.
- Lee (10/5): Calm and restorative environment - Beautiful quiet location. Loved the trees and the farm animals. Bathroom was very small.
- Justin (10/5): - Stayed there for one reason only … R&R. It was our second time there and the stay was just what the doctor ordered!
- Terri (10/5): - Love this quaint country inn! Close to Blue Mountain and Collingwood. Love the in suite fireplaces and the amazing homemade breakfast made for you. They have an
Indoor and outdoor hot-tub which we also enjoyed. Nice hiking or snowshoeing on the property with farm horses and reindeer you can visit. Always a great stay!
- Prachi (10/5): Exceptional - What an incredible experience! I loved the warm, cozy atmosphere, enjoyed spending time with the farm animals, and the indoor pool was delightful. I opted for a romantic package for extra $80 and it was worth it! Overall, it was an exceptional visit, and I'll definitely return in summer!

- Suzie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olga (10/5): An amazing hotel. Will definitely come back! - I liked everything about this property. The location is amazing, with forest trails, the horses, and the raindeers. It feels like home. People working there are extremely friendly. breakfasts are so yummy and homemade! nothing
- Judy (7/5): Good - Location and uniqueness of the Inn. Breakfast. Fruit and yogurt were good options. Hot option was a small portion lacking in taste and not hot.
Baked items were hard and not tasty.
- Murray (7/5): Overall, it was a good choice as a place for us to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary. - The location suited our needs well. The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed our walk around the property, following a marked trail. Friday’s breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the fire in our fireplace on Thursday evening.
We also enjoyed the indoors hot tub. There is very limited or no internet access. The fire in the fireplace on Wednesday evening flared up and almost immediately died out. Thursday’s breakfast was so-so. The coffee left much to be desired.
- Kamlesh (9/5): Superb - The location and breakfast.
- David (9/5): A real get away in a natural space - Very quiet and home like feel. Beautiful trails. The breakfast was excellent. Flavorful with fresh baking and fruit plus different hot specials
- Helen (6/5): - The staff are so great , they provided us with wonderful support during our stay. The room itself had an open fireplace so it smelled acrid and the bathroom door didn't shut. We walked the property, which is lovely, just needs maintenance.

Great facilities. Yummy breakfast.

- Robert (9/5): Hikers, bikers and skiers take note. an excellent base camp for 4 season adventures. - Real wood fireplace in room is great. Breakfast exceeded expectations Some water stains on ceiling, not a problem for us though.
- Martin (10/5): A Wonderful Stay - The room was very clean, comfortable and roomy. The temperature had been turned up, very welcome after coming in from outdoor temperatures of -12°C. After dinner we put a match to the paper stuffed under the wood left in the fireplace and that was all that was needed to have a nice crackling fire as we enjoyed the evening. After a great night's sleep, breakfast was excellent, including juice, tea, coffee, a lovely selection of pastries, fruit, yogurt, and culminating with an omelet and peameal bacon. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

- Bobbi-jo (9/5): Relaxing, serene, enjoyable and well needed. - Location was superb for me, but others should be aware there is a lot of dirt roads to get to location. Very quiet and serene never heard a peep from other patrons. Only the crickets, chickens and nature, was awesome. Loved the fact that the hot tubs are open 24/7 as long as you are quiet and respectful of course. Appreciated the bottled water and free soda in the fridge upon arrival. Enjoyed the fact that even after check out you may remain on property for the day. The Inn has thought of everything, slippers, robes, firewood, marsh mellows and sticks, hot coco, hot apple cider. A lot of little unexpected perks. Not wheelchair or mobility accessible, No hand rails on stairs or to get in pools/hot tubs. Need to install hooks for indoor hot tub. We were in studio room 6 and the view would have been awesome; had the pine tree blocking our view been trimmed of the dead brush so we could see the horses. Grounds are mucky in spots etc. again just so people are aware not a complaint. Would have like more options ie toast, bagel, eggs to order not just a generic one breakfast suits all. And again not a complaint but cell service is terrible (wifi is fine) but texting and calling out of the question for the most part.
- Arnold (8/5): Very good - We loved the breakfast and the grounds. The staff was very friendly. There was a mildew smell in the room and common areas.
- Maria (9/5): It was great, probably we will go again, staff is very friendly - Love that is surround it by nature and you can relax

- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bevan (9/5): Superb -
- Mitchell (9/5): Superb - The property is beautiful, with horses and reindeer to see and trails to explore on snowshoe (provided for free). The room was comfortable, with a private bathroom and fireplace. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub as well! Breakfast was delicious and everyone who worked at the inn was friendly and helpful.
- Lisa (6/5): - Homely cute farm
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Happy Couple (10/5): - I will definitely go back to the place. It is my first time in a B.B. I was a little afraid to try one but the staff and the owner Paul made us feel so comfortable. The breakfast are so delicious. The place was so beautiful too. Thanks for everything. We will be back next year.
- Ellian (8/5): Wood burning fireplace room with great service - This B&B is located on a farm and everyone was exceptionally friendly. I was initially concerned about noise coming from other rooms in the home but the walls appeared to be soundproof, with only a little noise coming from through the door from the hallway – but less than any hotel as there are only a few rooms. Each room was a bit dated but had a nice homey, rustic feel to it. I loved the wood-burning fireplace – it was the main reason we chose this property. We didn’t get to use the hot tub as we checked in late but it looked really nice in the solarium. The breakfast was amazing – everything was homemade with many homegrown ingredients. I would’ve purchased their pastries if they would sell them! Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Weekend at blue mountain - Rustic, comfort lodging surrounded by nature's beauty. We had to leave early the day of departure & the staff delivered a personal breakfast to our room so we wouldn't miss out.
