El desayuno buffet fue un caos, esperando por platos limpios y la comida llega por partes estuvimos un rato esperando mesa y la comida, se que fue una fecha de evento pero se puede tomar previsiones. Algunos desperfecto en habitacion y en ducha las amenidades escasas. Por la relación del precio por persona creo un poco elevado el costo de habitación.

It was an oasis and the amount of work an detail to the grounds and gardens was extraordinary! The room was big and spacious. The pool was so unique! The staff, Bibi was very helpful and the kitchen staff made the best breakfasts….fruit, eggs, pancakes, bread, cheese juice and awesome coffee! Everything was amazing!

Si llevas carro es más cómodo, y tiene lugar de estacionamiento enfrente; aunque el pueblo es pequeño y no esta demasiado lejos del centro (si te gusta caminar)
- Dave (10/5): I had a very enjoyable time staying at this excellent hotel which I would definitely recommend. - I loved the three full days I spent at Macon Che. The setting wiith the gardens is very lovely, and the sculptures and artwork around the hotel grounds make it even more attrctive. I also loved my traditional style room which was spacious and comfortable. The staff were especially friendly which enhanced my stay even more. I had breakfast included in my stay. It was buffet style with coffee, Mexican Eggs, pancakes and fruit, all well prepared and tasty. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again if the opportunity arises. There was nothing I didn't like.

Malheureusement, nous ne sommes restés qu'une douzaine d'heure sur place à cause de notre planning, ce qui signifie que nous n'avons pas pu profiter convenablement des installations proposées. Les points forts: - Petit parking privé en face de l'établissement - Accueil sympathique - Magnifique jardin ou sont disséminés les différents logements - Bungalow avec quatre lits (deux doubles de 140, deux lits simples) spacieux et confortables, équipés de moustiquaires - Grande salle de douche avec de l'eau chaude matin et soir - Internet fiable - Petit-déjeuner simple mais bon Points faibles / à améliorer: - Payement plus que suggéré en cash (Pesos ou dollar) - Situation un peu à l'écart du centre-ville (15 minutes à pied) - Présence d'un chien dans la propriété qui a aboyé non-stop durant deux heures en début de soirée

Fijn dat de gastheer je koffer op de fiets naar je huisje brengt, vanwege het grint. Lekker ontbijt en prima airco op de kamer en een eigen water tappunt. Wel erg fijn mer de warmte, zodat je er beter voor zorgt dat je voldoende drinkt. De waterdruk in de douche is niet echt goed, dus weinig waterstraal. Daarnaast zou het zwembad wat meer af gemaakt kunnen worden. Vloer in het zwembad is erg oneffen, wat niet echt fijn voelt. Verder prima verblijf.
- Odry (9/5): Gartenidylle - Super tolle Anlage, sehr hübscher Garten. Die Zimmer des Bungalows waren kreativ und sehr individuell gestaltet. Der Parkplatz liegt gegenüber. Es gibt Wasser kostenfrei. Man kann auf dem Zimmer Kaffee kochen Ein Kühlschrank wäre noch schön gewesen.

- Anais (10/5): - Excellente adresse. Nous y étions il y a presque vingt ans et c'est toujours aussi bien. Le propriétaire a changé depuis mais est toujours aussi sympathique et accueillant. Nous avions un joli bungalow au milieu d'un jardin luxuriant avec une belle piscine et avons aimé entendre le chant des oiseaux, le calme du lieu, l'excellent petit déjeuner et la gentillesse des personnes qui nous ont préparé ce bon buffet en self service. Nous avons un vrai coup de cœur pour la ville d'Izamal, la beauté du lieu, la gentillesse des habitants et la vie paisible qui y règne. En logeant au Machan Ché garden hôtel, on était tout près à pied du centre d'Izamal. Également, l'hotel dispose de son parking, c'est pratique. Rien, peut-être des transats au bord de la piscine à remplacer.

- Drisdelle (10/5): Unique and relaxing haven to rest and enjoy. - Unique and tranquil environment of lush tropical plants, comfortable accommodation, hearty breakfast, friendly staff, very relaxing ! We loved this place and highly recommend to other travellers. It’s got an Indian-inspired Buddhist vibe, highly quality grounds and buildings, and we were lucky to take part in an early morning yoga class for a modest fee. I would visit again! Liked everything about it.

Beautiful garden, natural pool and very nice bungalows, rooms etc. Would absolutely recommend the place. Breakfast was also nice, fresh fruit, pancakes, juices, coffee, eggs and toast, all in the form of a small buffet. can't think of anything, oh maybe onething; if you want to pay with creditcard a (small) surcharge is charged; which I did not have in any of the other hotels

- Sarah (10/5): A lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful environment - would love to go back. - The lovely relaxing laid back and beautiful tree and flower filled environment. In amongst this were several water features and old statues - felt a bit like being in a forest peppered with different and varied lodges - some of which are still being slowly renovated but this is not a building site at all but very calming and an easy place to while away the hours including morning options for yoga which we both thoroughly enjoyed - definitely a lovely and memorable way to start the day. The help yourself breakfast was very nice - plenty of fruit and eggs, good coffee and gorgeous wholemeal bread and things were kept topped up. It's a nice short stroll down charming flower filled streets into town which is delightful - and the huge convent is lovely and there are pre-hispanic pyramids to see in the town too. Wish we'd had another night here - one of our favourite places we stayed. We recommend it wholeheartedly and would definitely stay here if going back. And if you're coming by car there is free parking just across the street too. Can't think of anything

- Robert (9/5): Tropical forest in the middle of the city - Perfect location just a few blocks and 5 minute walk from the city centre. The hotel is in fact a multi-building complex, tucked away in a tropical forest setting. Very genuine. The staff was struggling to keep up prepairing breakfast for all the guests - when they were prepairing a new batch of scrambled eggs, the coffee ran out, when they prepared the eggs, the bread ran out and so on. We eventually got everything, but we had to wait a bit.

- Paula (8/5): We’re so glad to have met the owner and friends who were hospitable and welcoming! - This is a one of a kind hotel with charming bungalows sitting in a jungle-type garden setting. We were well taken care of by the manager, staff and sweet dog Otto. Nothing except the location is a little far from the town center for those who have difficulty walking.

- Gillian (6/5): Beautiful surroundings, sub par accommodation and overpriced. - The grounds are delightful - pretty much as I expected. The pool itself is very sweet, if small. The breakfast was very good. Where do I start. The whole place is a massive missed opportunity. The room was quite big but had only a bed and one bedside table in it. No chairs or desk which would have made it way more comfortable. The toilet kept malfunctioning and we knew it wasn't worth it trying to get it fixed. Things were fairly clean, but definitely not spotless. Our bed was made up once in a 3 day stay. Nothing else done - dirty bathroom sink, untouched toilet and the bin holding our toilet paper never emptied. We ran out of toilet paper and had to steal from the pool bathroom. The bedsheets good, but the pillow pretty hard. The shower had extensive black mould on the wall behind the shower head. It became pretty apparent that the staff were not really supervised or held to any standard or even supervised properly. Tourist information in English at the front desk would have been helpful. I did not see the pool being cleaned while we were there and there were lots of hot bodies in it. No shower by the pool. I did not go in. 3 hammocks, one uncomfortable chair and two wood loungers with no cushions. One of the loungers collapsed when I sat on it as one of the legs had rotted through. I tipped it on its side and it was taken away a couple of hours later. Pool towels were not provided - we had to ask at the front desk. The place is German owned and the vast majority of guests were a German group who were there for a couple of weeks, doing yoga and meditation classes. They had dinner each night in the very pleasant palapa dining area. Information did say that we could order dinner an hour ahead and it would be provided as well as wine an a bar. Never saw the bar or a menu or prices. No English spoken - small town so not surprising. But we felt like uninvited guests among the myriad of German speaking tourists and owner. It would cost fairly little to make this a prize destination. Along with proper maintenance and staff supervision.

- Wendy (6/5): Inexpensive and it shows - Very pretty garden. Overall, cleanliness was lacking. The reception couch is covered with dirt from the dog that barks at you and runs wild. The rooms all those surface clean, seemed a little dirty. The bedding was questionable as far as cleanliness goes. When the man at reception was not on his phone on a personal call. He was helpful, but you did have to kind of wave at him to get him off the phone with his personal calls.

- Noga (7/5): Good stay in Izamal - This compound run by a German manager in izamal is very nice with many houses/rooms in a large garden. Breakfast was good and fresh. Walking distance to downtown. Overall good stay, spacious somewhat basic room. Nothing stood out, it was a solid option in Izamal.

Très grande salle de bain, tout était propre et petit déj copieux et varié sous forme de buffet. Une très bonne adresse pour visiter Izamal. Le centre-ville est suffisamment loin pour que ce soit calme et suffisamment proche pour y aller à pied sans problème. Petit bémol, une moustiquaire trouée au niveau d'une fenêtre et la poubelle des toilettes pas entièrement vidée à notre arrivée.

- Loic (9/5): Great stay. - Nice location and about 15min walk from the centre and Covent. The garden was great and quite relaxing. The pool was also great with real rock and kind of looked like a Cenote. Check-in and checkout was very easy and staff friendly. The suite was spacious and clean with good air con. The breakfast was good, simple and tasty perfect for the start of the day. The hotel has a car park across the road with is covered. Great stay and would recommend. There was some light wells on the ceiling that let the light through. So the room get quite bright and it was an early-ish wake up with the light. Not a big issue but to bear in mind.

- Lisa (9/5): Superb - A perfect place to visit with kids; it's like staying in a mini jungle—lush and green, with bungalows scattered around the property. The pool is unique as it's designed like a cenote, the breakfast is excellent and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Izamal is a great town to stay; it's small and calm and very pretty, all the buildings are painted a bright sunny yellow. And the food is great.
- Joanne (6/5): sorry to say below our expectation. - The pool was amazing.....beautiful clear water. We loved it. The room needs some love. There was no mirror in the bathroom. there was a bar of soap but no shampoo or anything else. The bed sheets were not very nice quality.
- Chemouny (9/5): Superb - Rooms are in a beautiful setting, surrounded by a lovely tropical garden. We were a family of 4 in one large, comfortable and nicely decorated room. We enjoyed the original swimming pool and the good breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is about a 15-minute walk from centre of Izamal which was also lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Filtered water in the room. Comfortable bed. We felt very welcome and at home here. The room we stayed in wasn't quite finished, but was still comfortable. I think because it was quite new.

From the beautiful gardens to the sweet little pool, the great little cabins, the staff, and the breakfast, everything is perfect. The new host Monty is a warm, friendly welcoming young man. Like I said,, it's perfect. There is nothing that I would change.
- Brooke (10/5): Fantastic place to stay in a wonderful city! - The breakfast was phenomenal. We actually left early to see ruins one morning, and we were left with a “to-go” bag of fruit and cookies, which we didn’t even expect. The day we stayed for breakfast was amazing. The room was large and clean (great water pressure). While it wasn’t “downtown”, we were fine with that and it’s an easy walk. The grounds are beautiful and the kids had a great time in the pool. There was also a giant water dispenser in the room that was nice to have. The ONLY negative I can think of is something that probably just couldn’t be helped because of the weather (so not owner’s fault). The room was difficult to cool down one evening because it was over a 100 degrees, but that’s to be expected. We really didn’t have any complaints. Oh, it might be nice to have a mini fridge in room to keep things cool, but maybe there are in the long-stay rooms.

Los dueños y el personal no te apoyan si necesitas algo, parece que están muy ocupados en asuntos personales y se molestan si los distraes para solitar algo.

- Michael (9/5): Relaxing and friendly - We were very happy with breakfast. Basic but exactly what we needed and wanted. A big plate of fresh fruit, fresh warm tasty bread served with butter, jam and cheese and your choice of 2 styles of eggs or pancakes and of course coffee. The staff served everything up with a big smile. The overall atmosphere was very relaxing, friendly and inviting. Loved the hotel grounds and the pool is really cool. The walk into the city Center took maybe 10 minutes and that was walking slow.
