• Steve (5/5): Served the purpose. - I needed a room along my route and that fit the bill. The breakfast was in the Esso station and not part of the Super 8. Walk in the station and got towards the back. Wasn't told that, so I looked lost trying to find it. The room, the last one on the second floor, was a little worn out, and rough.

• Jacqueline (2/5): Not a pleasant experience - I have stayed in more than oneSuper 8 motels and they were by far better than this one, limited internet, when asked the front end staff why I could not connect there was no explanation but then maybe I wasn’t understood because english wasn’t there first or second language. It served my purpose I was in Smoky Lake for a funeral but next time I will try and find different arrangements. Also very noisy. People running around outside half the night. At one point I didn’t feel safe. Everything

• Brian (3/5): Avoid Smoky Lake - AC was so loud you couldn't hear neighboring guests or highway. Entire town is dirty and trashy. Motel inside is ok, but outside is bad. Beds were very lumpy. Wifi essentially non-existent.

• Jim (8/5): - Pro - Staff was excellent to deal with, check in and out was easy and done efficiently. Easily and quickly adressed any requests we had. Con - Room temp was turned all the way down (12 degrees in the winter) when checked in. The electric baseboard heaters take a very long time to warm up the room when its set that low. I understand the conseravtion of energy when the room is not in use, but the room should have been set up accordingly that morning. Overall, would stay there again. :)

• Brianna (4/5): Disappointing - Room was old, toilet was leaking, bathroom fan that turns on when light is on sounded so loud like it was gonna explode, tv remote was broken, very loud, bed shook when people walked past room, and at 11pm I woke up to the hotel phone ringing to be asked if I drive a black truck or know anyone at the hotel that drives one which was very maddening to be awoke for this when they have a paper you fill out when checking that you say your vehicle make model and licence number.

• Shannon (8/5): We've stayed in many motels and this was actually one of the nicest. - The bed was super-comfy. Access was close to everything. The convenience store is right there so that's handy. I love the little town and we will be back to stay there next year. Just that there was only a quarter roll of toilet tissue when we first came, and next day after housekeeping came, we were not given an extra roll. And there is room in the bathroom to add a towel rack (just saying). Also, I know the rooms are small, but only one armchair per room is not comfortable. The computer chair was not good for relaxing and the bed is awkward to just sit back. Some people including me and my husband both, need to have feet on the floor. So the 2 of us alternated. There would be room to add a second chair.
