Guest Reviews
- Judy (10/5): - Check in and out were fast, friendly and easy. Room was clean. We had everything we needed and no problems!! đ
- Josh (10/5): - Great
- John (8/5): - It was nice and quiet.
- Clyde (8/5): Comfortable but dated - The Park Inn is a comfortable place to stay but is very dated. No breakfast but there is a great cafe just a few steps away.
- Harley (10/5): - Good rates and beautiful rooms!
- Dana (8/5): It worked for our needs. - This place was better than I expected. Room was clean, hot water was good, bed was comfortable, mini fridge and microwave was a plus. In-room coffee was TERRIBLE.
:( The night we stayed there were maybe 6-8 rooms total booked, parking lot was quiet and empty.
- Wendi (8/5): - The rooms are clean and simple. Window units for A/C; which blocks out noise. Owners are very nice.
- Julie Beth (4/5): - Crickets were swarming everywhere, outside and inside.
- Amal (10/5): - Nice clean easy pull up and accepts dogs
- Walter Drew (8/5): - Older property. Low price.
- Michelle (2/5): POS - This motel was disgusting. There were stray cats everywhere, cat food bowls and plates around the property. There were makeshift grills set up outside multiple rooms. Which, is evident people are living there which is in violation of the fire code. We will be contacting the fire marshals office in regards to this. The motel room were extremely dirty. They charged my card and refused to refund it even though we didnât stay there because it was such a dump.
- Henry (2/5): - The room was somewhat clean but poorly furnished. I went to a casino in Oklahoma and when I returned around 10:00 PM, there were people outside their rooms grilling and drinking alcohol. A large truck was parked directly across from my room making it difficult to park in the space next to my room. I left the location and went to find better accommodations. I finally found a Candlewood Suites in Wichita Falls where I spent the night. This place looks more like a low cost long term rental location than a 8.4 rated hotel. Iâll definitely steer clear of this place in the future!
- Sharon (10/5): Traveling Flea Market Shopper - The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was welcomed on day one. The ice machine was a definite plus. Great 2 day stay.
- Kathey (8/5): - The floor were dirty and there was hair in bath tub. But it was very Quiet.
- Gary (8/5): - Old and needs work...
- ashok (4/5): - It was renovated but floor was uneven, up and down it went, Bedding comforters were torn. Room was hot, it is in tx, ac was off completely so room got really hot. We were there for one night and were sweaty for long time as it took long time to cool the room. They shud keep ac like 76/78 so room does not go to like 90.
- Tracy (10/5): - Donât let the outside detour you from staying here. Room was nice and clean. Would stay here again.
- David (10/5): Suitable for Overnight stays - I was looking after some business in the area, and needed a place to stay overnight. This place suited my needs at a very reasonable price. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable with WiFi service that allowed to to continue to work.
- Mary (8/5): - Nice large room
- Stephanie (8/5): - Iâd stay again
- Martin (10/5): - A good, quiet, clean, safe place to stay in Bowie.
- April (8/5): - Very clean. Great stop on our trip. Our only complaint was that we found the beds a bit hard.
- Carla (4/5): - Issue with check in..glass partician wanted me to pay twice.. No amenities
- Ricky (10/5): Good deal on a clean comfortable room - The place was clean and all the compliances worked well. Even have a coffee pot in the room. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
- charles (10/5): Great stay - Friendly people, clean comfortable rooms, fridgerator with freezer, microwave, fast wifi and Direct TV.
- Dennis (8/5): - Price

- Mary (10/5): - Come on 1 pk coffee 1 pk shampoo for 2 people in room
- Gary (6/5): - Property is old, but clean.
- Maurice (10/5): Great Stay Option in Bowie, TX - Very clean room. No noise. Mattress was very comfortable - great sleep. Large selection of channels on TV. Professional and Personable staff.
- Martin (10/5): - Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, reasonably priced, & secure accommodation. What more do you need?
- vicky (8/5): Comfy bed - Small room. Comfy bed
- ray (8/5): - Good place to sleep.
- Vincent (4/5): Not returning - Dirty
Out dated
- Dan (10/5): Great value and room - Friendly service, clean and affordable room
- Michael (8/5): - Not a bad place to stay little older hotel, but clean, comfortable beds could not get in the lobby and there is no breakfast but all in all not a bad stay
- mary (10/5): Nothing Like Small Town Texas - I was driving from Colorado to Houston and had some car issues so decided to stop in Bowie. Glad I did. The motel was comfortable, felt safe, and the owner(?) was very helpful. He gave me the name of a mechanic to check in with in the morning.
- James (10/5): - Love this place
- James (10/5): - Love this place
- Tammy (8/5): - I think a swimming pool would have been nice but overall it was good place to stay
- Saundra (10/5): Would stay again - Great staff, cute and cozy and have stayed a few times. Great value
- JoDee (2/5): "Bates Motel" vibe - The motel had serious "Bates Motel" vibes as soon as we pulled up. It was raining and we weren't allowed into the motel lobby. I stood outside to check in. The clerk was nice and informative about the weather but the experience was fear inducing. When we got to the room, there were some bugs in the floor and the bathtub but it was late. We checked for bed bugs and decided maybe it was the rain. We made sure to put the chair in front of the door before trying to sleep. In the morning light, the floor boards were pieced together and there were gaps in the door.
- angela (2/5): - Roaches and too small only stayed one night
- charles (10/5): Clean and comfortable place to stay. - Always clean with friendly people. I stay at Parks Inn Bowie several times a year.
- Karen (10/5): - Exceptionally clean, convenient location and great food at restaurant next door. Laundromat on site, parking in front of door. Quiet neighborhood. Microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator in room.
- Andrew (10/5): - Great little place
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not good - Rude check-in, not even allowed in the lobby. Room was dusty, even the fake wood paneling was dusty. Chipped paint on doorways, very unkempt.
- James (10/5): - Always a pleasure to stay here!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The bed wasnât comfortable at all and I believe there was bed bugs also they charged 10 bucks for my kids
- charles (10/5): - On the outside it doesnât look like much but the rooms are nice. A little dated, but itâs not the ritz. I would stay here again no questions asked
- Martin (8/5): - They could use some higher wattage bulbs around the sink - available light was very poor for shaving. Bedside lamps could stand an upgrade on wattage as well.
- Marcy (10/5): - Recently renovated. Comfortable. We appreciate the affordable price!
- Bruce (6/5): - I know it was a 10 * property but for $86 I expected a little more modern
- moris (10/5): - Close to a restaurant that serves a good breakfast. It was close to where we were helping at a church. Staff was nice.
- Rebecca (10/5): - I love the simplicity of this place! Smooth checkin and friendly staff.
- dietrich (8/5): Good motel - One night trip and was good location and nice Staff. Basic motel
- Verified traveler (8/5): One night stay... - No frills motel perfectly priced for a place to sleep. Comfortable bed, ac worked perfectly considering how hot it was, tv with a lot of channels, mini frig, and microwave. Only negative was the light fixture in the bathroom was full of dead bugs. Even with that I would stay here again for the price.
- Chuck (10/5): - Easy check in and great room. Very clean
- Joy (8/5): - The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower 5 stars.
- David (10/5): - Clean and easy access
- Shirley (10/5): - I had an overnight for a family funeral. The room was perfect for my needs-extra clean, comfortable, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, ecnomical. I would stay here again. Highly recommend it.
- Lupe (2/5): Bed bugs - Bed bugs!!! We got there late, and it was just to sleep a couple hours but my husband tossed and turned cause of the bed bugs
- Carrie (8/5): - After having a long drive, it was nice to rest and sleep in a place that was clean, quiet and inexpensive. It is an older hotel/motel, but the bedding and bed were super clean and comfortable. The towels were small, thin and older, but were still clean. The outside of the building is old, but again, once you go inside your room, it has been updated with newer laminate flooring and it is clean. Furniture is all old as well. This place is a great option when youâre passing through for one night.
- Joseph (10/5): - Just love the coziness of the rooms with old style wood paneling but modern bathroom. Next to great restaurant, across from park and near gas station and other restaurants/fast food. Only grip is the train blows it's horn at 6 in the morning all the way through town but that's not Parks Inn's fault.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Clean bathroom with great shower pressure. so affordable as well. Diner right in the patking lot & Mexican Restaurant right across the street. Lovely city park within walking distance also.
- Cheryl (8/5): - It needs an upgrade.
- Stephen (8/5): - The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the coffee machine worked. no issues noted.
- Mark (8/5): Parks Inn - Quiet location, clean room, decent bed, older motel that could use some updating but was good for a one night stay passing through
- Nathan (10/5): - We stayed there on a long trip home from a funeral. The bed was fairly comfortable and, the room was clean. The pillows were a little lacking but, it was a good experience for the most part. We would stay there again if we were in the area.
- Matt (8/5): - Room was clean and they did well to modernize it. I was happy for price and location
- Martin (10/5): - Nothing really unique, just a nice clean room, comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. Other than a train going by once a night, very quiet. The train didn't bother me, reminded me of my first home and growing up.
- Randall (8/5): Good sleep for the price - A good clean place for the price. Food right next door.
- Denise (6/5): Okay for overnight - My rating reflects the exterior and the interior. The exterior is extremely sketchy - we had second thoughts about checking in. However, the room itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Bed was comfortable snd area was quiet. We were there only one night so it served the purpose.
- rosely (10/5): - The place was quaint and clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): 2022 Updated - This recently updated, budget-friendly hotel has close proximity to our grandkids. It's clean & comfortable for us to rest before returning.
- Laurie (10/5): - Nice clean property in good location.
- Paul (8/5): - Very clean, very good value
- John E (8/5): - Good place to stay if youâre working in town or passing through.
- Tammara (8/5): - I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the property was well maintained.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a rest stop on our way to Louisiana. The room was clean and everything in it was working.
- Gary (10/5): - Great for a quick stop in route to DFW. Would stay there again.
- Gabino (10/5): - Very clean room and great service.
- Lionel (8/5): - It is a clean property, somewhat parking space. There is a restaurant right next to it to eat breakfast. Room was clean with refrigerator. Coffee for one person , that is the only thing that could be better
- William (4/5): - After a long days drive, nothing like laying your head on a brick. Get real pillows!
- Dustin (10/5): - Price wise was worth the stay
- Dewayne (10/5): - Good property.
- Martin (10/5): - Clean, comfortable bed and room. I stay here every time I'm in Bowie.
- Dorothy (6/5): - Was surprised that the management allowed a large group of guys to gather outside our door. Party lasted 3 hours with lots of noise and music. We could not sleep and sure we were not the only ones.
- Gabino (10/5): GREAT CLEANED MOTEL - This is the second time I've stayed at Park Inn Motel. Use to drive to Decatur to stay at a Hotel in that City. I took my chances staying at a Motel in Bowie Tx. and was very impressed on how both rooms been so Cleaned each time. Definitely will be staying there each visit every month.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A motel, nothing more - It's. Beyond me how people can rate this motel "fabulous" and "excellent." The property is totally dated, doesn't offer a breakfast, the room was dark, the towels were small and certain ly not plush, and the handsoap was the tiniest I r seen in years. Still, the cost with tax was right at $70 in a tiny place in Texas. So what's fabulous a out that? It was clean, and the bed was a bed. It's a place to stay overnight, and nothing more.
- Eva Marie (10/5): Clean and spacious. - I was very happy to have a spacious room that was very clean. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. The price was great. I loved the real coffee pot even though it was small. I got to make real coffee in the AM. I would defiantly stay again. Thank you!
- Gabino (10/5): Cleaned Room & Great Service - 1st time staying at this motel, i using drive down to Decatur Tx. to stay at a Hotel while selling as a vendor in Bowie tx. I had my doubts but was too tire to drive this time and tried out Park's Inn motel and was VERY impressed of how Clean my room was. Definitely will be staying at this location each month. Thank You staff for a Great Clean room and visit.
- Anne (10/5): Worth driving a little extra - An absolutely adorable retro style motel that filled my heart with nostalgia. Donât expect fancy, expect to be treated like a family guest.
- Steve (4/5): Drive on! - A rating of 4, would be generous. In order to get a WiFi connection, go outside to the parking lot. Maybe, it would stay when reentering the room but if so - it would drop out within minutes.
No washer/dryer service as the âwasher is out of waterâ. (Whatever that means.). A laundromat is a 1/2 mile away. In need of a major renovation.
- John (8/5): - đ
- James (10/5): - Had a great stay, this hotel is great
- James (10/5): - Nice quiet place to stay.
- John (8/5): Nice - Very clean and comfortable , a little dated but the price per night compensates for that...property in excellent shape..will stay again for sure
- Fay (8/5): - Neat and comfortable and if the rooms are a bit dated. Very nice folks!
- Laurie (10/5): - Nice place for quiet stay. Friendly people
