The toilet broke also and we called to get it fixed and by the next day it was still not fixed but we eventually got a new room that didn’t smell bad and also had a working toilet

• A9507SVstacyh (6/5): Care nothing for guest comfort - My employer put me up for a two week stay. I have 3 main complaints with this hotel first understand I work night shifts so the hotel has a closed front desk 11 pm-7am so get back at around 530-6 am to go to bed. They only allow 2 tiny towels for a 2 week stay if you want more you have to exchange the dirty for clean so i have to track someone down when im trying to leave for work. The worst is they know i work nights and put a notice on my door that sometime tomorrow when im suposed to be sleeping they will be performing an alarm inspection and i must allow acess to the room. Wont set a time with me for after 3 pm so i can still get sleep. Wont even give .net a time just sometime tomorrow. I pray im not stuck here again also no breakfast or soaps. Not worth the money.

• U8875YTcraigc (2/5): Worst hotel in 6000 miles - This motel was the worst experience for me and my wife in 6000 miles redlight on the hwy truckers and jake brakes all night the first room sewer was plugged told manager she gives us draino and said the last guest had to buy a plunger what really the new room the door didnt lock unles u lifted up on it she told us after 2 days then she used a pass key when i was out came in my room saw zig zags on my desk said i was smokimg in the room which i never did charged me 250 dollars for smokin in the room i didnt. small town small town mentality cant rob from oil workers anymore i guess they gotta get it somewhere
• John (2/5): - Very creepy, at 8:12 am my door opened, fortunately my latch had the door locked. Doesn’t that seem early for room service to be cleaning the room? The front desk said they wanted to see if I was still there... Very odd to me.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Staff seemed very unhappy. Bed was absolutely uncomfortable and the only options for the entire hotel were a full size bed which is never a good idea especially for a couple or family.
• Debra (4/5): - Shabby building. Obviously built hastily with inexpensive materials. The desk attendant spent a lot of time outside smoking with other guest, clearly regular renters. She was not rude but not overly accommodating.

• jessegM4900PX (2/5): A complete Joke - Got to are room had no shower curtain no towels no soap no shampoo no cable tv, informed the front desk about the cable tv, she told me to come to the front desk and get a new cable box and remote control. Told her I was going to bed thinking they would have it fixed for the next night, I was wrong. They also informed me they do not supply soap and shampoo, but our other room had it, total lie. After we checked out I asked for a discount, I was told I would get a discount on my next stay. Complete joke. There is a lot of good motels in Watford City that won’t lie to you, stay away!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Brief stay then one our way - Hotels.com should not have allowed us to book as the had double rooms full but the hotel gave us a single room at a discount even though it wasn’t a mistake on their end. So hotel 4-5 stars and hotels.com 3 stars
• Ted (4/5): Questionable!! - Made a reservation online. Checked in an hour later and was told they did not have any rooms. Told her I had a confirmation number and she said again she has no rooms. I said it’s a Thursday evening and you are completely full and have no available rooms? She said no, she does not have any clean rooms left. It was approximately 10 pm and apparently the remaining rooms have not been cleaned. I said it looks like you need more help or better staff. To which she replied they need more help. She then said she would be right back because she was going to check on a few rooms. She returned a few minutes later and said she found one that was ready. Room appeared to be clean but not sure if she just made the bed for me or if it was cleaned earlier. Will find another motel next time.
• L1186PZlindsayb (10/5): "A Home away from Home!!!" - We moved here from Alaska and are waiting for our house to be built so we came to the Woodspring Suites and so glad we chose it. From the first time walking in the door to every single day; we are greeted with a very warm greeting. It doesn't matter how many times a day we walk through the entry way or walk by an employee, they are all very very welcoming and helpful. I truly feel like they go over and beyond for their guests. A lot of oil field workers stay here and are very pleasant and respectful. We have been here for almost three months and it has always been very clean and well staffed. It has really made our stay exceptionally great. Just to name a few of the hard working super sweet rock stars: Sabrina, Michelle, Thomas, Malachi, and DeAnndra. You all have been amazing to me and my family and wont ever forget it. I will definitely be coming back if we ever need to and I will recommend this hotel to everyone. Here's some of the perks of this hotel: Best Staff Cleanliness Large refrigerator Pets welcome with only a $25 deposit field to walk dogs through And kids :) Outside BBQ area Room is well lit and spacious (we have five people in our room (3 kids, 2 adults)) close to shopping (Family Dollar has everything) Quiet and peaceful Couple of things that I think would make my stay better: A playground for the kids A pull out extended countertop in kitchenette would rock!

• rlb2112 (6/5): Good for what it is, but.. - Our crew walked in and rather than the usual welcome to _____, we were greeted with "I'll need your ID and sign this release to conduct a background check" to get things started. Sort of felt like we were dealing with jailers at county jail rather than checking into a hotel. Other than that, for a zero frills establishment it's great for the working man or hunter who doesn't need much besides a bed, plastic chair, bathroom and a kitchenette. I was easily able to hear my neighbors hip hop music and a phone conversation with the other. My sleep sounds app helped drown out the road noise.
• Timothy (8/5): Pleasant stay - This has been renamed WoodSpring Suites and is geared for long term stay. Pleasant, sociable, accommodating staff. Very clean and large room. Large kitchenette and bathroom. Comfortable bed, but didn't care for the pillows. No breakfast, kleenex or hair dryer. Would stay again.

• cynthiag480 (8/5): Quiet and clean - I was in town visiting family so I did not need the kitchen, but I was impressed with how quiet the place was. I never heard a door slam, TV on, people talking, or even water running. There were a lot of people staying here but it was very quiet. The room and bathroom were very clean. The only problem I had was they do not have hairdryers in the rooms.
• Explore751528 (10/5): This place rocks - From the time I walk through the front door Brandy is the lady at the desk made me feel very warm and welcome and as the time progressed I got to meet a few more of the staff first of all mell who I assume from laundry and the housekeeper name Sharon all very professional and in my opinion the place rocks

There is no clean-up and no linen change on the weekend—as we found out during our weekend visit to Watford City. There are kitchenettes provided with a full size refrigerator, sink, microwave and stove top but no breakfast nook outside the rooms. The bed was comfortable. Free wifi.
• 478philn (10/5): Friendly staff excellent housekeeping - The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and convenient location close to restaurants. Housekeeping does a great job at keeping your rooms clean. Overall great service. I would recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed my long stay in the hotel from Cassie and Jennifer at the desk greeting me anytime i walked through. The housekeepers kept up with my room and made sure i had everything i needed. If you plan on staying long somewhere in the oil field then come here. This place rocks!!!
• harrisondavid27 (10/5): great place to stay - I stayed here for a couple months and i enjoyed my temporary home. I had a clean room upon arrival and never any issues about getting what i needed. I spoke to cassie and jennifer often during my stay and they never had a unhappy face on when i arrived home. I would always recommend staying here for a pleasant experience. This place is by far the best bang for your buck with a great atmosphere.
• 478philn (10/5): Friendly and clean - Staff at this hotel are amazing, Casey the gm is more then accommodating to your needs. Rooms are also clean and well taken care of. I have stayed for extended periods without any issues or complaints.

The room was clean and kept up often. The staff was very helpful when i needed anything. I enjoyed my home away from home and plan on always coming back.

We work in the oilfield so we got the floors dirty. The appliances were in good working order. The rooms were modern, clean, and spacious. The staff was very friendly as well as helpful.

• robertrX5848UF (10/5): Three C's...Courteous-Clean-Comfortable - My company selected Value Place for our stay (approx. 5 mos) while working in Watford City. My stay at Value Place has superseded my expectations. I work 15-18 hour days and retiring to Value Place after a hard days work is very comforting. I am always greeted with a warm smile and kind words from house cleaning to management- I truly feel welcomed at Value Palace. I highly recommend Value Place- Watford City, N Dakota and will definitely visit again.

The service was excellent, very clean rooms and GREAT customer service. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

I Stayed here for work purposes and from the short time I've been here ... The staff has greeted me with a smile daily . Not being able to be at home , I do love that there is a little kitchenette (refrigerator, stove, microwave and sink) in the room. Also having the FREE wifi. 😊 I would recommend this place to others . 😊
