- Stephane (9/5): parfait - Magnifique Hotel et personnel très accueillant. D'autant plus qu'ils ont été très arrangeant étant donné que j'avais mon vélo. Emplacement parfait au centre et à 100m de la gare de Visp. Je recommande fortement. La chambre est très confortable et doté d'un immense balcon. Rien, si ce n'est que la seule chose à rajouter serait le code Wifi mais le personnel vous le donnera sans soucis.

I also received an unexpected upgrade, which I truly appreciated — thank you so much! The check-in and check-out process was very easy, and the key was prepared and waiting for me on arrival, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Most importantly, the hotel is literally right next to the station, making the location incredibly convenient. I can genuinely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Great complimentary water and fruit. Able to leave luggage after checkout for a day trip to Zermatt. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. Would recommend this hotel for the stop before/after Zermatt trip. None. My experience was great.
- Arnaud (5/5): Trop cher pour ce que c'est. - La propreté des chambres et la proximité avec la gare de Viège. En arrivant on nous annonce un surclassement. Ils auraient mieux fait de rien dire. Résultat : chambre au 1er étage, vue sur la gare CFF, dès 5h du matin on a été réveillé par les bruit du restaurant au rez-de-chaussée. Aucune insonorisation dans les chambre. Le buffet du petit déjeuner laisse à désirer. Produit bas de gamme, machine à café automatique de gare.

- sherritl2026 (10/5): Outstanding Service! - My bus back to Visp was running late and they brought my suitcase to the station so I wouldn’t miss my train. The room was lovely and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. They even gave me a chocolate Easter bunny when I checked in. Everyone I met in Valais is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at the Baxter to easily travel to Zermatt and to the towns around Visp.

Perfect location to train station, especially for skiing trips out to regional ski areas. Not too busy. And great staff. They helped us with ski and luggage storage without question, and we’re accommodating for when we needed to clean up ourselves from a long ski day after checking out. Breakfast was included in room and was delicious, many good options. No comment
