- Flo Berger (10/5): Bestes Resort auf Koh Libong - Wunderschönes Resort am Strand von Koh Libong mit einer sehr gepflegten Anlage. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet und Essen. Sehr aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal, die uns bei Problemen mit unserer gebuchten Fähre sehr gut unterstützt haben. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Stranden er meget skrå, så det er svært at sole sig ved stranden. Man føler man glider nedad, men det er vel et luksusproblem.
- Lennart (10/5): Best vacation of our life. - Everything. The location is stunning, dinner restaurant is facing right where the sun sets over the ocean, every sunset is worth the money by itself. The location is spotless clean throughout, the rooms are comfortable, food is great for both breakfast and dinner. Pool is nice, especially towards the evening when sun sets. Staff is friendly, helpful and competent. Also there is a very nice atmosphere between the employees who seem to be having a good time working there, which adds to the atmosphere of being just a beautiful place to be. Both my partner and i loved every second of our stay. The island itself is largely untouched by tourism. Great to discover with a motorcycle you can rent from the facility at a reasonable price (350 baht per day). Drive carefully though. Nothing hotel related. The island itself is rather small so you might consider making some trips to other islands for a longer stay. Some stray dogs roam the beaches especially towards the evening, can be howling at night.

- Alicia (10/5): Magique et hors du temps ! - Le personnel était au petit soin, toujours prévenant, souriant et attentionné. Nous ne remercierons jamais assez Nee qui nous a aidé à trouver une solution de dernière minute pour remplacer notre speedboat qui a annulé le trajet la veille de notre départ. Le petit déjeuner est très varié, beaucoup de choix, et possibilité de goûter les pancakes thaï à la banane, je vous les recommande. Le soir le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon également et ils proposent une BBQ de poissons et fruits de mers excellent ! Les chambres sont propres, les piscines aussi. Rien à redire de ce coté là. Le service de buanderie/lessive est top et pas cher. L’hôtel propose des kayaks, des vélos et du matériel de snorkeling gratuitement aux clients de l’hôtel, c’est un gros point fort pour nous. Il y a deux piscines : une familiale et l’autre réservée aux adultes, c’est un bon équilibre. Nous reviendrons c’est certain ! Un tout petit point à soulever tout de même :il y a le nettoyage des piscines à partir de 7h du matin et selon votre cabane le bruit des machines est désagréable au réveil mais si vous êtes des lèves tôt alors cela ne nous dérangera pas. Attention également, aux appels à la prière des 5h le matin qui sont diffusés par le village voisin mais que l’on entend assez fort dans l’hôtel et dans les cabanes.

- Robin (10/5): Tolle Energie - Ist wirklich eine sehr magische Insel mit einer tollen Energie. Und genau an diese Energie hat sich auch das Resort angepasst. Sehr gute Stimmung dort, keine touristische Insel, sondern nur lauter Einheimische. Das Frühstück könnte weniger süß sein.

Pour mon anniversaire j’ai eu droit à une surprise. Nous avons tout aimé…. Et nous avons surtout aimé voir les Bernard l’ermite le soir et entendre les grenouilles …. - Rui (9/5): Excelente - ADOREI a minha estadia durante 6 noites Recepção: Excelente Staff muito profissionais, simpáticos e proactivos Áreas comuns: Jardins muito bem cuidados e exóticos - lindo Localização: em cima da praia com água cristalina Quarto: impecavelmente limpo e acolhedor, camas confortáveis e casa de banho muito espaçosa. Pequeno almoço: excelente, só faltou o queijo. Pôr do sol maravilhoso Da organização do serviço do restaurante especialmente ao jantar. Alguns funcionários eram desatentos e desorganizados. Ficamos bastante tempo à espera que alguém fosse à mesa para efectuar a ordem do pedido, mesmo estando o restaurante vazio e com muitos funcionários. Não traziam talheres, por vezes pedidos trocados, sem saberem para onde iam entregar a comida. Algumas vezes vinha o prato da comida sem terem colocado talheres ou mesmo os pratos. Contas trocadas ou até com pratos não solicitados. Comida de fraca qualidade Pedimos espetos de marisco (sea food) e veio frio. As batatas e milho veio quente. Tentámos várias vezes até que começámos a ir jantar aos restaurantes vizinhos que ficam a uma curta distância a pé e muito mais barato. Só não gostei mesmo do serviço ao jantar, no entanto ao almoço alguns funcionários também eram desatentos e desorganizados. No entanto, voltaria de certeza a ficar neste resort, pois gostámos bastante. Esta é uma crítica construtiva de fácil resolução por parte do hotel se assim o desejarem.

Wunderschöne Anlage Wir haben das Frühstück etwas verschlafen um 10 Minuten und sieh zeigten Verständnis und wir konnten noch frühstücken. Sehr lieb. Danke dafür. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Der kleine "Bach" hinter dem Haus mit mehreren Zimmern riecht etwas. Waren mitte März und es war kaum Wasser vielleicht ist das nur zum Ende der Saison so. Ist uns aufgefallen, hat jedoch unseren Aufenthalt nicht gestört und mann kann dagegen nicht viel machen.
- Romana (10/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Mit Sicherheit das schönste hotel auf koh Libong. Das Personal ist sehr sehr zuvorkommend! Und der Strand ist wunderschön. Man hat jeden Abend einen perfekten Sonnenuntergang. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr lecker.

- Caroline (9/5): Fijne plek - Mooie en comfortabele bungalow, in een prima omgeving. Ligging aan het strand is prima, medewerkers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk. Er zijn genoeg bedjes bij de zwembaden en op het strand, maar de plekken met schaduw zijn schaars. De parasols zitten vast en er is weinig ruimte om de bedjes wat te schuiven. Fijn als hier wat op verzonnen zou worden.

De kunne godt vente med at rengøre poolen til kl 8 så man ikke vågner hver morgen kl 7. Der manglede noget personale ved poolen til at ryde op - fjerne håndklæder og glas. - philippe (10/5): Séjour vraiment Top ! - Le personnel adorable, souriant, chaleureux et très disponible, on s’y sent détendu et bien malgré le monde. L’emplacement idéal sur l’île, la possibilité d’emprunter des vélos, l’espace en bord de plage. un soucis la première nuit par de manque d’isolation d’une porte communicante avec la chambre d’à côté, des voisins peu bruyants mais on s’entendait quasiment respirer d’une chambre à l’autre ! La seconde nuit nous étions dans une autre chambre sans porte communicante : parfaite !

Unser Bungalow war jedoch nicht freistehend (wie auf den Bildern) sondern durch eine sehr hellhörige Verbindungstür mit dem Nachbarzimmer verbunden. Wir hatten angenehme Nachbarn und haben uns daher auch nicht beschwert.

- Cynthia (9/5): If you like remote tropical islands, Koh Libong and The Andalay Resort is where you need to go! - The Andalay Beach Resort is a gem on the shores of a beautiful, unspoiled tropical island. Our room was the Oriental Villa on the beach. It was so quiet, serene, and peaceful. The staff of the resort were delightful. so friendly and helpful and very attentive to your every need. The restaurant served a delicious buffet breakfast with many options. We were in the resort for six nights and the dinner menu was varied with both many choices of both Thai and Western dishes. We were spoiled with choice and the food was delicious and nicely presented. The beach in front of the hotel is gorgeous! Nice beach walks to be had with lots of nice shells and so much beautiful sea glass, if you like to collect treasures. Snorkeling, just off shore, was pleasant in clear water and we saw quite a few fish. On low tide you can walk to the island off shore and explore the exposed reef. Be sure to explore the island and go to the Stone Bridge and the old port on the East side of the island.

- Régis (10/5): Paradis - Que du bonheur de retrouver cet hôtel pour un nouveau séjour incroyable. Le personnel est aux petits soins le tout dirigé par l'exceptionnelle Nee. L'hôtel est magnifique. Le jardin est luxuriant. La nourriture ai restaurant est savoureuse, exquis et bien servi. Le petit déjeuner est magnifique avec l'embarras du choix, les plats thaïlandais sont exquis. La plage propose une eau claire, et chose rare en Thaïlande, rien ne pique dans l'eau.. Mais vraiment le personnel est au top du top sympathique, souriant. L'hôtel est super propre. L'île est parfaite pour se reposer au calme, loin du tourisme de masse. Devoir partir

- Monja (8/5): Eigentlich traumhaft , aber sehr stressige Atmosphäre. Als Paar ohne Kinder würde ich es nicht empfehlen… Leider - Wunderschöner Bungalow- wirklich ganz toll eingerichtet und groß. Es war so gemütlich und wir haben selten im Urlaub so gut und erholsam geschlafen wie in diesem Resort. Die ganze Anlage und das Restaurant ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll gestaltet! Das Essen war immer sehr gut. Tolle Massagen und sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Eigentlich der perfekte Ort um mal richtig abzuschalten…. ABER Das Resort ist sehr familienfreundlich und die Kinder nutzen die gesamte Anlage als einen großen Abenteuerspielplatz. Die Wege zwischen den Bungalows werden als Rennstrecken für Tretroller und Bobycars benutzt und beim Essen herrscht permanent eine stressige laute Atmosphäre. Wir haben leider keine Möglichkeit gefunden, wie man sich dem entziehen konnte , nichtmal am Adults Only Pool weil direkt daneben auch permanent getobt wurde. Das war sehr schade und hat uns den Aufenthalt dort ziemlich vermiest.

Beyond the place being a little piece of paradise is the fabulous staff! Everyone of them (I will not mention names for fear of leaving one out) went out of their way and beyond to make our second stay even better than the first one. The kitchen is mouthwatering, the cocktails are to die for and the whole atmosphere is one to relax to the max. We were moved to tears at arrival and at our farewell. . Khop Khun Krap 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 dear people of Andalay, my wife, my girls and I sincerely hope we can return one day and see you all again. - Natacha (7/5): Beautiful hotel but constant noise from children and lack of privacy - We spent four nights at this hotel and while some aspects were enjoyable, others were quite disappointing, especially the constant noise from children. The overall atmosphere felt more like a daycare than a hotel meant for relaxation. Kids were running, screaming and crying all day long. Even in the so-called adults-only pool, we encountered a family with children who ignored the rule. When we pointed it out, they took it badly, as if we were the ones at fault. Given that families already have access to the entire property (and another pool), the least they could do is respect this one dedicated space. The staff should also be more proactive in enforcing the rule. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway as a couple, this is definitely not the right place. I’ve never been particularly drawn to adults-only hotels, but after this experience, I now understand why the concept appeals to so many people and I would seriously consider it for future trips. Another downside was the location of our bungalow (V3), which was right on the main path leading to the restaurant and reception. Zero privacy! Everyone walked past, saw us sitting on the terrace and greeted us like in a campsite. For the price we paid, this was quite disappointing, if it were a 1,000 THB-per-night bungalow, it would be understandable, but at this rate, we expected much better. On the plus side, the room was clean and well-equipped (fridge, safe, slippers, bathrobes…), but a few details were frustrating: poorly placed light switches that forced us to walk around the bed in the dark, a toilet spray with no water pressure, and no hot water on the first night. The food was also disappointing, clearly adapted to Western tastes and lacking authentic flavors. However, the breakfast was quite varied. That being said, Koh Libong is an amazing island, far from mass tourism, offering a truly authentic and peaceful experience.

Very comfortable stay The best hotel on the island by far It’s beyond the hotel responsability, but there’s a herd of stray dogs on the island. They fight every night and get hurt, very noisy at midnight and heart breaking if you are a dog lover.

Particularly loved the attention to detail in the design of the rooms, the fact that it's a fairly small hotel, the staff, the beauty of the island (not touristic at all). 10/10. Cannot recommend more. Nothing. I'd just thing it would be cool if the hotel would organise some activities that you can join with others? Like an island tour.

The staff was very helpful and attentive, and the island is a smell gem with plenty of deserted beach stretches, jungle and a few local villages. We stayed at the Family Luxury House, which was very nice. However, there was a bit of noise in the morning as it is located above the resort’s motorbike shed and close to the entrance.

Huge thank you for the staff, you make this place exceptional - It was enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and have privacy. It was good value for money. Total price in the restaurant doesn’t include taxes so you may be misled by that.
- Aleksander (10/5): Selfishly I don't want to talk about this hotel... - Had a fantastic albeit short (4 nights) stay at Andalay. We felt very welcomed from the get go - hotel's personel was great. Very attentive & helpful. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed at the Family Botanical House (upper floor) and loved it. Rooms are large, comfy, well equiped and bear no sign of wear. The restaurant serves really good Thai & international food (both for breakfast and a la carte). While it is pricier than in offsite restaurants, the quality is there. Be sure to stroll around the island too - we really liked it as well. A must repeat! Just one thing - the coffee could be much better

Always smiling and so thoughtful and did their job perfect from the second we arrived till the second we left ❤️ A true paradise! It's not much to dislike at this place, but a bit crowded with children in both pools, which made it a bit noisy sometimes.
