- Delphine (9/5): Une bonne halte confortable sur le chemin qui mène à Glencoe - La chambre était agréable, spacieuse et propre. Le lit était large et très confortable. Nous avons pris le repas du soir dans le restaurant de l'hôtel et avons très bien mangé. Le petit déjeuner était OK, même s'il n'y avait pas un choix pléthorique, mais c'est normal pour un 3 étoiles. Une mini critique : il y a très peu de surfaces dans la chambre pour poser ses affaires (en particulier dans la salle de bain) On entend un peu le traffic sur la route mais ce n'est pas très gênant. Je trouve un peu pénible de devoir réserver un horaire pour le petit déjeuner au moment du check-in : lorsqu'on est en vacances, on ne met pas le réveil et on ne sait pas à quelle heure on sera prêt à venir manger. Dans notre cas, nous sommes arrivés à la salle de petit déjeuner 30 minutes avant l'horaire fixé et avons tout de même été bien accueillis par la charmante hôtesse.
- Richard (4/5): The not good hotel - The only thing good about the place was the breakfast. The evening meal was awful and they were going to charge me 10% tip. The bedroom was poor, the carpet was stained, there was nowhere to put your clothes in and the bathroom was a joke, it was like two wardrobe doors that you stepped through into the tiniest bathroom ever. You couldn't even towel yourself dry without smashing your arms on the walls.

- Julie (7/5): Staff were lovely and very knowledgeable. Food was lovely. Rooms very dated. Overall a good hotel. - Food was lovely. Staff were all very nice, friendly, chatty, helpful. Property was very dated. Furniture in rooms damaged, carpets marked, one of the duvet covers hsd a rip in it. Bedroom was roasting, couldn't get the room temperature to change. The bathroom was very odd, more like a cupboard.

It has a lovely bar, snug and fantastic restaurant. The rooms are spacious, clean and really comfortable. There’s was nothing not to like.

The worst we had walking the west highland way. Overcooked, overpriced. Huge delays at breakfast, even despite staggered breakfast times. Also bad bag drop area way to small.

- Ann (10/5): - The staff were wonderful and the room was excellent. We had a warm welcome and our room was perfect as we were traveling with our dog. The room was large so plenty of room for his bed. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. We ate in the hotel in the evening and they booked us in to eat in the bar area so we could have our dog with us, they even set us a table ready for us at breakfast. A great stay and would certainly stay here again

- John (8/5): Great location, amazing food and lovely staff - We were particularly impressed by the amazing food, both for our evening meal and breakfast. The choice and quality of food at both meal occasions was superb. A special mention also for the staff, in particular the very friendly/chatty lady (didn't catch her name) who served us at both our evening meal and breakfast, she was a real credit to the hotel. Having spent the day walking the West Highland Way, then going straight for a drink/dinner on arrival, we were very disappointed that there was no hot water for a shower when we got to our room (around 9pm), meaning that we had to boil the kettle many times for a basic 'wash'!

I should have read the reviews instead of just relying on the ratings. My comments are not new. It’s on the road so it’s noisy at night and early in the morning. The carpets are very dirty so the room didn’t feel clean.

Staff made us breakfast rolls and hot coffee to take with us. The hotel is tired and could do with being refreshed, we couldn't get hot water in the morning which would have caused more of an issue if we hadn't been leaving early
