Die Lage nahe China town war für uns noch ma was neues und lud ein zum entdecken. Leider war vor unserem Zimmerfenster ein schwarm von AC-Anlagen und eine davon war so wahnsinnig laut das wir kaum schlafen konnten. Ohne Ohrstöpsel wären wir hier nicht zu Ruhe gekommen. Leider Ameisen im Bad.

• Ralf (9/5): Gute Unterkunft etwas außerhalb - Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer waren groß und hatten sehr bequeme Betten Zimmer können laut sein durch Aussengeräusche von Strasse oder Lüftung von nebenliegender Werkshalle. Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Innenstadt.

• Kelvin (8/5): A very pleasant holiday. Lots to see and grab and bolt apps made it very easy for day trips. - Clean. Helpful staff. Central for markets. 7/11 and restaurants. Lots of sight seeing choices provided by the hotel. It was a very pleasant so I have no complaints. A word of warning I paid for an extra day as check out is 12 noon latest. My flight was late evening so having somewhere with ac to shower before the flight was essential.
• Catherine (8/5): Good location - The room was big enough, clean and the decor as the name suggests is rustic. There was storage space so we could put our belongs away and not live out of a suitcase. The bed was comfortable but could use some better pillows and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to walk to markets, restaurants and other sights. The internet was very weak where some days we were unable to use it on our last day the there was no internet at all. The windows are very thin so you hear the street noise all the time and the pigeons cooing in the early morning as well as dogs barking. Our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator, the staff did give us an option of one on the 2nd but it was quite a bit smaller.

• De Venecia (3/5): Thank you for accommodating us. - The staff are accommodating, the bed is comfortable, and the floor looks squeaky clean. I have stayed in a lot of basic hotels in Thailand, but at least we always got our money’s worth. Here, there’s no elevator and it was quite noisy even on the fourth floor. The toilet didn’t look very clean to me. I’m genuinely unsure why the rating is high. The first hotel we stayed at in the area was much better and cheaper, and they even offered a buffet breakfast.

• B (7/5): The receptionists are pleasant and helpful. - Relatively quiet area only when it was busy traffic. Close to the markets and some restaurants. The shower drainage was poor. The plastic tray in the fridge was full of juice, probably left by previous guests. Therefore cleaning work should be done after people check-out.

• Paul (9/5): Mooi rustiek klein hotel met heerlijke bedden en centraal gelegen - Het is een heel klein hotel met slechts 12 kamers maar er zit de hele dag tot 23 uur iemand aan de receptie. Alle dames die daar gedurende mijn verblijf aan de receptie hebben gezeten waren even vriendelijk en behulpzaam Er is niet iets wat echt tegenviel. Eén avond deed de wifi het niet op mijn etage maar de dag erna was dat weer opgelost en ook daarbij was het personeel heel behulpzaam.

• Saba (8/5): - Very spacious, bright and clean room. Staff was also friendly. The room we had was facing the main road and thus quite noisy - probably the rooms at the back are quieter. Wifi was not strong/stable.

• Armaghan (6/5): Why is this rated so highly? - Good location. The wooden decor is quite unique. This hotel is probably luxurious by backpacking standards, but for people who are used to proper hotels this place is not sufficient. There is no elevator, and for twin bed rooms that ALWAYS means a climb to the upper floors. The room itself has antique airconditioning that requires some creative angles to turn on consistently, and a fan that doesn't do enough on its own. The door to the bathroom is not the type that keeps out all sounds. The shower is especially subpar, it took us a moment to figure out how to even make the water warm. The water never really got hot. Most annoying perhaps was the lack of a proper closet or rack to hang clothes on. For a long stay this is especially annoying. This basically forced us to live out of our luggage during our stay. Oh yeah, the street is loud as hell too. The window doesn't close fully, so the person sleeping at the window can feel a continuous draft. The price is good but if I had known this place took the "rustic" theme this seriously I would have skipped it.

Quiet stay with everything close by. Roads noisy but in quiet room at back. Stayed a few extra nights before moving on. Traffic stupidly busy but walked everywhere. Got bikes. Public transport hard to access but to be honest, didn't try. Would use again. Nice coffee. Nice chat. Had to change rooms but it was sold out. Nothing.

Zero late night amenities, no gym, no extra blankets on very cold nights, no hot water in basin, … only shower. Hated leaving my shoes in the foyer downstairs and walking up and down very slippery stairs, … virtually an accident or fall waiting to happen.
• Linn Htet Win (9/5): Overall, Very nice place you should choose, Reasonable price, The staffs are helpful. - Good place to stay, There is 99 THB buffet Mukata which is beside of the hotel. The hotel is near to the river and walkable distance to Chinatown. I have a meeting which is not completed yet 12:15 PM and the hotel check out time is actually 11:30 PM. They let us stay until 12:30 PM. The blame is on both side, Yes, we are staying almost 1 hour over. But the staff is rushing us to finish my meeting immediately and check out the room. That one thing makes me uncomfort. But I agree, I also have to check out on time.

• Susan (8/5): Good value, quaint boutique hotel - We decided to stay here during the lantern festival. It was a great central location. There are so many venues across the bridge on the river, a 5 minute walk to Chinatown market, 10 minute walk to lots of other markets, live music venues and rooftop bars. The rooms are "rustic" but in a good way. Staff is awesome! No elevator which normally is ok but we were on the 4th floor and there is no AC in the common areas. Need a shelf or something in the bathroom for toiletries.
