- Louise (10/5): Lovely hotel, excellent food and super staff - Clean and lovely staff Nothing it was fab
- Gail (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): A fantastic venue for an all day meeting and a lovely quiet sleep - The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Checked regularly whether we had everything we needed. The hotel was quiet overnight when we stayed and we were upgraded to a larger room without asking. Food was a little expensive
- Liubov (8/5): - Amazing view from the room. Yummy breakfast. Clean and cozy room. We had a top floor room where behind the wall there was a boiler room (or something similar) and it was producing humming buzz non-stop. Both of us had to sleep with earplugs.
Also the top floor without an aircon and a very low ceiling- was ok for early May, but looks to be unbearable in summer.
- Susan (10/5): Loved it have booked again - Staff really friendly and very helpful
Lovely atmosphere with beautiful views. Food was lovely too
- David (9/5): Wonderful whitstable - Lovely room and lovely staff. Didn't eat at the hotel but the food looked good Nothing really, a little bit far from town but only a short cab ride.
- Anyebe (10/5): - I loved how fancy, clean and low key it was. The restaurant and bar and massive green were all beautiful. You can see onto the coast and sea too. I loved the property, it’s a nice walk into town if you like walking to find your way around. Best to stay with a car

- Scott (7/5): - Location was quiet and beautiful views Shower didn't work properly, though staff did offer to move us to a different room.

- Katharine (10/5): Great base for exploring the area. - We had a lovely family room with plenty of space, twin beds for the children and a great shower. The view was fab too. Nothing!
- Mieke (9/5): Een heerlijk verblijf! - Wat een enorm leuk hotel. Heel lief personeel.
- Laura (9/5): -
- dossett (9/5): Very good - Bet comfortable Nothing

- Christopher (10/5): Great stay, will definitely return. - A great experience. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Amazing location in a charming hotel. Couldn't ask for more. Nothing
- Anna (10/5): Perfect - I love the view from the garden area! It's beautiful and peaceful
- Julie (10/5): Fabulous stay - Lovely room, staff great. Restaurant was lovely.
- Russell (9/5): Pleasant boutique hotel - This hotel is situated in an elevated position on a hill above the town of Whitstable. Super spot for a short break, with easy road access to North Kent and Canterbury. The room we had included a small balcony built over the roof of the main building, with superb views towards the moth of the Thames Estuary and the Isle of Sheppey, and a very spacious bathroom. The food served at dinner was excellent with interesting choices. The breakfast was not a buffet but there were a number of cooked options. Shelf space, or more coat-hangers in the wardrobe
- Jill (10/5): - Nothing
- mark (10/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): I was there for two nights and made to feel very welcome in a brilliantly decorated property. Slept well and enjoyed din - The staff were amazing, calling me by name and couldn’t do enough for me. Great views and decor.
- Kate (10/5): -
- Edward (10/5): Friendly comfortable hotel - A lovely comfortable room with panoramic view Nothing springs to mind
- Mayumi (9/5): -
- Helene (9/5): It was very nice and comfortable. - The breakfast was good value because they included tea and coffee in with the price and the tea was big teapots for individuals, the toast was also included, which sometimes costs extra, but the bacon was streaky not back bacon, which I don't like and my eggs weren't cooked properly and the mushroomse cooked in garlic not something you want to eat for breakfast
- Peter (8/5): -
- David (10/5): -
- Victoria (9/5): Lovely stay, with very friendly staff. - Very cozy and comfortable
- Robert (10/5): -
- Helen (7/5): -
- Scott (9/5): Great quirky hotel with excellent staff and location. - This is great little quirky hotel with many differing rooms; it's not a one shape fits all type of hotel. Great rooms, clean and tidy, great staff always helpful. If could be next door to our friends, and we could all be at the Beach front, but hey life's not like that, just enjoy this lovely hotel for what it is. Great.
- sandra (9/5): Would recommend to anyone - The people!! The bed frame. The mattress was great but as a disabled person climbing over the wooden bed frame was difficult
- GardengirlFrance (9/5): Perfect place to recharge and relax - The room was comfortable, spacious and beautifully presented. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our dinner was excellent! Disregard the Google photos. No pool on site
- John (8/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): We had a wonderful stay at Crescent Turner with my family for half term, great location, spacious and comfortable rooms - The location, very easy to get to the main high street and also explore surrounding areas. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the rooms we had were spacious and had beautiful sea views. Loved the decor too, recently renovated so had a rustic rattan feel but comfortable. Our window facing the sea view appeared to not open out fully, it was blocked but had a gap so breeze coming in, couldn't shut it fully. Luckily we welcomed the sea breeze.
- Stacey (9/5): Relaxing - Very cosy with lovely views and friendly staff taxi ride into whistable
- Steve (8/5): Lovely hotel, room was very good and a nice size - just the check-in was a little disappointing, having been emailed by - Lovely decor, high quality finish throughout Email confirming room would be ready for 1pm arrival - arrived at 1:40pm due to traffic. Room wasn’t ready - only negative about our stay
- Martha (10/5): Perfect, wish I could have stayed longer! - Beautiful view, comfortable room and excellent staff Nothing
- John (8/5): Lovely - Na Na
- Perry (9/5): Overall a very nice stay in a lovely hotel that's in a good location, with very friendly staff. - The location was lovely, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were very welcoming. The room was clean and had lovely views over the river Swale and watching the sun go down after our evening meal sitting outside on the patio area was lovely. The menu could have had more choice but what we had was very nice, The breakfast was pricey for what was on offer, same price if you had a cooked breakfast or continental. The sink in our bathroom was far to small, no idea if the same in other rooms.
- Claire (6/5): - Room was a nice size, comfortable and clean Breakfast was very expensive for what was provided.
One Set price for all items, where as individual pricing would have been more appropriate
- nadeen (7/5): -
- Pauline (5/5): Disappointing - The smell in the ground floor bedroom (like damp asbestos) the beds - 2’6” children’s beds, the pillows - awful.
- Sharon (10/5): -
- Paula (10/5): Very restful and delightful - It was the attention to detail it was exceptional for the money I paid the food was top notch and the staff were very attentive I literally didn’t leave the hotel for 2 days I slept really well and had everything I needed x Nothing negative to say x
- julian (10/5): -
- Paul-Henri (9/5): Reposant, accueillant, so british, très bien.
- Vivienne (10/5): Excellent stay. Staff very accommodating & welcoming - Location
- Amy (6/5): -
- Rosa (9/5): -
- Marion (10/5): Absolutely fabulous - We had a ground floor room as requested. The property is well maintained and very quaint There was nothing to dislike
- p (10/5): - An even better stay than last time. Staff really friendly and helpful. Had a fabulous room. Food good. Will definitely return
- Lesley (8/5): Overall a pleasant stay - Food was excellent Room was small.
- Lesley (8/5): Pleasant staff clean and tidy - Comfortable Room small and cold and no bar facilities
- Valentin (10/5): -
- shane (9/5): - Everything here is excellent, we have visited before and will do again , all the staff really do all they can to make it a memorable stay 😀
- Antony (9/5): A good bet if you are staying in the Whitstable vicinity - Very friendly nice room good value Nothing
- Margaret (9/5): -
- Irene (9/5): Great staff beautiful location. - Lovely location and friendly staff. Not enough signage to show the way to Reception or the bar.
- Kimberley (10/5): Had a lovely relaxing break. Have been a few times food good - Were we upgraded to a beautiful room
Very lucky at no extra cost
Staff are so friendly
- Paul (9/5): Excellent - Location and staff were great
- p (8/5): - Great view. Friendly staff. Very comfy bed. Had to go and ask for a hair dryer. However this was very quickly provided with apologies and a minor point , for some reason someone had taken it from the room
- wilson (9/5): Excellent service - The room was very spacious and comfortable, all the staff were friendly and polite, I will definitely stay again and recommend the crescent Turner. Thank you all
- Angela (10/5): Very welcoming - Exceptionally kind and caring staff and a lovely room. Thank you
- Nick (9/5): Great place to stay to visit the town very comfortable - The staff were very welcoming and friendly Pre buttered toast
- Downing (9/5): Lovely small hotel with fantastic view of the Estuary. - This is a lovely small hotel close to Whitstable. The views are amazing over the Estuary. We had a beautiful room with a king size bed and was very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Nothing to say
- Pantony (8/5): -
- Phlip (8/5): -
- Cheryl (8/5): -
- Sue Butcher (10/5): Relaxing stay in an amazing hotel. - This is the second time we have stayed. Both times we have had a warm welcome. Staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms are lovely clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant is of a high quality. The position of the hotel is a little way from Whitstable but the views make up for it.
We had a lovely relaxing stay hopefully to be repeated next year.
- Louise (10/5): Excellent customer service - Lovely Room View
- KEITH (10/5): Very enjoyable - Clean Nothing
- Sarah (9/5): Enjoyable - Staff were friendly and food was delicious in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
- Claire (8/5): Excellent. - Everything, really: the things I've written below are niggles. I would definitely stay here again; the staff are sincerely welcoming, not just ticking boxes. The decor is peaceful and cosy rather than grey and sterile, the breakfast delicious. Being able to control the temperature in my room is essential, and I was able to do that, mainly, although see comments below. In particular, I like having windows that open! Comfort: Being too hot has ruined many a night's sleep in a hotel, and for this reason, I normally choose an Airbnb in a private house.Even though I turned the heating off and opened the window wide, I still woke up too hot because the duvet was too thick. This gave me no option but to throw the duvet off and freeze or keep it on and be too hot. Why not have a very low tog duvet and a coverlet which can be added or thrown off? You've nearly solved this problem, but this would merit full marks in my view.
Check-in: 'express check-in'is pointless because you still have to get your key in person and this layer of digital deadness comes between guest and hosts, giving the initial impression that you are trying to avoid talking to guests. Since you are, in fact, very welcoming, you are doing yourselves a disservice.
Bathroom: I found it difficult to put my make-up on at such a tiny basin. I realised that the basin has to be tiny because the room is, but a shelf next to it would be really helpful, as would a lighted mirror.
- Kershaw (9/5): Perfect location, comfortable 4 days - Staff , food, room, location forus was good
- Loredana (10/5): Wonderful winter break in Whitsable. - The hotel was very cosy and you felt at home as soon as you arrived. The reception and waiting/bar staff were so friendly and they were extremely helpful throughout our stay, giving us tips on where to eat, visit and how to get there without using the car. We ate breakfast and an evening meal at the hotel which were delicious and excellent value. Our room was spacious with a fantastic view of Whitsable and the coast. Nothing.
- Helen (9/5): Cosy and romantic place to stay - Beautiful views from this little tucked away hotel. The room was clean and spacious and what we were expecting. Uncomfortable pillows and our room was above the bar so a bit noisy.
- Sara (8/5): Not as good as it could be given the location and views - The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were really goods, we had a great nights sleep Although we were upgraded to the garden room it was a little odd. It had no windows and the doors which led to a small courtyard next to the main entrance of the hotel were opaque so once inside the room you had zero view. Also there was no where to hang clothes or drawers to put things away. The en-suite had a tiny sink which made washing and cleaning teeth a very wet affair on the floor. You could see that the water had already damaged the door of the under sink cupboard. There was nowhere really to lay out toiletries and no soap to wash our hands.
Lastly breakfast was very disappointing, the pancakes were floury and stodgy and the bacon crisp beyond edible.
- david (9/5): - room was amazing, staff was super attentive and courteous, the hotel had so much character nothing
- John (10/5): A great boutique hotel -always lives up to expectations - Breakfast
was freshly cooked to order with a good range of choices , well presented and tasted delicious. N othing
- David (10/5): -
- Green (9/5): -
- Anna (6/5): Good place - People were awesome Uncomfortable sleep due to the bed, pillows, and duvet
Food was creative but taste didn't quite meet the goals. Breakfast was too salty
- Martin (8/5): - Views from the restaurant, comfortable bed, well presented room and public areas Room hospitality tray lacking variety of teas and no biscuits,
Beautifully cooked breakfast but poor variety of cereals...no pastries on offer or fresh fruit/yogurts etc
- Mandy (10/5): Heaven - Stayed here before & already rebooked. Staff are lovely. Friendly, helpful & can't do enough for you. We were given a free upgrade, which was so kind. Room was spotless & welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was fab. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing
