I was excpecting nothing and get disappointed I came for my birthday and there were no special attentions, even though I mentioned it and no one seems to read the messages properly through the chat despite specific requests.
The elevator was out of service, and I had to change rooms three times in less than 20 minutes, going up and down each time which was very inconvenient.
The equipment was not working properly, including the air conditioning. There was also a bad smell in the hallway.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

- martincL7127EO (10/5): Awesome stay! - I booked to stay here for a concert this weekend. And the location was very convenient to where I needed to be. Fast food places nearby. My room was comfy for me no issues. Maurice works the night shift was awesome! I lost my key at 4:14am and Maurice was available to assist me. He had the best attitude about helping me. Staff here are very friendly. Will be back if concert comes back to Orlando.

My room was clean and included a full fridge which I was grateful for as I was in town for a week. Staff was amazing especially Maurice!!! Truly stellar. Very personable and has a great attitude.
- rafaelsK6729MM (2/5): Stay far, far away. - When I pulled up to the hotel it seemed like a very well establishment. Little did I know that behind the glass door it was a total disaster, a rundown nightmare.
The hallway was absolutely disgusting- the carpets are stained and filthy. The room appeared to be clean but the toilet seat was completely broken- maintenance had to replace it. The bathtub had long black hair around the walls. The faucet inside the bathtub was loose and not functioning properly. The walls were dirty.
Thankfully, after inspecting for bedbugs I’m glad to report none were found. However, the mattress was old and extremely springy. They didn’t have curtains except an oversized blind but short by a few of the blinds that allowed plenty of light and not enough privacy. After traveling for most of the day, we decided to take a quick nap. After our nap, I looked at my spouse and said “I’m booking a room at the double tree off the hwy.” We checked out the next day.
You’ll be charge a $45 dollar fee if you lose or don’t return your plastic keys.

- JennieZ11 (4/5): Could be worse, but you could also do much better - We picked this place because we wanted a very budget friendly room for a short stay... "Just a place to sleep" mentality.
They place a $100 hold as security deposit on arrival but I'm not sure why because nothing seems to get fixed. Our room had several issues that clearly had been ignored for years: a broken bathroom door, floor laminate peeling, random fixtures that were loose. For instance the shower curtain would open on its own because it was not secured.
On our second day the one elevator went out.
The beds are basically giant metal cots but we somehow slept fine. Probably more to do with the fact that we were exhausted.
For being so sub par repair wise it was clean enough and the staff was nice.
If you are traveling and truly just need a place to sleep you could certainly do worse for the cost.
Heads up that the surrounding neighborhood is not great either. When we told friends we were staying off Orange Blossom Trail their reactions were priceless.

- Melissa (1/5): DO NOT BOOK! This is a halfway house, not a hotel. They will leave you stranded at 11 with no room - Do not book here. People are living here week to week, like a boarding house for poor people; this is not a hotel for travelers. Property called at 1:30 pm and threatened to give away my room before arrival even though I booked a room that did not require payment until arrival. The business left the phone off the hook all day, 3 pm-10 pm. Busy signal for hours. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk for ten minutes. When the guy finally showed up, he was out of breath and angry that he was doing the jobs of six people and he was only one employee. He acted like I was the problem. When I asked why they don't answer their phone, he got angry at me that I wanted him to answer the phone. Then he cancelled my room for no real reason, while I was trying to check in, just to punish me for asking about why they leave the phone off the hook. I paid the room before arrival and everything. I was left without a room after 10 pm and when I drive across the street to the gas station to make some calls to find a new room, there was a fist fight and some dudes lost some teeth.

Macaroni in the bathtub drain, smelled bad, dead bugs on the floor, stained and dirty sheets and mattress. Floors were dirty, full of hair and dust. Towels were stained black. Will never stay again.
- carmensP8005AO (10/5): My year in a glance. - Since I arrived at the end of February of last year, the staff has been wonderful. Very accommodating, respectful and pleasant to converse with in regards to anything I may need for the room, be it repairs, or if I need and extra day to make my payment. Sometimes I may be a day late because my payment check fluctuates.
The entire staff here from the desk clerks to the cleaning staff to the maintenance staff are all polite and respectful.
I have made recommendations to other people that may be looking for a place for any time.
I only have had problems with regards to plumbing issues in the bathroom that was caused by the drainage pipes from the room above me. And the other problem was/is with the roach problem which was caused by the room next to mine(from what was discovered). I am handling that, nonetheless, best I can. The "bug guy" that came, really did nothing and if you ask me, you should have a different company come for that work.
But for the most part, everything is great.

The worst noise came from the people staying here, slamming doors, people wandering the hallways playing music in their phones, crack whores yelling, people pulling into the parking lot in the middle of the night with their music playing loud. You have people wandering the parking lot non-stop, prostitution is going on, people passed out in their cars in the parking lot with music playing loudly. This place is a decent building but the constant noise was enough to ruin a dead man’s sleep. Oh and the $200 non refundable pet deposit is ludicrous.

Our stay at WoodSpring Suites North Maitland (Orlando) was an absolute nightmare and one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had.
The room was extremely dirty from the moment we arrived. The bathroom was filthy, and the carpet in the room was visibly dirty and poorly maintained. We also encountered cockroaches everywhere, which was shocking and completely unacceptable. Shortly after our stay began, my entire family became sick, which we strongly believe was caused by the unsanitary conditions of the room.
The common areas were just as bad. The corridors and elevator had a constant foul smell, and there was dog poop and urine throughout the premises, both inside and outside the building. The overall environment was unhygienic and disturbing.
To make matters worse, instead of addressing our concerns professionally, a staff member threatened to expel me from the hotel simply because I questioned what appeared to be unlawful or unfair contract terms. This kind of intimidation is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of basic customer service and professionalism.
We were originally supposed to stay for 18 days, but the conditions were so severe that we were forced to relocate to another hotel to protect our health and well-being.
We felt unsafe, disrespected, and ignored. This property represents a serious health risk and should be avoided, especially by families. I strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere if they value cleanliness, safety, and respectful treatment.

Por otro inconveniente nos dieron un teléfono para comunicarnos y no nos atendieron
El wifi gratis es para un solo dispositivo. Para agregar otros hay que pagar

La limpieza es quincenal.
La cocina no cuenta con ningún utensilios. En caso de necesitar los hay que abonar u$s30

She wanted to create a scene when I asked her to reimburse me back but as a professional I did it differently and decided to ignore her tantrums. Even her co workers told me she had tantrums

Me and my guests I invited her to the room she refused to change us to another room with a heater and a working remote. Front desk staff eventually offered an additional room for bathroom use after multiple requests. The room had a strong musty odor, no blankets, and the kitchen was completely unequipped (no utensils, pans, plates, soap, etc.).
The toilet did not work, and cockroaches were coming from the wall near the A/C and from the bathroom.
Elevators smelled like dogs with visible pet hair, and hallways smelled like smoke.
Staff initially refused assistance, gave us a plunger to fix the toilet ourselves, offered no pest control, and declined a room change or refund.
Overall, poor hygiene, poor service, and unacceptable conditions.

WoodSpring allegedly told the management about my issues, so I return to an eviction notice. Pic attached. When I checked in, they saw my dog and charged me $200 for my dog. I have proof that they took the money from my account. I go downstairs to talk to the front desk clerk, and he is friendly, and he sees where I paid my fees. To me, this is retaliation for my negative review. I guess I’ll be finding a different chain to stay in the next five months I’m down here. I’ve included a picture of the nasty toilet from my previous review. The bigger chunks of filth have been knocked off by me being a man urinating in the bowl.

- G6385RBtimt (4/5): Nasty toilet - It is interesting that I had a note on my door saying corporate was coming to inspect the property and see if it meets the expected standards. If it does, it tells me a lot about corporate for this property. I checked in on Monday night at 9 PM (9/8/25) with a checkout of 9/12/2025. A place charging $50/ night for my 10 pound yorkie leads me to believe they value cleanliness. I was wrong. The toilet looks like it has been clogged, and the water has been allowed to slowly drain from it. It is filthy and rusted inside the bowl. The bowl looks like someone ran a brush briefly over the drain, but they forgot the upper portion of the bowl. I used the white floor mat to walk across the bathroom floor, and now it is black on the bottom. The floors are scratched and the LVP is stained. The two pillows are flat. The refrigerator is rusting, and there is something sticky on the blinds where you raise and lower them. It is going to take more than my $200 for my 10 pound yorkie to clean this room properly.
I hope corporate does a thorough inspection and forces some remediation of the property. I will be trying out another location next week, and am hoping for a greater level of cleanliness. If not, I will know it is a company issue.
- Hunter (2/5): - This is NOT a hotel. This is meant for inexpensive long term living. The staff is pleasant and will work with you, sometimes, however they are not very good at their jobs.
Other guests let their dogs and cats go to the bathroom inside the stairwell, there are bugs and cockroaches everywhere, the the staff is incapable of cleaning rooms without leaving bug carcasses everywhere.
They took $100 for a deposit, and promised I would have it returned within a week of checkout. Check out procedure was to place my keycard into the box as I was leaving in the early morning. My deposit was never returned, and I have been ignored by the company.
Outside the building, there is a large homeless population and very sketchy guests inside. This is the type of place you lock, then brace the door shut with a chair under the handle.
Avoid at all costs.

- Coby (6/5): - Overall, the room was okay and sufficed for my 5 days that I stayed there. Pillows were small (thankfully I had my body pillow), bed was a little stiff but fine. Elevator did not work, so I had to take the stairs when loading and unloading luggage. The shower was only scalding hot; there was no cold water, so I had to be strategic with my showers. There seemed to have been quite a few homeless around the premises; witnessed a couple of drug deals the day I checked in (fun). Be cautious of the area. Killed 4 roaches in my room during the 5 days that I stayed there. Overall, you get what you pay for.

I arrived at 11:45pm I have to use a nasty phone to call the receptionist or something like that, after 15 min she answers and right away she put me on hold, 15 min later can I guy really poor customer service. People smoke from of the main door outside. Really ghetto place. But like I said u pay for what u got, I can not expect anything from $70. Really disappointed.
