Guest Reviews
- Declan (9/5): Great little spot - Location was fantastic. Property touches the beach and Sun loungers set up on beach for you. Little bar on beach beside you and the views are amazing Nothing to dislike
- Gary (9/5): We had the 1 bed little room with Kitchener’s .was nice. - Location was good. Quiet nice beach. Room was nice. Had
The 1 bed 1 bath in front. Not a big deal but there wasn’t any shampoo or soap
In the Shower.
- Trung Cat (4/5): -
- Tonge (6/5): Good, but could be so much better. - When we booked the holiday we were well aware we had booked the studio, the studio does not look over the beach but onto the main road and has been made private by fencing, no issue for us. The road noise is manageable, this would not put us off from returning.
The beach is a mere 20 seconds walk to the back of the property, and it is lovely, very safe for swimming.
The room was very clean, we only stayed for 5 nights. Towels were not replaced, but all you have to do is ask Donna for a change.
Donna is a lovely host.
20 minute walk from Holetown, safe walk during the day, but I would be wary at night, due to the business of the road and little street lighting, just jump on the yellow buses for 3.5 bajan dollars, its an experience if it's your 1st time. A few points to mention, but not to discredit the property in anyway, because the location is superb.
I would say if you are staying longer than 5 nights, there is nowhere near enough wardrobe space, there is an ironing board taking up space, which my wife removed to hang up some clothes, I lived out of my suitcase.
The ironing board is not functionable due to poor covering.
The bed, a small double which we knew, but the fitted sheets continually come off as they are not large enough, and the mattress was very uncomfortable.
The shower, wow, very poor, a mere trickle, this has been mentioned is a previous review, it is correct.
You can hear the occupants above in the one bedroomed apt, but this did not bother us as we were out more than we were in.
Outdoor
Dead plants outside the studio, just take them away or replace, it does not give a first good image when you arrive.
The sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach, great asset to the property, sunbeds need replacing, umbrellas need a good clean, full of bird muck.
The day bed with the nice cream cover is broken, just remove and replace.
The studio used to be a shop and there is still an American Express sticker on the window.
The sunbeds for the apartments sit behind the vendors sunbeds and they can get aggressive (one in particular) as they sweep their area won't betide if you walk over this, which you have to do to get to the sea.
It just needs a little bit of money spending on the above and all would be perfect.
We are just being honest and it would not stop us from coming back, but in the apartments and not the studio.
- Melissa (7/5): Beachside bliss- but needs attention - Beachside west coast cottage. Beautiful quiet wide sand. Nice chairs umbrellas provided.
Great onsite manager- helpful Bed is awful. springs felt in back through mattress lining. No side supports. Manager purchased foam topper which helped, but this was an old bed.
Weak hot water. If they fixed those issues, it would be a 10.

- Fabian (8/5): -
- Dr. Grace (6/5): - Beach front, charming old island feel to the building, great AC, good wifi, great water pressure and hot water! Safe for solo female travelers, nice view. Beach front, but the beach is very narrow at this particular location, there are very poor beach chairs and if you want something better it's $60 and the guys out there harass you. When you're in the room It's LOUD. This is the biggest problem for me. It's on a main street and the traffic noise is very surprisingly disturbing and is nearly 24 hours a day. Like bring your ear plugs or it'll wake you up all day and night- believe me it's like NYC. Definitely retracts from the peaceful vibe I was going for. When I got in the floors were so dirty they were making my feet black to walk around which really grossed me out. They finally sent the maid but it took 2 days and I could still see residue all over the floors. Front desk staff not really easy to reach especially on the weekend. Beach towels are really old and thin and poor quality. Overall it was just meh, I had to drive 20-45 minutes to get to anything I really wanted to do and see, through bad traffic. It is close to higher end shopping and restaurants if that's your jam, but it'll take you 30 min to go 5 miles with the bad traffic, and that's not why I come to the islands personally. If I come back I'd stay on the southern island. I want a quiet, slower paced Caribbean vibe with locals and authentic food. This isn't it.
- Joanna (10/5): - Stunning location. Very simple but clean apartment with air conditioning. Bus stop outside with basic supplies available from Esso garage 5 minutes walk away. Mr Vics restaurant 3 minutes walk. Donna was very helpful.
- Francesca (10/5): - Amazing location, just open the white picket fence and you’re on a beautiful relaxed beach. The photos on booking.com could show this off more. Fewer mosquitoes
- Paul (8/5): Superb - Beach front
- John (10/5): Platinum coast need I say more - Location Having to leave
- Veronica (10/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): Great location, great staff, needs updating, great value for the money! - Direct Beachfront acccess and loungers made this the perfect spot for us! Also, Donna, the manager was amazingly helpful and attentive. A bit run down and rickety. Could use an upgrade on dishware and furniture. The shower was a mere trickle.
A bit road noisy, but not during sleeping hours
- Jo (8/5): Location is 10/10 - The location is absolutely perfect — you really can’t beat it for the price. Step off the balcony and you’re on the beach in seconds. The amenities were great, with hot water always available. We’ve stayed in Barbados several times, so we knew what to expect, and this place delivered exactly that.
Donna was fantastic, lways on hand and incredibly helpful whenever we needed her. The only negative was the sound of the traffic outside which can’t be helped. We previously stayed across the road and whilst you couldn’t hear the traffic, the cockerels and monkeys were constantly making a racket. You can’t win!
- Laura (10/5): Think we should pack up and move here. - The location is amazing. You just walk out of the studio and down the side path and you're on a paradise beach.
Donna was a wonderful host and couldn't do enough to help. She assisted us with working out the washing machine, when we couldn't get the TV going, and when our return flight was cancelled (which could have been stressful if she wasn't so reasonable).
Loved the studio, it had everything we needed and we knocked up some nice meals as well as good coffee each morning.
There's a swimming enclosure on the beach in front but... If you ignore it and snorkel to the right of it there's a little rocky reef where a little turtle comes to visit.
Brian with the small Catamaran will pick up right on beach outside Annabelles (a lot of them want you to travel to Fitts Village) and he's very reasonable for an amazing morning of sailing the west coast & snorkeling reefs. The noise from the road outside is a lot.... At first anyway.... I knew about this from reading other reviews so I took some soft wax earplugs. In the end, I only wore them on 1 night because we just got used to the traffic noise. In the end it didn't really register - and we were there for 12 nights. Won't stop us coming back.
The other thing was the noise from the upstairs guests in the 1 Bed Apartment, walking around. These are wooden floors and if people are very heavy footed you hear there every move. It honestly didn't bother us enough to speak to them about it. I would have just mentioned it to the upstairs guests to be more considerate (as they were pretty nice people) but we weren't bothered enough.
Once you properly wind down, take in the sun, sand and rum punches, you get so chilled that everything is cool. 😎
- Daniels (10/5): Property described accordingly and a great value for its location. - Beach front property and right on a bus stop as well. Lounge chairs provided for you to sit on the beach. Donna was extremely nice and friendly. Facilities were a little dated but still functional and good.
- Patrick (9/5): -
- Wilburn (9/5): - Close to Beach, not a big rental apartment complex
- Brian (9/5): -
- Kyle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherry (8/5): We had a great stay. A few upgrades are needed - The location for that price is unbeatable. Property needs a refresh.
- Susana (7/5): Good - The location is fabulous and the beach is wonderful The room faced the street. It was extremely noisy. It does not have proper curtains. At 6 am the room was full of light. The house and light made it hard to sleep. Although the rooms facing the inside of the house were empty, the host would not move us inless we paid an exhorbitante amount
- Carl (10/5): Would well recommend - Perfect location, right on a beautiful beach. Apartment was small but had everything we needed. Host wasn’t around much as it was a bank holiday weekend but was always available if needed. Would well recommend. There’s a few restaurants in the local area but other than that there’s not a whole lot to do other than the beach. No complaints though.
- Merrall (9/5): Amazing - We had an amazing time here! Unbelievable location. The apartment could do with updating as it’s old, but for the price in this area I expected that, a couple of parasols on beach would have really enhanced our stay as there is no shade on beach.
- Boris (8/5): Nice place for repeat 🎉 - Everything was good > just from Apartment above it’s NOISY > you can hear every single step and more…
Otherwise > Kindly DORA, nice place, perfect location > place to repeat 😉
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristin (9/5): Definitely would visit again. - The house’s location by the sea was absolutely perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to the beach. The hostess Donna was very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The traffic noise from the nearby road was a bit of a downside.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location
- Vincent (8/5): A nice place for a quiet stay on the beachfront. - Liked that is had direct beach access. A few restaurants within walking distance from basic fare to high quality. Could use more morning supplies like coffee. Single serving was provided but the hostess did provide more on request. Just a bit too pricey for the level of accommodations in my option. Would book again however based on the accommodations of the proprietor.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denis (4/5): Disappointing - Room too small and very poor bed etc
- Michael (10/5): Beach hotel / studio apartment - Right on beach great little quirky quiet place
Lively staff and owner extremely helpful Nothing
- Kenneth (10/5): Perfect beach property - Perfect property to be honest the pictures on booking .com do not do the place justice , it’s amazing location literally on the beach we stayed in the 1 bed flat was well appointed for a self catering stay everything you needed
Plus Wi-Fi and air conditioning
- Kathryn (10/5): Perfect - can’t wait to return! - Location is absolutely top notch, right on the beach, bus stop outside. Donna was really helpful and even let us do a very late checkout as our flight wasn’t til the evening. We will be back. Nothing - it was brilliant.
- Dawn (8/5): Donna was very helpful. - donna was a great host! the bed was extremely hard. the towels were very worn. no shampoo.
- Aubree (10/5): - Donna was super attentive. We stayed in the 1 bedroom and had a very clean room with a great view from the 2nd story deck. The beach was well maintained. Overall, this was a great experience and stay!
- Terry (8/5): Very good - Location is excellent. In front of the property is the gorgeous beach. At the rear is the main road up to Holetown, the shopping and restaurants.
Host managing the property was particularly pleasant and helpful. Difficult to criticise, given the location.
- Eve (7/5): I enjoyed my stay because I was on the beach every day! - Being very close to the sea.
- Lorraine (10/5): Perfect studio on the beach - Perfect stay, studio was roomy, right in front of bus stop, right on the best beach in Barbados. Great parking lot for those crazy enough to rent a car, Learn to use the bus immediately!!!
- Gary (8/5): Very good location for the beach. - Great access to the beach Very noisy traffic at the back of the property.
Not used to a double bed - felt too small!
- Jaroslav (9/5): Good value for money, location is beautiful! - Location is amazing, right on the beach (all apartments), our - one bedroom was renovated. Small bed (140cm) and we run out of gas, so we could not cook the breakfast, the response from staff (message on booking/mobile) did not response.
- Luca (8/5): Very good -
- Audric (8/5): My stay was awesome. - The unit was self contained. I liked the location. It was on the bus route which was pretty good. No regrets
- Blackman (6/5): Nothing more to add. - The availability at short notice. There was no hot water. at all. It was difficult for two people to watch tv comfortably given the living room set up. The promised view of the sea did not live up to expectations - one has to stand on the small landing and peer over rooftops in order to get a tiny glimpse of the sea. A short person would probably not be able to see it at all.
- Andrew (10/5): A perfect location for a beach holiday with the family. - This property is fantastic! Right on the beach with fantastic sea/sunset views and with direct beach access. Bus stop outside and easy to get to shops & restaurants Nothing
- Warren (8/5): Single bed back room apartment on beach - The single room condo at the back of the house is literally right on the beach. We could drag the lounge chairs through the gate and get some shade from the coconut tree or rent an umbrella and chairs from the guy who sets up there. The place is a cute older cottage so don’t expect it to be bug-free. The A/C in the bedroom was good but room was a bit small for the two twin beds converted into a king which meant no nightstands (we suggested maybe custom made/recycled small tables). We recommended to the manager to add a coffee table in the TV /living room area to put drinks/snacks on instead of the floor, and to think about replacing the 3 stuck together, low backed, bamboo chairs with an actual cushioned couch to curl up on to read or comfortably watch TV. The main area floor could have been cleaner but we did rush them a bit; the bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The price would be better justified with some improvements.
- Machaela (9/5): We love Annabelle’s - Loved the location , right on the beach. Grocery stores within walking distance. Bus stop right outside door :)
- Dorothy (8/5): Loved position and loved sitting on terrace watching the sunset - Position Bed was uncomfortable and just needed a bit of update
- Valerie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tricia (10/5): Lovely place, lovely owners, lovely people around, gorgeous location. - No breakfast; self-catering.
Location fabulous - just what I hoped it would be.
Good beach bar/cafe close by. Would have liked more precise information beforehand re location & distance ON FOOT of supermarkets, ATM, phone shop, restaurants/snackshacks, etc.
Mosquitoes. Needed a repellent device for the studio.
- Heather (9/5): The perfect place for a relaxing family break on the beach - The location is absolutely amazing - stunning views of Payne’s Bay, shops and restaurants nearby but still very peaceful. The outside space right on the beach was ideal for us with young children.
The 2 bedroom cottage was far more spacious than we expected- huge beds, lots of storage space, more than enough indoor and outdoor seating for all 4 of us.
It was great to have Ann and Donna onsite during the week; they were always happy to help with restaurant bookings, bedding changes and arranged a mid-week clean for us. It would have been useful to have some more crockery and cutlery
- Sara (10/5): A wonderful traditional Bajan accommodation, right on the beach, bus stops outside and walking distance to The Cliff. Wh - This is a traditional Bajan chattel, full of character and right on the beach! Nothing, it was excellent
- Robert (9/5): We have already planned to return so need I say more. - This is a self catering apartment and while facilities are basic there is everything that you need to make your stay comfortable and prepare breakfasts and light meals, we didn't plan on eating in much so it was more than adequate. We stayed in the two bedroom beachfront apartment on Paynes Bay Beach and the location is stunning, literally on the beach, you could't be any closer! Air Con in the bedrooms very good, Wi-Fi very good. Anne, who was managing the place was very helpful when needed whilst also being very discreet. Lovely little beach bar and grill about thirty steps away which we used a lot. Basically if you want fancy and modern this isn't for you but if you are looking for a more traditional vibe it is lovely. There are sunbeds in the little garden forecourt which you are free to take out onto the beach, a nice addition would be to have an umbrella which you were able to take as well for shade when needed. There is some road noise which is a little intrusive but not enough to spoil your relaxation, the other two, one bed apartments would be noisier and they do shield the two bed one from too much of it.
- Eilis (10/5): Annabelles highly recommend - The location was amazing right by the beach. The apartment was cosy and had just what we wanted. Donna and Anne were amazing to deal with too. So handy having the sunbeds there so didn't have to rent each day. We could eat indoors in the kitchen or had a lovely set up on balcony to eat outdoors too. Eh the odd shower of rain we got 🤣
- Tina (8/5): Still had a wonderful time and enjoy staying at Annabelles. Donna the manager on-site is lovely as is Ann the owner. But - We have been staying here regularly for several years now.
The position is excellent both for beach access and ease of using public transport to travel around the island without the need for a car.
However beach is getting busier every year with tourists from the cruise ships being dropped off on that stretch. Nothing really bad but just some observations that would benefit the 1 bed apartment.
The property could now benefit from some updating of the decor. It is starting to look very tired.
Kitchen area needs a general tidy up with new equipment, furniture and appliances especially the fridge. Matching crockery & glasses is always a nice touch.
Outdoor table and chairs/beach loungers need replacing or repairing as many are broken and no parasol to use. Base is provided! Meaning no outside cover when it rains or place to sit.
Mosquito nets on all windows need replacing so that windows can be left open instead of needing to constantly use ac. Cannot leave bathroom window open at all.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - Apartment was cosy, big enough for two people. Right on the beach. Had sun loungers to use. Bus stop right outside in either direction. No complaints. Would have liked a non stick frying pan, but we're informed that had we asked for one, it would have been provided.
- Dawn (10/5): Excellent place lovely Manager (Donna), was a credit to Annabelle's, such a lovely Lady . - The apartment was lovely, everything you needed for a comfortable stay was available, Donna the manager was always at hand for anything we needed, and was always happy to help, the apartment was right on the beach, which was beautiful, a few bars and restaurants near by ,and a garage for basic groceries, the bus stop to Holetown, Speights town and Bridgetown right outside the apartment which was excellent, we used them lots to get about, wonderful place will be back next year.
- Claire (8/5): A great location for our honeymoon. - Location -right on the beach! Bus stop outside. Lovely staff.
Having a fridge and kitchen, good shower and comfy bed. Air con and a fan. Phone for local calls. Good level of privacy. Slightly worried about the kettle electrics
- April (8/5): Very good -
- Ciaran (10/5): Wonderful stay - Close to beach and roadway bus 🚎 stop into Holetown. Donna an excellent host as well Nothing
- Rachel (10/5): Perfect for a short beach holiday - location and staff
- Camilla (9/5): Superb -
- Len (5/5): Great location, everything else poor - Really good position on the beach, lovely views
Beds comfortable
Air conditioning available Crockery / cutlery / anything else is mismatched, one teaspoon for a two bedroom house is not acceptable, same with cups etc.
No welcome pack or offer of one so a big problem when arriving on a Sunday evening
No comfortable chairs inside the property, just a couple of uncomfortable bamboo chairs. Outdoor furniture not much better, it could be so much more with a bit of thought..
Very tired / dated, needed a thorough clean and a quick paint job could improve it massively.
Safe key has to be paid for and no one to provide on a Sunday.
- Simon (8/5): good place to stay on the beach, bus lonks good to holetown - great location nothing
- Linda (2/5): - Description of the property was not the actual property. Actual property was another small apartment across the road behind a bar with no parking.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (9/5): fabulous location on the best beach in Barbados - convenience and location bed was small and not comfortable
- Phil (3/5): Excellent beach front position, but a reason why Annabelle's is priced as competitively it is. - The location, with direct access to the beach is excellent. That said however, the property itself (we had the upstairs apartment) leaves a lot to be desired. It is badly in need of modernisation. The cleanliness could have been better and the whole apartment requires modernisation.
- Gaynor (6/5): The great beach makes up for the negative points of the apartment. - Perfect location, based beach side on Paynes Bay. Good sized apartment which was larger than it looked on photos. Very good outside space, although we used the beach as it is literally through a gate
Very comfortable beds Very tired, facilities need updating
Eg: very random cutlery, crockery, glasses & pots n pans. We had to go out and buy wine glasses, any cleaning products, bin bags etc. only one tea towel was provided although there is access to a washing machine
Decor is in need of makeover
Busy main road, which is very noisy- problem solved by wearing earplugs
This accommodation could be amazing if updated and it would attract repeat customers
- Phil (9/5): Traffic noise apart….it’s a blissful place. - Classic Bajan building right on the beach. Beautiful. just beautiful! It’s not a modern building, it doesn’t pretend to be. Noisy traffic out back.
- David (8/5): Very good - Location. Agent was wonderful and very accommodating. Balcony was too small. Outside shower had no tap for feet.
- Janet (4/5): Sadly disappointing. - The staff were lovely and helpful when our plans changed, and the beach is a beauty. We had to leave early as the noise from the road was overwhelming and impossible to sleep through.
The bed was hard and uncomfortable and conditions pretty basic (example: bedside lamp but no plug socket)
- Janice (8/5): Apartment on the beach - The location was excellent right on the beach. Nice restaurants nearby and buses regular and cheap if needed .the apartment was clean enough. Equipped . Hot shower. Nice roof balcony. Donna was very friendly and helpful. Supermarket nearby. The apartment needs redecorating .bedding curtains and blinds need replacing. New coffee mugs are needed. Good value for money though and would recommend for the location.you get what you pay for.
- bernard (2/5): The Big Con Job - I was caught in the old "bait and switch trap". Advertised as Annabelle's Apartments (Stayed before) but nothing like them. To be far I was contacted and told the Apartment was across the street. What was left out it was actually "Innes Apartment" attached to a restaurant called the "Old Vic" . Deal breaker no A/c, and a little in need of upgrade. Pictures relating to this apartment are so misleading to the extent of major mis-representation. I have to partially blame myself so being so gullible but having stayed before and had a good experience I thought this would be the same. Would be curious to know if the owners of Annabelle's know the Apartments are being used as Bait?
- Marge (8/5): - My stay at Annabelle’s was really nice . Great location right next to Mr Vics restaurant. Garage a few minutes walk selling anything I needed. Bus stop just outside the apartment making it easy to go to Bridgetown etc. Payne’s bay beach across the road which is beautiful. Owners of the apartment very friendly. Will definatley stay there again . Barbados is a beautiful country, never had a bad experience there. Felt safe as I was on my own .
- Susan (10/5): - We had a fabulous and relaxing stay at Annabelle's apartment in the upper one bedroom. We took full advantage of the kitchen and bbq and really enjoyed eating, having our coffee and reading on the private balcony. The view of the ocean and sunset was really nice -- and better than in the pictures. We also really appreciated having beach loungers provided that we could use on the beach. Donna was very attentive and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Beach location - The 1 bedroom is very small with not much counter space. The king size bed is 2 mattresses pushed together. Had difficulty with the road noise for sleeping. This unit is on the road side and the 2 bedroom is on the beach. On a return I would rent the 2 bedroom, more spacious and on the beach.
- Alexey (8/5): Lovely accommodations right on the beach - We had a good fortune to spend 10 pleasant and enjoyable days at Annabelle's in the 1-br apartment upstairs. It's cozy, clean, comfortable, light and has everything we needed. Having morning coffee on the terrace while looking over azure waters of Paynes Bay was wonderful. Two nights we stayed in and cooked meats and veggies on the grill, which was fun and delicious. Location in the middle of Paynes Bay is great in all respects. The beach right in front is nothing but gentle sand and if you feel more adventurous you can go hiking for miles along the shore or snorkeling. Lots of interesting reefs to snorkel are towards the south near Fish Market. On our last day we were allowed to use the room almost all day until our flight time.
As for cons, there is a bus stop directly in front of the place, so be prepared to hear ridiculously loud buses taking off all day long, with generous honking. Majority of bus drivers drive like they are in a competition -- flooring that gas pedal until the engine can rev no more, so you can hear the bus as it's speeding away for quite some time. The good news is, this behavior stops in the later hours and doesn't resume till early AM. So all our nights were blissful and super quiet. When it's 7-7:30 am though you'll definitely hear them again. Also, sometimes there is not enough hot water for everyone and you get only barely warm water in the shower.
Overall we were very pleased, think we received excellent value and would love to come back again!
- anna (2/5): Annabelles apartment Barbados - Dirty infested with mosquitoes everything in the apartments didn’t work properly bed smells of urine in beds
- lesley (8/5): A little gem - Loved this apartment. Ok it was small and pretty basic, but the location was amazing ..right on the beach.Next door there are apartments for sale at US$4,250,00.00 a few minutes stroll down the beach is Sandy Lane. We paid very little money to be sharing the same view and beach , how could it not be a place to consider
The only slight niggle was the sofa wasn't the most comfortable !!
We even had the use of sunbeds to take on the beach
- Yvette (2/5): - Do not stay in this dump! It is a big rip off. This property should not be listed on any website. The apartment we stayed in was just a bed placed in a run down kitchen. We booked 21 days but was ready to leave when we saw the place. I tried to get a refund but the owner refused saying that she had also refused refunds in the past. I lost all of my money. I had to pay another large sum of money to stay at another hotel that was comfortable. Hotels.com should not list this dump. Also, no hotel should have a no-refund policy. If hotels care about providing good service, they should be willing to issue refunds if guests were as unhappy as my son and I were. The owner, Anne, knows that with her no-refund policy, she is raking in money for a dump that is empty. What a scam!
- Raymond (6/5): - We knew we had booked Budget Accommodation, it was adequate for our needs,it would of been a lot comfier if there was air conditioning as the numerous fans were totally inadequate.
Donna was very pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much bother.
- Carolyn (8/5): Beach cottage - We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment/beach cottage, facing the sea. Unfortunately there was construction work next door while we were there. The noise was pretty bad. The owner did warn us about the noise a week before we arrived and gave us 10% discount. It was not the owner's fault that there was this noise. Donna was very helpful. She provided any little thing we asked for, like more cutlery. She checked every day that everything was ok. Great to have free laundry facilities as we were mid-stay while we were in the cottage. We did stay at two other hotels so the noise did not spoil our holiday. The property was clean and the furniture adequate. The bed linen and towels were high quality. There was a good choice of tv channels and good wi-fi reception throughout our stay. While we were there we were visited by a green lizard, just like the one in 'Death in Paradise'!
- Verified traveler (8/5): clean, chill, perfect - Stayed on island 6 days stayed here the whole time. easy to get around, food close by, pretty quiet, on the beach so thats awesome. people are nice and there if we needed anything but didnt, come with beach chairs. it was good over all NO COMPLAINTS what so ever
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very relaxing vacation - Quiet vacation in the center of Paynes Bay Beach. Not a better beach or location.
- From Texas (10/5): - Was amazing got to swim with sea turtles rite out back every day! The room was very cozy, the employees where very nice and considerate I would definitely stay here if ever to visit Barbados again!
- Jan (2/5): Building works and road noise. - As there were building works in the next door apartments, which started at 8am and went on all day, we only stayed one night and they found us an alternative. Due to the proximity to the road, and the need to have windows open as there is no air-con, it was difficult to get much sleep. The location right on the beach is excellent, but the economy apartment faces the road, and has no private outside space. Future guests should be aware of this.
