- Howard (7/5): Good. Handy meals. -
- Annette (8/5): - Dollar value & great location for us. The restaurant meals excellent too
- Alb&Bee (6/5): Cosy and good value for money. - Beautiful staff members! The receptionists were very lovely. I had two simple requests and they obliged straight away.
We like the area this motel is in. The bus to the city and the beach is just outside the motel. The meals were great value for money....generous, well cooked, and not overpriced. This was our second stay at this hotel. This time our room was on top of the bottle shop. Unfortunately the refrigeration units can be a bit noisy and don't give up at night!
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Nadun (1/5): Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. - Nothing The shower was broken, and when I informed the staff, they told me to use another room’s shower instead. The receptionist even told me to hold the shower by hand and use it if I wanted, which was very unprofessional. The room was not clean, smelled bad, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
- Robinson (8/5): -
- Timothy (7/5): Value but not perfect. - Staff was helpful, and the rooms were functional. The neighbouring room I had had thin walls..could hear everything on the Friday night. Very noisy.. however staff did rectify it when I complained. Also I could have my window open due to the constant hum of the air conditioning units outside.
- Jeanette (3/5): - Comfortable bed Tv remote didnt work. Flat batteries
No mattress or pillow protectors. Gross
No hairdryer.
Very basic
Not told of $150 bond which gets charged to your card straight away.
Then 3 day wait for refund.
- Annette (8/5): - Service very professional, friendly. Meals were great
- Christine (9/5): I was happy with my stay at this property. - Easy access to airport Flooring was squeaky
- Darryl (4/5): Adequate as a temporary stopover in what are very old-school motel rooms. - Convenient location geographically, handy for brief 2 night stay Narrow stairs only, no lift. No offer by staff to assist carrying luggage up the stairs. I’m 77yo and struggled getting my stuff to the room and down again.
Noisy music until quite late. Light from flickering tv downstairs coming through the window even when blinds down.
- Henny (9/5): Great! Location and very good value for money - The room was everything that we wanted and the staff were exceptionally, enthusiastic and helpful.
We will be back 😀 No lift but the stairs were easy to negotiate

- Tim (9/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Will certainly recommend to friends. - Staff friendly and professional. N/A
- Linda (7/5): -
- Rob (6/5): - Very functional, tv remote out of batteries.

- Michelle (6/5): It was good 👍 - Delicious menu, friendly staff, good location, great price. I had a few things but the main 2 complaints were, the smell of the room it had a pungent smell like bad water.
And the toilet on the seat lid towards the back of it had a smear of light brown residue. I knew what it was. Instantly gave me an icky feel when I had to clean it myself 😞
- Don (10/5): - Staff in every section were very helpful and extremely friendly
- Katina (7/5): -
- Roger (3/5): Sadly the kingsize bed consisted of a large single bed and add on to bring it up to king size - There was none. question irrelevant. d. d. unit 11. there was only one chair in the room for 2 people d. d.
- Tim (9/5): - Great food rooms are comfortable for the price
- Kerry (7/5): Had a very good stay. Staff excellent - friendly, accommodating. Would return if the need arises. - Everything pretty good. Staff excellent. Meals in restaurant very good. Location good for our purpose. No hairdryer in room (borrowed one from a friend's room). Pillow a bit hard. Facilities a bit dated, but was still good value for money.
- Tri (10/5): -
- Michelle (7/5): -
- Gladys (5/5): Improve on beds and the floor on the passage please. - Location to visit family and friends. The bed was the waste one I’ve ever slept on, hard like a cardboard and now my back hurts more as I have a terrible backache.
- William Ericsson (8/5): - Super friendly staff The noise coming from the ground floor: live music, people shouting, laughing and talking (it was not nice) Saturday night couldn't sleep well
- Ian L (7/5): Cheap but Bond expensive - Low cost Had to pay a bond 50% higher than actual cost of the room. Ridiculous as rooms were old, nothing to damage. Soap only, no shampoo was very poor
- David (8/5): It was good for what we needed. - Did not have breakfast It was ok
- Kellie (9/5): -
- Kellie (9/5): -
- Simon (9/5): A great place to stay for Gather Round and the races. - Great room, very cheap, excellent food, and surprisingly quiet for a big and busy pub. Nothing.
- Mick (10/5): - Ali good Lack of transport later on in the evening, not the venue issue
- Rhonda (9/5): - I arrived at 3pm on a Saturday & was very hungry. I asked the barmaid if the kitchen was closed. Was very suprised that they offer all day dining. Meal was delicious as was my coffee. Everyone from reception to bar staff were great. I liked everything.
- Tim (9/5): We have stayed here for the past four Easter holidays and had a great experience each time. - Great staff and excellent meals. Older style accommodation, but clean and roomy. Small bathroom but sufficient for our needs, with plenty of hot water in the shower. Great location for access to Novar Gardens Bowling and Pétanque Club & Glenelg All good. It would be good if the squeaky floorboards in room and passageway could be fixed
- Wheare (8/5): Nice and clean place which is one of the better places I have stayed at and good value for money... - So many things that I am applying for a job there :-) The next door rooms shower was very noisy that it actually woke me up... :-(
- Rob (8/5): I enjoyed it, but a bit remote for meal choices. - It was clean and functional Needed updating, 60’s style.
- Ian (8/5): - Close and handy for where we wanted to be.
Good value for what we required.
Food was good. Breakfast not available.
- Maurice (8/5): -
- Allan (8/5): Great value old school pub room. - Clean tidy, comfortable bed and hot shower, at the right price, without bells and whistles, what more do you need. Friendly staff and convenient location.
- Joanne (9/5): -
- ADAM (8/5): - All Good The centre of the king bed you can fill the middle if you lay in the middle or to cuddle in the middle, the TV can be upgraded so you can have YouTube, etc
- Jenni van Wageningen (9/5): -
- Deidre (6/5): -
- Kristine (7/5): -
- Kathryn (5/5): -
- Delphin (6/5): -
- Antoine (6/5): Fine but expensive for what it is - The food at the restaurant was good, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location is super random next to a liquor store and gaming salon, the walls are paper thin in the rooms and the floor cracks a lot so you hear everything and everyone.
The place is fine in itself, but it’s basically just expensive for what you get. I would’ve been happy with the room if I had paid 20% less.
- David (6/5): Nice hotel but a long way from the city. - Staff were great ,wifi didnt work in my original room so an immediate swap was arranged .The in house restaurant is very good . My only issue with the hotel was the distance from Adelaide city and the unreliable public transport, I ended using the tram line which was a good 15 mins walk from the hotel.
- pieter (8/5): - Schoon en kwaliteit pris verhouding
- xJohnnyCashx (9/5): Enjoyable stay, would definitely book again. - Friendly staff, food was good! Not a whole lot to fix.. creaky floors a bit loud when your trying to come back late and not wake anyone 😅
- Scott M (8/5): - The bed was comfortable Nothing comes to mind
- April Roulstone (6/5): Disappointing - Reasonably priced Very noisy in the room, could hear everything through the walls.
Shower was pretty poor
Bed wasn't very comfortable
- Jake (4/5): I would stay again if the rooms were cleaner. I feel that the rooms are in need of a renovation soon - The Pub and food down stairs was great. The room was quite dirty, dust and lint everywhere. I spent an hour cleaning before settling in. I was also above the music stage, which was fine, but it became annoying after 10pm as I couldn't sleep.
- Gloria (6/5): Can be better - Staff really nice, big parking space, really nice bar and dining area, big bed and big bedroom No lift.
We found a dirty towel (wich was replace by staff)
The shower’s floor was dirty (there was a bandaid)
Big spiderweb on the wall
One of the windows frame came off.
When the guest next to us was taking shower late in the night there was a really loud noise.
The floor in the corridor was making a weird noise every step and I couldn’t sleep really good during the night.
- Pat (2/5): - When I arrived at my room the door was wide open. Didn't need to use a key. VERY VERY SCARY. Anyone could have been hiding in the room. I was unable to report this as there was nobody at Reception the morning I left. NO SECURITY.. DOOR to my ROOM WIDE OPEN WHEN I ARRIVED.
- Jill (6/5): Good for the price. - All good for the price, which was cheap. Helpful staff. Very very noisy air con (from other rooms if we opened our window. Otherwise good. Ability to open the windows without having to hear loud air con noise from other rooms.
- Carolyn (10/5): - Fantastic all of it Nothing
- Moujahid (9/5): -
- Nicole (10/5): - Clean and tidy No issues
- Katie (8/5): -
- Ross (8/5): Good value for what we paid, Ok for mates weekend trip away. - Great location near horse race track, rooms very clean Bar staff not very responsive to our needs, refused to change TV channel even thou noone else was watching it. Staff not up to date with venue promotion app.
- Richard (6/5): Only book if you need to be in that area or have a car - Tried to make a tired hotel pleasant Very little close by and everything was closed
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Judy (7/5): -
- Marilynn (8/5): -
- tashi71 (8/5): - Location and excellent value for money The loud music playing at the venue until late at night.
- Wheare (8/5): - Clean comfortable bed Toilet had some stubborn stains on it..
- Patrick (8/5): -
- Marilynn (8/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): - Great location I have stayed many times. Would be great to have a little table and two chairs. These could easily fit into the rooms that have the king size beds.
- Gyorgy (9/5): -
- NICHOLLS (7/5): - Value for money Stair access only
- Charupha (9/5): -
- janne (10/5): - We always try and stay here, but this time we could only get one night unfortunately for us. No complaints
- Jashanpreet (8/5): -
- Dr Christopher (8/5): -
- Mona (8/5): - Generally, it was a good stay. The place was clean and nice I also liked the daily room service. The Wi-Fi was quite weak, and the floors creaked when walking, which might be a bit disturbing if you are a light sleeper.
- Michael (7/5): -
- Terry (3/5): -
- Reymar (1/5): - Nice place..reservation is just expensive. 150 dollar deposit for 102dollars/night.. deposit is more expensive than staying for a night..ridiculous.
- Eliza (5/5): Uncomfortable bed - Location, dining, entertainment Bed was two single beds join together dip in middle.
Found doona had pee and blood stains
Only one bedside table
Small bathroom
- JOHN (9/5): Good staff very friendly and enjoy a joke - For an old style hotel room it's great the meals were great also No lift
- Dennis (9/5): Good will stay again - Price and 60s vibe bit noisy because of outside roof aircon ,
- Curtis (4/5): -
- Bernardi (10/5): -
- Ryan (1/5): -
- Larry (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Will stay again - excellent budget hotel. Clean, well-maintained, friendly and attentive hotel staff. plenty of smiles. Take the J7 bus from airport to hotel around 20 minutes travel time. Marion Westfield Mall down the road. SA Aquatics Center next to Mall. A mile from Glenelg Tram station Morphettville. Too bad wasn't closer as that's the way to get to Downtown Adelaide.
- Michelle (10/5): - Everyone was nice and friendly clean room food in restaurant was beautiful. Rooms old but kept clean. Big bed air con cold as quite good for just over night before catching plane. And 15 dollars to airport in a uber he came at 5 30 in the morning
- Hartley (10/5): -
- Sara (10/5): -
- Helen (9/5): -
- Irene (10/5): - The room and linen were immaculate and although quite old the bedroom was very comfortable with good airconditioning. The staff were excellent all the staff were friendly helpful and efficient. We had dinner in the dining room and we all enjoyed our meals. We would definitely stay again.
