• Wan-Yi (8/5): 排除寒流外，還會再訪 - 服務人員非常親切熱情！房間乾淨整潔，跟網路上照片一致。遇到寒流，蓋了二件被子才夠暖，怕冷的人，要多留意。唯一可惜的是房間對於街上的聲音，完全沒有隔音效果，幸好帶著抗噪耳機，才得以入眠。地點非常好，文化路夜市、火車站都很近，嘉義市鬧區，步行都可以到達。

• Sugaya (6/5): - 女子ドミトリー に宿泊。部屋は4人部屋で4人にてフル仕様。各部屋にシャワーとトイレが付いているので、誰かが使っている時は使用不可。1階のトイレを使うしかない。 エレベーターは荷物専用。ホステル内は中履きに履き替える。 地下にラウンジ、5階にキッチン。5階のキッチンは2回利用したが誰もいなかった。 タオル、歯ブラシなし。ボディソープ・シャンプー・コンディショナーあり。 18:00までにチェックインが必要なので注意。 日本語が書かれた注意事項をチェックイン時に渡されたので、わかりやすかった。 カードキーでホステル出入口、ドミルーム、ロッカーを開け閉めする。 ロッカーにカードキーを入れたまま、ロッカーを閉めてしまったが、18:00前だったのでフロントにいるスタッフに対応してもらえた。これが18:00過ぎだったら詰んでいた。

• Siu Wa (10/5): - 女生獨遊背包客入住一晚4人女生宿舍房 。 特點： 1.洗手間浴室設施在房間內、2.退房時候需要自行拆除枕頭套被套以及床褥套、3.是次入住錯過了員工當值時間，幸好旅店有周全的安排讓櫃檯沒有當值人員時段（晚上6:30至翌日早上八點之間）仍然能讓旅客順利入住（很喜歡寫了旅客名字小木盒這個巧思）4.沒有載人電梯，只有運載行李箱的輸送電梯（由於是次入住並沒有帶行李箱，兼且被安排住在地下那層，所以未能體會有關使用行李箱的旅客實際情況；而且翌日亦沒有寄放行李，所以未能評論有關寄存行李事宜。） 感想： 洗手間浴室非常乾淨；注意馬桶不能丟進任何東西。有關退房時要自行拆除被套一事，我個人並沒有反感，由於旅店價錢相宜，加上配套設施甚好，所以某程度上的自助是合理的，只是想反映一下拆除被套的時候聲音可能會騷擾到同房其他住客，我退房當日是清早，拆被套的時候頗煎熬，實在太怕打擾到其他旅客休息，回想起來只有這點是雞肋啊！可惜逗留時間太短，未有確切感受整個旅館所有服務措施，但下一次到嘉義的時候仍然會想入住這旅館～有關在櫃檯人員下班時間才入住事宜，只要提前聯絡櫃檯職員說明情況的話，他們便會作出安排，很安心的入住感受😊 再次謝謝旅館人員的協助👏👏👏

• suzuki (8/5): コスパ良し - 駅や夜市から徒歩圏内だし、観光スポットへはレンタサイクルで周れます。スタッフは美味しいところをたくさん教えてくれました。とてもお得な滞在ができ、大変満足です！ 短所は、フロントが10:00～18:00なための荷物の預かりに注意です。またトイレットペーパーが流せないのとシャワーブースとの仕切りがないため床が濡れます。
• Li Yi (4/5): - Room is very inconvenient, the only furniture is the bunk bed and locker. There’s no elevated surface to put items on. There is only luggage elevator which you’d still need to lift your baggages to put them in. Staff were great, they recommended us a lot of places to visit. The shared kitchen and hang out spaces are nice too. I’d only recommend this for solo travelers.

• Verified traveler (4/5): 雙人房 - 我們住的是雙人房，一開始拿到的房間充滿煙味，向櫃檯反應後立刻換了一間，但第二間依然有一股霉味，冷氣開一陣子之後才消散。 房間非常小，牆面有點髒，浴室地板有殘留頭髮，整體的清潔度不甚滿意，房內有一台電視一副桌椅，沒有其他裝飾，沒有度假感，但便宜，地點不錯。

• Verified traveler (6/5): 尚可 - 在Hotels的飯店名稱跟實際飯店名稱不一樣尋找時還疑惑一下，窗台有一位飯店人員完全沒指引眼神露出看嫌犯之意，反倒是路人甲指引入口處的位置，接待人員親和，解說環境一口氣完成，說實在短時間無法消化，飯店的結構就是透天厝，房間約3坪左右衛浴在房間裏，睡眠方面上舖床一有動作便發出影響力聲響，隔壁上舖刺眼燈光打整晚直接透入下舖超級影響到睡眠品質，退房時必須把床套枕頭套棉被套自行拆解送至洗衣間~是有些令人…無言。上鋪半夜2點準備出發，上鋪動作是小心翼翼床板還是有乒乓聲，被吵醒機率是80%⬆️，假設她再拆解床單等…

• Verified traveler (10/5): 個人住宿 - 走在住宿的巷弄裡，對面有五金行，很容易找尋，當天晚上7點多入住旅社，旅社人員早已貼心的將房卡放在可愛的造型箱裡，第一次嘗試住上下舖可容納4人的房間，基本上旅客素質尚可;看旅社標示說明，可得知B1層樓有交誼廳，5樓有廚房可以使用，若需要盥洗用品與毛巾，房間的走道有擺放，可自行投幣租用。

• saki (4/5): - I guess it’s just the timing but, I stayed two nights and never saw the free coffee or tea that supposed to be in the kitchen (there was free water dispenser though), then when we come back around 10 am on the 1/21 they saw as at entrance but didn’t say anything about it and we found that there was no electricity in the room and had to go downstairs to ask what happened to the electricity and they said: oh there is no light till 3pm. I don’t know if that was only for that day or if it’s a regular thing but... couldn’t you just notice us before we go up at the moment we greet each other 😓

• Verified traveler (6/5): Ventilation? - I stayed here for one night, so I don't know if my experience can serve as a true representation of the place, but here we go. Overall, the place is rather big, and you get a lot of place to just sit around and chill. They also have a kitchen, so you can cook for yourself if you want. The biggest problem I had was the room. It was a dormitory-style ensuite room. I know dormitory ensuite can go both ways where it can be convenient to have a bathroom in the room, but your neighbors might be crazy and want to take a shower at 2 in the morning. Luckily, all my roommates had common sense. The problem was that the bathroom smelled bad. The whole room smelled like the bathroom. We had a window, but the window screen was broken. I didn't want any bugs in my room, so I decided to just cope with the smell. The bathroom could use some updates, but it wasn't exactly gross. It just smelled like a public bathroom. The location is quite nice. It's very close to the station and supermarkets. Wifi in the room was also very usable.

• Mong Keng (8/5): Value for money - The place was clean as you’ll have to change to indoor slippers before entering, however the walls were really thin and I could hear the rain at night. The mattress was thin too but okay for one nights sleep. The attached bathroom was clean and there was soap provided. Location wise it was a 5-10mins walk from Chiayi Train Station and very convenient with many food choices around. Wenhua Road night market was also walkable around 15 mins away. The staff were really helpful and there’s a basement open area you could use, sofas and even a Mac desktop! Do note there are no elevators so best to travel light, or you could ask for a helping hand!

It's a shame that there isn't much seating on the terrace and that the area looked forgotten. I had to check out before breakfast started but the staff helpfully told me where the suppliers were and that I should help myself.

• soleil (6/5): 比較的駅から近く、新しいスタイルのドミトリー - エントランスも若い人向きでオープンな感じは良い。スタッフも親切で聞いた情報を答えてくれます。5階にはフリースペースがあり、おしゃべりや、お茶をするには良いです。朝食もここでいただけます。しかし階段のみです。 時間外でも利用はできます。外のテラスは広く洗濯機もここにあります。 残念ながら部屋はかなり狭く人が一人通るスペースしかないので寝るだけと考えて。トイレもシャワーも部屋の中にありますがトイレも一緒になってるので同時に使用不可です。ベットは比較的ワイドでショーツもクリーンなので寝るのは快適です。欲を言わなければ 値段相応にすごせます。

• AlexanderHsu (10/5): Very good hostel with lovely common areas - The hostel is well located on a quiet street 10mn walk from TRA Chiayi station. Hostel rooms are simple but nice and have bathrooms inside. The best thing about this hostel is the common areas -- there is one big common room in the basement, and another big one on the rooftop (this is where breakfast is served), with kitchen and an outdoor terrace.
• Wat (10/5): Nice hostel near train station - It might be the best choice for backpackers in this area. It's facilities fell like trying to connecting people. Note that you need to pay small fee to rent towels.

• CHIA-CHUNG (10/5): - 離嘉義車站近，走約15分鐘會到。周邊生活機能方便又離鬧區一段距離，算是鬧中取靜的好地方！

• JIH-SHENG (2/5): - 不怎麼樣，到時才知是提供背包客的自助式旅店，22:00以後無人服務，4樓沒電梯，真是有障礙空間，房價1750與設備相比，不等值
• Szu-Yin (10/5): 三五好友出遊的好選擇 - 住宿地點距離火車站很近，可步行至文化路夜市，很多美食可以選擇！房間很乾淨舒適，天臺廚房是吃喝聊天的好地方。

• アポロ (6/5): 事務的 - 五階の食堂スペースで、ダンスの練習をする15～20人の集団がいた、くつろげないし、軽食もとれない、冷蔵庫にも近づけなかった。フロントからとおいので管理できないのであろう、エレベーターもない。

• xiaohong (8/5): 推荐入住 - 老板特别的帅，环境很干净。就是晚上睡觉时，记得关上洗手间的抽风机，不然会被吵得睡不着。

• Brodie (10/5): Great staff - I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. It's small but comfortable, great design and top floor common area. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chiayi.

• Pikkan (6/5): 安くて便利な立地のホテル - 早朝嘉義から阿里山へ行く森林鉄道に乗るために宿泊しました。駅から徒歩10分程度で近く、夜市にもそれくらいで行けます。 私は9時過ぎにチェックインしました。フロントにスタッフがいるのが22時までなので、22時以降のチェックインはできるか分かりません。尋ねたほうが良いでしょう。22時以降のホテルの出入りはカードキーで行います。 部屋には2段ベッドが2組ありました。荷物は部屋内にある個人用のロッカー（小）に入れます。これはカードキーで解錠できます。部屋内にシャワーとトイレがあり4人で共用します。私はたまたま他に宿泊者が1名しかいなかったので、快適に過ごすことができました。

• Aries (10/5): A modern BnB - It's my 2nd stay at Light Hostel, everything was rather hassle-free. Very friendly people at the reception. Love the kitchen at L5 for packed supper (if you also prefer not to dine in the room), a breather at balcony and you can also do your laundry here. Short walk to the night market. Cute luggage lift by the way.
• Dennis (8/5): Clean hostel with young vibes - We stay in the double room for a night, the price and location are super, I like their atomsphere and they have a really large common area, but the air-con in the room are bit old, quite noisy, also, you can easily hear other guests talking while in the room.

• Emily (8/5): Convenient location, good for short stay - Location is very convenient. Just 5 minutes from the train station. The facilities are good except the bathroom drains is slow.
• Christine (10/5): Beyond my expectation - I wasn't expecting so much of a backpacker hostel but this turned out to be really great. The hostel area is safe and near to popular places. The hostel room is really clean and edgy with own bathroom in each 4-bunk-bed room which is definitely a bonus for them. However, the hostel stuff seems slightly unfriendly consider that she did not bother to explain about their hostel or places around.
• Thomas (10/5): Fabulous hostel - Loved my stay here - convenient location once you find it, and the rooms are compact but super clean with great bathrooms. Friendly staff. They ask you to place your shoes at a footlocker near the reception, which was odd, but ok. Breakfast is via vouchers with a choice of two locations (Taiwanese or Continental), so no complaints there. The Taiwanese breakfast resto folks didn't speak English, so in case you want to play safe with your food, I recommend the continental option.
• Linden (2/5): Loud children everywhere - The walls and floor are so thin that I can hear people talking in other rooms. With this in mind, imagine children thumping and screaming up and down the stairs for hours. This is what we endured and we're woken up by at 7:00am. We couldn't even hear the tv at full volume they were so loud. Asking the staff made no difference. They didn't seem to care.
