- Emma (9/5): Delightful and extremely comfortable. - Tatsfield is extremely pretty, and the Bakery was the perfect base for a wedding weekend. The bed was huge and the bedding luxurious, with a huge shower and plenty of towels. The breakfast was delicious! There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, it was a gorgeous room.
- Anthony (10/5): A great place to stay just off The North Downs Way. - Very comfortable, quiet room. The owners were very kind and helpful. The packet lunch was excellent as was the breakfast. Nothing.
- Thomas (10/5): - Clean, friendly staff and lovely breakfast a N/A
- Simon (8/5): Comfortable stay - Friendly team. Looked after us well especially as one of us is gluten free. Looking a bit tired now and the towel rail was hanging off. Apart from that it was fine.
- Susan (9/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): - The accommodation was smart and clean - would stay again Due to being new owners they were not in a position to either have the bar open or do evening meals, and I think the fired breakfast would have benefited from also having mushrooms
- paul (10/5): I would highly recommend, having stayed at many B&Bs this by fair is up with one of my best for relaxing, comfort an - Location, warm feeling, and being very welcomed Nothing
- Cathy (8/5): If in the area again would definitely go back - Room was decorated to a high standard, good choice of teas/coffee in the room, bed very comfortable and pillows were amazing!! Breakfast was very good, gluten free options available and our server was lovely. Would definitely use again Bathroom door had glass panels that you could see through, personally I would have liked it to be completely covered over.
- Alethea (10/5): A really relaxing one night stay to recover after a full day walking part of the North Downs Way - A simply lovely setting with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. The owner was super-helpful and made me an evening meal even though the restaurant was closed!
- Sally (9/5): Great for our stay and very accessible for my husband who is blind - Nicely decorated comfy bed great shower delicious fresh breakfast friendly owner Restaurant not open
- Sherylyn (9/5): Perfect - The position was ideal for our needs. Plenty of parking.
The room was spotless and very comfortable. There were nice touches. A magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Plenty of towels and toiletries.
Breakfast times were very flexible and breakfast was freshly cooked. Nothing was too much trouble Nothing

- Sonya (10/5): Friendly and comfortable beds - Friendly service
- Sonya (10/5): Very good breakfast - The location and the breakfast
- Paul (9/5): - Stay was for local family party so great location. Venue was clean and tidy, good breakfast staff were all very professional and cheery. Few options locally so can command a high price. Was well presented and furnished but have stayed in better hotels for similar money that had a full restaurant bar and lesuire facilities.

- Emma (10/5): - Lovely host when we arrived - made certain we were settled and nothing was too much trouble. The weather was really warm but the room was lovely and cool and able to leave the window open with no noise or issue. Breakfast was utterly fabulous with some lovely fruit and healthy options as well as the "full english".
Would 100% stay here again That we stayed at another B&B the previous night and should have done 2 nights at the bakery!
- Barbara (7/5): - Bed comfy shower good Staircase, yogurt, was far too thick
Would have been nice to choose the fruit ( more & different variety, & yogurt )ourselves. Plus fruit juice which we had to ask for
- Kelly (10/5): - Excellent breakfast and stunning location Nothing
- Patricia (10/5): Very pleasant stay in a lovely setting. - The staff were very welcoming and extremely professional. The breakfast menu was excellent.

- Emma (9/5): Comfortable and friendly - Very accommodating and friendly. Its quite out of the way therefore perhaps prices could be a-little more affordable. But the service and quality is great
- Steven (5/5): -
- Gina (10/5): Quaint little village location - Lovely location in pretty village. Room warm and cosy. Staff friendly. Excellent breakfast
- enda (10/5): I’ll be back - Warm reception
Clean well equipped room
Excellent food
- David (6/5): Room fine but no communication from staff - They didn’t tell us the restaurant would be closed as there was a private function. This function was noisy which we could clearly hear in our room. I had to ask how long it was going for. They then told me about 10
- John (10/5): Excellent chilled venue to stay with relaxed atmosphere and great breakfast. - Really nice room, big spacious en-suite with walk in shower. Very plush bed. Excellent breakfast in bright casual cafe dining area. Easy parking Nothing it was well above what I had expected. I had booked based purely on proximity to a wedding, but if I lived nearer I would definitely visit again.
- Sarah (8/5): Lovely place, excellent breakfast - Excellent location for wedding at The Barn. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, first class. The glass partially frosted door to the bathroom in the centre of the room maybe needs a rethink, but other than that, excellent. We were over the electrical units, that were loud at 8am when they went on, but that was minor.
- antony (10/5): - Everything was great nice large room friendly staff and good breakfast.
- Prescott (8/5): - The breakfast was great. Good choice and great quality. The coffee was excellent. A very pleasant place to stay. My only very small niggle was the tv reception wasn't great. Not a problem for us really, but....
- andrew (10/5): - Everything great, the parking was easy, the room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and very helpfull and the food was some of the best I and my wife have ever tasted.
Rated excellent. 5 stars plus There was a piece of machinery which was running on and off quietly in the background which wasn't noticeable during the day but at night became more obvious.. otherwise Just keep going as you are.
- Bevens (8/5): Great little place - Comfy bed, lovely drinks and food, nice bathroom I could hear humming early hours in the morning. Almost like a generator. Breakfast took a little while and some items were out of stock.
- Jenny (10/5): - Breakfast was very good, nicely cooked and presented. It was a nice quiet location. The evening menu was really nice, tasty tapas. All staff were very friendly. Good comfortable rooms.
- Paul (8/5): -
- jane (10/5): - Absolutely loved the room, location for the Barn at Botley was fab. Check in & out times were good as was the breakfast. I would only add beans to the full cooked breakfast 😁 No beans with full cooked breakfast. But that's it ! Everything else perfect
- jane (10/5): -
- Showell (10/5): Excellent B&B lovely staff - Very nice breakfast, a bit on the small size Everything was perfect
- Milly (9/5): - Room was clean and cosy, the surroundings were very pretty! Our dog was welcomed and the breakfast was decent. Good location for our trip and very quiet. Bathroom door was a bit questionable as it was partly see through 😂 the window in our room was actually balcony door which was cool but meant you couldn't really have a window open at night.
- Greg (10/5): -
- Joshua (10/5): - Perfect one night get away.
We had a throughly awesome stay in this beautiful hotel.
We didn’t have dinner here as had plans in westerham but the super staff were so helpful and attentive when we arrived and ensured us we would be able to get into the hotel even if the restaurant door was closed. We returned from our evening in westerham to the door being closed but a rear door accessing the hotel part of the building.
A quiet relaxing sleep in our suite was perfect end to our evening.
Breakfast was amazing!!! Fresh juice and coffee and a fry up. What more could you want on a Saturday morning.
We will 100000% be returning.
- Chris (8/5): -
- Beryl (10/5): Very comfortable and welcoming place to stay especially near to weddings at Botley Hill. Village i was also cute - Loved our super comfortable room with courtyard, the truly excellent English breakfast with vegan options, and especially how welcoming and accommodating the staff were. Real hospitality! Nicole part of the new management was just great, and Elsie our waitress too. Thank you :) Nothing to dislike !
- d (7/5): Perfect - We were visiting family so very close to where they live Seem a bit disorganised and work being carried out to improve the facilities
- Nicola (8/5): great stay, great staff! - Wonderful staff - could not have been more helpful to accommodate us, our toddler and dog! We booked the suite and the bed was huge and very comfy. Dinner and breakfast where both very tasty and good quality n/a
- Robert (10/5): Amazing Find - We were greeted by very friendly staff, who made us feel very welcome.
The rooms were excellent, very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was awesome, and needed after late drinks the previous night.
- Rudolf (9/5): Sehr gut - Sehr ruhige Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück -
- jayne (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful village and setting Immaculate accommodation and such fabulous staff. Polite and so helpful. Plus a great breakfast. 👍
Will book again
- Amelia (10/5): - Just leaving the most incredible stay at the Bakery B & B . I litrally can not find a single fault . From the most comfortable beds we have EVER stayed in , to the most clean rooms & whole place , such attentive lovely staff ( a special mention to Elsie & the other young girl and the lovely owner who was so welcoming 🙏) , to the delicious breakfast and fantastic coffees. Litrally can not recommend enough. We were here for a wedding but absolutely would not hesitate to return simply because we loved the Bakery B & B . Absoloutley nothing loved it all !
- Phillip (10/5): Would absolutely stay here again. The accommodation was good and staff great! - I wasn't quite sure what to expect but possibly having a toddler and a dog meant we were put into room 9. For us - it was perfect. The dog and the toddler are actually exceptionally good (and quiet) but new surroundings etc was a concern. Room 9 is based in a little court yard. You can easily get to the carpark etc (or out with the dog for a wee) without needing to walk through various buildings/corridors.
Room was amble big enough. I think the heating needs some attention. The bathroom was like a furnace with no obvious way (that worked) to turn it down. Also - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE permanently fix the mirror to the wall. Its just asking for someone to get 7 years of bad luck!
- Jill (10/5): Great value and very quiet. - Rooms very clean and comfortable and well appointment. Breakfast was outstanding. Disappointed we didn’t get a chance to eat at the Bistro as it was closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday but will definitely be back for another visit.
- Beaseley (8/5): - Room was clean and comfortable
- Martin (8/5): Cycle to Paris - In my bedroom I could hear some sort of compressor starting and stopping all night.
It was a noise from outside the room.
- Catherine (1/5): Set off at 5.30am to cycle to Dover - Good location Nothing
- Elaine (10/5): Excellent accommodation and would stay again! - The rooms that we stayed in were excellent. Very clean and accommodating. Complimentary water provided at all times plus tea making facilities.
Breakfast was also excellent with a lovely young man serving this. Cannot really fault The Bakery. Lovely location as well.
- Sandra (10/5): - We stayed for 1 night after a wedding. We also took our small dog. The room was exceptional, clean, well furnished, tastefully decorated and just perfect. Breakfast was fantastic, such a selection. Beautifully presented. Staff were fab. We left a suit behind which they are kindly storing for us....THANK YOU Nothing
- Reginald (10/5): -
- David (9/5): -
- Amber (10/5): - It’s a small inn but the chef is super creative evidence d by locals eating in their restaurant as well.
- Trudie (9/5): - Lovely staff and dining/bar facilities. Clean rooms. Not a negative...just an observation..it was a very busy afternoon and evening for the Bakery with a private party, which was a little limiting for us.
- Martin (8/5): - Nice stay, a little unorganised initially but a nice stay. Parking was great.
- Helena (9/5): A lovely stay - A lovely B&B, comfortable, clean and lovely breakfast. Bit noisy in the mornings with people having breakfast outside, right underneath our bedroom window with a barking dog at 8am. It was very hot so we needed the window open.
- Peter (10/5): Lovely stay - Staff friendly and welcoming. Food excellent. Room comfortable and decorated well
- Brown (10/5): Biggin Hill trip - The bakery was much improved from last year as the new owners had revamped the accommodation .would stay there again N/a
- Alex (8/5): Will be back. 👍👍 - Friendly and personal Minor comment on the breakfast - quality of everything was great, except the sausages were very disappointing compared to everything else. Almost odd, but a great breakfast none the less!
- Chrissy (8/5): Nice and comfy - Room was nice and spacious. Large bed however stairs were very steep and awkward. Would recommend you request a ground floor room if any mobility concerns
- Dawn (10/5): Exceptional - Our room was very clean, with plenty of space. Bed large and comfortable.
Shower was big and powerful.
Breakfast was a real feast. Freshly cooked and well presented with plenty of choice
Unfortunately we had to leave early due to personal reasons. But will be coming to stay again in a few weeks.
- Terry (10/5): Fab from start to finish - Location perfect, room amazing , breakfast wonderful Nothing
- Mark (9/5): Excellent - The quirky shape , and the food No shelf in shower to put soap/shower gel, but not a major problem
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Excellent all round stay - Lovely little place with a very friendly welcoming. All the staff were polite and accommodating. The food in the evening was really good and this was on point again at breakfast. Great value for money and will most definitely stay again. Free on site Parking available
- Geoffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geoffrey (9/5): A quick night stopover with good breakfast - A return visit to find it was under new ownership and about to reopen the restaurant.
- Ross (8/5): A pleasant hotel in a charming country village that offers good value for money - Location and parking availability, room was a good size with a small courtyard. Fresh white fluffy towels everyday, nice touch. Breakfast was amazing, basically cook whatever you want and the croissants are extremely yummy, baked fresh every morning. We would like to suggest that a shelf in the shower area would be a really good idea as the girls had to put their toiletries on the shower floor. A small bar fridge and a safety deposit box would add convenience. Just one other suggestion the furniture in our room was old, scratched and chipped, could look at refinishing or even better replacing with more modern units.
- Deborah (9/5): Must visit b&b - Lovely property. Crisp clean bedding. Staff very welcoming. Complimentary water and breakfast included.
- Russell (9/5): Superb - The room was very clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent Nothing
- Laura (9/5): Superb - We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were exceptional, nothing seemed like too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, and we left both mornings full and happy. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean. Parking was ample and close to our room. The courtyard area was great, as was our little outside seating area, which gave off a wonderful Mediterranean feel. The restaurant, pub, post office, duck pond, and children's playground are all charming local additions. Being able to help ourselves to bottled water was appreciated. The bathroom in our room was in need of a couple of repairs, but this was insignificant in comparison to all of the things we enjoyed about our stay.
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely friendly & helpful staff. Very comfortable & clean room.
- Zinkant (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqueline (10/5): A booking problem was solved with grace - We didn’t actually get to stay because of a mess booking the last remaining room via booking. com and a contemporaneous walk-in booking. Despite online confirmation from booking.com that we had secured the room the walk-ins got it by being there in person. Grrrrr - the property and the proprietor were really charming The proprietor was very apologetic and at her expense had booked us alternative accommodation and breakfast at a more expensive local hotel (only about 3 miles away).
The alternative (The Landing at Biggin Hill) met our needs perfectly so all was well that ended well 😊
- Alwine (10/5): Perfect weekend getaway, lovely location, beautiful room and amazing staff! Well done! - Fantastic find would highly recommend. Bed was super comfy and breakfasts were freshly cooked to order. Staff are super friendly and accommodating! Nothing is too much trouble. There was nothing we did not like about The Bakery!
- Mandy (8/5): Overall a peaceful stay - Good breakfast The complimentary tea coffee had not been topped up and no milk . We arrived late and had to call them to find out how to get in. Really needed a cuppa after a long journey
- Pamela (10/5): This was the best experience we’ve ever had when staying at a B&B, thank you! - To be honest our whole experience of our 2 night stay at Bakery was totally exceptional! The location, the room, the venue, the Team, the food, the facilities were all amazing!
Such a friendly greeting and from then on nothing was too much trouble. We were thrilled by the decor, the layout and furnishings. Absolutely ‘Nothing’ could be better than it was during our stay.
- Aidan (10/5): My stay at The Bakery B&B was excellent—the place was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly. - Clean and very comfortable. Nothing to dislike, great value for money
