Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I really enjoyed my 3 night stay here. This was my first B&B experience... and I've been spoiled rotten. Welcomed with a small pot of coffee served in the room it only remained top notch. The room was a top floor unit with a front yard & garden view. I liked the free English breakfast served in a nice dining area. Plenty of cereal, juice, & toast with many jams both homemade and factory produced were also avail. It was clean & super quiet. Free parking right out front was good, but limited to maybe 6 or 7. It did not matter much as I was only guest staying there. The location is good as a base point for driving on day trips in the area. It's an easy walk to a Tesco for food & a Shell gas station is located across the street. The electric kettle with free coffee, tea, & hot chocolate worked well. There were cookies & mints provided as well. Wi-fi was easy to setup and worked well. Hot water was very good, as it's an electric on demand wall unit. Towel heaters worked well.
Although the high points were incredibly high. There are some areas in need of improvement. Built-in USB chargers would be nice. As would a table or a desk to sit at. A mini refrigerator would also be welcome. Also, had issues with my newly bought TOM TOM GPS finding the location. It's in Crediton near the train station, NOT in the middle of Yeofold 3 miles (of back roads) away.

- Nick (10/5): Excellent B & B , lovely area - Stayed at the Taw, gorgeous , quiet peaceful location, lovely walks / run available just off the back of the house. Excellent breakfast , warm , clean comfortable room, charming hosts ... would stay again without a thought !!!
- Christopher (10/5): only 50 yards from railway station tranquil spot - very good stay b/b spotlessly clean with excellant tea/coffee and good breakfast.unbelievable amount of wardrobe space
- Peter (8/5): Enjoyable stay in Crediton - Friendly B&B and we were well looked after for our two nights there. Good breakfasts, and quite a few good places close by in town to eat in the evenings. Close to a main road, but wooden shutters kept out any road noise completely.
- Paul and Diane (10/5): Taw Vale B&B - Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully kept house and garden offering an amazing breakfast with homemade preserves. Service extended to phoning us up when we had left something behind.
Will definitely stay there again when next in the area.
- Cressida (10/5): Lovely stay in Crediton - I was personally met at the train station by the owner which was a lovely suprise because I was not sure of the b&b location and had heavy bags.
The studio room that I had was ideal. It was outside in a separate unit and would be wonderful for summer time. Breckfast was lovely and plenty of it too! The only one thing that let my room down was the wifi signal strength and no full length mirror! It wouldn't put me off staying again though
