- Rod (10/5): Vermont bike trip 2025 - Great little “niche” hotel. Serves as a great base camp for local activities. The owners are very involved, and were very knowledgeable of the area. Can’t say enough about the breakfast and service. I appreciated the biker friendly atmosphere as I was on a solo trip. The clientele seemed seemed to be mostly return customers, and knew the owners by name. I take an annual trip to the area, I will definitely make this my stay in the future.
- Stephen (10/5): - Just got back from a 3 night stay at the Inn. First time ever at a B&B for me. I don't think I will ever go to another hotel again. This inn was rustic (very Vermont'ish) which I liked, room was clean and it was QUIET. Thats a big plus for me. The owners were friendly, caring, and just down to earth good people. Breakfast was very good. They have a nice fireside firepit outside and I met some really good people there. I'm a no frills kind of person. I don't need a 5 star hotel nor could I afford one. And when I travel, I rarely go back to the same hotel because most times I am disappointed. But I will definitely return to this Inn again without hesitation. Can't wait to go back!

- Cheryl (10/5): - Charming inn with old world ski lodge vibes- think knotty pine walls. Room was very clean and cozy. Good hot breakfast each morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. I requested - and received- a ground floor room because of mobility issues. I knew there was no elevator, per Expedia listing, but the dining room was up a long flight of stairs for breakfast each morning. If you cannot do stairs, this may not work for you. Several restaurant options just down the road. Great fire pit and chairs outside in the evening. Also has indoor family room on ground floor with plenty of seating and games you can use with shared refrigerator and microwave in this area.

Anything I asked for, I got. Breakfast was made fresh each day by one of the owners. Having stayed in 15 hotels in the last 30 days, I would rate this the highest. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely stay there again if the need arises. 10 out of 10 :-)

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting Mount Snow and it was a great location, too. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable. There was a TV in the room, but it was very small and not great quality -- but, that wasn't what we wanted to stay for anyway! The ski locker room was a very cool feature if you want to get suited up at the inn and take the Moover shuttle to the mountain. There's also lots of books and games if you're looking for something to do with your family. Thank you for a great experience!

The accommodations are both beautifully and comfortably pleasing and reflect the West Dover Mountain area in which the Inn is located. Our host Andrew couldn't have more inviting and helpful providing us with a great list of Vermont Green Mountain locations to visit with directions. The morning breakfast was outstanding as well. Put this on your "must stay" list.

Was convenient to be about 100 yards from a little store that has almost everything you might need, and to have a little fridge in the room. Room 14 was clean and comfortable.

The owner of the hotel almost sounded like he was looking to give me trouble for no apparent reason during our brief encounter. Otherwise, nice hotel, in a good location. Sound insulation was not good at all though. I could hear everything from outside and from other rooms.

- Michael (10/5): Quite country cabin, Great B-fast, no frills - Cute little cabin/B&B. Very rustic and warm. Hosts were amazingly friendly and the made to order breakfast each morning was fantastic and always started the day off to a nice start. The rooms are small, especially the bathroom. And there are none of the normal hotel amenities (microwave, minifridge, coffee maker, ect) in the rooms, but they do have a 'community' kitchen/BYOB bar downstairs. If your looking for a quite getaway in a friendly little cabin, this is your place. If you need the spoils of a Hilton/Ramada, go elsewhere. Super quite place in a great location. Very close to Mt. Snow and less than an hour to Stratton and Okemo.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice owners, but just ok accommodations. - The owners were very nice. The room was not the best, but not the worst. It could definitely use some upgrades. The room itself wasn't a bad size, but the bathroom was so very tiny- it was almost impossible to shower. We saw other rooms that had bigger and updated bathrooms. Room 12 is not one of them. We did not realize that quiet hours were from 8pm-8 am so we kind of felt like we were isolated to our rooms and couldn't do much. The breakfast was nice. The location to Mt. Snow was very convenient.
- Adrianna (6/5): Cozy cozy Inn - 6 minutes from Mount Snow - Very very cozy room - our room is located in the basement, bathroom is newly remodeled but very small with the sink located outside the bathroom which make it inconvenient after using the restroom. The wall are paper thin … I was weakening up multiple time from the guest room above us walking around. Breakfast was great- location is 6 minutes from Mount Snow. Other than that for $200/night I don’t think we will be coming back.

Plumbing was a bit dodgy with a clogged toilet and shower water temperature ranging from cold to scalding. - Vincent (10/5): - The Kitzhof is a very nice property for those seeking a low key place that is a hybrid inn and b&b. The breakfasts are excellent. We liked hanging out by the fireplace with other guests, drinking our byob. Very close to Mt. Snow and they have a ski and boot room. The rooms are nice, wood beam walls with a private bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. This was our first stay and we rebooked for next month. It is owned by a British couple, and it was obvious they take pride in their property.

We stayed in room 12 which consisted of a queen and a little living space with a couch & closet space. It was perfect for 2 people and a few days on the mountain. Breakfast is included & made to order by them and was absolutely delicious- each day we had something different. There is a room to keep your ski/snowboard and boots which makes it convenient when you come and leave each day for the mountain. There was also a nice local mountain bar within walking distance! This was the perfect quiet and cozy cabin-like getaway for a few days. Highly recommend!
- Linda A. (10/5): - We stayed at the Kitzhof Inn for a 3 night ski vacation. The proximity to Mt. Snow is perfect. The hotel was very quaint and extremely clean. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff was very helpful. Apparently, the people who stayed in the room prior to us did some unseen damage like pulling the thermostat from the wall and removing a peg from the bunk beds, but the owners did their best to fix things immediately. They were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place! We had a great time!
- Cheryl (10/5): - The inn is a qaint and charming log cabin field with friendly proprietors and staff and a hot breakfast each day. The location is extremely convenient to Mount Snow and the availability of a ski and boot room is helpful. There are lots of different public areas for cozy gatherings or larger get together‘s. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size and included a comfortable bed. The bathroom was tiny with a small shower stall, but it was workable for two adults. The front corner room in which we stayed had mini blinds set inside the window glass, which could be closed about 3/4 of the way. Unfortunately, there were spotlights shining on the wall outside our room, illuminating the property signage, and those lights, along with the parking lot lights, shined in the window and made our room bright all night. Some room darkening shades or curtains would have been very helpful and appreciated. Other than some traffic noise from the road outside the window, the property was quiet and cozy place to spend the evening’s post ski. There were a lot of restaurants in the area, but very limited choices Monday through Wednesday nights. Be sure to check hours of operation before venturing out for food. We ended up getting made to order sandwiches at the Mount Snow market, which is 100 yards down the road, and eating on premises two of the three nights, rather than waiting two hours for a table at one of the two or three restaurants that were actually open.
