Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The place was very clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great! They allowed us to do a late checkout which was great, so we were able to freshen up after our city tour, and before our evening flight back to Manila.
- Karina Gay M. (10/5): Iloilo hospitality at its best! - Loved it!
- Perla (8/5): - Clean and spacious room for 2-pax, strong wifi, accmmodating staff, tasty and generous enough serving of buffet breakfast.
- Nigel (10/5): Very welcoming & friendly stay - Staying at Aurora really felt like a home from home. The family made us feel very welcome and treated us as part of their family. The hotel itself was clean and in good condition. We were introduced to local food as our breakfast but they also offered us other food that we might be more comfortable with instead. Aurora was one of the most memorable places to stay on our recent holiday. Thanks for being so welcoming.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A clean modern room. - Clean and verry polite people.
They make sure everything is ok during our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, personal and cozy are the words I would use to describe this place. Staff was great and the puppies are a nice touch.
- Joe (8/5): Nice and cozy - Prior to our arrival in Iloilo, I notified Anelyn (owner) if we can check in early due to our early flight, and she told me we can because the room is ready. She is very kind and accomodating, and she even recommended taxi service/tour guide for us for the duration of our stay at a fair price. The breakfast that they serve is very good, the hotel staff are very attentive and helpful. The only problem that I noticed is the noise level of vehicles passing by at night, but it’s tolerable and the hotel is situated along main road, otherwise it’s a nice place to stay. Laundry facilities is downstairs in front so, no worries about your clothes. You have the choice of doing it yourself or full service.
- Paul (10/5): Perfect hosts during the Dinagyang Fiesta - Attending the Dinagyang Fiesta in Iloilo City, I needed a place that was safe, comfortable, and convenient. The Aurora 2013 Guest House fit the bill. Anelyn and her team were the perfect hosts, available throughout the visit with information on the fiesta and visiting sites in the area. Though the guest house is not downtown, taxis & other means of transportation are plentiful and inexpensive.
- Felian (10/5): RN from California - Is an excellent place to stay, owner/manager takes care of our needs specially diet request & made sure we are comfortable in our stay. Transportation is easy access, staff were very helpful, place is very clean & quiet. I would definitely recommend this place, airport is very close, & I would stay in here again.
- Rey (10/5): Excellent “Home-like” family run pension house! - Pension House was very clean with a personalized service even for breakfast. My Korean wife who is very picky with food enjoyed the breakfast they served her. The owner herself attended to us to give us some tips and information about Iloilo. We would definitely stay here again if we happen to go to Iloilo again!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Best guesthouse in Iloilo - I would highly recommend this guesthouse. It was very clean and comfortable and the owner is very welcoming and helpful. It was a very pleasant experience and didn't want to leave.
- Adam (10/5): Clean, Comfortable and Welcoming - A very comfortable, clean and modern Bed & Breakfast style accommodation.
The owner is very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is very tasty as well. We initially planned on staying for just 2 nights but ended up staying 5 total because of getting suggestions to see other attractions we were unaware of and overall we just liked it so much and got along so well with the staff.
I have stayed in multiple hotels in Iloilo and will be choosing to only stay in this one next time I visit again. There are a few places to eat in walking distance and is just a short jeepney ride or taxi from the mall and boardwalk area. There is also a laundromat below the building which is real convenient.
- Shawn (10/5): Homeliness - Awesome and friendly host. Great place and comfortable. Different from hotel and warmth of a home.
- Frank (10/5): - I highly Recommend this Guest House for the friendly Staff, great Breakfast , clean Rooms,
If I ever need to stay in that Area, I will return to this Guest House anytime, without any Question.
This Guest House should be Rated as a 5 Star unit. I have been in high Rated Hotels and are not as
good as this Establishment is
- Ester (10/5): - Stayed at Aurora guest House for Iloilo Dinagyang in January, and it was a very surprising pleasant stay. The host/owner was very helpful and accomodating. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, spacious. For 2 mornings we had very delicious breakfast and she even gave us extra food to bring to the dinagyang festival. We felt like very special guests. She even droveus to a pizza place one night which was, I would say a gourmet pizza. I would go back there if I have a chance to visit Iloilo again. Highly recommended. Hotel location is near the main city proper.
- Marvert (10/5): Great bed and breakfast! - The place is great. The room, where we stayed, is very clean and spacious. The owner is flexible to any of your request (including cooking molo soup) and she makes sure that you are provided with your needs.
