My family and I enjoy staying here because it is spacious, comfortable and my kids love the kitchenette. They like that we can cook or warm up food and eat on a kitchen table. They also have a good breakfast with hot and cold food items. We utilized the workout room as well. It is close to restaurants, shopping and walking trails. We would definitely stay here again.
• 534kristyc (10/5): Great stay at Cityplace - This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in this area! We were here for my daughter's softball tournament. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were very big, clean and comfortable! The room was well stocked with everything upu need to feel like you are at home. Even though the hotel was full we did not hear anything at all! I can't wait until we play in this area again so we can come back!

I didn’t even feel safe to spend the night in the hotel I payed for .I would steer clear from this Marriott if I could I would leave 0 stars Jorge needs to be retrained or let go bc what happened to me and my family yesterday was very scary I had to pay for another Uber to go to another Marriott so don’t waste your time and money here like I did

I spoke first with Mya and she was very professional, very responsive, and went out of her way to ensure that our stay was amazing! I also spoke and/or was helped by Misha (mgr), Ahmad, and Tashia, all who were very helpful and pleasant. Olivia who took care of our breakfast was amazing as well! She took great care of preparing the breakfast items and taking care of the breakfast buffet and breakfast sitting area. We loved the egg muffins and toppings for the oatmeal, especially! All of the staff seemed to really enjoying their job and represented the Marriott brand well! Housekeeping did a great job as well and was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very nice and lovely. Everything was clean, fresh and very modern. The room was well taken care of and made our stay feel very nice. The decor was lovely. There was some dust on the tv stand shelf in the living room, and a noticeable spot in the carpet in the living room, but, overall, the room was very clean and nice. The gym was small but clean and the equipment worked well. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within 6-7 minute drive. Oh, we really enjoyed sitting outside around the firepit and overlooking the pool area. The entire property is nice and lined with trees. The Courtyard is right next door. We would definitely return for another visit! fyi, 5 star if it was a full service hotel!

• SAM75078 (10/5): A favorite! - Whenever I visit North Houston for doctors’ visits, this hotel is where I choose to stay.....easy and ample parking spaces, friendly and helpful staff, great “little apartment” rooms and excellent walking areas right out of the front door 🙏💕
• 95gordonh (6/5): Below average - This hotel is very average. Furniture is particle board cheap, pillows are flat, property looks aged with wall cracks and dirty grout. Instead of installing two TV’s they put one that turns from one direction to another.
• daffodil2789 (4/5): Car was robbed - Our stay was actually pretty good, it was clean and breakfast is great. Not until we checked out in the morning, when we turn on our vehicle the engine is emitting very loud noise. We realized that our catalytic converter was stolen sometime that night and a Bentley sports car window was broken into. Later we knew that there were no cameras available outside only inside the building. My question is why?! This is a nice hotel with no cameras?! And we were parked at the front of the hotel. The police even went to the neighboring Courtyard Inn but no luck. Frustrated and a big let down from a Marriott brand.
• mplanglinais (8/5): fantastic room - Stayed here for three nights while visiting family in the area. The location is a wee bit out of the way, but there is a gas station, convenience store, and CVS (pharmacy) right beside the hotel, which is helpful. My room was like an apartment: fully stocked kitchen, great desk and seating area, king-size bed, really nice shower. While there were spots that showed age/wear, the place was clean and well kept in my opinion. One downside was being able to hear the neighboring room's television and/or radio; I know hotels are notorious for thin walls, but you would think they'd at least stagger occupancy, especially when they know people are probably living/working in these spaces (though I was visiting family, I was also working some of the time). I ended up using a combination of a travel white-noise machine and my headphones to block neighboring noise. I also chose not to participate in the breakfasts as they were crowded and no one wore masks. Overall, however, a largely pleasant stay, and I would probably consider returning if my travels took me back that way.
• MINDY (8/5): - The suite was a good size, clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that it was loud at night and we were unable to sleep. I don’t know if it was from the A/C running or from loud music. The staff was gr at and the free breakfast was delicious.

The ONLY negative thing was the breakfast attendant. 8am there was no eggs,no whole milk or waffles. When I asked about replacement which I did with kindness was greeted with attitude and rolling eyes. 15 minutes before replacement. Gentlemen at table shared that he had a negative attitude as well without any knowledge of my experience.
• NP_OnTheGo3 (8/5): Comfortable - The entrance is not well marked and can be confused for an alternative entrance. Once inside, the first impression is quite nice - the lobby is updated and clean. I arrived late from the airport - the person who greeted me was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The room was modest and comfortable. It appears to be an older property that has been updated. If you look at the details, you see flaws and wear and tear but nothing obvious. The kitchen is spacious and well supplied. There is not a cooktop so plan for microwavable options. The living area had a sufficient workspace - plenty of room for my 2 laptops. The overall space is small yet perfect for a single traveler. The sofa is functional - not super comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows. The bath was exceptional with lots of space and an area for getting ready outside the main bathroom which was a nice feature. The walk-in shower was large and great water pressure. There isn't much in the area and includes larger company campuses. There is a CVS and convenience store in walking distance. Groceries and restaurants are a short drive. A car is necessary for access to entertainment and restaurants. This hotel is recommended for working travelers or people with busy schedules given the lack of things to do in a close radius. The free breakfast is limited and offers few options for those living a low carb lifestyle. The area is safe and quiet and staff were friendly and helpful.
• nara_ded (10/5): Excellent service and the rooms were great - We were there this weekend for a soccer tournament. Several teams were staying at the hotel. The staff were very nice and accomodating. The rooms were set up perfectly. There is a kitchen with a full size refridgerator as well as a microwave. The room definitely met our needs. There was a large grill outside as well as a fire pit. We were able to do a team dinner by grilling and then the team made s'mores. the setup outside really helped bring the team and parents together. The compimentary breakfast was just okay. The eggs were powdered eggs and not good at all. There was no do it yourself waffle machine which most hotels that have free breakfast usually has. Considering how many people stayed at the hotel at once, I am quite impressed with how well the staff did and how nice the hotel was overall.

I was disappointed with the noise level from the room above, The floor boards allowed sounds to travel easily below. A tenant upstairs seem to be training his dog and was running at all hours making incessant noise. A complaint was made to front desk
• petukamat (2/5): Bad experience this time - Have stayed in Residence Inn very often, but this time the service was very bad.. I didn’t have pillows in the room even after telling them twice on day 1, I had to sleep with the couch cushions. On day 2, I told the front desk around 9am, then again at 6pm and then had to again go down to remind them at 10pm….that’s when I go it!!
• joemtz54 (4/5): Poor experience - Had a reservation and went to check in at 5pm. They told me a room was not available and had to wait till 8:45pm to get a room. The front desk was nice I understand it’s not her fault but no management came out to talk. Nothing was said other than sorry
• lilbrnsgr (10/5): Great stay - I have always liked to stay at Marriott Residence Inn when I travel for more than a couple of days. This particular location was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for business travel, personal extended stays, and even a family trip. The best part is there is a mini kitchen with full sized refrigerator, cook top, microwave, cups, plates, and utensils.
• kbjftw (8/5): Early spring getaway - Stay there for a getaway with my wife for a couple of days . Front desk help excellent. Housekeeping and personnel excellent. My room was good except for the dishwasher was very much out of place. Breakfast food could have been a little better. Overall very good I'll be back. I come to Houston quite often.
• atlgal77 (10/5): Modern, Quiet, and Spacious - Very nice and modern hotel. I am picky about kitchens outside of my home, but my kitchen was modern and clean. I felt comfortable cooking and eating. My stay was very quiet and comfortable. And as always, the Netflix option is a dream watching TV. Great stay on a business trip. Thanks Marriott! Always my favorite brand to stay at here and outside the US.

• Harriet (10/5): Best little hotel in Texas - My husband and I have stayed at at least 40 different hotels over the last year and a half and by far this was the best experience to date. The staff could not have been more pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. The poultry offerings are free breakfast from most hotels definitely did not apply here. Although the fair was standard everything was delicious and fresh every day. Serious shout out to whoever the manager is your staff are impeccably trained I managed to make each and every person feel welcome
• Tamara (10/5): - It was kind of nestled back in the pine trees so it felt like almost a mountain oasis. It was very pretty & i didnt feel like i was in the Houston area

• Jennifer (10/5): - The staff was friendly. Property was well maintained and located in a area convenient to shopping and restaurants. It was nice and quiet and I felt safe.
• Martin (10/5): Great place to lay your head - Stayed overnight before moving into our new home and could not have been more pleased. Our closing took longer than expected and staff allowed us to check out later than normal. Rooms are comfy, clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying for an extended period or just passing through. We most definitely will.

• William (10/5): - Well, it isn't exactly in the heart of the city, but it was EXTREMELY close to the client I was visiting so it worked great for me. Nice staff, clean rooms, quiet rooms. There was a dog next door the whole time I was there and I could only hear it in the hallway. In my room, nothing. There was a wild rainstorm outside and I didn't hear it. So, it wasn't necessarily a happening hotspot, but it was exactly what I needed and wanted.
