- Yong (4/5): Okay choice if you just want a place to rest at night. Location is good too. - Location was great. Price was alright for the quality of the room paid for. Suitable if you just want a place to rest at night. Sound proofing was really bad. Constantly hearing housekeeper talking outside the room during day time. Had some funky smell when I first enter the floor. Plastic anti-slip mat in the toilet was very dirty looking.
- Jun (9/5): You pay what you get - you pay for everything you need. check-in process is smooth, the room came with things that all you need. location wise, there're few restaurants nearby and across the road is Icon City which come with more shops. Just the price is standard for normal 2 star hotel, locker is not working also.

The staffs are always pulling a long face, never greet guests with suitable regards. I thought it's a room with window as it doesn't state clearly in the confirmation notice that it's a room without window. .

- Vekneswari (2/5): Please don't come here if you need a peaceful and calm vacation! - Nothing Please don't come here with family, it's not suitable.. besides hotels is pubs and karaoke, they will disturb your sleep until mid morning.. which the sound is terrible!! And they have rent to some foreigns also they also will bang the door in midnight's.. If you need a peaceful stay calm vacation please don't ever come here.. and the room is too too small! Not as in picture.. so much different.. will never ever come here.

- N (2/5): Very poor - The counter staff who went to check the room cheated, when it was time to check out, he checked the room and changed the towels, saying he took them from the room I stayed in and said they were dirty. have to pay an additional RM31.80. have to be careful while staying at this Rate E-Red Hotel Bayu Mutiara, Bukit Mertajam, Penang. **Be careful, they are very clever and easy to deceive customers I stay 2days , complain so many time that room have many mosquitoes, can't sleep and hot water does not work well at toilet, there is no take any action.
