- Andrew (10/5): - Really good staff to guest ratio. Place is really nicely decorated throughout and totally befitting of the description luxury boutique. My room/suite was superbly kitted out and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast at The Charm Hotel really was outstanding too. Only downside was parking but the permit option in Zone Ceorked out well for me.

- Vicky (8/5): - The room I stayed in was pleasant but not as modern as the pictures suggest. The room had everything including a sea view and I would describe the place as a lovely B&B. There was no staff between 9pm and 8am but there was an emergency number to call. I had a room at the top of the house with a great view of the sea. No lift nor accessible friendly but wasn’t an issue for me. The floors were creaky so not sure if it was noisy for the people below. There were instructions on how to use the electric blanket but no extra bedding. It was September so not cold but no temperature control and draughty windows. Overall nice and well run but felt dated.

- liz (8/5): Highly recommend the Sea Spray Hotel - I found the hotel very nice. The staff were lovely. We were in the opulence suite which was on the top floor which looked out to sea. The room was very clean. The only down side was the shower. The glass was stuck on closure as it did not fit properly on its runner! Also, it was dark going up the last flight of stairs to the room as I think the light was broke. You had to turn the corner before the light came on. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had. Definitely 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend the Sea Spray Hotel.

- Keiran (4/5): This is not a luxury hotel - We were initially put in a room in the basement and the bed was very narrow I registered a complaint and Marta the hotel manager sorted it by moving us to a better room as well as giving us a complimentary hour’s use of their hot tub. But one of their receptionists could do with extra training on how to deal with customers

Only thing i need to mention, you do have to go up a few set of stairs, which was not a problem, but someone may find that useful to know.

- Carl (10/5): Little gem of a hotel - We were blown away with the location, cleanliness, appearance, quality, comfort and friendly helpfulness of staff, at this amazing luxury boutique hotel and its sister hotel (The Charm), where we enjoyed an amazing breakfast experience in The Charm hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, quality ingredients, cooked to order, and served with a smile with plenty of staff members and no long wait, nor running out of continental items, including coffee, tea, juices, cereals, bread for toasting, fruit, yoghurts and pastries, wow, no expense spared. Another wow was the bed’s mattress, which was very comfortable, and my wife and I enjoyed a great night’s sleep.

- Paul (10/5): A great little hotel! - Great hotel. With lovely staff and the most amazing breakfast. In fact I think it was the best buffet breakfast we've ever had. Daniela the manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to book there again!
- Karen (10/5): - What a lovely stay. We only spent a night here, but had a great view of the pier, it was in a quiet part but not far from everything. The room was very warm (without the heating being), but had a fan in the cupboard which we used. It smelt really nice in there too, with the plug in, which was a nice touch. There were some parts of the bathroom that could’ve been a bit cleaner, like soap scum left on the basin, but it wasn’t dirty by any means! Staff were really friendly and helpful. I ordered the rose petals on the bed as it was our anniversary. Due to being an Expedia VIP we had a free bottle of Prosecco, which was lovely! We’d definitely come back and stay here again.

The staff in both were very courteous and very helpful. Nothing was too much for them. You could see them interact with everybody the same. We would certainly recommend the hotel to anybody, and are already thinking about returning next year.

The bedside tables were badly stained,the fridge door was cracked inside,it was also a surprise to find the fridge in the wardrobe so you have warm clothes! Also could do with more storage for your clothes.On a positive note the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast that you gave in the sister hotel The Charm! two doors away was excellent, the staff are all excellent too,nothing to much trouble!
- Victoria (6/5): The only benefit is location - The view was to the back of other buildings rear parts. Each time someone was flushing the toilet I can feel the smell in my room. It was noisy, hearing people upstairs or in the corridor. There is no air conditioner, so with the open window I heard the night noise. So it wasn't easy to sleep. The night was not hot, so in the room it was bearable temperature. The hotel is tired. The bed was not comfortable. I needed to sleep in the middle of the bed not to feel that I will fall from the mattress if I move to the left or right.

- Megan (10/5): Highly recommended - Sea Spray is an absolute gem. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We arrived early on the day we checked in, we were able to store our luggage while the room was prepared. We were given a map of the local area and shown all the places of interest. The room was snug and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Beds were comfortable Breakfast was great, with a variety of hot and cold foods as well as nice coffee. This boutique hotel is in a great location. There is a bus stop right at the bottom of the hill that you can catch to the train station. There are a variety of restaurants a short walk up the hill. The pier and seaside is an easy walk as well. The price is very affordable for such a beautiful place. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

- Daniel (4/5): Wouldn't really recommend - It was fine. It was freezing as I first got into my room, as the heating hadn't been turned on yet. Parking was a nightmare, as the receptionist gave me a voucher after he asked me on the phone to illegally park on the curb outside to explain in detail the parking which didn't need much explaining, then proceeded to give me a voucher, while my car was getting horned out on the street, (which he never stated cost £15 before I used and which was more expensive and less convienint than street parking anyway), so I went away to park in a hurry. For the place itself, it was clean and nice enough, a bit dated, no smart TV with netflix, Amazon prime etc., which is a bit of a necessity these days. Honestly it's one of the worser experiences I've had a with a hotel, especially after a long day of driving and working on my feet. The hotel itself was relatively pleasant but cold, likely due to the Victorian house that it's in.
