Guest Reviews
- Supakchaya (10/5): Lovely place with super friendly staff - Great service, comfort bed, high speed wifi with the best lobby, really reasonable price. There is one of the best place for enjoy with family & friends coz they prepare out door lobby for picnic.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - You get what you pay for.. very basic. Isn't clean and the rooms have massive gaps between the doors, so anything can get in. Also doesn't feel secure.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location was very nice. A little out of town, but easily walkable or have a scooter to get around. Staff wet very gently and always asked us how we were doing etc. The rooms were a little shabby, with concrete walls, floors, and ceiling. A little more decor or lighting would have made it feel a little less dreary.
- Robert (10/5): Thanks for the great stay! -Robert - Baan Katisod was great! Very friendly and helpful staff, cool owner, affordable. Pai is a great place to visit!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not what we expected but staff were great - Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our initial room as it wasn’t overly clean, there were huge holes in the mosquito net and it looked quite different to the pictures. However, after speaking to staff about this we were moved to a different room. This was much nicer, cleaner and had an intact mosquito net. I enjoyed this hotel but think that the older rooms need to be brought up to standard- especially in terms of cleanliness.
- Jai (10/5): - The room was perfect, and the staff was very welcoming. We last minute booked the room when we got to Pai and they were nice enough to have it cleaned and ready for us! Plus! The villa is a 5 min walk from Earth Tone Vegetarian Restaurant and Health Store!!!
- Hillary (8/5): Nice affordable place - Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. This hotel is really pretty and the perfect location in Pai, close to everything and accessible to all major sights by motorbike. Rooms are comfy and great value for money.
- jane (8/5): - It was as good as it gets, didn’t need the air con as it was cold into the night. The distance away from the market was good, just 20 mins nice walk. Nice tuck away.
- Sam (8/5): Great budget room, but bed not the comfiest - Very friendly staff and lovely outside area with loads of hammocks free for guests to use. The bedroom was very basic but clean and a mosquito net was provided. Only downside was the "mattress" felt more like sleeping on a rock. It's about a 20 minute walk to town, but I'd rather stay out of town for the peace and quiet. Overall a good experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Our place in Pai.. - Great place, great vibes, great service. Will come stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice quiet place to chill - This place is tucked away from Pai, but still close to town and major attractions like the white Buddha, hot springs, and sunset bar. The reception is so nice and there are cats and hammocks everywhere. Hot water works and the bed is comfortable. There is a mosquito net over our bed but we never need to use it. We had originally booked this place for 3 nights and extended it for much longer. :)
- Buckley (10/5): Fun, friendly spot in Pai - We spent a week in Pai, Baan Katisod was an amazing place to stay, cook out, build fires, relax and meet new people!
- Verified traveler (6/5):
- Prasan (8/5): Couldn't Go Wrong - LOVE IT! So chillax. Far enough from the drunken crowd but close enough for comforts. So simple and comfy. Not much to offer, so not much to go wrong. Got a new friend right away. Only thing I want to suggest is more lights in the room. It's very hard to read. But I'll book a monthly rental here right away if they let me.
Baan Katisod on mahtava paikka ottaa vaan rennosti.
- Marina (8/5): Lovely little hideaway - Had a very pleasant and relaxing time; the hotel is nestled amongst the beautiful greenery of Pai. A short walk from town(15-20min) and close to some great cafes as well. The staff were absolutely fantastic; very genuine and hospitable as well as helpful when I had any questions. Definitely recommend staying here :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): chilled out resort - Baan katisod is a super chilled resort which caters for all, they have cheap awesome food they make and isn't too far from town but recommend a moped/ motorbike to get round. Overal pai is a awesome place to go by far the most hippie place I seen !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We were welcomed warmly when we arrived. The owner lent us umbrellas and when we left drove us into the town. Very friendly guest house operator.
