• marie (7/5): - Hotel bien placé, près des rues très animées du centre, mais situé dans une rue assez calme. Bon rapport qualité /prix Chambre plutôt petite, au 3ème étage sans ascenseur. Difficultés à se comprendre en anglais avec le personnel, mais ils étaient plutôt agréables. Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une nuit

Only 1 chair is ok.we had to put the other ones in the hallway to be able to move around the room easily.

• Tatiana (7/5): Hôtel bien situé, propre et correct, mais pas de charme particulier. - Bien situé, le personnel est gentil, c’est propre. Petit déjeuner copieux sans être extraordinaire. Ambiance un peu bizarre dans cet hôtel où le lobby sert de salle de vie à toute la famille - tous (mère, ados, enfants) scotchés sur leurs téléphone du matin au soir. Équipements dans la chambre un peu défectueux, mais rien de grave.

• Anne (8/5): Good budget choice in central Vientiane - Excellent location within walking distance of the night food market, shops, bars and central Vientiane. Really friendly, family run guesthouse. Rooms are small but well furnished with fridge, a/c, fan and comfortable beds. The breakfast choices vary daily but include eggs, bacon, toast rice and noodles.

• ANDREA (8/5): - J’ai passé un séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel géré par une famille, situé en plein cœur de Vientiane. L’emplacement est excellent pour les courts et longs séjours, proche de tout et très pratique pour découvrir la ville. L’hôtel est relativement propre et bien équipé pour les besoins du quotidien.
• Julien (9/5): Calm and central - Had a very pleasant stay at SP Hotel Vientiane. The room was cosy and the atmosphere calm. The location is very convenient, right in the city center. Asian breakfast was simple but good. The owner is very nice and helpful, and she designed the hotel herself with a lovely mix of Lao style and a touch of vintage. Bus and taxi rides can be booked directly at the reception. Definitely worth a stay.

Chambre avec un réfrigérateur et un grand lit confortable, climatisation fonctionnelle, savon à disposition dans la salle de bain... Excellent petit-déjeuner, avec la possibilité de déjeuner et dîner sur place. Le night market et un Seven Eleven se trouvent à proximité. Chambre un peu petite mais fonctionnelle. Une seule prise électrique disponible près du lit. Les rideaux sont assez fins et laissent passer la lumière, mais c’est courant au Laos.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Well-located and clean - We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean with great AC. The location was great - walking distance to major attractions. The buffet breakfast was served 7-10 and had many options.
• Pecker3393 (8/5): Very good hosting family business, will make effort to make sure your stay is comfortable. - AThe buffet breakfast is a highlight. Western and eastern choice, it’s very fresh, lots of ingredients, healthy and not so healthy all catered for. Don't get too hungover and miss this opportunity. Location v convenient, can walk to heaps of shops, restaurants, bars, massages, the Mekong. There is road work in the streets nearby you need to be wary of this they sometimes block walkways etc (March 2025). the tv reception was not great for all channels. Also for some reason they never answered a call to reception, but staff otherwise v helpful.
• Harry (10/5): Ideal for someone on a low budget - I have stayed here around 12 times. It is a fantastic location within a short walking distance to everything you need. The staff and owner are really friendly and helpful. It may only be a 2 star only because it needs updating. The staff are 5 star. Breakfast has a good selection for most tastes. The hotel is committed to good service and always try to help you. 3m to the right is a well stocked minmart where you can buy simcards and top up cards. Its really cheap. Next door is a brilliant coffee shop which specialise in hot and cold drinks cakes etc. On the corner is a vietnamese style resturant with fresh fruit drunks. Walking 400metre towards the river there is a huge night foid market with over 100 stalls of different foods. You can try different food sit down with what you buy and order a beer. Opposite the market is a pharmacy and chicken shop similar to kfc. Walk just 30. And you come to a brilliant icecream shop. There are around 30 massage shops in tge same area. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the river . For a first timer you cant go wrong

• Lisa (6/5): - Die Unterkunft ist super nahe vom Zentrum und man kann alles zu Fuss erreichen. Flughafen nur 12 Autominuten entfernt. Frühstück hat viel Audwshl und war lecker. Personal kann praktisch kein Englisch auch mit Tranlatse sehr schwierig. Ist daher sehr Mühsam an Informationen zu kommen. Im Allg. ist das ganze Hotel der Eingangsbereich (ist sowhol das Wohnzimmer von ihnen) komplett überstellt. Das gabze Hotel hat viele Mitarbeiter aber alle stehengefühlt nur herum.

The lobby of the hotel was very cluttered and felt more like a home stay with staff sleeping in sofas. The lobby smelt of mice. With the smell of mice we lacked confidence in the included breakfast so we just ate cereal.

• Helen (4/5): A nightmare - The departure I had bedbugs from the bunk beds. I did not feel comfortable at all and the people there smelled like wild animals. Their body odour was so bad, I even thought about sleeping with a mask on. The guests do not seem to value personal hygiene at all. Keep that in mind if you book it.
