Overall, while there are some drawbacks, the hotel's location and amenities make it a solid choice for concert-goers.

Holly (9/5): Great little night away - Easy access for resorts world. Great little base. Fridge was a nice touch. And loved the rain shower!! Offers coffee machine, and a kettle.. but only 2 English teabags (not enough for 2 people for night and morning) yet there was 6 pods of coffee! And only 4 milk pots. Shame the pillows were a bit hard for me but partner was fine with them!

Sharon Budd (8/5): - Excellent stay, staff were great, lovely room a d facilities, sky bar was excellent 👌 NEC didn't inform the hotel that the lift and escalator were broken, so walked across to the NEC walkway to the hotel but then had to walk back to the Moxy hotel and pay £14 for a cab. There were staff in the NEC but said they weren't allowed to lift our cases or offer to get any help for 60 and 80 year old ladies !

Hannah (10/5): Excellent location for concerts - To our delight, we were upgraded to a lovely suite when we checked in. The hotel has lovely facilities there with very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious with great sky-high view. I was going to a concert on my own for the first time and I felt very safe walking back as a 19-year old girl, as the hotel was adjacent to the venue. It was very convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants! Overall, really good value for money and would love to stay there again if we come back to Birmingham in the future.

Anon (10/5): - I don’t even know where to start—my stay at the Genting Hotel Birmingham was genuinely stupendous. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless and elevated. The staff were absolutely lovely—welcoming, attentive, and just the right balance of professional and warm. The room itself? Immaculate. The beds were fresh, clean, and ridiculously comfortable—one of those sleeps where you wake up feeling brand new. And the view… honestly, just stunning. It added such a calm, almost luxurious feel to the whole experience. Getting access to the Santai Spa was the cherry on top. Pure relaxation. Exactly what you want when you’re trying to switch off and enjoy yourself properly. What made it even more special—it was my birthday. And I couldn’t have picked a better place to spend it. Everything about the stay felt thoughtful, smooth, and genuinely enjoyable. Exquisite experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back.
Ian (8/5): Good but costly for standard room - My stay was good, breakfast was a wide selection, hot and cold dishes and cooked to a good standard. Staff were kind, pleasant and very professional. Parking was easy. For what I paid for the room, I felt extremely ripped off, it was just like a superior room in a Premier in that would be a third of the cost of the room I paid for. I did receive cold food though when I ordered room service which was not good. Room rate was terrible though, no better than a premier inn room.

George (10/5): One of the uk’s best hotel - Delux double room is a semi inclusive park age inc parking which is super safe and convenient. As well as a spacious room with a fridge load of extras. Thoughtfully recommended. Still unable to get into spa, would be a good idea to prioritise this to hotel guests. We have tried 3 times but never came up on the waitlist.
