Mal genio y mal carácter La actitud del gerente al llegar al hotel a las 11am, antes de la hora de chequeo que era a las 3pm. Pudo comportarse mejor y dar una buena atención. Es un lugar que sin vehículo no puedes ir. El barrio no es bueno, sería que mejoren de alguna forma.

• Melinda (10/5): - Location was great for accessing the ferry. We walked there late at at night and again early in the morning. The island is so fun that we didn't spend any downtime at the hotel. Just slept there. It's literally right on the ocean so the wave sounds were so beautiful to sleep to. AC worked great and there was plenty of hot water for post-beach showers. The owner met us on arrival to show us around which was nice. I also love that they have coded door entry. No annoying keys or key cards! I was so thankful they had chairs and coolers available. We used them everyday for our adventuring. Honestly it was great. It's definitely a boutique hotel...cozy and small without resort amenities but it's perfect for a smaller island. I want to come back!

• Kabilan (9/5): - The hotel is located very close to the ferry terminal. Most of the rooms have a beautiful beach view from the balcony. The property was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there.
• Lisa (10/5): We loved it here! - This is a lovely hotel. We had two rooms right next to each other. Due to their location, we had an almost private pool right at our "back porch". We loved the outdoor seating area outside the room that faced the ocean--we spent a lot of time there. The owners/staff were super accommodating. They also had some limited beach supplies there for use--such as small coolers (and ice) which was super helpful! Within walking distance of the ferry if needed. We had a car and there was parking. I'm not sure we disliked anything! Just know that this is a small hotel so if you are running late--you need to let the owners know! We missed our first ferry to Vieques due to an accident and had to arrive on a later ferry. They were totally fine with it, but appreciated the heads up.

• MELISSA (10/5): Ocean breezes, sunsets, views and friendly staff - Our suite was gorgeous. The views from the villa were spectacular. Our unit with kitchen and high ceilings was spacious and very relaxing. Really appreciated the landscaping - there’s a tropical tree or plant placed everywhere in line of sight. Sunsets at the pool are beautiful. Not that we can think of.

Aucun personnel disponible pour aider en cas de besoin. Pas de restaurant sur place, uniquement un point d’accueil pour le check-in. Pour un tarif dépassant 200 $ la nuit, c’est très décevant.

Me pareció bien intertar el hotel porque conozco la ubicación. El lugar queda cerca de todo, sin embargo necesitas un auto o carrito de golf. Para moverse mejor, no tiene restaurante pero esta cercar de todo. El lugar es muy amplió, limpió. La vista es hermosa.Tiene 2 picinas para adultos y niños que sepan nadar. Su encargado fue muy amable, al brindarnos un servicio extra, que sin duda alguna, nos recibimos un gran alivió el día que llegamos al mismo 🙏. La Sra Dina, con su amablilidad y simpatía nos alegró el día. Muy servicial por cierto 🙏. Sin duda alguna recomendado desdé su encargado,y parte del personal. Al Bravo Beach Hotel, volveré sin lugar a duda y lo recomendaré sin ningún miedo al fallar. Noemí Nada que comentar. Todo estaba bien. Las intrucciones fueron dadas por escrito. En cuanto a necesitar algo de servició en el cuarto por ejemplo.

• Nancy (10/5): I would go back in a heartbeat! - Our room had a gorgeous sea view and a balcony. It was airy and ample and outside there were many well kept plants and flowers. The beds were so comfortable and everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were comfortable and had a great A/C. But most outstanding was Dina the front desk person. She felt like a good neighbor, she was personable, honest, and so helpful! My son left his wallet and we were called letting us know. He had left it there. Everything was intact in his wallet. We had a very memorable time there and would definitely go back. There were a few corks, the room had some doors that either wouldn’t close or would make a sound closing. The microwave hangs from cables and it moves a little when you open it.
• Lafleur (5/5): Because we made one bed work out experience was fine. A lot of things could - Clean room, good view. Having beach chairs and coolers available was nice. We booked for two adults and one child (14). Upon arrival we were told all the rooms had one bed and there were no extra beds or cots available at all on the property. The staff member that met us blamed it on an issue with booking.com that allowed it to happen. He moved us to a king room instead of a queen room and we made it work. But it seems like if it’s a known issue why was it allowed to happen? He suggested that I must have selected two adults and an infant when I booked which is completely false. We made it work but i obviously would not have booked had I known there was only one bed. Also the place has beach in the name, and offers beach chairs and coolers which is nice, but doesn’t mention anywhere that the beach the hotel is on is totally impossible to sit at due to seaweed and impossible to swim in due to coral reef. Again, we made it work and found some beautiful beaches but knowing up front would have been better. We arrived on the ferry and walked the short distance to the hotel, only to find the office closed at 7:00, it was 7:10. This doesn’t make much sense since there’s the 6:30-7 ferry we arrived on as well as one that arrives at 8pm. We called the number on the sign at the office, spoke to Brian, and he pulled up in about 5 minutes. He smelled strongly of alcohol and was extremely negative about the above described bed situation, the beach situation, as well as on island transportation and pretty much everything else. I can’t imagine what would have happened if we arrived at 8, another hour of drinking time for Brian. He said the taxis aren’t trustworthy, the golf carts are a bad idea, and to rent a car. We had great experience with the taxis and ended up renting a golf cart which was by far better than having a car. Because he switched us to the king room, the ac was not on yet and it was 95 degrees in the room per the thermostat. It took about a full day to get the temp down below 80.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. We were assisted by Mr. Luis, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. It’s an excellent place to stay, and we 100% recommend it!

It was really easy to walk into town for breakfast and dinner. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!
• Richard (10/5): - This was easy walking distance from the ferry, restaurants, and the shopping strip near the ferry terminal. On the second floor ocean front rooms, you get a fantastic view, breeze, and with your private patio door open, you also get the sound of the surf. Carl has coolers, beach chairs, snorkel stuff, and beach towels that you can take to the beach. Carl was also understanding that we missed our checkin because the ferry was full and we were delayed many hours getting to the island.
• Erin (10/5): Quiet oceanfront, perfect. - We loved everything about this property! It was clean and had such a sweet island vibe. The grounds are lush and well taken care of. We loved being able to use both pools, both of which were very clean. Even though the hotel was full, we rarely saw very many people and felt like we had the place to ourselves. The beach right outside was actually walkable and we had a great time spending the mornings and evenings looking for shells And enjoying the sunset from the beach. There was enough sand that if you wanted to sit out there you could and it was pretty clean. Still pretty rustic and you couldn't really get into the water, but it was gorgeous nonetheless. The hotel is in such a great location that you will never hear parties or loud groups. It's very quiet and nestled on a part of the island that is near neighbor's, but doesn't feel like it. We had plenty of food options nearby, and it was easy to walk to from the ferry. The view and sound of the water from your bed is just stunning to wake up to. We absolutely loved it and plan to go back!

• dantecat (10/5): Excellent stay at beautiful clean on the beach hotel - Bravo Beach Hotel We stayed at Bravo beach hotel for 3 nights. It is in walking distance of the town center, near to a few restaurants and grocery shops. Maybe at most 1,500 feet from the ferry. The hotel was much better than we expected. The grounds are all white, clean and nicely landscaped, lots of plants, trees, flowers. Two pools, one right on the ocean, the other in an inner garden with a bar-style high table under a canopy area. We took an upper floor apartment for 3 nights, which was perfect. The bay windows and the balcony door were sound-proof which is key to help reduce the ocean surf, as well as a few wild roosters singing early in the morning. There is a large bedroom, some chairs, a small but sufficient bathroom with family-size shower stall, and a good sized balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean. The room was very clean, shower worked well with a good amount of hot water and sanitary. A medium-size refrigerator, and drip coffee maker. The owners and managers were very helpful, assisted with our plans. Getting around Vieques was a bit challenging as we gave up our golf cart on the first day due to its tipping over very easily. We looked for a taxi at the ferry and met Leon who got use around the island while we were there. He was highly reliable, and we highly recommend him as driver, tour guide, etc. For restaurants we went to El Norte, had to wait 30 minutes but was worth it.. Had their seafood paella. Went to El Mar Azul for lunch which was fine; but for dinner we found it too loud, and don’t care for the techno music. We visited a few beaches, the nearby Sea Glass was good for a short swim; other beaches we explored were beautiful and good for swimming but not snorkeling (Caracas, Esperanza). We noticed sea turtle nests in many places that are marked (rocks, tape); please avoid stepping on them. Overall Bravo Beach Hotel was an excellent place to stay and we would stay there again on our next visit.

It is well taken care of with two beautiful pools! It is conveniently located just a 5 minute walk from the ferry and an easy 10 minute walk into town, for restaurants and shopping. • Verified traveler (10/5): - The rooms were very clean, newly remodeled and comfortable. The pool was clean with gorgeous views. The landscaping is very pretty and kept up.
• Cornelia (3/5): Great view, but that's it. 1* of 5 - The location right on the ocean is great! But you also need to know that you can't swim here; it's rocky and there's almost no beach. All the good beaches are on the south and west side of the island and you can't get to them unless you have a car. There's a coffee maker and a fridge in the room. It's an ok place for a night or two. The service is non-existent. You are welcomed to a sheet of paper on the bed, which says: we won't make up your room during your stay unless you ask us to. We will charge you $50 per hour on checkout day if you stay past 11am. It doesn't feel clean, and since it's right on the ocean and it's the Caribbean, there's incredible moisture in the room. We stayed in a queen ocean view downstairs; the view is wonderful, but unless you keep the curtains closed, other guests can see into your room. The mattress was old and worn out. The ferry is 7 min walking distance up and down a hill. If you're young and have no luggage, it's no problem. But if you have suitcases, you will need transportation, which you are left to organize yourself (and they run on island time). No possibility to cook or grill unless you stay in a suite or in adjoining Casa Roja. We stayed for a week, which was definitely too long, especially since we hadn't pre-reserved a car and couldn't get one due to the holidays. Taxis won't bring you to the interesting beaches on the south side of the island, like playa Caracas, because it's only dirt roads in terrible condition. $1645 incl tax for one week did not feel like a good value. The sheet of paper also tells you that you pay for the time you reserved. If you leave earlier, tough luck. I don't think we'll be returning.

• Baharak (10/5): Beautiful waterfront property! - Beautiful property - very peaceful and clean. The location is convenient and close to the ferry station but it’s good to rent a car since most of the nice beaches are on the south side of the island. Our room had a beautiful ocean view, a nice patio with BBQ and a swimming pool conveniently located in the courtyard. The staff were friendly. Highly recommended.

We had the Honeymoon (Luna de Miel) Suite which is quite spacious and has terrific views. Love Vieques!!! The whole place could benefit from new paint, broken tile replacements, etc, just looks a bit unloved. Housekeeping is by request only, which was fine for us but others maybe not. I'm not really complaining about our stay because we're less fussy than some, just mentioning.

Just a little tlc woul - The room/suite we had was fantastic as it was right on the beach with views of the surf. We could easily go out and walk the beach. The property needs some TLC, updating. There are outdoor showers, assuming to rinse off from the beach that are rusted tight. The pathway to to beach from our room wasn’t cleaned well. There wasn’t always someone at the front desk during daytime hours.
• Brittany (10/5): A secret luxury hideaway - MUST STAY!!! - This place is incredible!!! The pictures don’t do it justice. We had a private back yard and private stretch of beach to ourselves - and even the infinity pool to ourselves directly on the beach. My whole family loved it - the hotel was like our private beach mansion. Even the two bedroom suite had super high ceilings looking out over the beach with beautiful sunsets. A must stay!!!

• Gloria (10/5): Best ocean view !!! - Place location is perfect just 6 minute walking distance. The place has an excelente view. I did love the fact that it has a 24 hours pool which not a lot of places offer. It didn’t have cable service due to recent storm.
• Elba (10/5): Beautiful poolside/beachside villa. - The pools were spectacular ❤️ There’s was nothing that we didn’t like! The views were breathtaking!

• Susanne (10/5): Every day I appreciated the Bravo Beach Hotel and Vieques and the more and would happily return! - Great experience! The well managed small low-rise private feeling Bravo Beach Hotel is tucked away in a neighborhood walking distance to the ferry. It is a charming, clean and has beautiful “moments” with many different varieties lovingly tended tropical plants. The slight wear of time and sea is not taking away from the wonderful overall experience. My room was facing the pool and the ocean. I had a private sitting area where I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the mornings, could relax during the daytime (where it felt like my own private pool as the other guests showed only towards the afternoon / evening), and enjoy seeing the sun go down at night. The room was a nice size, clean, with a king size bed, a coffee maker and a fridge. Upon arrival I had a tour of the hotel and received tips for the most beautiful beaches on the island, which turned out to be super helpful in my island explorations! The hotel was a great place to unwind, destress and enjoy life!I would happily return! People who stay at the hotel may play their music around the pool, but it was never very very loud. I enjoyed the music, and it always stopped before night time, so my sleep was never disturbed.

• Muhammed (10/5): Exceptional - The pictures don't do justice to how great this place is. Perfect location with a great view(although you can't swim at the beach). Our room had direct access to the infinity pool which was amazing. Everyone at the reception was very nice and helpful. They provide free coolers and beach chairs. Umbrella was like 15$ per day but worth it. Would definitely come here again.
• Arvid (10/5): Exceptional - Villa close to the ferry and right on the beach, lots of space. Extremely large bathroom. Very friendly receptionist. Two large swimming pools. Good kitchen facilities including an ice machine for cocktails. Shops are 15 min away on foot. Beds are large but the mattresses are a bit on the hard side. Still comfortable enough with extra pillows!
