Guest Reviews
- David (8/5): - All good at this motel and owner cooked a great lunch for us even though they weren’t open.
They let us leave our van there for 3 days while we rode the p tit train du nord
- Gaétan (6/5): - L’hôtel a vraiment besoin d’un grand rafraîchissement. Endroit sombre, étroit, serviettes jaunies, drap jaunie, matelas beaucoup trop mou, faible pression d’eau.
- Farah (6/5): - Overall, the room was clean but unfortunately there were ants in the bathroom around the sink, it should be taken care of!
- Yves (4/5): - Pool not fonctionnal
Shower dirty
- Heike (4/5): - We had to wait to check in because the staff was busy with dinner guests. The property needs to be updated and refreshed. The bed was not comfortable, and that should be a priority for a motel.
- Scott (6/5): - No access by snowmobile
- ANDREY (10/5): - All good, nice that it has a lot of space in the room, fridge and also there are microwaves in the corridor. All clean and comfortable.
- Md Monzurul (4/5): - Very old and poorly maintained.
Dirty, heater, tape water not working.
Water smell stinky.
Overall low quality for $140/night (with fees and tax $
- JOSEPH (10/5): - Dark, quiet, peaceful. No pool, very basic breakfast. They have a fully stocked bar. Just be sure to shop different travel sites for the best price. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, soI doubt they would ever be sold out. You'll need food, the nearest places are at the other end of Lake Nominique. 3 miles away.
- Barry (4/5): - Totally outdated and nothing nearby other than the highway
- Michelle (6/5): - Motel is 2km from the cycling path with no other facilities close by (no restaurants, no grocery store). If you are cycle to this hotel you should bring food with you or have a vehicle available to get food as they only serve breakfast.
Breakfast options were limited to toast, banana, PB&J, cereal, juice and coffee.
- Derek (10/5): - The motel was great economy-level lodging. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water, nice breakfast.
I would stay overnight there again.
- John (10/5): - Manager was very nice and very helpful. Quiet hotel. Great breakfast.
- Monika (4/5): - Washrooms too smalll
- James (6/5): - The proprietor was nice and accommodating and the property was clean, but very dated. The location is off a highway, not near anything else.
- Valérie (8/5): - Parfait pour les sorties vélo!
- Jason (8/5): - Quiet and nice staff
- bill (8/5): - Simple but surprisingly comfortable very helpful staff
- Rohit (10/5): - Close to highway
- Shelley (8/5): - The owners were friendly and attentive to our questions. Breakfast was nice to have before our bike ride.
- Zakria (10/5): - Everything was great especially the manager David was very helpful and supportive.
- Yuri (8/5): - Bedding was quite modest. Pillows could use update and upgrade. Bathrooms are tiny, but clean.
- Laurie (8/5): - Very clean and goof staff. The esthetic hasnt change since 1960 but it's perfect for a night or two
- Darwin (6/5): - Disappointing reception. Close to highway. Good size room.
- Katia (2/5): - All amenities removed due to “covid”. Pool, spa, and restaurant all closed. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. Coffee machine and cups were dusty. Shared usage of microwaves in the hallway in front of the rooms.
- Andre (10/5): - great stay
- Joseph (10/5): - The owner is friendly and helpful.
- Tara (4/5): - Advertised as having a pool and restaurant. Very old and worn out hotel. Town is 10k away and everything closes at 8pm.
- Tarek (8/5): - The Double room was bigger than I expected in the usual motels where I booked a room with 2 bed and I was surprised that there is a third small sigle bed. So, me and the family of 2 kids and my wife were comfortable to sleep withoud being squeezed together.
I don't know if this is applicable for all rooms but I found that it is something nice and generous to have and say thank you for it.
The staff are super kind and lovely.
The room was clean and the furniture, beds, blankets are clean and in good conditions.
I loved the place and whever posdible I will book it again.
- Erna (10/5): - Overall the hotel was clean,
A little delapidated here and there. Blankets on the bed were not clean.
- Ginette (8/5): - Property is acceptable for the price however, they offerring breakfast. That's make it difficult for clients.
- Angela (10/5): - This was a wonderful spot to stay- sure it’s dated as any motel is now but it is clean and comfy. It’s great for biking as only a short distance from le petit nord trail, and the room was large and tiled so we were allowed to bring in the bikes which was very convenient! The beds were very comfy and there was a lovely patio with chairs onto a quiet rural view. The reception is incredibly friendly and helpful.
- BYRAN (6/5): - Skidoo trail goes right though the parking lot
The place is run down very outdated
- Fanny (8/5): - Perfect roadside motel, clean spacious room.
- Julie Anne (2/5): - Eliminate your expectations and you will have an ok stay. Awesome place for a horror movie, bad place to plan a murder : No soundproofing. The place is in poor condition. They seem to have painted the rooms by students in 15 minutes. Pool is closed since God knows when and weeds took over. The staff is hard to communicate with, poor english, poor french... the main entrance door looks like a bunker door. It seems someone threw up on the bedspring.
- Tim (10/5): - Great little place. Nice and quiet. Perfect for a little get away.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Dated property - Rooms are a bit dated and the property is outside of the village of Nominingue. Rooms were clean and spacious
- Weihong (8/5): - Bathroom need to be renovated
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nice soundings.
- Martine (8/5): Simple/plain but decent - Very kind host. Room was simple but met our needs. Would rent again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - In the night it's impossible to find the place because of no light.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was what we expected, and great for being close enough to tremblant.
- Robert (6/5): Definitely not worth the money. - Hotel is outdated. Shower and bathroom was run down with cracked and dirty tiles. WiFi was basically non-existent. I was unable to get any work done as I kept getting disconnected from the network. Room was drafty and the curtains were very flimsy so it was very bright in the room at night. The room smelled musty. Continental breakfast consisted of an open plate of scrambled eggs, a few open boxes of community cereal and a couple pieces of fruit.
- Myles (10/5): - Very satisfied, the stay was very cozy !
No noise pollution, was nice to relax with no noises
- Lon (10/5): Great service- Going above and beyond - We had such a great experience. They were so accommodating and hospitable. The room was cozy, breakfast was delicious. Ate dinner there as well one night and really enjoyed the steak.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Approprie confortable for the price. Older establishment but has all that you need.
- Gator (8/5): - Room was quiet (did not use the AC), bed was comfortable but it was squeaky. Checkin and checkout were really quick.
- Ross (10/5): Nice Property - This hotel is an excellent value. It is really very clean. My room was large and had a nice table and chairs beside the fridge to sit and relax. Two queen sized beds in good condition. The property is set back from the road, and the rooms are focused toward the backside of the property. So it is has a nice country feel. There are large pine trees and bushes and deer grazing on the lawn. There is a small but nice pool that has a private feel as it is fenced in. The breakfast lounge is cool and breakfast was good. Juice and toast and even eggs and potatoes. It appears to be a family run business and everyone was friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Too far from our destination. - The hotel was fine, but it was too far away from Tremblant Ski Resort. It took about 40 minutes to get there. Nothing special and a little pricy for a low budget hotel.
- Darshan (8/5): Awesome - Nice hotel back yard and staff. Ofcourse break fast. Every thing enjoyed. Thanks for the hotel
- Joe (2/5): poor customer service - rooms are smell bad, not clean and poor customer service
