• Pearson Owens (8/5): A nice hotel that offers breakfast and a comfortable stay. - The English breakfast was good and the location is centrally located. It is easy to get to the hotel and you aren't far from the attractions. If they had streaming services because it was hard to figure out the tv. The restaurant hours should be longer.

• Eleanor (7/5): Basic hotel, great for a short stay - Basic rooms but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Food in the pool bar much better than expected. Breakfast wasn’t great, the hot food was cold. We didn’t use the pool but it looked rather neglected.

• Johan (6/5): - On arrival the Hotel did not have our bookings and had to re book us. The wifi for a hotel with a conference centre, can really upgrade their Wi-Fi. In my room 3xx I had poor reception and the staff were helpful in offering me the upgraded Wi-Fi deal because I had an meeting that night. Zero reception. Had to do an meeting wìth an cellphone held to my ear...

• Olga (9/5): It was good except for the first night when we did not get any food. - Breakfast was good same as the restaurant location Hotel could have made provision for some food for guests who were arriving on a late plane...we slept on hungry stomachs. Especially when the hotel was aware that most of these guests were to attend a conference at the lodge. A sandwich would have sufficed .

The hotel could have made provision for dinner as most guests booked were arriving at 2115hours for a conference booked at the hotel. Even a sandwich with a beverage could have surficed. The manager Cameron was very helpful with some business we needed done with our passports and can’t thank him enough for that because any business process can take awhile. ALL of the staff were kind and helpful and accommodating. Most of them work hard to do so. The breakfast was good and chef David will cook you an egg any way you like it. Eryricah was so kind as to ask me if my daughter who was sick in her room would like some brkfst taken to her room. She prepared it and I took it to her. How thoughtful!!! She did this several mornings. Also the pizza from the pizza bar was so good! We ended up staying here a week as our business kept extending and we were very happy with our stay. When we travel through Gaborone we will definitely stay here. Remember! If you are kind you will be treated kindly. :)

• Kara T (10/5): Stay Here - So far so good. Trying to get some business done here in Gaborone and that takes time and so we keep extending our stay and they have been very accommodating and helpful. There were a couple of glitches but each time it was taken care of immediately. The whole staff are kind, helpful and friendly. Also the breakfast is wonderful. From fruit to eggs cooked to order by chef at the griddle. BTW AirCon works great.

• Robert (6/5): Quiet and affordable option just outside central Gaborone - Huge bed! So comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good on-site restaurant options: the breakfast was excellent and the 'Pool' restaurant did a great pizza. Big pool open during the day, area felt safe. Room was spotlessly clean. Room was quiet, but it is the kind of hotel where the doors slam loudly so I was woken early during my stay a few times with early checkouts. The AC wasn't very strong so it was quite hot overnight. There is a big pool, but when I used it there was a lot of leaves floating on the surface and it didn't feel that relaxing to use.
• Peck-handson (10/5): Excellent - The hotel staff were amazing. A young gentleman called Nku was very helpful and the GM was kind and accommodating.
• Amias (10/5): - I have stayed at/visited several hotels in Gaborone, some of which might be classed as more "high end". The Travelodge compares with and often surpasses mostnof them. The rooms are large, comfortable and impeccably clean (as is the whole hotel). Dinning options are good but the real gem is the quality and friendliness of the staff throughout, from reception to housekeeping to dinning/bar staff. Clearly led by a friendly and dedicated GM. Highly recommended!

I asked but there was none. Every day, when you return, you room card does not work. The told me that the room access gets reset when they clean it. They were washing floors while everyone is checking out. This creates congestion and the slippery tiles are unsafe. The lodge tend to be noisy as the sound travels far with all the tiles They reset the WiFi password every day and give you the password on a card. With these numbers you cannot discriminate between 1, L or I also O and 0. So I had to try 10 times.
