Guest Reviews
- Trevor (7/5): - It's nice Every time I stay here. They put me on the first floor... Which is okay, but the view isn't good
- Jaide (8/5): -
- Annette (9/5): -

- Lillian (10/5): Short stay - Friendly staff. Inviting lobby and gathering area. Good amenities; barbeques, pool, and clam cleaning station. In town for wedding and had no time to enjoy any of them. No fault of the facility, but had to boil all drinking water because of a broken main. Still able to shower. They did provide gallon bottles of water for drinking.
- Huhh (10/5): - Nice location clean and quiet
Room was newly renovated
Kitchen ok needs better cookware
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timofey (8/5): - I really like this property. The only thing I didn’t like was that, when I booked the hotel it said the internet was free, but in fact you have to pay for it.
- Trevor (7/5): Good - Quiet place The sales lady was pushy and rude!! No means no!!!
- Raylene (2/5): - Very unhappy! They charge you $50 for WiFi and the WiFi doesn’t even work. Went to talk to the staff and they gave me the # for their internet providers customer service. I shouldn’t have to troubleshoot their poor internet while staying at their hotel AND paying extra for it! Not happy! Will not be staying at this hotel again!
- Stephanie (10/5): - It was exactly what was needed.
- Mary (10/5): Nice winter ocean get away. Had fun getting razor clams . - Condo type accommodation
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Julie with activities most awesome and fun we've ever seen, she gets a 5start. Staff was great and did all they could and they get a 5star. Location itself, for the cost, not happy that couldn't use cell phones without a code, and that a code would cost extra if needed, made it hard for family to get in touch with us. Even Motel 6 provides free wifi if needed for phones without entering codes or being a hassle. Also not happy lobby locked at 10pm, very inconvenient and didn't feel safe having to walk along outside walk to get to parking lot or to rooms after 10pm, and would've liked to relax in entertainment room after 10, which we can in most hotels. Staff and rooms very nice and clean.
- Caroline (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful setting, wonderful view, quiet
- Douglas (8/5): This was the perfect location for us. - The location was away from the crowds, very nice. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Delena (10/5): - Great value
- Chris (10/5): - Your pool facilities could be way better. That jacuzzi and baby pool has brown stuff all in it. Did not look clean at all. Was so uncomfortable. You need to do way better for the facilities. You need to hv stairs for the people stuck in the middle and have to walk all the way around just to get to the facilities. Thats an easy solution.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - People at desk were great. Thank you Julie, Ben, and 2 other agents names I can't remember
- Brian (10/5): Very relaxing and too short wanted to stay longer. - The room was very clean and nice. The facilities were awesome. Loved the kitchen and the barbecue and the ocean view. The WiFi is not free even though it says free WiFi in the description it is actually quite expensive.
- Christina (10/5): Comfortable and clean - Very comfortable and clean! Comfortable and clean
- Becky (4/5): - Beds are granite, there is only unreliable Wi-Fi for purchase, and is really not beach adjacent. 1 out of ten, would not go there again.
- E (8/5): - Location was excellent. Quiet and relaxing. Kind of remote. Staff was very friendly and service oriented. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Enjoy interacting with other guests at the pool/hot tub facilities. Golf course close by. Literally just walk across the parking lot to the course. Was told that they have excellent burgers and salads when the club house is open.Guests need to be aware that there is no complimentary wi-fi. Was told that was the choice of the timeshare owners to charge renters for wi-fi. There is a computer for guests to use in the lobby area. Also tends to be dead cellphone areas, especially on the ground floor. Had to go outside or up to the lobby area for cell service. We were in a one bedroom suite. The bedroom bathroom was kind of small (tight space). Overall we enjoyed our stay. Quiet and relaxing was what we were looking for and it met those needs. Friendly staff.
- Andrii (7/5): Good -
- Shelberz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrienne (8/5): Very good - They don't serve breakfast. I think it's ridiculous that they don't accept pets.
- Susan (10/5): It was the rest we both needed! - It was nice to be on a golf course, although we don’t golf another family member does and we will pass this on to him. The pool was a separate building and more of a hike than I could do
- Taylor (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay and found the room to be even bigger than what we expected! Perfect for our thanksgiving get away!
- Hyacinth (10/5): Great stay - Very friendly staff! We came for Thanksgiving and the kitchen had everything you could need and if you forgot something the staff had it. The laundry facilities were great bonus to have everything complimentary. Short walk to the beach. Amazing sunset On the second floor and could hear the upstairs running and stomping. The pool had to much chlorine. It burned our eyes.
- Jean (10/5): - No cell service. Need blankets in the room
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff was very helpful and accommodating
- Deborah (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (8/5): - Too many stairs to get to the pool hot tub area. Had to drive around and park if you want to avoid all those stairs. Part of building on a hill I suppose.
No cell signal inside rooms but plenty outside in parking lot. Also a charge if I wanted to use their Wi-Fi. I figured we were done with charging for internet at these places when we paid a premium to stay. It is what it is. It just put a negative mark in my book.
- Alexandria (8/5): - Decent rooms for the price. Nice having a full kitchen. The only negative thing I would have to say about our stay was our interaction with the worldmark representative. She was very unprofessional trying to get us to sign up for a time share meeting (since we are owners) said she is 2 away from losing her job and she’s a single mom. It was very uncomfortable.
- Jeremy (10/5): Lovely place and lovely staff - Staff were amazing and so friendly, lovely location and accommodation. Nothing
- Chris (8/5): - Nice location and view from the balcony. The listing says "elevator" but there is no elevator to the pool and hot tub. No A/C in the units, so they get pretty hot in the summer. The kitchens are well stocked with pans and dishes.
- DENNIS (10/5): - View
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (6/5): Always a great stay while in Ocean park. - Indoor swimming pool is nice and the rooms are safe from outsiders as well. Easy for multiple family members to stay close to each other. Staff was helpful. We’ve stayed multiple times and have never found anything negative to report.
- Tonya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Audrey (8/5): - Very roomy condo. Loved having the gas fireplace each night. Big swimming pool. A bit noisy during the day, but very quiet at night. A little ways from town, so bring everything you need.
- Eric (8/5): - We loved the views and proximity to the beach. The staff was helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the room and the pool area needs improvement. I am concerned whether the pool chemicals are checked daily and properly maintained. My boys started coughing uncontrollably when in the pool. I intended to mention it at the front desk but forgot.
- Charles (10/5): - Cozy, self sufficient, easy access. It was fun to see the clam digger’s bring in their catch.
- Aaron (8/5): Relaxing - The hot tub had so much chlorine in it that it made my eyes water severely. Couldn’t stay in more than 10 minutes.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (5/5): You should not have to pay for Wi-Fi and check out at 10 AM!!! - The kitchen was very well stocked, and the living room was comfortable for our family. Cell phone service does not work within the building and you have to pay for Wi-Fi. The bathrooms in the room are very small. The walls are very thin and you can hear all of your neighbors.
- Diane (10/5): We loved our stay, we used the hot tub and swimming pool and loved having a kitchen in our unit. - The location was good, a short distance to Oysterville and a nice state park in one direction. And in the other direction the nice town of Long Beach for restaurants and shopping. The only thing that could of been a little better for us, would of been an easier WiFi connection (free). Also mattress on our bed.
- Fatton (8/5): Very good -
- Like (8/5): - spaciuous. friendly stuff.
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (7/5): Good -
- Jack (2/5): - Like - Close proximity to beaches, Oysterville, Ocean Park. Quiet community area.
Ground floor units at the World Mark facility are not safe and anyone can walk up to your unit and look through the windows. Don't stay in bottom floor unit rooms.
The elevators aren't available between 10PM and 8AM. Must use stairs.
- Twila (10/5): - Have always enjoyed staying at Worldmark Surfside. Comfortable, and friendly staff.
- Robert (10/5): - The whole property is great for grand kids!
You can even drive your car on the beach, so it's easy to get the kids' stuff to the beach. It's also easy to walk to the beach. The pool and staff were also wonderful!
2nd time there...not our last !
- Debra (10/5): - Excellent front desk customer service. They went over everything with us, they were friendly and very welcoming! We had a great stay, our granddaughter absolutely loved the pool and play equipment. Very quiet, clean, and the sunsets absolutely wonderful! Will definitely be back!
- Sandra (6/5): - Was surprised you had to pay for internet and movies. Most high end places do not charge for this
- Marlynn (6/5): Safety issues at WorldMark - The clam cleaning station had a flimsy board and caution tape and that area was very unsafe and one person in our party fell and hurt himself because of the unsafe area.
- LAURALEE (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!
- Cindy (10/5): - Great stay. We can’t wait to come back.
- Melissa (10/5): - We love staying at world mark
The room is spacious and you can cook your own food.
The pool area is fantastic!
All the folks that work there are super friendly.
- David (10/5): - I love the location and enjoy the view of the ocean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Already relax , golf and swimming
- Daniel (8/5): - This resort needs to come into the 2020’s and provide their guest internet included with the room charge and not pawn it off on a third party provider who over charges for the sevice.
- Keith (10/5): - Great place to vacation
- Jacqueline (10/5): - There was a tv with DVD/BluRay player in both the living area and the bedroom. The bed was really comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Home Away From Home - Truly a comparable home away from home. Great staff and condition. Close to the beach, yet away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect place to stay!
- laura (10/5): - Great place to stay. Clean and excellent customer service.
- David J (10/5): - Great Views
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location has an easy walk access to the beach.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The units were nice, clean, the beds comfortable, great shower. Fully equipped kitchen and actually had cabinet space for you food. It was a bit further from the ocean than I would have liked, and from the ground floor only a blue line view of the ocean. Loved having two bathrooms. My only real gripe was the10:00 am checkout. I did not sleep well the night before because I was worried about having enough time to have breakfast shower up, pack up our food and leave on time.
- Patrick (8/5): Quiet location, nice getaway. - Nice place on the quiet end of the peninsula, not far from the action. We'll definitely return.
- Lynn (8/5): Nice, but won’t be back because of amenities. - People who work there are super nice! Not sure I agree with charging for Wifi in this day and age, but that is a Worldmark thing. Also don’t provide coffee past first day. It’s the little things.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everyone was very nice, the location was perfect for my event and room was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We liked the easy walk to the beach and the extra room and 2 bathrooms!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent attention to detail, higher quality finishes than expected, lots of great little touches like spices/seasonings, paper towels, sponges, soap, coffee filters, etc already included with the place. Tastefully decorated! No stupid cutesy folksy knick knacks.
Perks like pool, hut tub were shut down due to The Age of The 'Rona - not their fault, no review penalty for that.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked that it was quiet and away from it all. Easy access and nice views of the beach.
- Linda (10/5): - Only request is put out more coffee/creamer etc. Otherwise nice place.
- Marshall (6/5): - This is an older property that is lacking in some areas. There were gas grills for use but no operating instructions posted and no mention of the grills was made in the welcome package provided at check in. There was WiFi available but access had to be purchased separately (this could not be done at check in) and the limited number of options available were excessively expensive! There was also a disruptive phone call with an invitation to a "timeshare" sales seminar. The room was a bit noisy because I could hear the occupants above each and every time they walked in their room. This was especially annoying since it sounded like the guest above us was pacing the floor from 3:45AM until 5:30AM our first night there.
- Robert (4/5): - With cleanliness being one of our main priorities and being told that it was also one of theirs, we were very disappointed with the condition of our room. There was hair and dirt/sand on the bathroom floor. The bath tub rim was dusty and dirty. The bathroom sink did not drain and we were informed 'upon arrival' that we were to boil water before drinking it. Being in our 70s and with poor eyesight, we can only imagine what else we missed.
- Kristine (10/5): - 😎 Relaxing
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great but no ocean view as described - It was great only a couple issues but one was major. When I booked it described all rooms as ocean view. We brought our elderly mom who uses a walker and made sure we booked a place where she could enjoy the ocean from a patio or balcony because she can’t get out on the beach. However we got to our rooms and being on the bottom floor, we could not see the ocean. That was the reason we booked there - so my mom could sit outside and see the ocean from the room.
- Melissa (10/5): Walk to the beach, clean hotel - The property was really nice and had everything we needed. The only complaint we had is that it's far from restaurants, which is not the hotel's fault. It is fairly clean and they even let you do laundry for free. The pool was good and seemed clean. With it being open by reservation only was great for us so we had the place to ourselves.
