• Dr. DD (7/5): Good Stay - We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in April 2026. The hotel has a small parking area (in front). We were able to find a parking spot. The reception is part of the Restaurant/bar. Our rooms (another couple was with us) were way up on the 3rd floor. The hotel does not have an elevator, but the front desk person was kind enough to help us get our suitcases to our rooms. They also helped us on the day of our checkout. Within 10 mins of walking down hill from the hotel, there are many nice restaurants. All in all a good stay. Room on the top floor. Too much going yo stairs

• PIERRE (7/5): Très bonne adresse pour un court séjour à Inverness - Établissement bien situé, non loin de la vieille ville d’Inverness. Parking gratuit sur place. Chambres refaites à neuf, assez joliment décorées. Très bonne literie et salle de bains petite mais très fonctionnelle. Excellent petit déjeuner. Notre chambre était située au dernier étage, dans les combles, avec de nombreux pans coupés qui la rendaient assez inconfortable. De ce fait, elle était assez chère pour la qualité du logement.
• P8131SEec (8/5): Very Accommodating and in a Great Location! - We really enjoyed our time here! I was very pleased when the staff reached out and let me know an extra room had come available, so we could stay in the same location with my family. The rooms are well decorated and clean. The rooms are actually very quiet despite the pub downstairs, which was very nice for getting a good night's sleep. The smallest room in the converted attic area has excellent views! Watch your head on the vaulted ceiling, though. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is only a few minutes walk from High Street for lots of shopping and dining, which was excellent as well.

• Michael (8/5): Comfortable hotel with a busy bar scene - The room is wonderful and modern. Very large and the tub was the biggest I’ve seen. Parking was right out front in a small lot. There is a number of stairs /doors to manage and note that the staff also work the bar/restaurant which can be busy after work.

• MICHELLE (10/5): Darling hotel with beautiful spacious rooms and friendly staff. Great location. - Great location, walkable to lots of good restaurants and shops as well as Inverness Castle (not a real castle but very interesting to visit regardless). A cute older building which has been updated on the inside. Very friendly staff. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the hotel, and appreciated the gluten free options. Our room was very large and very comfortable. We also appreciated the onsite parking lot. We liked everything, however we were surprised that the room was serviced (bed made and towels replaced) while we were out during the day, without our requesting this. We have become accustomed to hotels only providing housekeeping upon request, and we generally do not request this for a short stay. Also, while the rooms have definitely been modernized and we found everything to be very nice, there is a maze of stairs in this older building to get to the rooms, with several fire doors to pass through. Something to be aware of if you are lugging lots of luggage.

• Jon (7/5): Comfy, but Overpriced - Location is good, just a few blocks from old town. Parking on site is a plus. Rooms were quite nice, though directly above a rockin' bar, though the noise wasn't really an issue. Very comfortable stay. Check in was confusing. Did we pay for breakfast or didn't we? Did he charge us for breakfast or not? When we came down for breakfast the next morning, apparently not to both, and then 16 pounds for a bowl of porridge and coffee. Then they wanted to charge more when my wife ordered a latte. Overall, a comfortable hotel but not a great value.

The location is perfect - close enough to the city centre (10 mins walk maximum) yet in a quiet residential area. Nothing.

• GregStrain90 (9/5): - The room was very nice, had everything I needed and most importantly was dog friendly (for a £10 surcharge). Bar & Lounge area of the hotel are dog friendly. Checkout time was at 1100 which is also a bonus. When I booked I genuinely thought breakfast was included, apparently it wasn't, no big deal the night before meant I wasn't fit for breakfast, after 6 days of fry ups on my NC500 trip was sick of looking at them anyway.

Not so much “didn’t like” as I knew it in advance - but just to make others aware that whilst private parking is available, it is a small space - however there are nearby streets where parking is possible overnight (have to move by 8am).

• JAY (8/5): Great place to stay & the plus points far outweigh the negatives. - A warm, very comfortable room that has been refurbished to a very high standard. The bar area on the premises is very pleasant and the branches lit with fairy lights at the large front window/seating area are very attractive. . The bottle bin from the bar in the premises being emptied outside at 9pm was an avoidable racket. I work part time in a pub and we are not allowed to empty the bottle bin after 7pm/before 8am to avoid disturbing the neighbours (plus residents in this case). The hairdryer provided has a nozzle attachment which doesn't actually fit the hairdryer provided. There are sticky finger marks on the curtains by the window seat (I stayed in room number 1).

We got a room upgrade on arrival which topped off a great stay. The car park was quite small and quite full as the restaurant was busy and in the middle of town.

• Timothy (9/5): A first class hotel. - The quality of the accommodation is very high, and the location suited us. We live in Sussex and were in Inverness for a family funeral. The staff are helpful and courteous . The room should have a notice on the door about actions in the event of a fire. A second chair would have been useful. For wet shavers like me a mirror placed so as to illuminate the face would be useful. I’m 85 and a grab-handle in the shower would be useful.

The alcohol-free cocktails were delicious. Breakfast was not included in room price which is good as flexible options were available. Ambiance was excellent. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. All the pillows were rather hard which is a shame as the bed was very comfortable. The bedside lamps were a bit too dim for reading.

• Chloe (9/5): Fantastic location, free parking and delicious breakfast included - would stay here again in a heartbeat. - Fantastic location, only a 10 minute walk to the town centre and plenty of places to eat nearby. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel so welcome. The room decor was gorgeous, we were given a standard king room but the bed was bigger than a king which was nice! The tunnocks teacakes in the room were a lovely surprise as well. Free parking and breakfast was included and the food was delicious, lots of options available including vegetarian cooked breakfast. Excellent value for money as well, would definitely stay here again. The only thing for me was the pillows were a tad hard but that’s just a personal preference, apart from that the bed was very comfortable.

• andrewhS3203CB (4/5): Not this time - Unfortunately on settling into the lounge area, yes the lounge bar not the public bar, there is a small group of men who have had quite a few drinks and there is plenty swearing going on. One of them apologises to customers for swearing but it is an unpleasant experience. Staff don't bat an eyelid. Someone could say this is a lounge and there are other customers and diners but nothing said. Service okay, decent draft beers so it's a pity the experience was poor. I am composing this to indicate to customers and management this is not the upmarket experience you may expect of a well placed establishment such as this.

We had a great room on the upper floor which wasn’t massively big but was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was sooo comfortable - one of the best I’ve ever slept in ! Hotel was super central - literally 5 minutes walk from everything 😀 Nothing !!

• Velina (10/5): Such a great stay - We had a great stay! The staff is very welcoming and the place is vibrant - the moment you come in, you hear the buzz of it yet when we got to our room (which they had upgraded to a very spacious one without additional charge) it was nicely quiet. The bed was king size and wonderfully comfy. It was nearly refurbished and everything was clean. The breakfast was very good too, with loads of choice and very tasty, nicely presented too. We definitely want to come back. Plus the neighbourhood was very pleasant too, really close to the centre (a few minutes away from the train station) and the steep street near East gate shopping centre that we walked to get to the hotel was this little gem with quite a few super inviting restaurants and we have a great evening in one of them.
