- Kerstin (10/5): Netter Aufenthalt im Avatar Hotel - Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Avatar Hotel. Unser Zimmer (1208) in der 12. Etage war sehr groß, die Betten bequem und mit einem tollen Ausblick auf den Strand. Badewanne und Dusche waren vorhanden. In der 12. Etage war kaum etwas zu hören vom Trubel unten auf der Straße. Das Frühstück war für uns völlig ausreichend, zwar viele asiatische Gerichte- aber wer in Asien Urlaub macht, sollte vielleicht auch einmal diese Gerichte probieren. Dennoch war für Europäer auch noch genug Auswahl da. Liebe Grüße an die Damen des Housekeeping und das Team der Rezeption👋👋🥰 . Zu bestimmten Zeiten musste man mal länger auf den Fahrstuhl warten (der jedoch immer gut funktionierte👌), aber das war nur ein kleines "Problem". Alles in Ordnung - bis auf die Wartezeiten am Fahrstuhl, was unseren Aufenthalt aber nicht negativ beeinflusst hat.

- Kate (9/5): Wonderful! We loved the people and enjoyed the vast array of very affordable food options. - The breakfast was varied. A lot of Vietnamese dishes, vegetarian options and some western. I enjoyed their pho soups, their juices, coffee and little deserts. On day I also enjoyed eggs on toast. Nothing.
- Maryna (7/5): Overall, taking into consideration prices in the area, I guess it is a fair price. But I wouldn’t recommend it to my fri - Location. Lobby (very authentic). A postcard and some local sweets at the room when you arrive as a nice detail. I was thankful that I asked for a quiet room high floor and they actually put us far from elevator and relatively high (12th of 17n floor). 1. Room is really dated and has very weird distribution. The cooling system was in one of the wardrobes. And yeah, the room was really hot and took a while to cool it down. Bathroom was with a sea view (which is nice, ofc) and with curtains made of cloths, so, every time you have a shower you have to choose: or made curtains wet (tried not to) or to leave huge panoramic windows open. Yes, it is high floor, but I still don’t feel comfortable being with open windows. The door between bathroom and the room is transparent, so hello sunrise at 5am. No, I love sunrise, but with a baby I prefer to be able to sleep longer. 2. Cleaning was minor. Floor was really dirty, had a feeling that they don’t really pass the mop. Was funny (no), that one day we were out since early morning until 3pm. We came back, I noticed that the cleaning lady didn’t come yet, though we just saw her in the hall, and in 1 min she knocked the door. Obviously, we had to say no to cleaning, because we just arrived and she saw us, so we got a feeling that she did it in purpose. Another thing is that they were all the time taking towels (although we were leaving them according to the instructions at some place for not changing every day) and was bringing only towels for 2 people. Yes, we are 2 adults, 2 kids, but my kids are also taking shower, and also need a towel. 3. Breakfast was just okay. We stayed in a few other places around Vietnam, and here the breakfast was the most basic. Although the staff in the restaurant were very nice. 4. Hotel has 2 small elevators, but for 17-story building it is not enough. During mornings it was really hard to get to it. 5. What really pissed me off it is the time of checking-out. I came to the reception, said that we are leaving and the guy replied: one moment. He called to the staff to check the room.

- Igor (9/5): Nice stay - The location was perfect. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was good enough for a single traveler, with large windows and nice bathroom. The gym and pool are minimalistic but can be enjoyed. The breakfast was decent. Overall, great quality for a rather low price. The towels were not always spotless clean. The sink was at times quite slow to discharge water. It was an intermittent issue, sometimes worked fine, sometimes slow. Acoustic isolation was far from perfect. My room was located on the 5th floor, almost next to the breakfast area (third floor). In the first morning, the "happy birthday" song repeatedly woke me up starting from 6:30 am. The thing is that they have a nice bonus cake for guests' birthdays, and they put on this music during the breakfast. That's a nice touch but the music is quite loud.

Corridors were hot (not airport conditioned) but a small price to pay for the room quality and closeness to beach and great food and coffee.

Der Laminatboden ist nicht überall gut verarbeitet. An den Stössen kann man sich verletzen da einige vorstehen. Manchmal lange Wartezeiten beim Lift. Nur 2 Lifte für 17 Stockwerke mit 100 Zimmer.

- Joe (10/5): Excellent stay, and I come to Da Nang every year for past 4 years!! - The hotel is in a perfect location. The room was clean, bed was awesome, and staff were polite and helpful, especially Chi and Mint. The breakfast was superb. And the Lobo Cafe was exceptional. All good.
- Maude (7/5): - The property was ok once I had the room i was supposed to get which was only on the second night after escaladind to Booking, at my arrival they were firmed on the fact that since I had reserved through booking nothing was guaranteed in terms of type of room so instead to have a suite with 2 king side bed I had 1 queen bed and 2 twin bed, the first room was old, and very dirty! The next morning after my complaint to Booking i was offered a very clean and great suite with the 2 king side beds ! The room was renovated and very comfortable. Location

The hair dryer smells burnt when used but the staff replaced it when we asked for a new one so really not a big deal. Water drains slow on the bath tub

The rooms were nice a big, although I will never understand why a toilet in a room would have just glass around it. The breakfast buffet was good, they have a chef cooking fresh eggs all morning. The staff were all amazing and so friendly. The furniture was a bit dated and old, the ‘sofa’ was so uncomfortable.

- Lourline (8/5): Convenient, rooms are comfortable, very affordable, excellent staff - It is close to everything, the restaurants, massage, laundry, convenience stores are just opposite the hotel. The front staff are provided exceptional service, lovely and helpful, the staff at the breakfast buffet are all helpful and greets you every morning. The facilities are not maintained - the pool and the gym desperately need upgrading, hardly anyone is using it due to its state. The corridors on Level 12 where we stayed were not painted, just bare cement walls and is not airconditioned. The furnitures in the lobby needs to be replaced, and the look updated to match a 4 star property.

We checked in a day after my birthday but Ms Mint at the front desk arranged for a birthday cake. 🎂 I really appreciated her gesture and the kindness. The kitchen/resto staff, Nancy, Agnes, and 1 other kind lady brought over the cake to our room, and sang me a birthday song. 🥰 My husband and my son also loved the gesture. The room we got was really big, and we got to walk to the beach at sunset and sunrise because it was so close. 🌊

- Don (9/5): Spacious accommodation in An Thuong - We stayed in a Junior suite with a sea view and the room was extremely spacious. First room in Vietnam with two bathrooms and an actual separate bedroom. The kitchen had no supplies but when I requested that from the front desk they quickly brought up everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent. The building is showing some signs of wear and tear and the gym wasn’t the best or most modern.

Külön kiemelném Annát, aki kedvességével, mosolyával, probléma megoldó képességével nagyon kellemessé tette a nyaralásunkat. A biztonsági őr fiatalember nagyon segítőkész volt. Összességében mindenkinek köszönjük a csodálatos kiszolgálást. Ilyen nem volt!

Concernant les repas sur place un petit-déjeuner varié et le bar restaurant au rez-de-chaussée est très bien. Le personnel souriant, ainsi qu'à l'accueil, nous avons effectué les 2 visites que proposent l'hôtel c'était très bien. Quelques peintures devraient être faites dans les halls menant aux chambres (peinture sur les murs abîmés) ainsi que la moquette abîmée également.

È da rivedere il servizio di mezza pensione, in quanto ti fanno cenare al bar dell'hotel, ubicato all'aperto senza possibilità di cenare all'interno dello stabile. Inoltre il cibo deve essere ordinato almeno un'ora prima e non vi è possibilità di decidere al momento che cosa si preferisce gustare. Inoltre, se loro ritengono che ci sia troppa gente, ti fanno slittare la cena ad ora più tarda.

The rooms were cozy, and everything we needed was provided. I would especially like to mention the administrator/manager Chi — she was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Her warm attitude and genuine care made us feel very welcome and truly enhanced our experience. Thank you to the Avatar Hotel team for the great hospitality. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
