The rooms were clean, comfortable and fully serviced. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and at home. Our breakfasts were delicious and service excellent. From the entrance to dining to our rooms, the hotel is bright and beautiful, clean and fresh. Well priced, near most inner city tourist spots from which we walked to the old city, the night markets, endless shops and wonderful local food. Enjoy your stay as much as we did.

I am so impressed with the efficiency of services from booking to checking in, the staff friendliness, helpfulness, and attentiveness. I had to make amendments to my booking twice as my friend couldn't make it last minute, and the staff helped to make the amendments to the best I had enquires regarding my tour to Ha Long Bay and Jason helped and contacted the related tours and gave me the information. The reception staff Ngueng (sorry if i got the spelling wrong) was so helpful to help me across the street checked with the driver for Ha Long Bay Cruise that I got on the correct bus. We had a nice chat while waiting. I felt so touched with the hospitality, attentiveness to the details. Made my stay felt like a second home. Everything works so well in the room too. From lightings, to bathroom, beddings, etc. The room cleanliness is superb! Not too big, but good enough for 2 persons and very comfortable , comes with a balcony. I love this hotel as they have printed copies of information. I will definitely stay in this hotel for my next Hanoi trip, or their group of hotels for my next visit to other parts of Vietnam. My room was at the front of the hotel and even though it was high there was some noise from outside early in the morning when ladies of a certain age do their exercise to loud music. I come from a big, noisy city so found it no problem but others may find it concerning.

- Kishani (9/5): Comfortable stay in a prime location with exceptional staff and service. - The location was perfect! Very central and right in front of the lake. We took two rooms - my one was very large with a nice balcony and an amazing view. Food was also delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful! We also changed money at the lobby at bank rates. Very convenient and safe. -

We didn’t mind this as we’re early birds and were already awake. Also breakfast is a bit pricey for Vietnam but there are plenty of places near by to have breakfast.

- Msjesa (10/5): Unbeatable - I have never loved a hotel more. The location is unbeatable. As soon as you step outside you're greeted by the most stunning view of the lake. It's a short walk to cafes or the night markets. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. The stand out was the staff though. I only stayed one night but by time I left I felt like I'd made friends out of the staff. They were so friendly and interested to speak to me and talk about my trip. The most lovely people. Especially lovely Thuy at the front desk. I felt so sad to leave. I'll be back soon!
- Robyn (10/5): Best location in Old Quarter Hanoi - The hotel was in the most amazing location across the lake in central Hanoi within walking distance to local restaurants, shops, attractions and night markets. Although being in a central location, traffic could not be heard from the rooms which made for the most comfortable sleep. Leo and the staff were all so friendly, helpful and very accomodating, would definately recommend this hotel. Nothing.

Everything felt well maintained, with a cosy atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a busy day in Hanoi. Even though I arrived very late, I was greeted with a warm smile and a very efficient check-in process. Their professionalism and helpfulness during the late hours made me feel safe and welcome.

Especially important when you arrive into a new country and busy city with your family. They make you feel relaxed and look after you so well. I would single out the service and the staff friendliness and helpfulness. Outstanding. In particular the staff were supremely helpful, e.g. a smooth check out at 5am and they even prepared the most excellent takeaway breakfasts for us, with very thoughtful small touches (like a small bag of salt for the hard boiled eggs!). All in all, highly recommended! No complaints - met all our expectations.
- Robyn (10/5): Amazing and affordable hotel in the middle of Hanoi - The hotel is in an amazing location across from Hoan Kiem lake and within walking distance to many attractions in Hanoi such as the night markets, Train St, shops and restaurants. The rooms were great and although located in a busy street, noise from outside could not be heard from the rooms which was fantastic. The amenities were fantastic and met our expectations, the food from the restaurant was also great. The staff during our stay were all super amazing and friendly. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an affordable and exceptional hotel in the middle of the city. Nothing.

- Ian (9/5): So glad we chose this hotel as our first stop on our Vietnam tour - Perfect location at the foot of Hoan Kiem lake. Very large room with King Size bed and both bath and shower. Only room on that level so no other guest noise. Staff were very charming and super helpful. The breakfast offering was really extensive, but not a fan of pre-ordering however understandable as only limited space in breakfast area.

The location was great and easily walkable to many key attractions. What really makes this hotel is the staff. They were friendly, offered recommendations on local places to go / eat and our breakfast service was lovely too. Such a hidden gem and we felt valued and well looked after. Would highly recommend

Staff is such friendly, flexible, attentive and always helpful, for example to accompany guests to the next intersection in search of the right taxi (once Hang Khay road is closed throughout the weekend.) Hope to be back soon Wish the windows and curtains facing East would be blocking out morning light and had a better soundproofing.

- samanthakD6459TE (10/5): Perfect stay - We stayed here for 3 nights altogether. First for 2 nights before a 2 night trip to Halong Bay, and returned for 1 more night. First impressions of the hotel, lovely. Very clean and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. For the first 2 nights we had room 101 which was huge and looked out over the lake. Lovely big bed, good air con, beautifully clean bedding and towels. Breakfast was pre order the night before which I don't mind doing. The yoghurt and museli was very good and my husband had poached eggs which were perfect. The 3rd night we stayed in room 802 which was much smaller but was so much higher up meaning the view of the lake was better, and because it was up higher there was less noise......Hanoi is crazy! When we left for Halong Bay the reception staff said we could leave some luggage at the hotel and they would keep it for us until we got back. We also left laundry with them which they put in our room for our return. The staff greeted us by name when we came back and asked after our trip. They really were lovely. The hotel is in a great location for exploring. We would 100% stay here again if we came back.

Staff were extremely helpful and a hotel where services and amenities are excellent. All staff provided us great assistance with our queries and were so polite in responding to all our needs. We would like to give special mention to Kevin, tour organizer and porter, who assisted us in organising tours and airport pick ups and drop offs. He had a positive approach to all our queries and always had friendly disposition.
